Riot Page 8

Ice felt her mouth latch on to his throat. Briefly, he thought she might bite him to get him to stop; instead, she sucked his flesh into her mouth, moaning.

He felt her wetness increase against his fingers and groaned at her response. It took every bit of his control not to pull out his dick and shove it inside her. Only the thin membrane his fingers butted against held him back.

“Baby, if you weren’t a virgin, I’d pound you into the wall.”

“You need to stop, Ice.” At the same time she was telling him to stop, she was pulling him closer.

“I’ll stop, but I’m going to give you something before I do.” His thumb ground against her harder and his finger pumped inside her faster. Adding another finger, he nudged her legs wider apart so he could sink them deeper inside.

  “It’s hurting, Ice.”

His mouth closed over her lips, giving her his tongue as his fingers thrust through her hymen, filling her as far as he could reach. His thumb gentled as he began rubbing between the fleshy lips of her cunt.

“Oh…Oh…” She managed to get the small sounds past his lips before he could cover them more tightly.

Thrusting inside her faster, he made her ride his fingers through the storm he could feel gathering. He pressed his hard cock inside his pants against her, letting her feel what she was missing and needing, teasing her with the sensation of what she couldn’t have. Then, with a final swirl of his thumb, she came against his hand.

He controlled her, not letting any screams pass to alert the men on the other side of the door that he was getting the woman they had fantasized about off. When he felt her trembling slow down, he stepped back, letting his hand slide free.

Ice wiped his hand on his prison pants. “I’m going to smell and taste like you for the rest of the day.”

Her face turned bright red as she fumbled, trying to button her blouse.

Ice moved her fingers out of the way and pulled the sides of her bra forward before snapping it then buttoned her blouse despite her trying to knock his hands away.

“Finished?” She turned toward the door as soon as the last button went through the hole.

  “For now,” he mocked.

She spun back around, careful on her injured foot. “Forever!”

“Baby, mouth off to me one more time, and you’ll find yourself bent over that sink and I’ll be fucking that pussy from behind while I turn that ass as red as your face.”

She stood looking at him, her mouth opening and closing several times before she turned in a huff and went out the door, hobbling with as much dignity as she could, as if she was the Queen of fucking Sheba.

Ice followed her back to the table, leaving her with a small pat on her cheek, which she tried to smack away. He had gotten his point across. The teacher’s body was going to become used to having his hands on her. She was going to find their roles reversed; she was the one who would be schooled in keeping him satisfied.

He went to the doorway, looking down the hallway to see Fade crouched in front of the cell door.

  “Any good news?”

Fade looked at him, grinning, and then got to his feet. “Ask and you shall receive.”

He opened the door wide, and the man inside took a step outside the cell door.

  “It’s about fucking time.”

  Chapter 11

“You’re welcome,” Ice returned sarcastically. The little twerp, Yo-Yo, was acting like they had taken their own sweet time. “You’re the one who landed in solitary for doing Church’s dirty work. Don’t blame us because you’re his bitch.”

Yo-Yo started to shoulder his way past Ice, but Ice reached out and grabbed the man by the throat, pinning him against the cell door.

“You’re my bitch now, and you’re going to do exactly what I tell you. Do you understand me?”

  “Yes…yes.”

  Ice released him.

Yo-Yo held his neck, glaring at Ice. “I’m going to tell him. My cousin won’t be happy with the way you’re treating me.”

“Don’t make the mistake that he actually gives a shit about you. He only paid me to get you out of here because you’re family. He didn’t want to see you sliced up because you’re related to him. He doesn’t know you’ve taken care of yourself by being Church’s bitch.”

“Quit calling me that!” The little fucker actually looked affronted. “He gets out next month; what was I going to do then?”

“I’m sure you would have found someone else to protect that ass of yours.” Ice’s snide comment had Yo-Yo’s hands clenching at his side.

Ice cut him off before he could say anything else. “Go get something to eat.”

Yo-Yo left, leaving Fade and Ice staring at his back.

“I can’t believe that piece of shit is related to him.”

“I can. Unfortunately, you can’t pick your family.” Ice wished he had never agreed to take this job. The only reason he had been compelled to take it in the first place was because of the money he had given him in advance.

Gert, a woman who had been at the clubhouse longer than any of the men, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. While her bartending job provided insurance, the work she’d missed had made her behind in her house payments. She hadn’t even told the club. If she hadn’t confided in Vida, his brother Colton’s wife, the club wouldn’t have known until it was too late. The advance from him had been used to pay the past-due amount and had paid off the mortgage.

In hindsight, he wished now he had taken the loan Colton offered, but he hadn’t expected Grace to enter the picture. Now, he was not only responsible for getting his brothers out of this mess, but a woman he had no business being attracted to.

She sure as shit had no clue about the type of life he led and had no intention of changing, but she had her own demons to deal with. If he were an honorable man, he would have let her go already and never seen her again. Nevertheless, he wasn’t an honorable man, had never been one. He had never done the right thing, and he wasn’t going to start now when he could lose the best thing he had ever found.

“When are we going to make our move?” Fade asked.

