I pull the pillow from under my ass and drop it to the floor. The musky scent of our bodies is now being washed away by the breeze. The one that comes from the large balcony window.
“My god, that was something else,” I say.
“You’re telling me, it was like I’d been sucked for an hour, my cock was throbbing so much,” Brent says grinning.
“I came twice in the space of thirty minutes. How would you like that?”
“My body is made differently, I’m not sure I could handle that,” he replies.
“You can tell when I enjoy it, I cum with you.” I kiss his cheek.
“What about women who fake it?” Brent asks.
“I can’t fake that, I can hardly breathe,” I say plainly.
“I can understand that. I have so many things going through my mind, I can hardly speak.”
“Just wait until we’re in the swinger’s club?” I say, giggling cheekily.
“Why? I mean, what will be different there?”
“If you’re lucky, you might have another pussy to deal with,” I say belly laughing.
“If that happened, where will you be?” Brent asks.
“You never know, I might be holding my pussy an inch from your face,” I say. I give a sly wink.
“I don’t want to fuck another woman, I’m more than satisfied with what I have now,” Brent replies.
“Don’t worry, maybe I’ll tell her she can only have oral from you, what about that?”
“Can you go a bit further and just ask if I can finger-fuck her?” Brent asks. “God, I feel shy already… about the whole damn thing!”
I start to laugh. “We can always ask Brooke to join in.”
“I’m not sure Alex would be happy.”
I slap Brent on the chest playfully. “You’re supposed to say, ‘No way,’ not, ‘Alex won’t be happy.’”
“I might be feeling dizzy from the warm soak we had.”
“Yes, DARLING!”
“Felling dizzy and lightheaded doesn’t mean you’ve been spinning in circles.”
Brent
“Everyone forgets something, it’s human nature.”
Bell had cuddled in close, and we both fell into a deep sleep. As always, I woke up first. I went downstairs and made breakfast. We’d had it out yesterday, but food truck breakfasts were a bit like rubber… and definitely not the healthiest choice in the world.
I finish setting the table as Bell appears at the top of the stairs. “Wow, Mr. Mom,” she shouts.
“Well, if I can’t make breakfast for the love of my life, who can I make it for?”
Bell smiles and ambles down the stairs. Her hair everywhere; she resembles a cavewoman with her hair all matted and knotted. It was the world’s greatest mess of hair, that’s for sure. I wasn’t going to mention it though, that would be a big waste of a great breakfast.
Bell sits at the table and picks up the fresh juice. “I was knocked out after the tub last night.”
“You’re not the only one, I woke up this morning and felt like I had been asleep for a week.”
“Can you remember what we have to do today? My mind is blank at the moment,” Bell says.
“I think you mentioned the girls are coming today,” I say.
“Crap, we have nowhere for them to stay.”
“They can stay next door until we can find them some accommodation.”
Bell giggles. “Bob will be happy, but I’m not sure how he will cope with the other girls being there, too” she says.
“He has met them before though, right?” I ask.
“The night he consummated his love for Britney,” Bell says.
“We can just get them some mats or something, they can be upstairs.”
“Have you thought about the dealers for the gambling side?”
“The what?” I ask.
“Hello, where have you been? We have a gaming side as well as the club.”
“That totally slipped my mind, we will have to start looking,” I say.
“What do you mean, we, I don’t know anything about dealers,” Bell says.
“Crap. I’ll ask Alex if he can help.”
Bell chews on her toast and picks up her juice. “I have a thought.” She looks at me. “We told Mikey to go with Brooke to help him double his money. We know she can sense the roulette table, maybe she can sense good dealers as well.”
I sigh and shrug my shoulders. “It’s worth a shot, I can also go back to the old club where Alex was a manager and ask there. I’m not sure if they’re all trustworthy, though.”
“How many do we need?” Bell asks.
I scratch my head. “If we’re not twenty-four hour, I think it’s about twenty-five per shift,” I say.
“We’ll have to aim for that. We don’t have time to find fifty, so twenty-five will work, and we can recruit as soon as we’re open,” Bell adds.
“I will speak to Alex later, but we have to see how Bob’s getting on with the information from yesterday,” I say.
“Yeah, that was a real biggy. You have to tell Alex that. Maybe, it’s too big for us to handle, even with Alex’s help,” Bell says. “If the councilors are hiding that much, maybe we need Beau's assistance.”
“Is he that good with finance?”
“I will tell you something, now it’s all over. But don’t go spreading it around.” Bell looks at me sternly.
“I won’t say a word,” I reply.
“There was a situation at the start. This guy who went by the name of The Kingmaker. He was a real-bad apple, and he worked for some very, very, influential families. Ones who were seeking world domination.”
I begin to laugh. Tears fall down my cheeks. “You’re making this up, right?” I ask. I let out a huge laugh.
“Okay, let me tell you and then ask Shona or Cally next time you see them,” Bell says.
“Go on. I’ll listen, it just sounds too far-fetched.”
