Kevin had just enough time to widen his eyes before he suddenly found himself pinned to the bed. Lilian straddled his hips, her hands gripping his shoulders, pushing the majority of her weight onto him, keeping him from being able to sit up. Even her tails had decided to get in on the action, and were wrapped tightly around his legs like some kind of furry bondage gear.
“W-what the heck?!” Kevin started to struggle, but it was too little, too late; he was already trapped. His body shook and writhed within the emerald-eyed beauty's grip. His hips bucked and jerked in his attempt to throw her off. None of it worked. The girl wouldn't budge. It was almost like…
Enhancement! She's using enhancement to strengthen her muscles!
“Lilian, let go of me!”
“No,” Lilian said concisely. “I'm not getting off. I want to have my fun, and since you won't ravish me, or even kiss me, ufufufu…” Her creepy laugh caused tendrils of fear to worm their way into Kevin's gut. “I'll just have to be the one who fuels our unearthly lusts and unbridled passion.”
***
“What lust?! What passion?! The only one feeling that way is―eep! What the heck do you think you're―eek?!”
“Ufufufu, did you like that?”
“No, I did not like that! Stop it right now!―eep!”
“Don't worry, Beloved, there is plenty more where that came from.”
“Dang it! I already told you I don't like that―eek!”
“Ufufufu, doesn't this make you feel good?”
“NO! I am not feeling good! I am so not feeling good right now!”
“It looks like I need to step up my game then, ufufufu.”
“Step up your―what are you―are you licking me?!”
“Do you really need me to answer that question?”
“What? I mean no! I mean stop licking me!”
“Ufufufu, don't worry, I may be inexperienced like you, but I learned from the best. Kotohime told me that all men like this.”
“No they don't! We don't like this at all! AND STOP LICKING ME THERE!”
“Ho? Are you sensitive here? Ufufufu, how cute.”
“OH MY GOD! YOU'RE BITING MY NIPPLE! WHY ARE YOU BITING MY NIPPLE?!”
“Ufufufu.”
“AND STOP LAUGHING! THIS ISN'T A LAUGHING MATTER―EEP!”

In the apartment directly below the odd duo, there was a young woman.
Her name was Woman A. She was a very plain-looking gal, this Woman A, as one would expect from a background character who wouldn't even rate a proper CG if this was a video game.
Woman A had been sleeping peacefully in her bed when loud shouting from upstairs reached her apartment and woke her up with a start.
“EEK! Dang it, Lilian! Get your hand out of my pants!”
“Ufufufu, why? There’s nothing wrong with a little intimacy between mates.”
“We’re not—oh! Ah! Un!”
Since then, Woman A had been forced to stay awake, listening with a face that looked like it might spontaneously combust at any moment, as the pair above carried on with their antics.
“Ufufufu! See? You like this.”
“I do not like it! I am not liking this at all―yeek!”
“So you say, but I know you secretly love it when I do this. You're just too shy to admit it.”
“No, I'm not—h-hey! L-Lilian! Don't tell me you're―no! Stop! DON'T!”
The loud sound of clothes tearing echoed around her room with ominous finality. Woman A would have wondered how such a sound could be so loud, as well as how it could echo so ominously, but she was too busy trying to keep her face from exploding to really think about it.
“MY PAJAMAS! That's the sixth set you've ruined! At this rate, I won't have any more left to wear!”
“That's fine by me. If you have nothing to wear, then you can start sleeping naked.”
“Never!… Still, I suppose I should just be glad that you haven't destroyed any of my boxers…”
“Oh my, you're right… ufufufu. Maybe I should correct this oversight right now.”
“You wouldn't!”
A moment of awkward silence. Several crickets chirped in a most annoying manner.
“Okay, you would. But don't! I need those boxers! I don't just wear them to bed, you know!”
“Like I said, if you don't want me to keep tearing your clothes off, then you should just sleep naked.”
“Not happening―gya! Dang it, Lilian, would you stop doing that?!”
