SASKIA
You’ve got to be kidding me.
I stare at the two women standing at the front door. One is my sister, there is no missing that. The other, is clearly, Theresa. Mason’s sister. I know this because she looks exactly like him, with long dark hair, and those incredible eyes. She’s tall and slim and incredibly beautiful. She’s the devil in disguise. Without a doubt. What I want to know is why the hell both of them are at Mason’s house on a Sunday morning.
He just left.
Which means I have to deal with them.
“Can I help you?” I ask them, acting as if I don’t know my sister because, honestly, I want to punch her right in the eye.
She’s standing there rubbing her belly, effectively rubbing it in my face.
“We’re not together,” Theresa says, staring at Yolanda, then back at me. “She is clearly here for you. We arrived at the same time. I’m here to see Mason.”
“Mason isn’t here,” I say, trying to sound polite, but I want to punch her right in the nose.
Selfish.
I don’t do selfish.
“Well, I’ll just wait inside for him then,” she says, sugar sweet.
She thinks I don’t know what kind of monster she is.
But I do know what kind of monster she is.
And she is not stepping one single foot into this house.
“Sorry, love.” I smile, but it’s cold and bitter. “You’re not coming into this house.”
“I’m sorry,” she says, “but do I know you?”
“I’m the maid. I’m also under strict instruction not to let anyone in, including Mason’s gold digging sister.”
Her mouth drops open. “I don’t know who you think you are—”
“I told you, the maid,” I cut her off.
“I will speak to Mason about this. Whatever he has told you, is clearly untrue. I’ll wait inside.”
She goes to step past me, and I shove a hand across the doorway. “I might be small, lady, but I will put you on your pretty, spoiled ass if you so much as even try to step in this door.”
She gapes at me. “I don’t know who you think—”
“Once again, the maid. Once again, don’t try me. I will drop you.”
“This is as much my house as it is his!” she spits. “I have things in there I’d like to collect.”
“The jewelry, you mean?” I say, cocking a hip so she can see I’m not here to mess around. “Or the expensive things? Or the money? All of it, maybe? He’s told me about it all, he’s also told me not a single dime was left to you. So, if you don’t mind, I’d appreciate you leaving.”
“You know nothing!” she spits. “That is my mother’s stuff, and that means it’s mine. He’s being greedy, taking it all when it isn’t his! I want what I’m entitled to.”
“Three seconds to leave or I call the police,” I say, smiling sweetly at her. “One.”
“It’s mine! Dammit!”
“Two!”
“You and Mason can both go rot in hell!” she screeches at me.
“Thank you very much, now leave.”
She glares at me. Panting. But I know she’s not going to push me any further. She turns on her heel and starts walking off. “Tell him this isn’t over.”
“Nice to meet you,” I call after her. “Don’t let karma fuck you hard on the way out. Because, I promise you, she’s right there riding you.”
She turns and glares at me, but I look to Yolanda. “I don’t care why you’re here, the sight of you makes me sick. If you come back, I’ll call the police. Goodbye.”
I step inside the house and slam the door, dusting my hands off.
“And that,” I say to myself, “is how it’s done.”
I double check the door is locked and then go and find my phone. This is a total best friend moment, and I miss Chan. She is coming by tonight anyway for drinks and gossip, but right now I need to vent because, seriously, the nerve of those women. I’d never dare be so damned ... selfish!
“Hey, girlfriend,” she answers the phone. “Are you ready for tonight? I’ve got booze, booze, and more booze. Is that hot biker there? Make sure he’s there.”
I laugh. “Check and check. You’ll never guess what just happened.”
“What? Spill! Right now!”
“Well, Yolanda showed up the other day and—”
“Hold up, hold up,” she cuts me off. “The other day, and you’re only telling me this right now?”
“Well, I was saving it for tonight, but anyway, she showed up and guess what she said?”
“What?”
“She’s pregnant.”
Dead silence.
“What. The. Actual. Fuck!” she yells, and I have to move the phone away from my ear.
When she’s calmed herself down, I continue, “Yep. She had the nerve to show up here and tell me that, and then wonder how I was going with the money for Enzo.”
“That’s it!” Chan yells. “I’m going to bash her, and her boyfriend, you’re not helping him anymore. Surely? Surely, you’re not that stupid. I can’t handle this. No way. Cruel, heartless, bastards.”
My heart sinks, and I hate the feeling that washes over me, because why am I helping him still? Honestly, why?
“Well ...”
“Please, Saskia, tell me you’re not still going to help him. What more does he have to do to you for you to finally just go no way, stuff this, I’m done with you?”
“Good question,” I murmur.
“We’re discussing this, I’m coming over early. I’ll help you finish whatever you have to do there, this is a friend emergency.”
“Chan, it’s—”
“I’m coming!”
She hangs up the phone, and I stare down at it.
Well.
Tonight is going to get interesting.
Very quickly.

MASON
“Mason, I’m sorry, but we can’t keep letting you have time off. We no longer have a job for you.”
I squeeze the phone in my hand, heart racing. “I can’t help that my mother is unwell ...”