“You don’t know the half of it,” Bell says.
“Right. I am ready. Tell me the story.” I say, holding my laughs back.
“This Kingmaker, he had teams of three men in every country. These teams solved any problem, or helped influence any government takeover.”
“Three men could do this?”
“Quiet, and don’t underestimate a three-man team. If you just knew the full story,” Bell explains. “Well, Beau and Joseph were the two most prominent men in this undercover operation. Beau didn’t know this until it was uncovered by Owen and Tina,” Bell adds.
“I’ve never heard of these people,” I say.
“You won’t have. They haven’t been exposed for this operation,” Bell says.
“I just have to get another coffee. I feel you might be going on for a while.”
I walk to the counter as Bell waits for me to make a cup. “Ready,” I say.
“So, The Kingmaker was doing all these operations and using Beau to use this money to make more money. And this is why Beau was basically the king of New York when it came to money,” Bell explains.
I sip from my cup, and now I am thoroughly intrigued. This sounds like a really good book. If it had been written by an author it would have sold heaps of copies.
“Now, to cut the story short, The Kingmaker was dealt with and within a short period of time all his money vanished,” Bell says.
“How? And where did it go?” I ask as I place my chin on my hands.
“That’s a story for Beau to tell, and I think only Beau can tell that part accurately,” Bell says. “But Beau had a helper on the market floor, he did all the action while Beau had an automated system on his computer. One that dealt with everything.”
“I would love to know where it went,” I say.
“Everywhere would be the answer,” Bell explains. “Beau was more than generous, and I did tell you… I never had to work again.”
“Yeah, but a few payouts to friends is not going to get rid of that much, what figure are we talking about, that he got
rid of?” I ask.
“A few billion,” Bell says.
“What?” I say, shocked.
“I did say billions, maybe two to five, who knows,” Bell says.
“No wonder these clubs are so easy to open for them,” I say.
“It’s just a hobby, it’s how he met Shona, so they kept on doing it,” Bell says. “It’s romantic!”
“So, this is why Beau is so good with finances?”
“Yup, he is a genius with money, he can see the trail that no one else can see,” Bell explains.
I sigh as I lean back in my chair. I put my hands behind my head. “We might as well invite them all here, then we know we have all the resources,” I say.
“Brent. I think it’s actually time for you to meet everyone, the whole family,” Bell says plainly.
“I would feel more comfortable with a bit of expertise behind me,” I say.
“I will speak to Shona. Infact, I’ll do it right now.”
She walks to the kitchen counter and picks up her cell phone. She finds Shona’s number. Bell puts her phone on the kitchen table.
“Are you sure about this?” she asks.
“Why the hell not? This is Las Vegas after all, and I’m sure they could all do with a vacation.”
Bell hits the button to dial Shona. “Bell, is that you?” Shona asks from the speaker.
“It is. How are things there?” Bell asks.
“They couldn’t be better.”
“I know this is short notice, but we have stumbled on something yesterday with the problem we are sorting,” Bell explains.
“Not a big problem, I hope?”
Bell leans closer to the cell. “These councilors we’re looking to expose, we think they have an operation that’s way larger than what we can handle. I believe that we need Beau and you to help,” Bell says.
“When are you looking to open?” Shona shouts through the speaker.
“Not this coming weekend, the following weekend,” Bell says.
I sit and listen to the conversation. It’s like another language to me. They’ve known each other for so long, they say things that mean nothing to anyone else.
“We can fly there in the next couple of days, whoever can’t leave with us, can follow. I can leave Conor in charge here,” Shona says. “What about Tina, do you think you will need her?”
“No, just bring the others. Cally, Ty, Joseph, and Stacey. Brent wants to meet the whole family,” Bell says laughing.
“I will bring Tina and Orlando too. They deserve a break, and they’ve done so much recently,” Shona says. “What about Alex and Brooke? Um, are they gonna be there?”
“Alex is here, and Brooke arrives back tomorrow,” Bell says.
“I will tell everyone. It will be like old times,” Shona says with excitement in her voice.
“Let me know, and I can arrange everything for the hotel,” Bell says.
“Speak to you soon, maybe tomorrow, or the day after.”
“Take care,” Bell says as she hits the disconnect button. Bell looks at me and smiles. “Happy now?”
“I’ve really done it this time, haven’t I?” I ask.
“You did say bring everyone.”
“Everyone forgets something, it’s human nature.”
Bell
“Young love has so many questions to ask.”
Bob's office is a hive of activity. With papers that are streaming from the printers, Mikey and Bob look mighty perplexed. They aren’t confused, but it’s easy to see that something isn’t right with the information they’ve been finding.
Brent closes the door behind him as I pull out the chair from under the table. “Have you been home?” I ask Mikey.
“No, I’ve been here all night, Bob slipped me a couple of his energy drinks and I’ve been wide awake.”
“You will crash out you know, you should be careful. You are not as young as Bob,” Brent says.
“It’s like a huge puzzle, ever since you gave us that information yesterday. Blank… the whole fucking trail goes blank.”
