  “Excuse me.”

“You’re no longer invited. Get out of my house.” He spun around and faced her.

Kasey laughed. “You’re joking. We both know I’m the best kind of woman to take care of that need of yours.” She moved toward him, and looked like she was about to reach out and touch him. He grabbed her wrist, stopping her from touching him.

“I don’t want your hands on my body. You’re a slut, but I thought you were a pretty decent person. Now, you’re just a bitch and a slut.” He kept hold of her wrist as he moved her toward the front door.

  “You’re hurting me.”

He opened the door and shoved her out of it. “Don’t even bother coming back. Take your skanky ass and get the fuck out of my house.”

“Fine. You think you can do better than me, go ahead, give it a go. I’m the best you’re ever going to get.” She flicked her hair and spun on her heel. He was so angry that he was shaking with it.

  “What happened there?” Sean asked.

Brant faced his brother, who was holding a beer in one hand and a soda in another.

“Let’s just say that Kasey made her thoughts about Elisha known, and I didn’t like them.”

“I always told you she was a bitch, but you never actually believed me.”

“I believe you now. She was just so fucking easy, and I didn’t have to work at fucking her.”

“Do I want to know what she said to change your mind?”

Brant looked around to make sure Elisha wasn’t around. “She told me Elisha wasn’t supposed to be here, and she should go be with her own kind of people.”

“Her own kind of people?” Sean asked, looking confused.

  “Fat people.”

Sean’s mouth dropped open. “What? Seriously?”

“I’m not making this shit up.”

His brother just laughed. “She clearly doesn’t know what a real woman looks like. Fucking bitch. I told you she was bad news.”

  “That you did.”

“Come on, Elisha’s kicking my ass.” Sean made his way back to the pool table, and when he entered the room, he saw Elisha looking at the artwork on his walls. He’d done most of the art as it was his entire life.

  “Hey, babe,” Sean said.

“This work is fantastic. Where did you buy it?”

“I own a studio downtown where I display multiple artworks.”

  “You do?”

“Yes.” Brant didn’t want to tell her right away that he was an artist.

“Can I buy some? I’d love to have something like this on my wall.” She pointed at one of the setting sun.

“I’ll be in the office Monday. You can come by then.” He wanted to see what she thought of his work.

“Do you want me to be in the office on Monday?” Sean asked.

“No. It’s your day off. You can do something else.”

Picking up a pool stick, he lined up the shot and took it. For the next hour, he hung out with Sean, and got to know Elisha. He found her openness rather refreshing. Sean kept flirting with her, getting her to laugh.

Brant simply enjoyed watching her come out of her shell.

At around one, she covered her mouth with her hand and yawned.

“I’m sorry, guys, I’ve got to call it a night.”

  “I’ll—”

Brant shoved Sean in the chest and moved forward. “I’ll walk you home.”

“I live next door. It’s not like it’s far for me to walk.”

“Still, I’d like to walk you home.”

“Okay. It was great to finally meet you, Sean,” Elisha said.

Sean tugged her in for a hug, and she chuckled. Brant didn’t like the pull of jealousy that hit him from witnessing his brother having a simple hug.

Following her toward his front door, he admired her full, rounded ass. She had curves in all the right places. His cock started to stir as he watched her hips swing from side to side. He wanted to fuck her, and that thought right there made him realize why he was so damn angry when she called him an awful neighbor. Brant wanted to dirty her up, spread her thighs, and fuck her, yet she couldn’t stand him.

“I had a lot of fun tonight,” she said, turning to him as he closed the door. Together they walked toward her house.

“I’m glad you came. I now know never to give up when it comes to you. You’ll cave eventually.”

“I talked with my sister, and she told me I can be quite hard as a neighbor.” She tucked some of her raven locks around her ear. “I really shouldn’t have been mean to you.”

“It’s okay. I’ve not taken it personally. We got off on the wrong foot.”

“You did have orgies in your garden though. It made it impossible for me to clean my windows.”

  “You could have watched.”

“Ew, I couldn’t. That is just too much for me to take in. I’m not going to watch you with other women. I’m not some kind of voyeur.”

He chuckled, imagining her pressing her nose against the window watching him fuck a random woman. “You like to keep everything clean?”

“Yes. It’s a curse to be honest. I drive my sister crazy when I visit her. I have to stop myself from cleaning up her mess. It’s not a good thing.” She shrugged. “Wish I could change that.”

“Did you always like to clean?” he asked, wanting to know more about her.

“I always liked my space clean, but I was never this obsessive before.” She chuckled. “My sister thinks I need a man who’ll distract me enough, and I won’t think about cleaning, but sex.”

His cock got even harder. He’d be more than happy to distract her enough so that she didn’t think about cleaning.

“Monday, you’re coming by my office?” he asked, needing to get out of there before he made a mistake.

“You got it. I had fun tonight, Brant. See you on Monday.”

He watched her unlock her door, and enter, closing it before he turned, and walked back to his own house.

“Did you see her to her door?”

