Moments later, Elryk collapsed onto his chest, burying his face between Kaythan's neck and shoulder. His hot breath caressed the sensitive skin there and Kaythan brought up his arms to hold onto this man he loved.
After a while, when they'd caught their breath and his cock was beginning to soften, he pulled out of Elryk's still occasionally clenching hole and turned them onto their sides. His mate waved a tired hand to clean them and snuggled in without another word, one of his legs between Kaythan's thighs in his favourite position for sleeping.
Kaythan kept his arms around his mate and closed his eyes. He'd never felt so happy. Everything was going to work out. Elryk had helped him find a way to cleanse Tah'Nut from the evil that had taken hold so long ago. It would still take awhile to spread this new type of justice across the planet, but now that they'd set everything in motion, it should be just a matter of time.
Kaythan grinned. Thanks to a wizard's exceptionally long lifespan, which was apparently shared by their mates, they'd have more than enough to return Tah'Nut to prosperity. Taking care of each other while they worked to make their shared passion a reality would be a very welcome bonus.
Forever had always seemed like a very long time, but with Elryk by his side, his life was certain to be far more interesting than he'd ever thought possible.

I'm a night owl who starts writing when everyone else in my time zone is asleep. I've loved reading all my life and spent most of my childhood with my nose buried in a book. Although I always wanted to be a writer, financial independence came first. Twenty-some years and a successful business career later I took some online writing classes and never looked back. Living and working in seven countries has taught me that there's more than one way to get things done. It has instilled tremendous respect for the many different cultures, beliefs, attitudes and preferences that exist on our planet.
I like exploring those differences in my stories, most of which happen to be romances. My characters have a tendency to want to do their own thing, so I often have to rein them back in. The one thing we all agree on is the desire for a happy ending.
I currently live in the United Kingdom, sharing my house with a vast collection of books. I like reading, travelling, spending time with my nieces and listening to classical music. I have a passion for science and learning new languages.