“You could have hired a carer,” my boss tells me.
“I have,” I growl. “Nobody wants to help her because she’s too difficult. I’m the only one she trusts.”
“There are other options, like a home.”
My chest clenches, and I want to reach through the phone and punch the fucker in the mouth.
“She’s my god damned mother.”
“I’m sorry, honestly, but we need someone dedicated to the job.”
Fuck.
Fuck me.
He hangs up, and I slam the phone down, shattering the screen. Without a job, I don’t know what I’m going to do. My mother has no idea how to operate her finances, none whatsoever. I know she did a will up before she started getting too bad, but now, she wouldn’t even know passwords, or what bank she is with. I know I’m the one who makes the decisions in regard to her will and money if she ever got this bad, but I didn’t want to have to resort to that.
It means lawyers.
It means family arguments.
It means something I don’t want to have to face.
But I’m going to have to, because she is no longer able to.
“Mason?” she calls from the living room.
I move through the massive house and stare at her, huddled in the corner, eyes wide, staring at the front door. “They’re out there.”
I walk over, crouching down. “They’re not out there, Mom. Nobody is out there. It’s just me.”
“I heard them discussing how they’re going to get me. I heard them.”
I exhale and squeeze her shoulder. “I’ll go and take care of it.”
“Thank you. Thank you, my son. My strong son.”
I walk out the front door and yet again deal with the people who don’t exist.
What the fu
ck am I going to do now?
I snap myself out of the memories that seem to keep making an appearance more and more in the last few weeks. Probably because Theresa is determined to make me suffer and take things that simply do not fucking belong to her. Lawyers. Money. Family. All of it, all over again. It was fucking hard enough to sort out when Mom was alive, let alone now that she isn’t here to even try and defend herself and her wishes.
I know what she wanted.
And I will fight for it.
I walk through my front door around early evening and hear giggling. The sound travels through the house and hits me right in the chest. It’s been a very, very long fucking time since I’ve heard happiness radiate out of this cold, unfeeling house. I glance in the direction of the sound and figure it’s coming from the back deck. I toss my keys down and walk out to see Saskia and her friend Chantelle sitting on the porch, drinks in hand, sun setting.
Her friend turns when she hears me, and her eyes light up. Pretty thing she is. Big, blonde, and bouncy. Be a good fuck. Not sure if I could deal with her further than that, though. She’s loud. Fucking loud. My eyes move to Saskia, who is now watching me, too. Her cheeks are rosy from alcohol and laughter, and her hair is curling down past her shoulders. She looks fucking incredible.
My dick twitches.
“Girl,” Chantelle says, openly letting her eyes run over my body, “you get to live with this every day?”
I grunt and look to Saskia again, and she’s staring at me from below those thick lashes. Fuck. Why is she looking at me like that? It’s hard enough to not rip her clothes off and bury my dick in her when she’s walking around in those little panties, let alone when she’s giving me that look.
“Care to join us, friend?” she murmurs. “You look like you could use a beer, and I have something to tell you.”
That doesn’t sound like anything I want to hear about right now.
“Good or bad?” I murmur.
“Bad, honey.”
Honey.
Fuck me.
I turn and walk back inside and get a beer, then I pull up a chair and sit down, cracking it open. I already had six with the guys before I came home. Things are quiet at the club right now, too fucking quiet. Feels like soon everything is just going to explode in our faces. We caused a big fucking war and took out some big people; if they find out, get wind of it, our time will come.
It’s almost like we’re just sitting back to see if that’ll happen.
“Hit me with it while I’m in a semi-good mood.”
Saskia crosses her legs on the chair. “Your sister paid the house a visit today.”
My chest clenches, and my fists go tight. “What the fuck did she want?”
“She claimed to want to see you when she knew you weren’t here. She tried to get in, but I wouldn’t let her. I told her I knew who she was and if she tried to get in, I’d drop her. She got angry then, going on about how she is entitled to some of it, blah blah blah. She left, but I thought you should know.”
I stare at her, and say, “You told her you’d drop her if she tried to get in?”
“More or less.” Saskia shrugs. “I might be little, but she wasn’t getting past me, and I made sure she knew it.”
I keep staring at her, and then I burst out laughing.
Fuck me.
I’ve met some people in my time, but never anyone like the girl sitting across from me. She’s got a strength and sass that I simply haven’t experienced before, and I fucking like it.
“Mason,” Saskia says when I’ve stopped laughing. “Did you just ... laugh?”
I grunt, still grinning.
“Oh, my lord, he laughed!” she cries. “I’ve finally done it. I’ve finally cracked him.”
Chantelle giggles. “That’s my girl.”
I grunt and sip my beer. “Don’t get too excited. I do still laugh, I am a human.”
“You are?” Saskia gasps. “I wouldn’t have guessed it.”
“Smart ass,” I mutter.
She smiles at me, and it hits me right in the dick. “You’re welcome, friend.”
Fuck me.
She’s growing on me.
She really fucking is.

SASKIA
“Tell her she’s insane!” Chantelle cries, throwing her hands up. “Someone needs to get it into her head.”
