Mad Passion Page 7

Tyree was still trying to figure out what it was that she had said exactly. He had laid his heart out there and she threw it back in his face. Was it too late to have something more with her? he thought. He vowed to himself that he wouldn’t give up. He just needed to pursue her in earnest. Having some kind of game plan, he lounged on the couch and finished off the bottle of wine.

Breakfast was ready and Tyree was sitting at the breakfast bar waiting on Mad to join him. He knew she was an early riser like him, but she hadn’t made an appearance yet. Another ten minutes had past when he decide to check on her, so he left his untouched meal and went to find her. What he discovered, was Madison bent over her bathroom toilet, emptying her stomach.

Immediately going to her side, he asked, “Are you alright?” She shook her head and waved for him to leave, but he refused her demand. “I’ll help you.” Rubbing her back as she finished heaving, he murmured soothing words in her ear. When she was done, he gently picked her up and carried her to her bed. Once she was snuggled under the covers, he retrieved two wet cloths, one for her mouth and the other for her face.

“Ty, just leave me alone,” she begged as he started tending her.

“I can’t leave you like this babe,” he stated as he wiped her face. “How long have you been sick?”

It seemed as if she wasn’t going to answer him when she said, “It’s only in the mornings and it’s only been for about a week. I think I might have a bug or something.”

Tyree was looking at her wearily. “Mad, do you think it could be something else?”

“Of course it could be something else,” she answered exasperated. “It could be a virus or the flu. Who knows?”

Taking a deep breath, he asked her if she could be pregnant. When she looked at him like he’d lost his mind, he gripped her hands. “When was the last time you had your monthly?” He watched her as she concentrated. When the look of astonishment entered her eyes, he said, “You could be pregnant.” Although, inside he was bursting with joy, he didn’t let it show in his mannerism.

“But that’s not possible. We’ve always used protection.”

Squeezing her hands, he explained, “We did until that last time—when I walked in on you after your bath.”

“But—” she took a breath, then continued, “I can’t be pregnant. It’s just—” Not able to finish, she closed her eyes and laid back on her pillow.

Understanding that she needed to adjust to the possibility of being pregnant, Tyree kissed her forehead and left her room. He entered his room and paced back and forth. Damn, I’m gonna be a dad. He smiled at the thought, because he knew that Mad hadn’t had sex with Fabian yet. Thank God. The joy he felt was overwhelming. He wanted to scream at the top of his lungs, to grab her and make her accept him. So many things were bubbling inside him, pleasure, fear, love. He knew that this changed so many things for him. Not only would he have to up his game to convince Mad of his love, but he had to make sure she and the baby were always first. He just had to be patient and let Mad come to terms about what this meant for them.

  Chapter Fourteen

Leaving the doctor’s office, Madison was armed with prenatal information, vitamins, and a heart full of doubts and fears. She had convinced Tyree to let her come here alone. It wasn’t easy, but he finally agreed as long as she would come straight home and let him know. He was more anxious than she was, but now that she was sure that she was pregnant, she couldn’t pin down what it was she felt exactly.

When she entered the house, Tyree was standing in the hallway waiting for her. He saw that she carried paperwork and a bag from the doctor. Stepping up to her, he wrapped his arms around her and held her as she started crying. “I can’t be that bad, Mad.”

She pulled away from him. “Yes it can. I’m pregnant and I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about it.”

He pulled her back into his arms. “It’s okay, baby. I’m with you every step of the way.” He nuzzled her neck, feathering soft kisses along her throat and collarbone. “To be honest, I’m happy with the news.”

Madison jerked her head back, bumping him in the chin. “Are you really?”

Seeing the vulnerability in her eyes, he understood her fear. “Mad, I love you more than you could know. It’s not just sex, but something deeper.” He kissed her parted lips briefly. “I can’t imagined anyone else I would want to carry my baby.”

Although she saw the truth in his eyes, she still had doubts. He could be just trying to make her feel better about their situation. “I’m sorry I got pregnant, Ty. I had always used birth control, but with everything that has been happening with Ron, I completely forgot about it. I know I should have started again when we first had sex, but—I don’t know.”

“Mad, stop it.” He grabbed her hand and led her out to the garden. “I was the one who didn’t take precautions the last couple of times. I just wanted you so damn bad.”

They sat on the bench closest to the house, thinking about that night many weeks ago. She turned to face him and said, “I know you have your career and a baby isn’t something you need right now. I—”

“Don’t,” he interrupted. “I want this baby Mad. Almost as much as I want you.”

The look of shock on her face was so adorable, that he could not keep from kissing her. He grabbed the back of her head and took her mouth in a scorching kiss. All the joy, passion, love, and hope he felt, he poured into that kiss. What started out as a declaration, quickly escalated into raw need.

Unable to stop himself, and not really wanting to, Tyree lift her off the bench and straddled her across his lap. The dress she wore, rode up her thighs, making it easier to play with her sex. He pulled her panties to the side, and slid a finger into her moist heat. When she moaned and started moving against his hand, he withdrew his finger. Before she could make her disappointment known, he’d undid his pants and slid them down to his thighs. Lifting her slightly, he maneuvered the head of his cock to her entrance. Pulling her down swiftly, he entered her fully. Closing his eyes, he savored the feel of her tight cunny wrapping around him.

