THE STRAGGLERS PROTECT Page 15

by Misha Anderson

“You meant that I make you happy, just like you make me happy too.”

  And she kisses me.

“A lot,” another kiss on my cheek.

“Too much,” and she nibbles my chin.

  “Fucking too much, Damy Boy.”

I never heard Sam cussing, ah! You are so audacious, Miss Samantha, I’ll have to put you in “good behavior” again.

I get up suddenly and pulls Sam by her feet, taking her out of bed, she squeals thinking my attack is funny and I raise her from the floor. She wraps herself around my neck and wraps her legs around my waist. I walk to the bathroom, holding her ass and showing her that the Vaugh attack is spot on, I nibble her curve of her neck and her shoulder, putting my face between her breasts.

Grrrrr, I can’t resist the delicious feeling of nibbling the soft flesh of my favorite prey. I put Samantha down, sitting on top of the sink and I quickly remove her large shirt, making her naked, I take off my pijama bottoms and I’m also naked. She looks me sideways and I open the shower, wait the water to warm, Sam wraps her legs around me again and the potent jets of water do their work, relax our muscles and make our body slippery, hummm perfect!!! As soon as Sam touches the floor, I drag her by the waist against the wall. She says no with her little finger when she realizes my “pure intentions” and warns me:

“No way, Sheriff Vaugh, if you want to do what you intend to, we won’t leave this shower soon, turn around, I’ll rub your back.”

I turned around pouting like a needy boy, I may convince her of making out in the morning, just a little?

Sam puts some liquid soap on the palm of her hand and rubs my back, from my neck to the bottom of my back, then she turns me again and washes my chest, taking a torturing time on my chest, my nipples are hard already and she casually takes her hand to my abs, narrowing her naughty eyes she at last envolves her small hand around my penis.

She pets my thigh for me to spread my legs wider and with one hand she washes my balls, making them even heavier, with the other hand she slides it up and down my penis, in a mean rhythm, really perverse.

  “Fuck, little bunny!”

  “Shh, it’s just a shower, I don’t know why you’re so excited.”

Excited? Wow! There’s no way I can get harder, why does she do that to me? Ah, Sam, when I get you, I’ll get you so hard you’re going to ask for mercy.

“Ouch, Sam, you’re going to leave me like this, love?”

Sam bit her lips, innocently shrugging, this woman is becoming a teasing shrew, and the worst thing is I really like it.

“And what you want me to do, Damy?”

I pushed her shoulders down making her knee, but naughty as she is she said no, telling me to say it out loud.

“Say it, Adam, say what you want.”

I squeezed her hips, saying at last, what I need her to do with me.

“I want your little and pink mouth around my cock, your warm tongue licking me, sucking me till it fucks with my mind. That’s what I want, Sam, you sucking me so good till I can’t stand it no more and cum on your breasts. Are you going to give me this pleasure, Samantha?”

Sam nodded, kneeling in front of me.

“I’ll do it the way I know you like it.”

I closed my eyes tight when I felt Sam’s mouth licking me slowly, checking me out, teasing me, running her tongue on the veins of my hard member and when Sam took it whole to the deep end of her warm throat, I surrendered and let myself be taken by her delicious exploration.

Sam did what she wanted to do of me, my legs where trembling out of control, I buried my fingers in her hair so she wouldn’t move and I thrusted my hips forward, fucking her mouth in a rhythm I knew it was going to be my doom. A shiver ran through my spine to my penis, strangling my balls and I grunted in pleasure when I spilled hard and strong on Sam’s lips and her little breasts.

Sam licked the semen out of her lips and before I could think about taking her or giving it back to her some of the pleasure she gave me, she got up and threw me out of the shower, teasing me:

“Not now, later you’ll give me what I want, Sheriff Vaugh.”

“I’ll give it to you, love, everything you want.”