“I don’t understand, are you talking about that you can’t prove the councilors are the owners of that house?” Brent asks.
“No that’s fine, we can even prove they are the joint owners of the casino, the hotel, the golf course, and everything else in that block. But there are no records of anything else,” Mikey explains.
“What records?”
“Tax records, anything that involves payment. The whole block of land is like damned area fifty-one. We know it’s there, but to the outside world, it doesn’t exist.”
“There has to be a trail somewhere,” I say.
“Utility bills to the properties, but that’s all,” Bob says.
“Does this mean we can’t put the finger on them?” Brent asks.
“The opposite, if we can just find one thing, one little thing… we can expose them for tax evasion. Fuck them over with the gaming committee. It’s just like they are taking money in and it’s staying in without them paying any dues.”
“Bob, we have two bits of good news for you,” I say.
Bob looks up from his computer and looks at me. He pushes his spectacles back to the top of his nose. “What’s that?” he asks.
Number one, Britney is coming back today, and not just for a short time… she’s here to work,” I say. “And, we thought you could do with some help with all this. Once you find that link, we have to know what to do with it. So, Beau will be here in a day or so,” I say.
“Fantastic on both counts. Where is Britney staying?” Bob asks excitedly.
“Don’t explode or anything, but she and the other girls will have to stay here until we find them somewhere to live,” I say.
“In this building?” Bob asks, with a huge grin plastered on his face.
“Yes, in this building, they will be upstairs and you’ll have the space you have now,” I reply. Bob’s smile fills his face. He seems so excited.
“Just a quick question. How long do you think I will be here for, once Beau has arrived?”
“Until all this is over.”
Bob’s face sinks and his shoulders slope. “That means a couple of weeks at the most.”
“We will have to see what happens once we’re up and running,” Brent says.
Mikey lifts his head from the papers he’s reading. His eyes are red and bloodshot as he looks into my eyes. He’s tired.
“We also have some news for you as well,” Brent says to Mikey.
“For me? Really?” he asks.
“Remember, we said to go to the casino with Brooke to double your three hundred?” Brent says.
“Yeah, I remember.” He rubs his eyes.
“We have a job for you to do at the same time.”
“What job?” Mikey asks.
“I forgot to do something, and we have to do it quickly. We have to find twenty-five dealers minimum, so we can double the job of the casino visits,” Brent says. “If Brooke can sense the dealer is good, I can try and interview them while you’re playing.”
“You didn’t leave yourself much time,” Mikey replies.
“I know, but look how things have escalated!”
“I suppose.”
“What time is Britney Arriving?” Bob asks me.
“Just before lunch, I think,” I answer.
Bob looks at the time on his computer. “That’s in a few hours, I have to rest and get ready.” He stands up from his desk. “Mikey, you should go home and get some sleep.”
Mikey looks at Bob. “Are you kicking me out?” he asks chuckling.
“Of course, Britney is coming home to Poppa,” Bob says.
“Did you just call yourself, Poppa?” Mikey asks.
“Did I say that out loud? I was just thinking it, it’s the energy drinks,” Bob says grinning.
“Okay. I will head home and get some rest. I don’t want to stand in the way of young love,” Mikey replies.
“It’s not young love, Britney
and I have a real connection,” Bob says winking.
“And we all know what connection that is?” Brent says laughing.
“Hey, Britney is a good girl, she’s heads above those others… especially that other one who you said was new. Susan, I think her name is.” Bob looks at me.
“Why, don’t you like her?” I ask.
“I was drunk, but she didn’t seem to gel like the others, she was a little distant and off,” Bob replies.
“That’s all the more reason for them being here, we can keep an eye on them until we get them sorted,” I say.
“They will need bed mats or something, there’s nothing upstairs apart from floorboards,” Bob says plainly.
“We know all that, we have to go later and get some things,” Brent says. “Shit!” I look at him remembering our shopping adventure.
“See you later Mikey, I have to go,” Bob says quickly as he vanishes up the stairs.
Mikey sighs. “There’s nothing like young love, is there?” he says laughing.
Brent puts his hand on Mikey’s shoulder. Maybe you can find someone for yourself out of all this.”
“Who is going to look at an old ball sack like me?” Mikey asks as he stands up from the desk.
“No one, if you think you are an old ball sack. Buy some new clothes, go to the barber, and change your cologne… then you might have a chance,” Brent says.
“What is wrong with my cologne?” Mikey asks.
“It wasn’t me, the players at the table in Alex’s game said that he smelled like a seventies porn star,” Brent says.
“That’s my cologne, I’ve used it for years, it was trendy,” Mikey says.
“When is the last time you had a real date?” Brent asks.
“A few years, now. I’ve been busy!”
“Mikey. Go home and get some rest,” I say.
Mikey nods and closes the folders on the desk. He begins to walk to the door. “I hope this Beau is as good as you think, we have to nail these fuckers, not just for us, but for the good of Vegas.”
