I petted Charlie while Henry thought about my words. Then his hands flew, signing like mad. It taxed my concentration, trying to catch everything he was telling me.
“Can you stay for a while? Wait, can we cuddle and watch a movie? Oh, then can I sit on your lap and have a bottle?”
Oh, my sweet, adorable, needy Boy. “Yes, to all of that.”
Initially, we were going to talk about our weekend, but we could do that later. Henry needed me, and right now, that was more important.
“I would offer to make the bottle for you, but…” I pointed at his cat, which had Henry up on his feet, scampering away.
What is it with Littles running when they aren’t supposed to? Sighing, I scratched Charlie behind his ear. “Guess I’ll have to have a talk with your Daddy about running in the apartment. We don’t want him to hurt himself, do we?”
“Meow.”
“Yeah, I thought that you would agree with me, buddy.”
“Meow.” It looked like I was doubly blessed. Not only had I found myself a Little but also a furry friend.
Twenty minutes later, I held Henry close to my chest while he enjoyed his bottle. Charlie was fast asleep on his lap. Henry had offered to turn up the volume of the movie, but living with my sister made me comfortable with subtitles. Peter Pan was familiar enough. There was not much chance of missing much. But so far, I spent more time looking at Henry than the screen. It felt good to hold him and to hold his bottle for him while he petted Charlie.
When Henry finished his milk, I put the empty bottle on the sofa beside me. It was silly, but I didn’t want to disturb Charlie by sitting up to put it on the table. Henry beamed at me as if I had done the most important thing ever. Then he grabbed my face with his hands.
“You’re such a good Daddy to Charlie,” he whispered.
It amazed me to hear Henry’s voice. Henry was fourteen when he lost his hearing, so he learned to speak as a kid. Addy was born deaf. She was dependent on sign language and had never even tried to talk. My mom had told me once that she would love to hear Addy say Mom just once. Until now, I’d never understood why it would be a big deal. But now, as I heard Henry quietly say my name, I understood my mom’s wish.
“C-Caden?”
“Yes, Little Boy?”
“You were far away.”
“I was thinking about my sister and my mom.” Henry turned a little so he could read my lips better, and he started to sign again.
“You said that she’s deaf. Is it rude to ask if she was born deaf?”
“First of all, we’re getting to know each other. It’s ok to ask questions, and second, it’s not rude.”
“You always say that.” Henry giggled, and Charlie narrowed his eyes at us. Upset that we had woken him. After a moment, Charlie seemed satisfied that he had reprimanded us enough. He turned himself around until he lay on his back and went back to sleep. Because Henry was signing, it was up to me to scratch Charlie’s belly. I almost laughed when his purring got even louder. But instead, I concentrated on Henry again. It wasn’t fair to laugh about something Henry couldn’t hear.
“What do you mean?”
Henry giggled. “When you have to say something important, you always start with first and then second.”
I raised my eyebrows and thought about it for a moment. Then I laughed. “I guess you’re right. I’m a lawyer. I need to make my points.”
“And it’s such a Daddy thing, too.”
“You mean like first, don’t run in the apartment. And second, you’re such a good Boy, drinking all your milk?” Henry moaned and wiggled a little on my lap, but then he stilled again and looked at me.
“You don’t mind me asking questions?”
“Not at all, no. So, about my sister.” I searched for the remote and paused Peter Pan. “Her name is Addison or Addy. Addy is six years younger than me, and yes, she was born deaf. They found out when she was about eight months old.”
“So, she never knew the difference.”
“No. But you do, right?” Henry swallowed before he slowly nodded. “What happened?”
“Can we go back to the movie now?”
“I’m sorry if I overstepped.”
“I don’t talk about it. Ever.”
“It’s ok. You don’t have to.” There was something in his eyes that had me wondering what had happened to him. The brief flash of pain and fear. Nothing I wanted to see in my Boy’s eyes. Ever. “So, back to Neverland?” Henry just looked at me for a moment, but then he nodded. “Are you good like this? Do you want another bottle?”