Madison eyes opened as he entered her and she saw the pleasure written on his face. She loved sex with him and knew she’d never want another man the same way. Her thoughts scattered as she slid up and down his swollen shaft. Matching him thrust for thrust, she quickened her pace as she shattered into a million pieces.

However, Tyree wasn’t finished. He wrapped an arm around her waist and stood. When she grasped his shoulders, he pumped into her harder. Watching her face closely, he immediately recognized her expression, she was about to cum again. Knowing that it wouldn’t be too long before he exploded, he pulled out of her.

Madison almost cried out from being denied, but the wicked look in Tyree’s eyes told her that it wasn’t over. He put her on her feet and turned her to face the bench. Bending her over, he said, “Brace yourself.”

She had just enough time to place her hands on the bench before she felt him enter her from behind. It felt wicked and delicious all at once. He began fucking her like it was the end of the world and this was his last fuck. He was pounding into her relentlessly and she marveled in it. She threw her ass back to meet him with each pump. The only sounds in the garden were of skin slapping against skin and their heavy panting.

Tyree watched how Mad’s ass jiggled with per panties partially covering it. Wanting to see nothing but skin, he gripped her panties in both hands and ripped them from her body. He didn’t know if it was the view of her ass or the sound of her ripping panties that did it, but he erupted right then. His nut was so explosive, that it took a minute for his spasms to completely end.

When they were both breathing a little easier, he pulled out and grabbed her around the waist to pull her against his chest. “Damn, Mad. I love everything about you.”

Smiling, she said, “You just love my sex.”

He kissed her cheek and went about making them more decent. “Let’s go eat. Then you can tell me everythin
g the doctor said.” He picked her shredded panties up from the ground and put them in his pocket. When she gave him a questioning look, he stated, “A memento. I want to remember this always.”

  Chapter Fifteen

Madison wasn’t happy about what she was about to do, but she knew it had to be done. She had called Fabian and asked him out for lunch. He deserved to be told that she couldn’t see him anymore face-to-face. After talking with Tyree the day before, she had agreed to an exclusive relationship with him. She wasn’t sure if it would work, but he convinced her to try—for the baby.

Sitting down at a table in Shea Shea’s café, she ordered some lemonade while she waited for Fabian to arrive.

“Well, if it isn’t little Miss Homemaker.”

Looking up from scanning the menu, Madison met the angry eyes of Monica. “Hello, Monica.”

Ignoring the greeting, she said, “You know Tyree will be mine again, right? I mean, what would he want with a nobody like you?” Leaning closer she continued, “He’ll get tired of you real quick. And then when he returns to me, he’ll remove you from his house and then his life. I’ll be the one to wear his ring.” Before Madison could reply to her warning, Monica was walking away laughing.

She knew Ty was trying to do the right thing for the baby, but what if he do become tired of her? What if—”

“Are you daydreaming?” Fabian sat down across from her smiling. “You look like you just bit into a lemon. Something wrong?”

Focusing on him, she tried to smile. Now comes the hard part.

Tyree was just leaving the studio when his cell phone rung. He answered, “Hello?”

“Hello, Mr. Michaels. It’s Officer Burke.”

“Oh, hi Officer Burke. How are you doing?”

“I’m good.” He hesitated, then cleared his throat. “I was calling to inform you that Ronald Black was bailed out.”

All at once Tyree’s world stopped. He wasn’t scared of Ron, but Ron was a danger to Mad—and their baby. “When did he get out?”

“Around ten this morning,” he immediately replied. “I just wanted to give you a heads up in case he reveal himself to you or Miss McKinsey. A restraining order may be in effect, but they don’t always deter people.”

Looking at his watch, he realized that Ron had been out for more than seven hours. “Thank you for letting me know.” He hung up and rushed to his car. As he slid in behind the wheel, he dialed Madison’s cell. Only getting her voicemail, he began to really worry. Shit. Please let them be safe, he prayed. He started the car and sped out of the parking lot, heading home.

Madison was putting on her pajamas when Tyree ran into her room. Seeing the look of relief on his face, she smile. “Did you think I ran off with Fabian?” she teased.

Walking up to her, he hugged her tight. He had imagined all types of ways Ron could hurt her and the baby on his way home. Letting out a breath he hadn’t known he was holding, he said, “I was so worried about you when you didn’t answer your phone.”

“Why would you be worried?” she asked against his chest.

He pulled away from her so he could see her face. “Officer Burke called me to let me know that Ron was out.” She grew pale at his words, and he picked her up and walked over to the bed. Sitting down, he cradled her on his lap. “It’s alright. I won’t let anything happen to you and the baby.”

Madison was only half listening to his declaration. She was thinking about what Ron would do if he saw her again. He had spent many months in jail and she was sure that he would want to punish her for it. She naïvely thought that he was completely out of her life. When her divorce had been finalize shortly after he went to jail, she hadn’t thought about him too much. She started shivering thinking about what could and would happen when he saw her.

