Hear Me, Daddy: Rainbow Room Book 2 Page 10

by L. Michael

“Okay, sweetie. Then wait a second. I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.” I watched Caden walk over to the tub, where he turned on the tap. He held his hand under the water, testing the temperature—another Daddy thing. Caden turned to leave the room, but then he returned to where I was standing and gently kissed me.

“I’ll be right back, sweet Boy.”

  “Okay, Daddy.”

I stood there for a second, and then I walked over to the wooden chest I kept in one corner. It was just for decoration, but now it came in handy as I sat down and watched the water flow into the tub. One of the first things I’d wanted for my bathroom was a huge, comfortable tub. Baths were not a luxury I had experienced growing up. After I had my first bath, my addiction started. Toys and bubbles added to my addiction after I discovered I was a Little. Now I had a Daddy who was going to bath me, too.

Daddy came back with the wipes and a small paper bag. Clapping my hands, I blurted out, “Is that my surprise? What’s in it?”

Daddy only grinned at me, pulled out a bottle, and poured some of it into the water. I wrinkled my nose. After a moment, I could smell strawberry and, hmm, something sweet. Like cotton candy. Bubbles. Daddy was making me bubbles. This bath was going to be so much fun.

Caden put the bag on the floor next to the tub, then came and helped me stand, then knelt in front of me. While he opened the tapes of my diaper, I leaned slightly to the side, looked over his shoulder, and tried to peek inside the bag. But the only thing I could see was a small, white box with black writing. Apart from the information that Caden had bought me something in a store, it wasn’t helpful. Daddy pulled the diaper off my body and rolled it up. Before I could even get half-hard being naked in front of Daddy, he finished.

“I’ll clean you properly in the tub, Cupcake.”

  “Like really properly?”

  “No, Baby. Not tonight.”

“But…I’m all tingly again.” Staring at his lips to read what he was saying wasn’t helping at all. I already know how it felt to have him kissing me, and I wondered how that would feel…well, elsewhere.

  “Henry?”

Uh oh. Henry. Not Cupcake or Little Boy or the other sweet names he had for me. Henry. I blinked at him and tilted my head. Did I do something wrong? Wasn’t I supposed to tell my Daddy that I was tingly?

“Can I ask you a question?”

  Weird, but I nodded anyway.

“You said you never had a Daddy before, but what about sex?”

“Oh. Um. Kind of.” Oh. I blushed and looked at the tub again. The bubbles were already piling up, and the smell of strawberry cotton candy filled the air. It was a good distraction just that Daddy wouldn’t have it. He gently reached out and took my chin with his two fingers and tilted my head so I would look at him again. He had a soft smile on his lips and an understanding look in his eyes.

“What do you mean, kind of?”

I ducked my head and signed, “Well. Um. I’ve used some toys and stuff.”

Caden lifted my head so I was looking at him. “Thank you for telling me, Baby. We’ll take our time.”

“I don’t want to take my time.”

“Henry, I know that you probably want to experience all at once. But that’s not how I am. We’re going to take our time with all that, okay?”

“But…that means that we can do something tomorrow, right?”

  “Tomorrow?”

“Yes, you said, not tonight. That means we could do something tomorrow morning.” Over the last few days, I’d woken up with morning wood. Now Daddy was here with me, and he could help take care of it. I wriggled with my hips and smiled at Caden, but he only raised an eyebrow at me.

“You want to know when something is going to happen?”

  “Tomorrow morning?”

  “No, when Daddy says so.”

“But, Daaaddddyyy,” I whined and blinked up at him. He couldn’t be serious, could he?

  “No whining.”

“But…” Okay, no whining. Then maybe a cute little pout?

  “Pouting won’t work either.”

Damn. But the worst thing was, now I was half-hard again. It was the way Caden looked at me, the stern voice, and the way he told me no. Well, he didn’t tell me no. He just said that nothing would happen tonight. Or anytime soon. But that implied that something would happen at some point.

  “Daddy?”

  “Yes, Cupcake?”

“But…something will happen, right? I mean…you…you want it, too?”