“There’s a binky on the side table. Can you reach it for me, please?”
“Sure.” Reaching over to the table without dropping Henry or waking the cat wasn’t easy, but I was able to get it. Gently stroking Henry’s cheek, I nudged his lips with the binky, and he opened and began to suckle on it. “That’s a good sweet Boy. Now just relax and let Daddy hold you.”
“Thank you, Daddy.”
“You’re welcome, my sweet. Now let’s see what Peter Pan is up to.” I smiled at him, and Henry leaned into me. It took him a while to finally relax. Sighing, I closed my arms around him and just held him through the rest of the movie. At one point, Charlie hopped off Henry’s lap but came back moments later. Not on Henry but beside me, cuddled into my side and presenting me his belly. I caught Henry watching our interaction, but when I started to give belly rubs, he turned back to the TV with a smile on his lips.
When the movie ended, I turned off the TV, and I waited for Henry to turn towards me. He was still sucking on his binky, and his hair was rumpled. His big blue eyes watched me, but he visibly relaxed once more when I smiled.
“It’s getting late.”
His shoulders dropped, and I could see around the binky that he was frowning. “I know, but I don’t want this evening to end.”
“Me either. But I have to head home. I have an early meeting in the morning.”
“Ok.” Henry pulled out his binky and dropped it into his lap so that he could sign. “But are you…you’re coming back on Saturday to spend the weekend?”
How could I say no, when he looked at me so hopeful and needy? Not that I intended to say no. Nothing would keep me from this weekend.
“Yes, Little Boy. I’m coming back on Saturday Morning.”
“What are we going to do?”
It was a good question, so I thought about what I’d learned about Henry tonight.
“How about I come around nine to make you breakfast. After breakfast, I’ll dress you up for the day. Then you can play or color. After lunch, I’ll lay you down for a nap, then more playtime or maybe cartoons. Dinner, a bath, and after that cuddle time with a story or a movie.”
“Would you read me a story when you bring me to bed?”
“Of course. How does that sound? Sunday, we can play it by ear.”
“I love it, Daddy.”
“Great.” I leaned forward and kissed him on his nose. Henry seemed to like it when I did it at the Rainbow Room. No, I knew he loved it because his eyes lit up, and he smiled at me with such adoration in his eyes. “There are a couple of important things we need to talk about, though. But I want you to think about it before you agree to anything.”
“Ok.”
“I already told you that I don’t mind that you have to wear diapers. I want you to think about how you’d feel about me changing you. You can say yes, and you can say no, you can change your mind about it at any time. I just want you to think about it.”
Henry was quiet for such a long time that I started to worry, but then he slowly raised his hands. “I always dreamed about a Daddy doing that, but…it’s weird. It seems strange. The last time someone changed it for me, it was my aunt.”
“I get that. I do, that’s why I said think about it, and you can change your mind at any time.” Even if I wished he wouldn’t. For Henry to let me take care of him like that would be a dream for me. Henry was so in need of a Daddy that would take care of
him. I wanted to be the one doing it for him. “Just think about it, Henry.”
“Are you into…” Henry started to sign, but then he stopped and started to bite his lip while he blushed. Ok. That was an unusual reaction. I had to touch his chin to get him to look at me.
“Am I into what, sweetie?”
Instead of answering me, he just fidgeted with his fingers.
Hmm, interesting.
Suddenly I remembered Addy doing the same when she was too embarrassed to tell me something, so I switched back to signing. That way, he didn’t have to look at my face.
“Tell me, Henry.”
“I get that you like the caring part about the diapers, but what about…” Henry stopped and blushed before he pointed at my crotch. Ah, this was where his question was leading.