“It’s okay, baby. I’ll make sure that he can’t get close to you.” He kissed the top of her head. “We’ll just have to be careful until my lawyers can put him behind bars for a long time.” Stroking her arms, he leaned back against the pillows and continued to reassure her.

When she felt that her nerves were a little more steady, she said, “I know you will watch over us, Ty. I’m just—scared of what he might do to the baby when he finds out that I’m pregnant.”

“I’ll kill the son-of-a-bitch if even gets close to you.” Knowing he meant what he was saying, she remain silent. No point in arguing about it. She closed her eyes as she gave herself up to his warm secure embrace.

At that moment, Ron was sitting in his car across from the gate of Tyree’s house. He came here to see his wife—ex-wife. He couldn’t believe that she actually divorced him while he was locked up. Hell, it was her fault why he was there and he mean to make her pay. First, he would enjoy her body, then he’d make sure no one would ever want her again. He wasn’t so stupid to believe that she wasn’t fucking that nigga. No man in his right mind could pass up a piece like that.

Looking down at the knife he held in his hands, he smiled. The things he wanted to do to her were not going to be pleasant for her, but he will enjoy every minutes of it. Starting his car, he drove away thinking about the future and what he was looking forward to doing. He’d be patient. They probably already knew he was out, and would be prepared for anything he might do. Yeah, he’ll wait. And then, she would be where she belonged—with him.

  Chapter Sixteen

Within the last five months, things had settled down. After not hearing anything from Ron, Madison and Tyree had relaxed their security, only keeping a small number of guards around the clock. Whenever they left the house, they took at least two guards with them.

Because their relationship had blossomed into something neither one of them could have fathomed, they were married secretly in the Bahamas three months ago. At the beginning, what Monica had said to her made her doubt Tyree’s feelings for her, but he had proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was madly in love with her—and she with him. Monica didn’t become a problem, due to her moving to Paris with some model. Good riddance.

As Madison’s belly grew, so did Tyree’s anxiety. He was constantly making her lay down or put her feet up and she was sick to death of it. But if it helped to ease his mind, then she would bear it. For Tyree’s part, he was worried that something would happen and snatch his family from him at any moment. Just because Ron hadn’t made an appearance, didn’t mean that he wasn’t still a threat. He no longer had someone trailing Mad, but he always kept the gates locked, and refuse to be away from her for more than a couple of hours a day.

Today was a day that they were going to find out the sex of the baby, and Madison was excited. Sitting in the patient room with Tyree holding her hand, she impatiently waited for the exam to get underway.

“Mad, baby. Just wait a little longer for the doctor.” When she scowled at him, he laughed. “You’re practically jumping off the table.”

“I want to see the baby. I don’t care what we have, just as long as it’s healthy.”

Dr. Warren entered the room preventing him from replying. “I see the happy couple is ready to learn what they are having.” Moving over to the machine, he prepared everything with quick efficiency. “Let’s have a look at baby Michaels.”

When the screen showed them the image of their baby, Madison and Tyree both smiled. Listening to the heart as the doctor pointed out parts of the baby’s anatomy, a tear ran down her cheek. Nothing could have been more amazing than seeing her little baby moving around inside of her.

“If you look right here,” Dr. Warren was saying, “you can see that you’re having a girl. Congratulations.” Printing of a couple of pictures after taking the measures of fluid, he cleared up his mess. “From the looks of everything, I would say that everything is progressing well and your little girl will be here around July twenty-eighth.”

Tyree stood and shook the doctor’s hand. “Thanks. We’re ready to meet her.” Smiling at the couple, he congratulated them again and left.

“Oh Ty. We’re having a girl,
 Madison exclaimed.

“I know, babe. Let’s get you straight so we can leave.”

As they were leaving the doctor’s office, Tyree’s cell phone rung and he answered it. “What do you mean it Tony fucked up?”

To give him a little privacy, Madison walked down the sidewalk looking at some of the shop displays. As she stopped in front of an antique store, she spotted a beautifully crafted cradle. She waved at Tyree to let him know that she was going in, he nodded and continued to scream into the phone.

She was so enthralled with the craftsmanship of the piece of furniture, that she didn’t notice when Ron walked up behind her. “Hey wife.”

Spinning around so quickly, she almost lost her balance, but ended up grabbing hold of a shelf next to her. “Ron, what are you doing here,” she whispered as she scanned the store for an escape.

Glancing down at her swollen stomach, he growled, “Looking for you, of course. But I had no idea you were so big.” He stepped closer so that the other customers wouldn’t hear him. “I heard about your pregnancy from the tabloids, but I don’t think it will matter.”

Shaking with fear, she asked, “What will matter?” She figured if she could keep him talking and distracted, Tyree or one of the guards would be there soon.

“Us. I heard pregnant pussy was the best.” Accessing her form he commented, “I can’t wait to see for myself.” Before she knew what he was about, he snatched her by the wrist and started dragging her toward the exit.

“Let go of me,” she screamed. This brought everyone’s attention to them.