  “Yes.”

“Are you in love with her?” Sean asked, smirking.

“Shut up. I’m not in love with her.”

“But you want to fuck her?”

  “Now that I won’t deny.”

“I’m just pleased you’ve seen the error of your ways about Kasey. That woman was a fucking bitch.”

“Well, she won’t be coming around anymore.” He collapsed into his seat, and took a swig of the beer that Sean handed to him.

“What about Elisha? Will she be coming around a little more?” Sean asked.

  Brant really hoped so.

  Chapter Four

Elisha felt good. She’d gone back to Beth’s house on Sunday, and for the first time in forever, she didn’t try to clean something. Even Beth and Andrew commented on the fact she’d had fun with the kids rather than staring at the house with a critical eye.

“One night of partying, and you’re cured.”

Beth’s words made her smile. She didn’t believe she was cured, not by a long shot.

“What’s got you smiling?” Anna asked. Anna had been with her from the very beginning, when she started up her cleaning business. Together they had developed the company, and Elisha made sure Anna got everything she ever wanted. They had been through hell, experienced heaven, and she was the most trusted employee.

Elisha had offered to make Anna a partner¸ but she didn’t want to be a partner, just an employee.

“Do you remember that neighbor I was telling you about?”

“The one who has orgies, and is always having parties?”

“Yes. I went to one of his parties this weekend.”

“You rebel you.” Anna stood up, removing her mask from her face. They were completely covered in white suits as they cleared away a house that had once been inhabited by addicts. She heard the police in the other room also going through some of the chaos that surrounded them. This kind of work was dangerous, and they had to make s

ure their bodies were protected from possible needles and drugs. The gloves they wore were thick, but they had to keep their attention on the work. “I don’t know how anyone can live here.”

“They didn’t exactly live here. They survived here, doping up, and moving on.”

Elisha stood up, pushing her mask into her hair, and turning in a circle. They each had a path cleared from the doorway to the center of the room.

“This is going to take a long time to actually clean up,” Anna said.

“Hey, ladies, how are you doing?” Carl, one of the police officers, asked.

“This is awful. How has this been overlooked for so long?” she asked.

“Shit like this is always overlooked. It costs the government every single year to clean up a dump like this. You think it’s about taking out the trash, but there’s also the re-housing of the people we find inside. Most of the time, they’re going to do time for possession with intent to distribute.”

Elisha’s cell phone started to ring, and she apologized, pulling it out of the back of her jeans pocket.

She made her way out of the house, toward the fresh air.

  “Hello,” she said.

  “Hi, is this Elisha?”

“It certainly is. Can I ask who is calling?” She removed the mask from her head and took some deep breaths. The smell of urine, decay, and even worse, feces covered the house.

“It’s Danny. We met at Brant’s house party this weekend.”

“Danny, hey, what can I do for you?”

“I was hoping you’d be willing to take the job of cleaning that venue I was telling you about?”

“I was supposed to call you, right?”

“I looked your name up on the internet, and found you that way.”

Elisha couldn’t help but smile. Having a website had been Anna’s idea. “Excellent. I’ll have to come around and give you a quote, and to make sure we can actually clean the place that you’ve picked.” She’d been called to places to clean up that were not even stable enough for people to be inside, with crumbling walls and other such things.

  “I’m free this afternoon.”

Elisha bit her lip. She wanted to go and look at the artwork that Brant had on offer. Part of her wanted to go ahead and do more business, but she didn’t want to go. They were a good business. This was the first time she wasn’t jumping at the opportunity to meet a new client.

“I’m not free. How about Tuesday morning?” she asked.

“Sure. I look forward to meeting you again.”

  “You, too.”

She hung up the phone, and pocketed her cell.

“We can’t do anymore,” Anna said.

Turning around, she saw her friend was already stripping out of her work gear.

  “What?”

“It’s too bad that the cops can’t risk our lives. We’re an independent company they contract. There’s too much of a hazard to let us continue.”

“I’m really sorry, ladies, but I can’t risk it,” Carl said, coming out.

“What are you going to do?” Elisha asked.

“Clear away most of the mess. There’s a company that handles places like this, and takes special care to remove needles.” Carl shrugged. “I wish there weren’t companies out there for this shit, but there are.”

“When you’re done, you’ll give us a call, right?” she asked.

“You’ll be the first person we call.” Carl nodded at them, before turning around and going back in the house.

“Wow, we’re free for the rest of the day, unless you’ve got another job?” Anna asked.

“Nah, you go on. There’s somewhere I want to be anyway.”

  “A date?”

  “Not a date. Not really.”

Anna chuckled. “You don’t need to worry about anything. Call me if a job comes up. I’m going to bake some cupcakes for the kids to decorate when they get home.”

She watched Anna strip out of the white suit and make her way toward the car. Elisha glanced down at her body, and cringed. She wore the white suit with a pair of old, bleach-stained jeans. The shirt was also cut along the bottom. For jobs like this she didn’t like wearing her nice clothing as it would only get worse.