I wrapped a towel around my waist and Sam finished her shower, brushing her teeth under the water and washing her hair, when she got out, I was on the bed, with my legs still trembling by the strength of my orgasm. Fuck! Sam finished me off! That’s what I get from being almost 36 and falling in love with a girl... Now you take it, Adam.

Sam opened my closet and took it out a brown jacket, she put it on, she searched the drawers and found a single pair of cotton panties she had forgotten, put those on and said while she combed her hair.

“Adam, when you took me from Kelly’s I only had the outfit I was wearing, now I need to get back there and get my things.”

Get back there? Alone? And if her friend Kelly try to convince her that I’m not worth it? And if Kelly shows Sam that she’s been wasting her time living with a bunch of grown up problematic dudes? Better not! I’ll go with her, I say it out loud without even noticing.

“No, not alone! I’ll go with you, call Kelly, ask her to leave your suitcase ready, I’ll take you there so you can get your things and if you need something else, there’s no problem, I’ll buy it.”

Sam didn’t argue, well, now that’s got to be a miracle!

“So, let’s go, because I still have to change before going to work.”

I got dressed quick, got my gun and held Sam’s hand, going to the living room. Only Connor was up, he hid something when we got near him, Sam looked at me curiously, but I wasn’t surprised, I’ve seen him leaf through that photo album enough times. It’s Jessica photo album, his dead fiancee.

He puts a pillow on top of it and give us a weak smile, discreetly drying a tear with the back of his hand.

“Good mor... morning, you two wo... woke up ear... early.”

“Good morning, I need to take Sam over to Kelly’s so she can get her things.”

  Connie nodded smiling at Sam.

“Th... that’s right, Da... Damy, and y... you girl, ar... are y... you al... alright?”

Sam goes to the couch and kisses Connie’s cheek, joking with him.

“It’s alright, and you? Still crushing girls hearts?”

  Connie looks at Sam sorrowful.

  “Oh! I wi... wish.”

We say good bye to Connor and on the way, Sam calls her friend Kelly, when we get to Kelly’s, I waited in the living room and Sam went to the bedroom, she got out wearing skinny jeans, boots and a gray sweater. They talked a bit and even though she looked at me weirdly, Kelly was polite and made Sam promise that if she needed to be back she would.

When we got to Mathews, John came by to bring me coffee as soon as Sam went to the kitchen, he discreetly showed me two men sitting on the corner.

“Today it’s the fourth time they have come here, always sitting on the corners, watching everything around. Today they got here before you two, the guy on the right asked Mary about Samantha.”

I looked sideways at them, analyzing their movements, they weren’t from here for sure, being sheriff of a small town has its advantages, I know the people from here very well, these two guys are outsiders and by the way they are behaving, I can tell that they are cops.

Samantha returns in her uniform and brings a tray with coffee and cream, grilled cheese sandwich and raspberry muffin that I love.

I thank her for breakfast and she excuses herself to go over the table with the two guys that John has pointed out. The dark haired guy, who looks hispanic, says something to Sam and she sits down, with a tense posture.

The second guy, white, red hair, looks Irish, he points a chair to Samantha and she sits down like he told her to.

Before I can figure it out what these guys want with Sam, I get up and go to their table.

  “Samantha, is everything alright here?”

  The hispanic looking guy says:

>   “We only had a few questions for her, nothing much.”

I stop him showing him clearly that Samantha is mine.

“I’m sorry, but I’m talking to my fiancee and who are you to ask her questions?”

  Samantha stutter the words says:

“Th... they say they are FBI.”

The Irish looking guy introduces himself, making sure of his interest in asking Sam questions.

“I’m Quentin Taylor and my partner is Hector Lopez, we’re FBI and we’re investigating about a robbery at Center Bank Hall, a New York bank. We want Samantha to cooperate and to come with us for an inquire.”

I stopped Taylor raising my hands.

“Wow, hold on a second, what evidences you have that are really concrete for Samantha to leave here with you two and go to New York?”

