The pain crested, sure she was bleeding again, and then his teeth lifted so he could roar at the others. Pinned by the massive hand on her back, she couldn’t even turn to see them, to plead with them.

There was nothing she could do under the sheer power of a male this large, this vicious, this beyond all sense of civility. It was the sound of him ripping his belt free one-handed that made her struggle, blind to reason and reality as she dug tattered nails into the wood and tried to fight his weight. His hand instantly switched to the back of her neck, gripping vertebrae until they ground together, and then his fingers dug in alongside and suddenly her mind went blank.

Body limp for a moment, he held her in place to finish removing his belt with a leathery swish that ended in the sound of metal fixtures landing on concrete. Barely a second later she felt his massive cock at her entrance, and she wanted to struggle but he had taken control. There was only violent acceptance as he lined up and shoved his thick shaft in with a brutal stroke.

A painful stretch caught on a silent scream as her entrance burned, body twitching, walls fluttering around the invader that split her too wide, too fast. Mordek’s growl buzzed with a groan of satisfaction as his hips reared back and slammed as deep as he could go. Cock impacting her cervix with a force that had tears finally flowing, her hands turned to claws in the wood. Barely aware of the ceramic shards digging scratched furrows into her belly as he rocked her over the broken pieces again and again.

Eventually, he released her neck and everything came back online — including the full impact of his fierce thrusts. Karissa whined, turning her head to the other side to see the Alphas wearing pained expressions, clearly worried as they inched forward, but their cocks tented their pants all the same. Another sharp stroke and she hated the surge of slick that welcomed him, that brought a thrum of pleasure to buzz along confused nerves unsure which signals to send. None, half, all?

Her body chose all, and her brain felt fried from the ricochet between agony and ecstasy.

  “MORDEK! Listen! She can’t take—”

A roar cut Parel off, loud enough to make the table vibrate under her, and she watched the male shudder before he buckled to one knee. Grimacing, twitching, growling as his vibrant green eyes met hers. He shook his head, mouthing two words, ‘Be still.’

As if she had any choice?

Mordek grabbed her hips and hauled her backwards, her toes struggling to maintain purchase on the floor as the fragments of the plate cut her in a stinging slice. Her weak cry was lost in the next feral snarl as he pulled his dick free.

“Stop, brother,” Halyrion begged, voice as soft as she’d ever heard it. His eyes on her, not his Alpha, he clenched his jaw and took a pained step forward. Mordek instantly stepped away from her to face Halyrion, snarling until the massive male swayed and stumbled back a pace, frozen once more.

The momentary distraction was a gift though. Allowing her to prop up on an elbow and move the ceramic shards away. Delicately, she pressed a hand over the blood on her abdomen. Stinging, painful, but not deep. No pieces in the thin cuts. Her cunt pulsed, already sore and bruised, yet still somehow mourning the emptiness. Ridiculous. Growling, she braced on the table to stand.

“Karissa, wait!” Parel’s panic made her still, and she turned to look at him. The male who ran hot and cold was trying to move forward despite the sweat coating his skin and the tremble in his muscles.

Mordek huffed, snapping his teeth at Parel before his black gaze found her again. Teeth still bared, the growl rumbled in his chest, making a mockery of her pathetic attempt. Yet, fear and fury snaked together through her bloodstream as she felt her lips pull back from her teeth — and then she heard Zeke yell, “Don’t challenge him!”

Another shout was lost to the chaos as Mordek grabbed the back of her neck once more, vertebrae grinding as he shoved her back to the table. Buckling weak arms without even a grunt of effort. Fingers immediately traced through the slick still dripping, summoned by his growls, his scent, and her own body’s defense mechanisms as she braced for him to fuck her again. But it wasn’t his dick that entered her, it was those thick digits. Two, then three, teasing her tender pussy until she shuddered, sighed, and gave up fighting the controlling hold on her neck.

Finally, a moment to breathe, to try and find relief in the teasing pleasure, and then those massive fingers slid free, dragging abundant slick towards her ass. “NO!” she shouted, but his massive hand pinned her easily as he pushed one digit past the tight ring that had never been breached. A strange, burning stretch that made her stomach clench.

