by Lauren Runow
Tessa, I'm a man of control. I seek it because I don't handle the unexpected well. But with you, everything is unexpected. You make me break habits and step out of my comfort zone. You turned me into a damn stalker. I can't believe you gave in.
This is our first Valentine's Day so don't be surprised if by the time you read this ridiculously long text that I'm standing at the reception of your salon with a coffee and a muffin. You may be mine but I'll never stop courting you. Wooing you, making sure you know you're loved.
But before I go, a Valentine fact for you…
Every Valentine’s Day, the Italian city of Verona, where Shakespeare’s play took place, receives approximately 1,000 letters that are addressed to Juliet.
Happy Valentines Day.
See you in five.
Bryce
LOVE LETTER FROM TANNER
Harper,
I was going to paint you a picture but I've done that many times. I've created the likeness of you on the night we met, recreated the moment we said our vows and - my favorite - drew you sitting by the window with your hands laying protectively over your belly.
I've showed you in many ways how I see you but this Valentine's Day I'd like to tell you how I feel.
You say the night we met took you out of your shell but it wasn’t only you. I was lost. Not knowing what my future should be. Every arrow was pointing for me to move back to San Francisco but there was something holding me back, something in my gut kept me in New York. I know deep down my time there wasn’t finished.
After I met you, it all made sense.
I was waiting for you. You were the last piece to my puzzle. The muse I was looking for and I can’t thank you enough for following me into the subway.
Love you with all my heart,
Tanner