Lopez raises his deep voice speaking loud:

“You hold on, it’s best for you and her to take it easy, all we want are some statements, we’re here just to have an informal chat. I suggest you don’t interfere with our investigations, if the defenseless girl needs so much support, we can get a lawyer to accompany her during the statements. Tell us, Samantha, how long has it been since you last saw Igor Kedrak, a few months or has he been visiting you without no one knowing? Who was the brain behind the robbery, you or him?”

I sit down crossing my arms to the FBI agents.

“I’ll tell you, Mr. Taylor, it’s a good thing I’m not really up to assumptions, I’m the sheriff of this town and I tell you that Samantha will only leave here with you two when you have concrete evidence of her involvement in this crime, I said concrete evidence and not assumptions, till then she stays, I hope you have understood.”

Lopez provoked me, I close my fingers in a fist, tight, not to give in my will to break his shitty nose.

“I want to see what the magistrate will say when he finds out his sheriff is dating the main suspect of a robbery like this.”

I lean over the table, salivating for punching these motherfuckers in the face.

“I think you’re done here for today, Samantha has nothing to say, unless you show it legally that’s something relevante to ask, if you could excuse us, Sam, please, go back to work, dear.”

Samantha got up, with her eyes wide opened nodding, and went to the kitchen. Taylor huffed and when he was about to start arguing with me, Lopez holds his arm and signals him to leave. Taylor threw a 10 dollar bill on the table, provoking me:

“We’ll be back, sheriff, I suggest you hire a great lawyer for your girl, she’ll need it.”

I got up the table, holding the anger inside that was about to blow up.

“Like I said before, I don’t really like to hear assumptions, specially from people I don’t know. Don’t bother Samantha if you don’t have anything important to say, excuse me, be good.”

Taylor and Lopez went away bringing me to the edge, I’m about to blow up in anger, frustrated for not being able to protect my Sam from these guys, I know they will circle her like vultures, but next time I’m going to be prepared, I won’t allow anyone to scare Sam, even if for that I have to hire the best lawyer in the county, or run away with her if I have, to protect her.

  CHAPTER 20

  SAMANTHA THOMPSON

It’s hard to admit that the feeling of being protected, scares me as much as it comforts me. I left home really young, I always had to get by on my own from a very early age, so all this interaction with a man that opens his arms to me and protects me from danger is a new experience in my life.

Since the investigators Taylor and Lopez are after me, following my steps, Adam accompanies me everyday to Mathews.

Sitting in a corner table at the bar, investigator Lopez laughs at the irony of me arriving with Adam another day.

“Well, well, if it isn’t waitress Samantha and her new nanny arriving to work. From what I can see, things at the police station must really be dull, isn’t it, Sheriff Vaugh?”

Adam locks his jaw in anger and in seconds his serene face transforms in a furious tempest. Before he can do something stupid, I hold his hand and turn my face so I can see him.

“Damy, please, look at me, what they want is for you to slip. That will be enough. They’ll do everything to make you angry and to harm you with the magistrate, so don’t do what they want.”

Adam stared at me frowning, his jaw was tense like a hard block of concrete.

  “Open your hand, Sam.”

I opened my hand and he gave me a cellphone.

Without taking his eyes off mine, Adam said in a lower voice than what he was used to, a clear sign he’s about to break these guys faces.

“When you’re about to finish your shift, call me so I can come and get you, don’t go out alone, it’s not safe, alright?”

  “Alright.”

  “Are you sure?”

  “Sure of what, Damy?”

  “That’s alright?”

I gave out a deep sigh and tried to control my face in a fake smile, to calm him down.

“I am, before I finish my shift, I’ll call you, I’ll be alright, Damy.”

Adam went by the feds table in a firm step, before he got to the door, Lopez said in a loud voice:

“We’ll take good care of your girl.”

Adam came back with the same stern step and got near Lopez grunting in his face:

“Why don’t you leave Samantha alone and look for someone of your size, I’ll wait for this day eagerly, Detective Lopez.”

And he turns around and goes away.

