With a deep laugh, Max tugged Kit toward the doorway. They had plenty of time for kissing, now they weren’t pretend boyfriends any longer. They had all the time in the world to explore the reality of their relationship. Kit was certain they would lay down some heavy music between them.
“Aida is playing in two weeks,” Max said. “I’ll get us a couple of tickets. If I can sit through your band, you can sit through an opera.”
Kit groaned. “Talk about incoherent screeching. I hope you’ll loan me those earplugs.”