“I do, my sweet Boy. But I want us to take our time, okay?” Relieved, I nodded, and Caden kissed me softly. Damn. That wasn’t helping at all, but I had his word that we would have sex. When Caden pulled away, I sighed.

“Do I get my surprise now?”

“Yes, sweetie. Let’s get you in the tub first.”

Caden helped me into the tub, and I immediately started to play with the bubbles. They were so soft and smelled so good. There was a whole shelf with a collection of bubble bath, but none of them smelled like strawberry cotton candy. Caden sat down on the steps leading to the tub and pulled a small box out of the bag. I watched him unpack it, curious what it was. At first, he pulled out some small containers and then some little sea animals.

My hands were full of bubbles, so I asked, “What is that?”

  “Stamps.”

“Stamps?” Caden handed me a little starfish, and I curiously examined it. It was blue and no bigger than my hand, but then Caden opened one of the small containers. It suddenly made sense. “Bath colors!”

Caden took a little fish, painted it blue, and pressed it on my arm. I squealed excitedly and held up my arm. “Daddy, look. A fishie.” A green octopus appeared on the tub, and I looked at Caden again.

“You can color on your body or the tub or the tiles. It’s easy to clean.” Grinning, Caden colored the stamp, then he pressed it to my cheek, and I giggled. It was sooo much fun.

I made grabby hands for the container, and Caden smiled, handed it over, then sat back and watched me play. This was the best surprise ever. I never thought that colors would be so much fun in the tub. My toy boats and rubber ducks were fun, but this…this was amazing.

By the time Caden grabbed a washcloth, I’d decorated the tiles, the tub, and most of me. I’d even decorated Daddy’s arms with some starfish and a dolphin. The colors and the stamps were going to be my new favorites. Caden started to rub the cloth over my shoulder, and I pulled away.

“Nooooo. I want to keep the pictures.”

“You can’t keep them on your body, Cupcake. You’re going to make a mess with your jammies.”

“But you can’t just wash them away.”

This time I didn’t care if pouting would get me anywhere, so I did it anyway and turned away from him. That was probably the only good thing about being deaf. If you don’t want to hear something, just turn away. You can’t see the lips and get lousy information. It’s just…Caden wasn’t happy. I sighed and crossed my arms in front of my chest when he reached for my chin and made me look at him.

“Stop that, Henry. You can’t just turn away from me when we are talking, just because you don’t like what I’m saying. That’s not fair.”

Tears welled up in my eyes as the guilt turned my tummy into knots. “I’m sorry, Daddy.”

“I know. But please, don’t shut me out like that.”

“I won’t do it again, Daddy. I promise. Please don’t be mad at me.” The thought of Caden being mad at me after we had such a great day worried me. “I didn’t ruin it, did I?”

“Oh, sweet Boy.” Caden leaned over and gently kissed my nose. Okay, so he wasn’t mad. Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been a nose kiss. “I’m not mad at you, and you didn’t ruin anything. I just don’t like you shutting me out, okay?”

  “Okay. I’m sorry.”

“We talked about it, and it’s okay now, and you promised not to do it again.” Caden kissed me again, and then he put the washcloth awa
y. “How about this. I’ll go and get my phone, and we take some fun pictures of you with your pictures before we wash you. Sound good?”

Oh. Oh, Daddy’s smart. Smartest Daddy ever. “Yes. Yes. Yes. Can I put them up in my playroom? Can we get cute frames for them?”

“Yes, Cupcake. I’ll go and get my phone. You stay put.”

“I will, Daddy. I’ll be right here when you come back. Promise.”

“Good Boy.” With another kiss to my nose, Caden got up and left the bathroom. For a moment, I looked after him. Then I glanced at the colors again. If we were going to take fun pictures, I should make sure that I looked colorful. Giggling, I grabbed the blue container and started to paint a bit more.

  Chapter 10

  Caden

When I got back into the bathroom, I learned a fundamental Daddy lesson. Never leave a Little alone in the tub with bath colors. Henry sat where I’d left him, but now he looked like a living canvas for a crazy painter. It would take me hours to get him clean again. Not to mention cleaning the tiles and the tub. But then Henry caught sight of me, and the brightest smile lit up his face.