Climbing into her car, she drove home in order to change out of her clothes. She always cleaned them regardless of where she’d been. Putting the messy clothes into a wash basket, she placed the white suit into the washing machine.

She decided on a summer dress and a cardigan, along with a set of pumps. Elisha had never been one to wear shoes. Deciding against makeup, she made her way back out to her car just as Sean was making his way toward his own front door.

Sean whistled after she gave him a wave. “Looking good, little neighbor.”

“I’m just on my way to see your brother. Do you think it’ll be okay for me to go and see him?”

“He’s waiting for you. He’ll love it.” Sean leaned against the fence.

Not know what else to say to him, she gave him a smile, and started toward the car.

“You don’t know anything about Brant, do you?” Sean asked.

Glancing behind her, she gave him a smile. “I don’t know what you mean.”

“What Brant is? What he does for a living?”

“I thought he owned a studio where he showcases all of the artwork that he buys.”

“Yeah, something like that. Catch ya later, neighbor.”

  “Bye, Sean.”

Confused by Brant’s brother, she didn’t let it stop her from heading toward Brant’s studio. She actually looked forward to seeing him again.

  ****

“She doesn’t have a clue you’re an artist,” Sean said.

Brant held the cell phone up to his ear, listening to his brother. “I don’t want her to know just yet.”

“You know chicks dig a guy who draws shit, right?”

“Aw, is my little brother jealous about the pussy I get?”

“If you’re talking about the likes of Kasey, you’ve got no chance. She doesn’t turn me on. She’s got claws that makes my dick want to die, not get all happy and excited.”

He couldn’t complain with Sean’s judgment of Kasey. Brant agreed with him. The problem was, he liked easy pussy, and Kasey had been incredibly easy. However, he was starting to have a yearning for a certain raven haired neighbor, who liked to clean.

  Damn, he was screwed.

“So, are you going to try and seduce our sexy little neighbor?”

Speaking of their neighbor, Elisha chose that moment to walk through the door.

“Got to go.” He hung up the phone without saying goodbye, and smiled over at Elisha. “Welcome to my palace.”

She smiled the moment she saw him. “Brant, hi. I’m not intruding, am I?”

“Nah, the shop is empty.” Sean had been watching it for most of the morning, and at lunchtime, Brant had sent him home. Elisha had said that she’d come in the afternoon. During the morning, he’d been working on a special project. Now, he was the one handling his shop. Sean had told him that they had sold three pieces this morning. One online, and two more through the physical shop. Danny had also gotten in touch about being ready in a month for a new display of work, at a new venue.

Brant never liked doing venues with other artists, but it was always good for business.

She closed the door, and started looking around. “This is amazing.” She moved past him toward a wintery scene. He’d been in Canada the year before in a log cabin during a snowfall, and he’d used the opportunity for drawing inspiration. Brant liked her reaction to his work.

“What are you thinking?” he asked.

“This work is very, very good. I’ve always avoided art to be honest as it always seemed a load of crap. I tend to like stuff that is printed, and sold in every single shop. It’s not pretentious.”

“Do you think this is pretentious?”

“No. I don’t.” She moved onto a beach scene. He’d been sitting at the edge,
watching the tide roll in. Brant would do rough sketches, and then get back to his own place, and recreate the art. “I feel warmth when I look at each picture.”

  “What do you mean?”

“The paintings or drawings, whatever they’re called, are not, erm, they’re not copied, if that makes sense. There’s warmth and energy in what he’s created. I love it. So much care, and love, and I can’t help but smile when I look at it.” She reached out as if to touch the painting then stopped.

He followed her around the room, watching her reaction to some of the work. Brant also had a special, X-rated section.

“I want to show you something else.” He made her wait at a door before heading back to the front of the shop. Locking the door, he found Elisha where he left her.

“What do you want to show me?” she asked.

  “Are you easily offended?”

  “I don’t know.”

“I guess we’ll see.” He opened a door, and flicked on the special light. The room was dark with only spotlights over the paintings. There were some clients who only wanted the erotic in their life. He had over a dozen pictures that he’d drawn and painted of sex in many different forms.

  “What is this?” she asked.

“I call it the room of pleasure, and without rules.”

One picture was of a man and woman, wrapped around each other kissing. The man’s cock was pressing against the woman, and her body was turned so her tits and pussy were on display. Another woman was sat with her legs splayed open.

  “These are…”

“I understand if you consider them gross. They’re only for a select market.”

“They’re beautiful.” She moved around the room, and he couldn’t help but watch her.

  “You really think so?”

  “Yes.”

She tripped over something, and he caught her, placing his hand on her waist. “Careful, babe.”

She released a sigh and glanced over her shoulder. “Sorry.”

He couldn’t help but look at her lips. Squeezing her hip, he placed his other hand on her cheek, stroking her skin.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

  “Nothing.”

Her skin was soft and silky to the touch, and beautiful.

  “This isn’t nothing.”