“Do you want to know if it gets me hard?” The blush turned into bright tomato red before Henry nodded. “Yes, Baby. I get sexually aroused by taking such intimate care of you. For you to submit and allow me to care for you is very arousing for me. What about you?” There were Littles who didn’t like things to turn sexual when they were in the Little headspace. Others liked it, so I wondered what Henry thought.
“I never had a Daddy, so I don’t know.”
“Fair enough. We’ll test the water as we go. If you like it, I’ll take care of that need as well. If you don’t, nothing sexual will happen when you’re Little.”
“When I’m Little?”
“Yes. Adult Henry can decide for himself how far he wants things to go. Deal?” That earned me another of his bright smiles and an eager nod. “Good Boy.”
“Ok, Daddy. I can’t wait for Saturday.”
“Me neither, sweet Boy.” I smiled at him and gave him another kiss on his cute nose. “Is there anything else you want to talk about, or you want to do before I leave?”
“Can I have a kiss?”
“Sure.” I knew what he meant, but I decided to tease him and kissed his nose again. “There you go.” Henry stared at me open-mouthed, and then he took my face into his hands and pressed our lips together. Oh, my needy Little can be bossy, too. I let him take the lead and kissed him back, but I kept the kiss chaste, no matter how much Henry teased me with his tongue. As I pulled away, I smiled at him.
“Now, you got your kiss. Do you want me to tuck you into bed?”
“No, I have to set the alarm when you leave.”
Alarm? Right, yes. When we’d entered the apartment, Henry had not only opened a lot of locks, but he’d disarmed the security system as well. Henry paled, and his hands flew through the air as he realized what he just said.
“I mean. I would love that, but I have to set the alarm.”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. I get it. You need to feel safe.” This time, I kissed him on his sweet lips and just hugged him for a moment before I pulled back again. While I waited for his eyes to focus on me, I pulled out my business card. “Here. You can write or text me at any time, ok? I may not answer when I’m in a meeting, but I will, as soon as I read your message.”
“Thank you, Daddy.”
“You’re welcome, Little Boy.” With one last kiss, I gently sat up. Henry huffed but got up as well. Charlie hissed at me, and I bent down and scratched his ear. “Don’t worry, buddy, I’ll be back this weekend.” Henry must have caught what I said because when I stood up, he smiled at me.
“Thank you for being a good Daddy to Charlie, too.”
“You’re welcome. Charlie is a cute cat.”
“Yeah, but he had a hard life.”
There was that pained expression again, and I wondered if that was a reason Henry had adopted the cat. Because they had so much in common? Both of them had a rough start to life. But after a moment, Henry smiled at me again. Obviously, the bad memory was forgotten or pushed aside. Henry led me to the door and pushed the button for the old industrial elevator. I turned so I could look at him.
“Are you ok like this? Will you know when I’ve left to set the alarm?”
“Yes, there’s a camera. I can see you leave the building.”
“Good.” I smiled and tucked away my worries. Why did he have enough security to rival Fort Knox? I mean, he lived here on his own, and it was an empty factory after all. But the security was still a bit over the top. However, I shouldn’t complain about it when it made Henry feel safe.
“Thank you, Daddy.”
“Good night, my sweet Boy.” Gently I stroked his cheek and bent to give him another soft kiss. “Make sure to activate the alarm when you see me leave and head straight back up.”
“Yes, Daddy.” Henry smiled as if I’d just given him the most important order of the world.
“Do you have work to do, or are you heading straight to bed?”
“I need to work on some editing.”
“The typical writer’s life? Stay up late and sleep in?” Henry blushed, and when he shrugged, I knew that I was spot on with my guess. “I’ll still come over at nine on Saturday. But if you work late Friday, you’ll need to have a nap after lunch.”
“Will you stay with me? During my nap, I mean?”
“If you’re a good Boy, I’ll lie down with you, read you a story, and give you your bottle.”
“I’ll be the best Boy.”
“I’m sure you will.” I kissed him again, and this time I stepped back. “Now, go and get your editing done so you can go to bed.”