“First thing in the morning. Tell the men I’m going to get a few hours’ sleep.” Ice left Fade, walking toward the table Grace was sitting at with Max. Jackal was leaning on the wall, facing the room beside the table.

She warily watched his approach. Ice almost grinned as the faint blush on her cheeks showed she was remembering what had happened when they had been alone.

“Let’s get some sleep.” He reached down and took her arm.

“I’m not sleepy,” she protested, trying to get away unsuccessfully with her foot hindering her. Ice stopped abruptly and picked her up in his arms, carrying her to their makeshift bed. He slid her down on the mat and before she could get up, he laid down next to her.

“I am.” His arm circled her waist as he closed his eyes. He felt her turn restlessly then eventually still.

He dozed off yet woke from the stiffness coming from the lower portion of his body. Grace had crawled practically on top of him. Her head was lying on his chest and her leg was thrown over his.

Ice looked up at the ceiling and counted. He hated being clung to by bitches. If they did it, they found themselves searching for another bed in the middle of the night.

It was everything he could do not to roll her over on her back, raise that prim skirt another inch, and plunge his cock into her tight pussy. Instead, his hand went to her thigh and slid upwards while at the same time, he rolled over until no one could see her past the chairs and his back.

His mouth went to her neck as his hand moved higher, tugging her panties out of the way. He found her clit and began stroking the bud until she became wet. She adjusted her hips, her breathing accelerating, and her leg slid over his hip as she moved closer.

Ice watched her face as she woke and realized what was going on. Her drowsy eyes filled with desire while she licked her bottom lip. Then realization hit, and she open
ed her mouth. Before she could yell at him, he lowered his head to cover her mouth with his. Giving her his tongue, he delved inside her mouth as his finger plunged deep inside her. Her slight moan had Jackal and Max both moving to stand in front of the chairs, blocking them further.

“Baby, I’m going to give you what you need, but you have to be quiet.”

He felt her stiffen and try to twist away, but he followed her, plunging another finger inside her and stroking her back into forgetting where they were.

“When I get you in a real bed, I’m going to fuck this pussy so much you won’t know what it’s like not to have me inside you. Every time you see me, you’ll get wet because you’ll know I’ll be in you in a minute. You’re going to give it to me, aren’t you?”

“No, I never want to see you again.” Her low answer angered Ice; however, her leg tightening around his hip and her hands running over the smoothness of his chest told her lie.

“You want my dick as bad as I want to give it to you.”

  “No,” she moaned. “I don’t.”

“Baby, you do.” He added a third finger and used one on the spot in her sheath that would drive her crazy. His hand went to her hair, pulling her head back so he could stare down into her flushed face. At that second, Ice almost lost his control and fucked her. She was at the point that she wouldn’t stop him, only the lack of a condom did. He never rode a woman bareback. Ever.

She stiffened under him as she came, not a sound passing her lips.

“That’s it, baby. Give it to me. Next time will be my turn.”

Her eyes widened and she pushed him, trying to jerk her body away from his. Ice let his hand leave her hot pussy to grip the top of her thigh, holding her still and letting her feel the wetness on his fingers.

“Don’t think you’re going to pretend I haven’t had this pussy. That shit don’t cut it with me. And don’t think I won’t have it again, because I’ll prove you wrong.” His hand gave a final squeeze before he rose to his feet.

He felt her eyes lower to his cock straining at the thin material of his pants before she turned her head away. Ice chuckled, moving away and going around the stack of chairs. Jackal and Max both turned to him, their expressions carefully blank.

“Let’s get this over with. I’m ready to go home.”

  * * *

Grace lay back down on the mat, curling into a ball. She was ashamed of her body’s reaction to Ice. It’s just sexual chemistry, she told herself over and over again. Her body had been frozen in limbo for so long it had jumped at a chance for release. She was a normal woman, and Ice had all the characteristics she found attractive in a man.

He was a traditionally handsome man like her father and brother, his rugged looks giving him a masculinity he shared with them. No one would accuse Ice of being metro-sexual; he was a man with a body and experience, which tugged at the femininity she had suppressed.

She felt ashamed of herself. She had no doubt she could have stopped Ice at any time, but she hadn’t. She had wanted him to touch her. Now, she lay regretting that decision with her whole being. He was a criminal, and when she did get out of here, she wanted no contact with him at all. Her family would have her committed if she introduced them to Ice.

Her rumbling stomach forced her up, and she saw the faint trace of sunlight coming through the window. Max had given her a cup of macaroni and cheese to eat last night, but now she was hungry again. She didn’t think much was left from the store that the prisoners had been steadily looting.

Max and Jackal were both waiting for her when she came from behind the chairs. She briefly wondered how long they had been standing there. From their blank faces, she didn’t think it had been long.

When she came out of the restroom after cleaning up, Jackal was waiting for her with a cup of coffee and another microwavable pastry.

“How…?” she asked, taking a seat at an empty table.

“Ice hid a few things for you. If you want anymore, let me know,” Max said, sitting down next to her and tearing into one of his own.