“Look, Daddy! Do I look good for a fun picture?”

“Cupcake, you look perfect.” He did look perfect, totally adorable with all the color splashed over his face, shoulders, and upper body as far as I could see. His face was bright with delight and joy. Knowing how his childhood must have been, the joy in his eyes touched something deep inside me. This made him so happy, and I did this for him. Putting my phone aside, I walked over and bent down to him. “You look so adorable, my sweet Boy. We’re going to take beautiful pictures to remember this.”

“This is the best bath ever.” Henry’s smile beamed at me.

“I’m glad you had so much fun.” I kissed his nose and pulled the plug.

  “Daddy. What are you doing?”

“I’m just adding some more hot water. I don’t want you to get cold.” Henry looked at me, then down at the water, and quickly scooped up as many bubbles as he could.

“But then the bubbles will be all gone.”

“No worries. We can add more.” With all the color on him and the pictures he wanted, it would take a while, and I didn’t want him to sit in cold water. I put the plug back in, added some more bubble bath, and ran the hot water. “There, all set, Baby.”

  “Yay! More bubbles.”

“But no playing. We’re going to take pictures, and then I’m going to clean you up before you get all wrinkly.”

His nose scrunched up in the cutest way.

“Hurry, Daddy. I don’t want to be all wrinkly. I want to look cute in my pictures.”

“You always look cute, Cupcake.” That got me another of his beaming smiles that brightened up his whole face. Then he raised his head in expectation of a kiss. Who was I to deny him? Or myself, for that matter. I bent down and kissed him gently on his sweet, soft lips. His reaction to my kisses was adorable. It didn’t matter where I kissed him on his head, his nose, or his lips. Henry always reveled in it. “Let’s take some pictures so I can clean you up.”

Cleaning him up took much longer than I expected. By the time we finished, the water had started to cool, and nearly all the bubbles were gone. I touched his cheek to get Henry to look up at me. “Okay, Cupcake. Let’s get you out and ready for bed.”

“But we’re going to watch a movie, right?”

“Yes. We’re going to cuddle up, watch a movie, and you can have another bottle.”

  “With the yummy milk?”

“No, no, sweet milk before bedtime.” I helped him out of the tub and wrapped him in a towel. Henry pouted but didn’t argue. Instead, he wiggled as I dried him off. Henry giggled when I reached a ticklish spot and winced a little when I touched his scars. I hoped that in time he’d learn that I didn’t mind them. It hurt my heart to see the reminder of what his brother had done to him. But now was not the time to think about it.

When Henry was dry, I put the towel away and looked at Henry. “Okay, let’s get you in a fresh diaper and your jammies, and then I’ll clean the tiles.”

To my surprise, Henry frowned and tilted his head. “But no blowing raspberries.”

  “Why not? It’s fun.”

  “Nooo. It tickles.”

“Yes, but it’s fun.” Laughing, I reached for my Boy to show him exactly how much fun it was. But before I could get a hold on him, Henry turned and ran. The last thing I saw as he fled the bathroom was his cute, naked, wiggling butt.

“You need to catch me first.”

Ah, so it was like that. Laughing, I shook my head and gave him a few seconds to run and probably hide. All the while, hoping that he didn’t hurt himself while running through his apartment. But if he wanted to play hide and seek, I would happily look for him. Okay, let’s be honest here, I’d do pretty much anything to make my Boy happy.

When I walked out of the bathroom, Henry’s blond curls peeked out of the blanket fort, but I decided to ignore it. Instead, I took my time looking around the apartment, making sure to brush the sides of our blanket fort as I walked by. Every time I did that, Henry giggled, and I swear to God, it was the most adorable sound ever. The sound warmed my heart. He sounded so carefree and I loved it.

After ten minutes, I decided that enough time had gone by. Even if Henry was in the blanket fort, he was naked, and I didn’t want him to get cold. I pulled back the linen door, and there he was. Sitting cross-legged on a pillow and grinning like a mad man.

“Excuse me, Sir. I’m looking for a Little Boy. Have you seen him?”

  “It’s meeee, Daddy.”

