by Renee Harless

After a few more hours spent in celebration, we nod towards our family and friends and slip into the night, hand in hand, ready to test the limits of our control and trust, but always in love. A love that tested us, and tried us, but its power always prevailed. A love so strong that it could mend even the most shattered hearts.

  *The End*

Thank you so much for reading Stone Mended. I hope that the conclusion of Mallory and Alex's story met your expectations. I wanted them to get the story that their love affair deserved.

  Acknowledgments

I want to start off by saying thank you so much to the readers. Your love and curiosity truly made this series what it is. I love these characters and I was sad to conclude their story, but Alex and Mallory will live happily-ever-after in my heart, and hopefully yours too! I write for me and then I re-write for you. You, the readers, mean more to me than you'll ever know and I am truly humbled by your support.

Thank you to all the bloggers and reviewers that have taken the time to read The Stone Series. I appreciate your critiques and praise. Even when you haven't enjoyed the story or writing, I can't thank you enough for taking the time to read it.

There aren't enough words of praise to send to everyone that has supported me in my writing these past few years. It's a hard task to have the confidence to write something out and then take the chance to have it published. If it wasn't for my friends and family, my untitled manuscript would most likely continue to sit at the bottom of my filing cabinet. Thank you for giving me the confidence to put my work out in the world.

Finally to my husband; my amazingly handsome, sexy, and talented husband that, without you telling me "just do it," I never would have sat down to a computer and let this story unfold. You always encourage me when I struggle and praise me when I finish a story, chapter, or sentence. It's not easy being married to someone working a full-time job and writing novels in her down time, let alone raising our amazing kids. You make it easy to sit back and let life happen and to do what makes me happy. So thank you for being you and for bringing me glasses of wine. With those two things I can conquer the world.

  About the Author

Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas- yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing Sister Sister if requested. In high school she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.

To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her toddlers around the house, working her day job, or writing, she delves head first into a romance novel.
