  STRANGE DEATHS

  What a way to go!

  SILENT BUT DEADLY

A man whose diet consisted of nothing but beans and cabbage was killed by his own farts. One night, while he was asleep, the noxious gas he “created” hovered over his bed and became so deadly that he never woke up. The three rescue workers called to the scene got sick, too—one even had to be taken to the hospital.

  BLOWOUT

Children’s entertainer Marlon Pistol was killed when a 20-foot-tall balloon elephant that he used in his act suddenly inflated in his tiny car as he drove along a California highway.

  DRUMMED OUT OF TOWN

A Japanese man attempting to win the world record for nonstop drumming was stabbed to death by his neighbor, who just couldn’t take one more beat.

  HE PASTA WAY

When 150-mph winds hit chef Juan Ruiz’s restaurant in Mexico City, he was stabbed through the heart by a flying strand of uncooked spaghetti.

  THE LAST WORD

  And that’s final.

  POTTY ON, DUDE!

The queen of Pasadena, California’s annual Doo Dah Parade is flush with pride as she sits serenely upon her throne and waves to crowds of adoring fans.