She whined, trying to twist free of the iron hold… useless. All she could do was gasp, cry, whimper as he worked that finger in and out before adding a second with enough force that her back bowed in pain despite the paralyzing grip.

“Get Jeden! NOW!” Halyrion roared, and someone moved. Heavy, stumbling footsteps towards the door.

“Mordek, don’t do this. She doesn’t understand.” That was Tinves. Too close, and Mordek shoved a third finger in as he roared. Pain lanced through her, tightening her muscles until everything narrowed to the throbbing pulse as her ass tried to adjust. No choice but to adjust.

No choice. No choice. No choice.

The rumbling buzz in her chest from his end of the bond felt wild, ragged, and she wished she knew anything to affect it. Then the vice-like grip on her neck was gone, letting pain surge in where a fuzzy blankness had lurked.

“Please,” Karissa begged, gasping in relief when his fingers were pulled free. But it was short-lived. His cock slid deep into her cunt again, drenched in slick in a handful of thrusts before he pulled out, and she knew. Knew what he meant to do, and panic took over. “NO!” she screamed, weak, ineffective.

Mordek caught her hips, bruising as he held her still, and with a single twitch of his powerful hips he forced the thick head of his cock past the barrier of tense muscles.

Pain. Pure agony that was so vibrant her body tightened and made it all the worse as he pushed forward again with a depraved, hungry growl.

She dissolved into sobs as he thrust. Voices were shouting, but they stopped with the next roar, and it was useless anyway. Nothing was making it past the ringing in her ears as he slowly sawed his way into her body, forced into submission from the torturous stretch.

“Please…” she croaked, trying to reach back to stop his hips from driving forward again, knowing it was useless even as her fingertips brushed his shirt. Another yelp as he slammed deeper, bringing a new wash of torment, and then Mordek’s massive hand captured her wrist and used it as leverage to push his monstrous cock deeper into her ass. Blinding, body suddenly limp in the shock of it, she could barely cry out as he withdrew.

Then he slammed forward again, a wail escaping her throat as his hips finally made contact.

Mordek roared, grinding against her like a claiming mark born of pain and blood. She could taste copper in her mouth, unsure if it was her lip or her tongue bleeding because she could have bitten either one. Both. Impossible to think clearly when every breath seemed to make her body throb around the flesh buried too deep, filling her beyond what she was capable of comprehending.

He thrust hard, her back muscles unable to fight the intrusion anymore, and she screamed. A guttural, raw sound quickly cut off by hands wrapped around her throat from behind. Fingers dug in, a high-pitched hum ratcheting even higher in her ears as she clawed at his hands, but his grip only tightened.

More pain as he rocked in and out, a knot growing that made the deepest strokes birth a new agony as he forced the early bulge in and out — but lights were popping as she closed her eyes. Lungs burning. Darkness encroaching like a night come too soon. An apocalypse. An ending.

And all she could think as even the pain ebbed behind the buzzing black was that she would do anything to stop it.

  Submit. Serve. Obey. Anything.

Then, without warning, there was air. Ripped through a sandpaper throat, and she had no stren
gth to hold herself up as Mordek disappeared from behind her. Muscles past the ability to respond, Karissa slid from the table to the floor. Weak and delirious. Landing on her side, it took a moment for her brain to process what she saw.

Jeden on top of Mordek, straddling his chest, landing a punch, and then another as his knees pinned massive biceps. Halyrion caught his Alpha’s wrists to keep him from Jeden. Then Tinves and Parel tackled his legs as Mordek fought, bowing off the ground even under their mass. A roar shook them, but it was Zeke who she couldn’t take her eyes off of as he planted one knee in Mordek’s stomach and began to work the massive shaft of his Alpha’s cock. Up and down, fast enough to blur the movement.

  Impossible.

That one thought filled her mind as her vision flickered. The black tugged at her, pulling her under, sinking her past the pain and the impossible vision of the pack pinning their Alpha — but in the dim she heard Jeden’s voice, all of their voices roaring the same words.

