by Ruth Jones
Thank you to my lovely, lovely friends who have supported me so loyally on this venture as well as everything else – you know who you are and I am forever indebted to you all.
To Dawn of Cornwall for convincing me I could do it.
To Mark, Julian and Maria for always supporting their drama queen of a sister – I love you all so much. (And Maria, I hope your book club doesn’t slate this – ’cos that would be so embarrassing for you.)
To my beloved Peetlets – Fiona, Louise and Alex – for your continued love and joy-giving.
To my dear, dear mother, Hannah, who has encouraged me to write since I was little. Mum, you are the best (and I’m sorry about the swearing).
To my beautiful father, Richard, no longer with us, and painfully missed every day. I know you are proud, Dad, wherever you are.
And finally to my wonderful husband, David, for always inspiring me and for giving me the confidence to do this. I wouldn’t have got here without you, my darling.