“You say that now, but I'll convince you to see things my way. Now then, let us begin this chapter by letting our unrestrained lust for each other explode! Ufufufu…”
“There will be no exploding of unrestrained lust here! And what the heck are you talking about?! Chapter five has already started!”
Another pause.
“Beloved…?” There was a tremor in the girl’s voice.
“Wait, what did I just say?”
A squeal erupted from above. Woman A tried to cover her ears to lock the noise out… and then remembered that her ears already were covered and started to seriously consider slamming her head against the wall. Maybe if she were knocked unconscious, she wouldn't hear those two anymore. Then again, maybe not.
“You just broke the fourth wall!”
“I did? Wait, the fourth what now?”
“Oh, I love you so much, Beloved! I just can't stand it anymore! Take me now!”
“Wha―hold on now! Don't act so―oh! Oh no! Lilian! Don't!”
“Yes, that's it! Ufufufu! Make me your woman, Beloved!”
“I have no intentions of―Oh! OH!!”
“That's it! Yes! YES! How do you like that!? HUH?! DO YOU LIKE IT?! DO YOU LIKE THAT, BITCH?! WELL?! DO YOU?!”
A really, really, really awkward silence ensued after that.
“… Uh, Lilian?”
“… Too much?”
“… Just a bit, yeah.”
“I'm sorry, I guess I was experiencing one of those Out of Character moments. Or maybe the time has finally come to unleash my inner dominatrix or something. Strange. I didn't even know I had an inner dominatrix.”
“I hope to all eight-million Shinto gods that you don't have an inner dominatrix. And what the heck are you talking about?” Another moment of silence. “No, you know what? Never mind. I'm not even going to ask anymore.”
“That's probably a good idea, Beloved. At least for now. You seem to be doing better though. At least you're breaking the fourth wall. I’m sure that with a little more time and a lot more sex, the fourth-wall breaking force will be so strong with you that kitsune everywhere will be green with envy.”
“You know, I get really worried when you say things like that.” A pause. “And there will be no sex! Stop mentioning sex, dang it!”
“Ufufuf, now why would you be worried? This is a good thing.”
“It is not a good thing! And stop ignoring me when I tell you something that you don’t want to hear!”
The voices from above trailed off. After several seconds of silence, Woman A dared to hope that the two had finally stopped. She wanted to get some more sleep before going to work.
“Now then, let us continue where we left off.”
It was not to be.
“What? Continue where we―Wait! No! Lilian! LILIAN!”
And so Woman A sat there, her legs curled up to her chest and her face buried between her knees. Her entire body had managed to reach a shade of red that has yet to be cataloged by humans.
“HOLY SHIT! IS THAT YOUR TAIL!?”
“Did you just curse, Beloved? I don't think I've ever heard you swear before. Ah! Are you having an Out of Character moment, too?”
“NEVER MIND THAT! GET YOUR TAIL OUT OF MY BOXERS!”
Little did Woman A know that Kevin was being literal when he spoke of Lilian's tail. She thought it was just a euphemism of some kind, some sort of teenage slang to denote how talented the girl was at… whatever it was she was doing.

“LILIAN!”
It was going to be a long two hours.
***
Kevin had never been so glad to see the gates of Desert Cactus High School. He normally saw school as an obligatory nuisance, a necessary evil if he wanted to get into a good college and have a successful career. Now, school was very much a safe haven for him. So long as he was at school, Lilian couldn't do anything untoward to him.
No kissing. No licking. No pants-ripping.
That last one had become especially important to him. He had already lost six of his favorite pajama pants. He didn't want to lose any more.
After Lilian let go of his torso and hopped off the bike, Kevin followed suit and locked it up. The two then proceeded to class arm in arm. Actually, it was more like Lilian clutched Kevin's right arm to her chest. Of course, that was merely semantics that only Kevin believed mattered, and no one actually cared what he thought, so it didn't count.
“There it is again,” Kevin muttered, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk. He and Lilian received a few curious looks from people walking by, but most seemed content to ignore them, save those few who were still enamored by Lilian’s beauty.