I went to the restroom, changed into my uniform and went to the kitchen, John was frying bacon, the rancid smell of bacon invaded my nostrils and I immediately wanted to throw up. I ran to the restroom and leaned over the sink throwing up the breakfast Damy made me have it.

I left the bathroom and went to the main room, Kelly came towards me and said while looks at me:

“You look terrible, Sam, what happened, are you alright?”

I give a weak smile while still holding my stomach.

“You could very well have lied and said that I looked great.”

“Geez, girl, that would really be a big lie, what’s up with you, Sam?”

“I don’t know, I think I may have eaten something bad or maybe there was something spoiled at breakfast today, you know how it is, right? A bunch of guys together, the last thing they check is the due date of food. It must be that, my stomach is garbage.”

The grease smell makes me sick again and I go towards the bathroom, raising the toilet seat to just throw up everything. When I wash my face, Kelly is right behind me, looking worried at me.

“You should set a doctors’s appointment, did you had your period this month?”

Period? I’m almost sure I have, but the last few days have been so stressing. I’m not sure but I answer right away:

“Of course I have, it was definitely the last thing I’ve eaten, that’s it, give me a minute, I’ll be right back to the restaurant.”

I took advantage of my lunch time, gathered courage and went to the drugstore to buy a pregnancy test.

The rest of the day went by calmly, during lunch time I pretended to eat a salad, tossing the leaves on my plate from side to side with my stomach in a turmoil and half an hour before finishing my shift I called Damy to come and get me.

We got to the ranch and the delicious smell of mashed potato filled the environment.

We got home, Kayden and Connor were in the living room watching a reality show.

  “Good evening, Kay, Connie.”

  “Go... good eve...even... evening, Sam.”

  “What’s up, Sam, everything alright?”

“Yes and you, was the day alright?”

Kay gets up and hugs Adam, asking him:

“Are you having to work a lot at the police station because of Portland’s anniversary party?”

“A little, we’ll need back up patrolling, check the town security, you know, same pain in the ass every year. Will t
he ranch of old Walter join in the party?”

  Kay nods pouting.

“The worst thing is that he decided to raffle a Day Use at the ranch, with horseback ride, and I’ll be the guide.”

“The Fi... Fire Fighter De... department will ra... raffle a gui... guided visit.”

Adam left his brothers in the living room and went for a shower, Connor went to his bedroom, leaving me alone with Kayden.

I sat by his side while we watched a TV program, till I noticed Kay was twitching his nose.

  “Samantha, get up, please.”

I got up without understanding what Kay wanted, he got near my stomach, sniffing it, deeply.

“What crazy business is this, Kay, why are you smelling me like that?”

Sometimes these guys are so weird, before I could complain and left his side, Kay held my wrist and said:

  “Does Adam knows, Samantha?”

  “Knows what, Kay?”

He looked at me and pointed to my belly.

  “That you’re pregnant, Sam.”

I deny it trying to get off his grip.

“No, Kay, you’re wrong, I’m not pregnant, I can’t be pregnant, where did you get this crazy idea?”

“Each one of us wolves were born with a sense, a sharper gift than the others, Adam is a great protector, few protect their pack like he does, Connie is a fantastic carer, Hunter an attack wolf and I, my friend, I’m the best tracker in the county, therefore if I’m telling you you’re pregnant, it’s because you are. I can smell it from a far Adam’s seed growing inside you, big and strong. That’s why I’m asking, when are you going to tell him?”

  “Are you sure, Kay?”

Kay nodded, he inhale deep at my belly and smiled.

  “Absolutely, Sam.”

I held my belly whispering to Kayden:

“For now I don’t want Adam to know, the feds are on my back, it’s a bunch of things, I prefer to wait a little longer, please, Kayden, don’t tell him.”

Kay got up, he was going to the porch.

“I hope you know what you’re doing, Sam, if you don’t disguise your scent very well, even though he’s not a good tracker, he’ll find out.”