“Good night, Daddy.”
“Good night, Little Boy.” It was hard to turn around and leave, but I had to. It was getting late, and I had an important meeting at eight. As the elevator closed, I smiled at him. My sweet Boy smiled back and waved happily. God, I was already head over heels for him, and I couldn’t wait for the weekend.
Chapter 5
Henry
After Caden left the night before, I’d tried to get some work done, but it was useless. The events distracted me so much that I didn’t get a single word written or edited. Around midnight I gave up and went to bed, where I cuddled my stuffie, drank my bottle, and dreamed of Caden. Since I had such a good night's sleep, I was awake before nine in the morning. Caden was right. My typical routine had me in bed around four or five in the morning and got up sometime around midday. It was my usual rhythm, and a writer’s life as Caden had called it.
A picture of Caden popped into my mind, and it made me smile. Charlie sat with me on the island in my kitchen, and I fed him bits of my yogurt. What would Caden make me for breakfast? He seemed like the kind of Daddy who made waffles or pancakes with fruit. Caden made sure that I had eaten my salad last night because I needed something healthy. Frowning, I looked at my fridge and then my phone. Scrambling off the high stool, I grabbed Caden’s card off the refrigerator and quickly typed a message.
Henry: Do you want anything special for the weekend? I need to order groceries today to have them delivered tomorrow.
I hit send and waited, then reread the message and added a bit of information.
Henry: This is Henry.
Caden: I know it’s you, sweet Boy.
Henry: Hi.
Caden: Hi there yourself. You’re up early.
Henry: I went to bed after you left and had a good night’s sleep.
Caden: That’s good! You have breakfast yet?
Henry: I was just having some yogurt with blueberries when I thought about you. I wondered if you would make me waffles or pancakes this weekend, and then I remembered that I need to order groceries today, and then I thought about seeing if you wanted anything special. So, I just wanted to know so I will have everything you may need or want.
Damn. Maybe that was too much chatter. But instead of deleting the message, I sent it. Double Damn. What if he thought I was too eager or…Crap. He said he had an early meeting.
Henry: OMG, I am so sorry. Are you at your meeting? I’m so sorry! I’m going offline and leave you to it.
I put my phone down and sat back on my kitchen stool.
Shit, shit, shit. What did I do?
>
He’d told me about an important meeting, and then I went and interrupted it because of groceries. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Before I could talk myself into a panic attack, the lights on my phone blinked, and carefully I picked it up. Caden was asking for a video call. For a second, I thought about ignoring it, but ignoring Daddy was never a good idea.
I accepted the call, and when it connected, I could see Caden sitting in a leather chair. But what caught me totally off guard was how hot he looked. Damn. The dark suit complemented his complexion matched with a light blue button-down shirt and a matching tie. Caden looked stunning. My gaze tracked up, and I saw his handsome face light up in a smile, and he started to sign.
“You look like you stumbled over a porn site.”
Oh, he had no idea. I quickly glanced around and pulled my bowl over to lean my phone against it. “You look so hot in your suit.”
“Thank you. You look cute in your PJs.”
Damn. Yes, I hadn’t dressed yet and was still wearing my favorite PJs. I had to laugh when the difference in our outfits occurred to me, and I could see Caden laughing with me.
“You’re right. This call is certainly porn worthy, me in my suit and you in your PJs.”
I went from horrified to half-hard in record time, and I swear all the blood rushed down to my crotch. I probably moaned because I could see Caden laugh, and then he leaned forward, so his face filled the screen. He wiggled his eyebrows at me and made sure that I could see his lips. “Maybe I’ll show up in a suit since you like it so much.”
Oh, God. My imagination of the perfect Daddy paled in comparison with this reality. This was the hottest thing ever. “Please.”
“Sign, Henry. I want to see your hands, so Daddy can be sure that you’re not touching your special place.”