Lilian, having heard his muttering, glanced at her beloved mate inquisitively. “There is what again?”
“This feeling,” Kevin replied absentmindedly, his lips thinning in annoyance. “I have this intense urge to strangle someone, but I don't know why.”
“Hmmm.”
Lilian glanced at her mate in idle curiosity. She wondered what feeling he was talking about. And just who did he want to strangle? And why?
She really hoped that person was Eric. She didn't like him very much; he was just so annoying.
And speaking of people she would like to see strangled…
“Ah, there you are my Flor Preciosa. Long have I been waiting for the chance to see you again.”
Starting from the tips of her toes and traveling all the way up to the crown of her head, Lilian's body visibly shuddered. Kevin could actually feel the tremor as it traveled through her body, and even though they were hidden, he could imagine her tails and ears quivering in the same way. It was actually kind of a cute image.
It was also enough to make Kevin nearly slap himself in the face.
Dang it, Kevin, he thought. You need to stop thinking about Lilian like this! Sure, she’s pretty and nice and—no! He shook his head. Don’t go down this road, Kevin Swift. Don’t you dare go down this road!
He needed to think about something else. He needed to get his mind off the gorgeous redhead with her amazing body, succulent breasts, beautiful hips and shapely butt—
Kevin squeezed his eyes shut. Think about Lindsay. Think about Lindsay. Think about Lindsay. Lindsay in a bikini. His thoughts paused. His eyes glazed over. Oh… oh, that’s nice.
While Kevin went to his happy place, Lilian turned toward the source of the voice with a growing sense of dread. Kevin snapped out of his happy place when he was forced to turn with her. Two sets of eyes, one of emerald and the other light blue, landed on the young man who had spoken.
“You!” Lilian shouted, glaring at the boy in the Spanish bull-fighting costume. Kevin recognized the teenager. It was the one that Lilian had been having trouble with on Monday—there's no way he could forget that hair. And why was he still wearing that matador costume?
“I am glad to see you remember me.” The young man with the stupidly large pompadour haircut gave Lilian what he hoped was a suave smile, completely ignoring Kevin.
Kevin didn't know whether to feel insulted or grateful.
Lilian's glare intensified. She stared at the olive-skinned teen, attempting to burn a hole through him with her eyes. Oh, how she wished looks could kill. This boy would be so dead if they could.
Her eyes narrowed further as the boy—Juan something or other—stood there with an infuriating smile plastered on his face. Tension hung in the air, so thick that Himura Kenshin could've sliced it to pieces Hiten Miturugi-Ryū style. It felt like one of those old-fashioned, Samurai stand-offs. Kevin was almost expecting the two of them—or at least Lilian—to whip out a gun and start shooting.
“You!” Lilian's already narrowed eyes seemed to narrow further, the tension increasing around the trio. The air was so thick with the stuff that if anyone were watching, they’d see the bright golden aura of Lilian’s clashing with the muddy green of Juan Who-has-too-many-last-names. “You..!”
A tumbleweed rolled by. It blew between the trio. Kevin tracked its progress until it disappeared around a corner.
“The heck?” he mumbled.
“You!” Lilian's glare, which had been potent enough to melt metaphorical steel… dropped. “… Who are you again?”
Had Lilian not been gripping Kevin's right arm so tightly, he would have probably fallen flat on his face from the shock. Fortunately for him, she did have a good hold on his arm, and thus he managed to stay upright.
Juan What’s-his-face did not have this luxury. Too bad for him. He fell flat on his face, the pavement denting, a series of cracks like a spiders web growing from the point of impact, and his feet sticking straight up in the air, twitching erratically.
It seemed Kevin was not the only one that the face-faulting force was strong in.
Face-faulting. For when a facepalm simply wasn’t enough.
Juan recovered admirably from his close encounter of the face-on-concrete kind, though Kevin did notice that his features looked kind of like a pancake. They were flat and stretched.
Juan grabbed his face and pulled, somehow making his two-dimensional features look 3D again.
