"My dear friend gave it to a long time ago and I will never stop wearing it."
"Was he nice?"
"Yeah. He was one of the greatest men to ever live." Isidore says. "I owe him my life."
"I want a friend like that one day."
Isidore rubs his son's hair and smiles. "I'm sure you will, Dmitri."
"I love you, Daddy."
He kisses Dmitri's forehead. "I love you too. Get some sleep, okay?"
"Tell me a story." Dmitri says as he yawns.
"A story?"
"One about the wasteland."
Isidore smiles as he smoothes the little boy's red hair. "Okay. Once upon a time, there were four men with special powers who escaped from prison and had all kinds of adventures in the wasteland . . ."