“You’re fuckin’ insane,” Mason murmurs, kicking back in his chair, big booted feet spread, muscles on display under that dark tee, looking so good I’m having an extremely hard time focusing on anything else.
“I’m not insane,” I protest. “I’m just ...”
“Insane!” Chantelle says again. “He’s a douche. You should never speak to him again.”
“Gotta agree, lady,” Mason adds. “He’s a fuckwit.”
I huff. “I’m fully aware of his fuck-witty-ness. But I can’t help but feel guilty. It doesn’t make sense to you two heartless creatures, but it does to me. When he’s out and everything is good, I’ll be fine, I’ll move on.”
“Unlikely, considering he’s only using you now so you’ll pay off his—”
I shoot a look at Chantelle and she clamps her mouth shut. She didn’t realize I haven’t told Mason that part of the story.
Probably because I’m ashamed of it.
Probably because I’m an idiot for letting it happen.
“What are you payin’ off for him?” Mason asks, eyes pinning me.
“Nothing, just a few bills.”
He narrows his eyes. “Fuckin’ liar.”
“I’m not a liar!” I snap.
“Awkward,” Chantelle murmurs. “Speaking of awkward, I have to get going, I have work early in the morning.”
I look to her, eyes wide. “Don’t go leaving me now, sister. Look at him, he looks like he’s going to attack something. I could be murdered tonight and it’ll be all your fault.”
She laughs. “I hope he attacks you, in the best way, of course. Might knock some sense into you.”
I give her big eyes, and she laughs, standing. “Walk me out.”
I huff and follow her out the door, not looking at Mason. I don’t want to see the kind of look he’s giving me.
He’s probably pissed because he knows I’m lying. But, technically, it isn’t his business. But, also, he did tell me about his sister, which makes me feel kind of bad because he confided in me, and I’m lying to him.
It’s dark out front and a little chilly. I walk Chantelle to her car. She’s only had a couple of drinks, so she’s good to drive. Otherwise, I’d be calling her a cab. Friends don’t let friends drink and drive and all that. She climbs in, and I lean down, staring at her. “He’s going to grill me now, you know that, don’t you?”
She grins. “I hope so. Maybe he’ll knock some serious sense into you.”
“You’re awful.”
“Love you, chicky.”
She shuts the door and pulls away with a big wave. Cheeky bitch. I glance back at the house and exhale. I know I’m going to get questioned when I go back in there. I slowly start walking back in and stop at Mason’s bike, glancing down at it. So fucking beautiful. I run my fingers over the tank, over the seat, and admire the power and strength that radiates off it.
It’s him.
All over.
A hard body comes up behind mine, and for a moment, I startle. I didn’t hear anyone coming. A big hand goes around and grabs hold of the handlebar, effectively trapping me against the bike, but not in an aggressive way. Which tells me right away it’s Mason. My heart starts pounding, because what the hell is he doing? And why don’t I want him to stop? Feeling his hard body pressing against mine makes everything go to jelly. My skin prickles, and my body comes alive.
“You payin’ out some debt for that fucker?” he murmurs into my ear, making my body shiver.
“Yes,” I whisper.
I don’t know what’s happening right now.
Manipulation! He’s manipulatin
g me with his manly powers.
And I like it.
A lot.
“Why?” he growls, hand moving from the handlebar and going to my belly, where he splays it out and presses me back against him.
I can’t breathe.
I want more.
“Because I feel guilty,” I whisper.
“Not good enough.”
“I don’t know what you want me to say.”
“Then I’ll tell you what you’re goin’ to do. You’re goin’ to remove him from your life and let him pay off his own debts.”
His hand slides lower, skimming the top of my shorts. Oh, God. My pussy pulses beneath my panties. I want him. Right here. On this bike. Now.
“I can’t do that.”
“You’re goin’ to do that.”
“No,” I say firmly, but my voice hitches because he spins me around until my ass is pressed against his seat and he’s right there, in my space, big body between my legs, bike holding me up.
“Yeah, you fuckin’ are.”
“Last time I checked, you weren’t the one who made the rules ...”
“Am now,” he growls, putting a hand to my chest and pushing me back on the seat.
“What are you doing?” I breathe.
“Can’t wait a fuckin’ second longer. I’m goin’ to fuck you. Right here. Right now. Show you what a real fuckin’ man feels like.”
Oh.
My.
God.
He drops to his knees and my back fully hits the seat. He turns my bottom half just slightly so he’s able to gain access to it, and he jerks my shorts off like they are merely an inconvenience to him. And then I’m exposed, pussy open to the cool night, big biker between my legs, his hot breath puffing against my flesh.
What is happening?
Oh, man. I am going to cum just from anticipation.
His mouth dives between my legs, and I gasp, gripping something either side of me, terrified the bike is going to give way. His mouth parts and he takes my pussy into it, surrounding me with incredible warmth, making my body seize up with instant pleasure. I gasp and then moan, low and deep, as his tongue starts flicking against my already swollen clit.
Over and over, he flicks and teases, moving from sucking to licking to thrusting his tongue in places that have been untouched for so long.