The other prisoners stood around the room, tensely watching them as they ate. Grace felt the pastry sticking in her throat, so she took a sip of coffee to wash it down.

  “I think they’re hungry, too.”

“Fuck 'em.” Max was unconcerned, finishing the one in his hand then opening another.

She looked up at Jackal who was standing at her shoulder. “Aren’t you hungry?”

“No.” Grace expected the terse answer; Jackal didn’t believe in wasting words.

“How come you have food and we don’t?” One of the prisoners dared to step closer and mouthed off to Max.

“Ice rationed the food out. It’s not my problem you’re a pig and ate all yours, Maddox.” Max pulled a can of soda out of his pocket and opened it at the gaping man.

Ice came to the doorway as Maddox reached across the table and tried to wrench it away from Max. Grace gave a small scream as the room became engulfed in fighting again. This time, when she was pulled from her chair, it was Jackal. He maneuvered her against the wall, barricading her from the fighting taking place. Grace could barely see over Jackal’s shoulder as she watched the inmates fight.

The prisoner they had freed from solitary knocked buzzard to the ground. Buzzard managed to get to his feet and knocked the man back before pulling something from his waistband. As the man rushed him, Buzzard stabbed him in the side. Unable to watch further, she buried her head between Jackal’s shoulder blades.

The next thing she heard was the sound of gunfire and voices yelling for everyone to drop to the floor.

“Let me go, Grace.” Jackal’s voice penetrated the veil of terror she was encased in from the violence that surrounded her. She hadn’t even realized she was clinging to Jackal’s waist. “Let me go!” Jackal’s voice was raised to be heard over the yells of the officers shooting anyone who remained standing.

“Get down and put your hands out,” a voice in front of them ordered.

Grace released her hold on Jackal, and he immediately lay down on the ground, spreading his arms and legs out.

There were at least fifty swat officers in the room, standing over the men with guns.

Frantically, she searched for Ice and saw two men standing over him. His eyes met hers as one of the officers reached down and cuffed his hands behind his back.

“Ms. Adrienne Graciene?” the officer asked.

“Yes.” Her voice sounded weak to her own ears. “Yes, I am.” Her voice strengthened.

  “Are you hurt?”

  “My ankle.”

The officer nodded then picked her up before jogging from the room with two others following behind and two in front.

Grace looked over her shoulder as they left the room she had been held hostage in. Ice kept his attention trained on her.

She had been to therapy for years after Winston and knew it was normal to feel this way after a hostage situation. She knew it would lessen over time as she regained her normal life. It still didn’t make it any easier when she lost sight of Ice as the officer ran through the steel doors that were open.

“Hostage recovered. Repeat, hostage recovered.” Grace heard his words. He was wrong, though. Part of her had been left behind.

  Chapter 12

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Her mother sat down on the side of her bed, fiddling with the pillows under her foot.

“I’m fine, Maman.” Her mother hadn’t left her side since she had been carried out of the prison two days ago. “I’m getting up today.” She had let herself be convinced to stay in bed and let her footrest. She had used the opportunity to escape her family’s questions by sleeping much of the time. Staying in bed another day wasn’t an option anymore, though, as she was becoming stir-crazy.

  “Darling…”

“I’m getting up.” She sat up and gingerly slid her feet off the bed.

Her mother stood up, handing her the crutches they had given her at the hospital where
they had told her she had a severe sprain.

  “Go slow,” her mother cautioned.

She got to her feet, placing the crutches under her arms. “Maman, I’m fine.” She brushed her hair back from her face.

  “I know, mon bébé.”

Grace winced, reminded of the times Ice had called her baby. She let her hair fall forward again to hide her expression as she made her way across the bedroom and out into her living room.

Her father and Dax were watching a football game. She sat down between them, taking the bowl of chips away from her brother.

“I thought you had to leave last night,” she asked Dax.

Her father and brother shared an inscrutable look.

“What?” she inquired, looking back and forth between them.

“One of the prisoners hurt in the riot escaped from the hospital last night.”

Her family all watched her reaction closely.

  “Which one?”

“J.C. Collins. They said the other inmates called him Yo-Yo.” Her father took her hand.

“I don’t remember which one he was,” she said truthfully. For a moment, she thought it might have been Ice.

“The police stopped by with a picture.” Dax got up from the couch and went to the small table by her door, picking up a picture. He handed it to her slowly, his face filled with concern.

Grace took the picture from him, frowning down at it when she recognized the face staring back at her. “He’s the one who was in solitary almost the whole time. Ice and Fade helped get him out. I saw Buzzard stab him.”

“Oh, my God.” Her mother grabbed her hand.

“He did it in defense, Maman. He was attacking Buzzard,” she defended the man who had taken her class.

“How do they get those names?” she questioned her husband.

  “I have no idea.”

“So, he would have no reason to seek you out?” Dax broke in.

  “No. Why would he?”

“That’s what I’m asking you. No confrontations with him? Nothing?”

“Nothing, Dax. He would have no reason to come here. I never said one word to him. You’re worried for no reason. He would be stupid with all the reporters sitting on the doorstep and the security you hired to keep them back.”