  Never again.

  Never again.

  Never. Again.

  Chapter Three

  Alishair

Watching Jeden carry the female into his room was eerie. The massive male was curled around the small female Omega, cooing in her ear as he purred. Then the other Alphas crowded in after him, Mordek at their heels, until Alishair had no place to stand except the corner. They looked like they’d gone to war… with each other. Bruised, bloodied, and sporting more than one black eye. Injured or not, their large bodies bumped tables full of fragile glass, chemicals that he would have stowed had he known their plans, but there was no way he could say a word.

Raw tension bled off of them in waves. It made the air sour with fear, guilt, panic, and worst of all possession. Each of them had claimed her, even if she had yet to claim them each in return. Their eyes were glued to her battered body, and she looked fragile against Jeden’s chest as he laid her down on the only bed.

  His bed.

Of course, it was the only bed in the building that didn’t stink of a male that might make any one of them go feral… just like Mordek had. So, it was for the best.

Jeden whispered to her continuously, one arm draped just below her breasts, until Halyrion tugged at his shoulder. Eventually he pulled away, standing watch as the others touched her bruised hips, the bloody marks on her stomach, her side. Donvin was the one to brush the dark marks at her throat, and he leaned close to whisper something in her ear before he stood.

Mordek never moved closer, lurking near the door like a massive shadow.

Eventually, they filed out one by one until it was only Jeden and Mordek standing inside his room, taking up more space than he had to offer.

“You will help her,” Mordek grumbled. A command, without any of the power inherent in his position behind it. From a lesser male it might have been a plea.

“Yes, Mordek,” Alishair answered, inclining his head. When he looked up, both Alphas were staring at him intently. Dark eyes and pale green.

“Tell us what she needs, and she will have it. No exceptions.” Jeden had definitively made it a command, something he wouldn’t have argued anyway.

  “Of course, sir.”

“Keep the Betas out. I’ll send Donvin, or Parel, if she needs a guard.” Mordek tore his eyes from the female, staring at the floor. “If she asks… explain. As best you can, Alishair.”

He nodded, muscles tense from the burden of her care, knowing it could be his life if she turned on them all and shattered the bonds they’d formed. Even with a good pack like this one, things could still go wrong. It didn’t matter how calm the Alphas were now, how tempered their rage for the moment, with an Alpha it was always a breath away.

That was a lesson he’d learned early.

And it was something he could only hope Karissa had learned.

“Keep us up to date,” Jeden demanded as he opened the door and stepped out, waiting in the hall for Mordek to follow, which was a strange shift in the dynamic of their pack. The fact that Mordek dropped his eyes from her once more and followed his second into the hall just confused Alishair all the more.

As the door shut, he felt like he could finally breathe. Dick straining the front of his pants, he ignored the erection that would fade as soon as their scents had and walked over to the female. Somehow it was worse, and also exactly as terrible as he’d imagined when she’d first thrown his door open in her panic. Mordek’s roar had soaked them both in fear, both of them instinctively knowing the threat, but she didn’t know how to act.

Didn’t know the rules… and apparently he was supposed to help with that.

Help fix the mess their Alpha had made of the new Omega female.

Muttering under his breath, he walked to the sink and flicked on the tap so it would start to warm. Then he dug out the first aid box that was severely diminished after he’d tended Niken. The Beta had been worse off, but he was also stronger.

“Fuck…” He looked at the female and didn’t know where to start, still worried that one of the Alphas would return and break his arm just for touching her, but this was his role tonight. Swallowing down his fears, he grabbed a washcloth and dipped it in the warm water, deciding that he needed to clear the blood before he could decide what the hell came next.

It had taken time to clean and bandage the shallow cuts on her abdomen, and the bite over her ribs. The repeated mating bite on her shoulder was mangled, and he’d done what he could to clean it and cover it in antibiotic ointment and dressing for the first time since she’d arrived days before. Still, there was no avoiding the scar that would eventually form. A permanent mark that made his own shoulder twitch in envy and pity. Then he’d applied an ointment to the bruises on her throat, hips, wrists, and thighs. She was a network of pain before he’d even summoned the balls to part her thighs.

