Unchained Beauty (Deadly Beauties Live On Book 5)

This was a hard one to write, because the serious elements tore me apart. I had promised to write a Dice chapter in this book for all the fans who didn’t get to vote in the poll when I originally plotted this series to find out who got a book of their own.

Fortunately, that chapter came at the perfect time, because my nose and eyes were raw from all the tears I shed while writing this.

It was such an intricate story that I spent forever going through any tedious contradictions and plot holes to present the best possible book I was capable of to finish a series that has been dear to my heart.

Due to the fact I wanted the journal to be a twist, there was a lot of information to give without a lot of information dumps, and I tried to break it up so it wasn’t just page after page of detailed information shoved down your throat. I introduced things slowly, and took my time to do it, which made the book a lot longer than I originally planned.

This is why I never have dates in advance. I let the books run their course without restricting the word count or lengthening the word count. I essentially just write the story the best way I can with however many—or few—words it takes to do it.

From the very beginning, I knew that Slade had loved Ella more than anyone had ever loved a person. I had to forget that. I had to forget everything he was doing, even when I was inside his head, which was hard to do because I couldn’t store my inconvenient memories into a journal, though I admit I was tempted to give it a try.

Paranormal has always been close to my heart, because you can do anything. There are no limits. And there can be so many unexpected twists along the way. I really hope I gave you a few surprises that you loved or dropped your jaw on.

I’m a sadist, so please let me know if you cried. I love making people cry for any reason. <3

Reviews are always a huge help, even if it’s just a couple of words. Good or bad, the more reviews a book has, the more people will see the book in searches and such. And I love reviews because I like hearing how readers reacted to the book—good or bad.

I might have cried more in this book than everyone simply because I hate ending a series. It’s like finishing a chapter in my own life, because I live these emotions. I feel what I write, and I do all I can to pour it into the pages with the hopes that I evoke the same emotion when it’s read.

It’s almost heartbreaking when a series ends, because of that very reason.

They become real instead of just the characters in the books.

Anyway, I’ll cut this short since I’ve started rambling. I think Tonya just yelled squirrel from across the lake because she somehow knew I was rambling while writing this. (Feel free to ask her what that means. Bombard her with questions. Drive her insane if you feel like it.)

Thank you all for reading the Deadly Beauties. You know I love you. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