“Nope. Can’t be. The last time I saw him, he was all blue and yellow and green.”

“But you cleaned me. Look, all clean again.”

I pretended to look him over thoroughly. Henry giggled so hard he snorted.

“Huh, you do look very clean, and you do smell very sweet.”

  “Because I’m your sweet Boy.”

“Maybe I need to taste you to be sure.” I crawled closer, and Henry erupted into bursts of laughter. But then he went still and got so red that I feared he would pass out. Worried, I stopped our game. “What’s wrong?”

  “Go away.”

“What?” Shocked, I pulled back and stared at him. His face was still red, and his whole body seemed to be tense, and then the tears started to fall. “What’s wrong, sweet Boy?”

  “P-Please…just…go away…”

Henry hiccupped the last words, and he seemed terrified. What the hell just happened? We were having fun. Suddenly a distinct ammonia smell reached my nose. Oh shit. My poor Baby. When I’d taken his diaper off before the bath, it was dry, and it had been hours since his last change. We were so focused on his bath and having fun I forgot about his needs.

“Oh, my sweet Boy, I’m so sorry.”

“W-What?” Blinking like an owl, Henry stared back at me with tears in them.

“I’m your Daddy, right? It’s my job to take care of you, and I didn’t.”

  “B-But…”

“No. No buts, Cupcake. Come on, let’s get you to the nursery so I can clean you up and take better care of you.” I held out my hand, and after a long moment, Henry reached out and let me help him out of the fort. He turned and tried to reach back for the pillow he’d wet, but I held him back. Gently turning his face, I kissed him on his nose. “Leave it, Cupcake. I’ll take care of it after I get you snuggled in bed with the movie.”

Henry opened his mouth, but then he closed it again and raised his shaking hands instead. “But I peed on it.”

“Look at me, Henry, please.” I waited till he looked up. Then I gently took his face in my hands. “Do you still want me to be your Daddy?” Henry nodded so quickly more tears streaked down his cheeks. “A Daddy takes care of his Boy, right?” Again, a quick nod. “Do you agree with me that it means that since you want me to be your Daddy that I take care of your medical conditions as well?”

“But this is different from changing di
apers,” Henry whispered so quietly I had a hard time catching it. “It’s…filthy and disgusting.”

“No, it’s not, Cupcake.” Oh, my poor Boy. He was so embarrassed and horrified. But there was no reason for it. From his point of view, I could see why he thought it was disgusting that he peed on the pillow, but he didn’t do it on purpose. He had a medical condition. He simply couldn’t help it, and I let him down. “This is my fault. I knew about your issue and should have made sure to check in with you on time.”

  “But…”

“If I hear one more but from you, there will be no movie and no bottle. Just bed for you.” Henry stared at me, openmouthed. Then he closed it and slowly nodded. “Good. Now I want you to watch my lips very carefully.” I pointed to my mouth and waited until I was sure I had his full attention. “I’m your Daddy, and as long as you’re not using your safeword, I’m taking care of you, and that includes your medical condition. I knew about it, and I failed you. It wasn’t your fault, Henry, and I’m sorry.”

For a long moment, Henry just stared at me, and then a small smile appeared. “Does that mean that you don’t get to watch a movie?”

“What and deny my Boy cuddles? I don’t think so.”

“Oh, damn. I didn’t think about that.”

“That’s no reason to cuss, Cupcake.” I let go of his face, and Henry immediately threw himself at me.

  “I’m sorry, Daddy.”

Oh, my sweet Baby. I kissed his head and hugged him tightly. For a moment, I just held him. Then I let go and made him look at me again. “Let’s get you cleaned up and into some comfy jammies.”

“Or I could just stay naked.”

“The answer to that is still no.” I used my best stern Daddy look, and it seemed to work because Henry huffed and turned around to walk into the nursery.

“Fiiiiiiine. Just don’t be surprised if you find my blue balls have fallen off when you change my diaper tomorrow.”

Or maybe it didn’t work. Torn between laughing out loud and giving in to his demands, I settled on a sigh and followed him. I was glad that he was over the pillow incident, but this…this side of Henry was going to be the death of me.