“How could you not remember me, my beautiful señorita? Do you not remember the beautiful moment we shared together? It was the other day that you bore your heart to me and I offered you my undying love and support.”
Lilian tilted her head to the side. Meanwhile, Juan looked at her hopefully.
“You remember now, si?”
“Hmm…” Lilian's nose scrunched up cutely as she tried recalling the moment this boy spoke of. Her face cleared up a second later. “Nope!” she replied cheerfully. “I don't remember that happening!”
Cue a second round of face-faulting from Juan.
“But it was just yesterday!”
“Are you sure you didn't imagine it?” Lilian asked. “Maybe you were having a strange dream.”
“Of course I’m not imagining it! It was just after school; you were standing there in the hallway, looking so triste, and I offered you my ear.”
Juan went off into his own little world, eyes glazing over in a look that sort of resembled nostalgia, only a lot more creepy. He stared off into the distance at something only he could see, hands clasped together almost like he was praying.
For some reason that was beyond Kevin and Lilian, sparkles surrounded Juan, shimmering in the air like someone had shot him with a glitter cannon. They didn't know why. He wasn't a Bishounen, or a Mahou Shoujo. At least they really hoped he wasn’t a magical girl; a magical transformation of that nature would’ve been disturbing, even with the censorship.
“It happened exactly as I had foreseen; that moment when you were troubled, and I offered you my aid to help ease the pain you were feeling.”
Kevin and Lilian could only watch on, a bead of sweat running down the left side of their faces. The boy ignored everything around him, including the people that were pointing at him and whispering to themselves. Or laughing at his hair, which flopped and jiggled like Davin Monstrang's six chins. Juan's body also began undulating, almost as if he were boneless, which shouldn’t have been possible with an anthropomorphic body.
“You told me of your troubles and desires, and I bore witness to a side of you no one else had ever seen before.”
He unclasped his hands and brought the left one to his chest, closing his eyes as a small smile appeared on his face.
Kevin stared at the boy with increasingly wide eyes. He didn’t know everything that
had happened between this fellow and Lilian, but he doubted the picture being painted was accurate.
This kid… just how delusional was he?
“It was a truly beautiful thing, a memory that I shall cherish until the end of time.”
Lilian poked her lower lip with her index finger, tilting her head with an introspective expression.
“You remember now, don't you, mi bella flor?” Juan implored the girl, looking at her. His eyes were shining, literally, like two stars on a clear night sky.
It was all kinds of freaky.
A small tic mark emerged on Lilian's forehead while her right eye twitched in obvious agitation.
“You know, if you're going to give me compliments in another language, don't use Goongare Translations to get them. They're never accurate.”
“Wait.” Kevin interrupted before Lilian could continue. “You've never been to a mall, you've rarely gone out before coming here, and they don't have computers or any form of advanced technology beyond basic household appliances where you grew up, so how come you know what Goongare Translate is?”
“Hmm.” Lilian pondered the question. “This must be one of those plot holes that people are always talking about.”
“Plot holes?”
“Oh yes, there are tons of plot holes all over the place if you know where to look.” Lilian pointed at Juan. “See?”
Juan twitched.
“Wait, how is he a plot hole?”
“Just look at him? How could he not be a plot hole?”
Kevin looked at Juan… and then slowly nodded. “I can kind of see your point. I mean, anyone with hair that looks like it belongs on a Yakuza must be a plot hole.”
“Oi!”
“Exactly.” Lilian’s sage-like nod was accompanied by a smile.
“Still, I’m sure his appearance will be explained later on somehow.”
“Of course.” Lilian’s chuckle sounded almost condescending. “Isn’t that how these things always work?”
“Would you two stop ignoring me!” Juan cried out.
“Also, I still don't remember that happening,” Lilian snapped, continuing her original tirade. Juan face-faulted for a third time. “The only person I would ever bare my heart to is my Beloved. Not you.” She gave the boy with bright blond pompadour hair a mockingly cheerful smile as he climbed back to his feet.