The soft whimper that broke past her lips made him freeze, one hand on her knee, and his eyes flicked to the door waiting for an Alpha to burst in.

One, two, three heartbeats later and he managed a breath.

Her slick soaked the air, tinged with copper, and he frowned at the tinge of red he could already see. The Omega’s cunt had handled their Alpha’s feral rut with minimal damage, but even with the preparation their Alpha must have done with her ass to avoid severe tearing… there was still blood. Alishair stood to gather warm water again, emptying pink water down the drain to refill.

Rinsing the cloth, he returned to her and balanced the fresh bowl of water on his lap. Moving one of her legs to drape off the side of the bed, he ignored the sounds she made as he adjusted her other leg wide so he could work. Gentle strokes of the cloth to remove dried slick, blood. He tried to move the cloth softly, but there was nothing gentle about touching the raw, reddened flesh.

Karissa writhed, whimpering, almost waking, and he was tempted to use one of the drugs to put her into a deep sleep — but he didn’t have permission for that. If he crossed a line it would be his blood soaking a rag, and no matter the urge to help the female there was no disobeying the Alphas.

“Shhh,” he cooed, attempting a purr to try and soothe her as he continued to clean. Mordek had attempted to ease his entry, that was clear, but what was strange was the lack of seed.

Grumbling under his breath, he stood to rinse the rag and pour the tainted water down the drain. As he draped the cloth over the edge of the basin, he heard her shift on the bed, turning to find her curled into a ball on her side. Violet hair across her bruised cheek, he realized he’d missed that damage when he’d been applying the ointment. Washing his hands, he gathered it and crouched beside his bed to nudge her hair back so he could spread it in gentle strokes. It was as he was applying a second layer that her pale purple eyes opened, flickering with dense lashes before she jerked back from him and yelped loudly.

“Hush!” Covering her mouth with his hand, he froze, fear thrumming through him as he tried his best to keep her quiet without scaring her. “Please, don’t cry out. You’ll bring them back and you
re not ready.”

Her eyes welled with tears, and he slid his palm from her lips as she bit down on a cry, curling tighter as she began to sob. To her credit, she was almost silent. Hiccups of breath, soft groans with intermittent sniffles, and Alishair sat back to give her space.

He’d been there, with no one to explain or understand.

“I’m here, Karissa. I’m like you. I understand.” Reaching for her hand, he held on, feeling the strength in her grip as she continued to cry. “It’s okay. You’re safe. You’ll be just fine.”

“Not. Safe.” The words came out between sniffled breaths, and he felt her fear, smelled it on her, and he didn’t know what to say to help her. No Omega was safe, not really, and he wasn’t going to argue with her and lie. Instead, he just leaned forward with his other hand and trailed it through her hair. Something that had always soothed him, although it had rarely been offered.

“I’m here, okay? I’m here.” Swallowing his own feelings, he gave her everything he’d ever wanted. Gentle touches, the comfort of a hand only seeking to help, a purr that he hoped made a difference.

Eventually, she seemed to cry herself out. Sniffling and sighing her way into silence, and he sought out her empty lavender gaze. When she finally met his eyes, he smiled, purring as loud as he could, but she flinched. “Please, don’t…”

“What?” he asked, pulling back completely, but she caught his hand, entwining their hands once more.

  “Don’t purr. Please.”

Confused, he stared at the female who seemed more at ease without the purr, and he kept the rumble from his chest even though the urge to calm her was even stronger. “Okay… why don’t you want me to purr?”

She curled tighter, knees and legs covering the vulnerable places he’d already seen as she answered on a whisper, “They always purr.”

  “They’re trying to help.”

“No… it’s… it’s all wrong.” Eyes clenched tight again, more tears rolled over the bridge of her nose, and he could smell the sadness emanating from her. It was crushing. Enough to overwhelm the vague tinge of blood, and his own fear of how the Alphas might react if he really interacted with her.
