“Now, you elven freak, it’s time for you to talk to me,” Kai says, her voice laced with seriousness. “I can sense you, you know. I want to know all your dirty secrets.”
Right. I knew this would happen. We’re bound. We love each other. There can’t be any secrets between us.
So, I start talking.
When I finish my story, Kai’s cheeks are bright red and her breathing turns into panting.
“Are you sure?” she asks.
“That’s all I know.”
“What a fucking mess.”
“Your father should know.”
“This is serious. Like really serious. He should know, no doubt.”
“I didn’t know what to do, so I just watched.”
“Like Talia and Micah and Adva.”
“Adva is a different story. She’s hiding something. But, Talia and Micah ? Yes, we decided not to alter the timeline more. It’s dangerous.”
“I know. But, look, maybe there is a reason for all of us to be here in one compound. It’s like we’re building an army.”
“Kai, don’t say that.”
The meaning of her statement must have hit her hard because her face turns white and her hands shake.
“Fuck,” she says.
“Fuck.”
“But, it’s going to be alright?”
“Yes, it’s going to be alright.” I kiss her lips. “I promise, you’re safe with me. Always. I love you and only that matters.”
“I love you too.”
We’re strong. We’re a family. We’ll smash our enemies and we’ll always protect our women and children.
I’ve waited for my happiness for so long. I’ll kill all the archangels to protect my wife and my baby if needed.
“I can hear you,” Kai murmurs. “I can fight too.”
“You’d better spread your legs for me, you nosy little mermaid.”
She pats my nose and chuckles.
I graze her chin. “When the baby is born I want to buy those things humans call sex toys.”
Kai purrs with excitement.
I love my wife. I love her excitement.
“And what are you gonna do with those sex toys?” she murmurs as her fingers close around my hard cock.
“I’m gonna stick them into your holes, make you cum and then I’m gonna fuck you raw.”
“I can’t wait.” She pecks my chest. “Love being your wife.”
I kiss her lips and shake her off.
I’m going to speak to Kadmiel.
A memory wavers in my head—a unique and powerful guardian visited my village and convinced all the elves to join him. They set off to fight evil, disappearing in the explosion of white light.
Heather travels with such an explosion.
Right. I think I’ll have a chat with Heather too.
