Second Sin Page 4

Pulling out of her tight heat, Guy made love to her. He didn’t fuck her. With his lips against hers, he took his time, prolonging the mating, and loving the woman in his arms with all of his heart.

Only when he couldn’t hold out any longer did he make the sacred mating vows.

“Kitty Evans, you are mine as I am yours. Nothing will tear us apart. I mate with you. Please accept my life and my protection as yours.”

His cock swelled inside her, making him groan at the intense pleasure of the moment. They were bound together as mates, husband and wife.

“Yes, I accept your claiming and your love.” She lifted up, kissing his lips. “I’m ready.” She tilted her head to the side, and he sank his canines into the flesh of her neck, relishing the taste of her blood. The wolf within him howled at finally discovering his mate, the one woman who was supposed to be his for the rest of their lives.

Pulling away, he made a cut against his neck, drawing her close so that she could take his blood, completing the claiming. His brothers came close, each of them licking her blood and forever binding them all together as one united pack. They were all close, feeling the need to mate with her, but they must wait their turn.

All but Stuart moved away, and Guy began to rock inside her. Her slick pussy made it easy for him to glide in and out of her warmth. Kitty held onto him, loving him.

Holding her close, Guy didn’t want to let her go.

“I don’t want to stop,” he said, whispering the words.

“We have to, Guy. Two more moons and we’ll all be safe.” She looked into his eyes, and he found himself drowning. “You helped me. I love you, and we can do this.”

Slamming into her, Guy couldn’t hold off his orgasm. He held her tighter than ever before as his cum spilled inside her, filling her up.

“I love you. I will always love you,” he said.

His orgasm subsided, and still he held her.

  “Guy?” Stuart asked.

Looking into Kitty’s tear-filled eyes, Guy shook his head.

“Turn, Guy. Turn and run. I’ll be fine.”

He eased out of her body. His heart was heavy as he moved away from her. She kept smiling, nodding her head. Before he could stop himself, he turned into a wolf before her eyes, and took off into the woods. When he looked back he saw Stuart sat beside her, stroking her cheek. It wasn’t enough as far as Guy was concerned. He’d have wrapped Kitty in the safety of his arms and never let her go, but he wasn’t his brother.

“You’ve got to trust Stuart,” Tom said, following him.

Shaking his head in wolf form, Guy took off.

  Two more moons to go.

  Epilogue

Stuart carried Kitty up to his room. She was passed out from the mating claim. He placed her on his bed, and simply stared at her. Her beauty took his breath away. Touching her hand, he locked his fingers with hers even though there was no grip to her hand.

This was his moon now, and he was scared.

He’d never been good with women. They were good for one thing, fucking, and he’d always been more interested in his books.

With Tom being the alpha, the one in charge of finding their mate, Stuart had lost himself in books to ease the fear.

Now, it was up to him to mate with Kitty.

He didn’t see a problem with anything other than his own fears. He was attracted to her, but he’d never been great with women, never needed to be, and books were his escape from the fear of failing.

“You better treat her like a princess, Stuart.” He turned toward the door to see Guy standing there, looking pale as fuck.

  “I’m going to.”

“She deserves your attention. Not your damn books.”

“Fuck off, Guy. I’ll do my part, and I’ll love Kitty with every part of my being.”

“You better, otherwise, I’ll burn you with your fucking books if I have to. Teach her some of the shit you read about. Be the hero she deserves.”

Guy closed the bedroom door, leaving him alone with Kitty.

Staring at the blonde beauty, Stuart knew in his heart he’d do the best he could.
