“That’s it, I wanna pound your fucking pussy, treasure.” He keeps thrusting away and his actions become quicker. Knowing it’s Katsu and not Ben kills my libido, but I know I need to put on a show for him. “Touch yourself; let me feel your fingers as I slam into you.” My fingers find their destination, like they’ve done countless times before. I know how I like to be touched and opt for the quick version. I don’t want Katsu in me any longer than he has to be.
“I’m about to…” He doesn’t finish his sentence. Instead he roars out a deafening growl and collapses onto my back pushing me down onto the bed. My fingers caught between my clit and the firmness of the mattress. I didn’t find my second release because Katsu finished too quickly.
“Thank you, treasure.” Getting off me he strolls into the bathroom to take care of the condom, but before he reaches the door he says: “Be ready for me when I come out. I want to make love to you.”
The next hour’s spent in bed, satisfying Katsu’s need to possess me.
Afterward, I lock myself in the bathroom and turn the shower to the hottest temperature I can tolerate. I stand under the gushing water pounding on my body and let the tension leave me.
Tears fall from my eyes, not because I hated every minute with Katsu, but because I enjoyed it too much. I wanted it to be Ben, imagined it was him. That was the only way I could get through any sexual encounter with Katsu. The only reason I did get through it, because I wished it was Ben.
My head’s leaning against the wall, my eyes are closed and my hands entwined and resting on my head, just letting the water cascade down over my body.
Thump thump thump.
“Treasure, let me in to shower with you.” Katsu’s voice brings me out of the meditative state I was enjoying in my very private shower.
I open my eyes and my shoulders slump before stepping out and unlocking the door.
Once I’m back in the shower Katsu steps in behind me and runs his hands up and down my back.
“I just want to shower with you.” His mouth’s close to my ear, nipping at my earlobe as soon as the sentence left his lips.
He gets the shower gel and washes his body while I regain the position I was in before he was banging on the door. Katsu takes that as an invitation and attempts to turn this into a sexual encounter.
“Not now, honey, I just want to relax. You can wash me, but I don’t want anything else. You’ve worn me out already.” I try to make it sound like a compromise, but really I don’t want him again. I want Ben. It’s been three weeks since I’ve seen Ben and next week I get to go back to his house for a few hours.
“Okay, sweetheart. Whatever you want. You know you make me very happy. Thank you for giving yourself to me this morning.” His tongue’s drawing patterns on my back between kissing and nipping. “I can’t wait to have you in my bed tonight.” Katsu’s hands splay across my stomach and he pulls me toward him. He turns me around and grips my hips as he kisses me deeply. “I need to go out for while. Takumi will be coming by later on and I’ll be back before he gets here. Tyler will stay with you. If Takumi gets here before I get back, let Tyler deal with him. I don’t want you anywhere near him.”
“Okay,” is all I say as Katsu gives me one last kiss and leaves the shower. He stands in the bathroom for a moment while he gets a fluffy white towel and wraps it around his lower body. He takes another towel, but catches me looking at him, and he winks at me.
He steps out to finish drying off and gets ready to leave. I need to get away from everyone for a while so I can touch base with Agent and also spend a few stolen hours with Ben. I’m sure he’s looking forward to next Thursday as much as I am.
I’m out of the shower now and Katsu has left. I’m dressed in jeans and a t-shirt and open the bathroom door to find Tyler standing tall outside, just to left of the walk in closet.
“Miss Moore,” he greets me, P90 in its holster, dressed in the customary all-black outfit.
“Tyler, how are you today?” I ask sincerely, walking to the kitchen with him following.
“Fine, thank you. And how are you, Miss Moore?”
“Good. Tyler are you married?”
“No, Ma’am.”
“Do you have a girlfriend?”
“Um, yes Ma’am.”
“Where were you taken after the Prada situation?”
“Um, Ma’am I know I have to thank you for requesting me, but where I was has no relevance now.”
“Tyler, do you and I have an issue?”
“Not at all, Miss Moore. I’m truly thankful you requested me and I know my job is to ensure your safety. So I’ve no problem or issue with you at all.”
John, the chef, is in the kitchen and places a plate of crispy bacon, eggs sunny side up, tomatoes, mushrooms and two pieces of toast for my breakfast on the kitchen table.
“Tyler would you care for some breakfast?” I ask him as I salt my eggs.
“No thank you, I’ve already eaten.” He stands by the door in his usual predatory stance, waiting to pounce if anyone appears who shouldn’t be there.
“It looks delicious, John. Could I please trouble you for a coffee?”
“Of course, Ma’am.” He makes it and brings over the coffee just the way I like it.
After a sip of coffee and just as I’m taking my first bite of the toast, Rina, the housekeeper, enters the kitchen.
“Miss Moore, Mr. Takumi’s arrived.”
She looks worried and confused. Katsu’s only been gone less than hour and Scar Man isn’t supposed to arrive for a few more hours. Odd.
“Miss Moore, I’ve been given instructions to deal with Mr. Takumi. Please enjoy your breakfast while I settle him into the library.” I give Tyler a nod and he leaves the kitchen to deal with Scar Man.
Anna
It’s been an hour since Scar Man arrived here and one hour since Katsu left. I tried calling him to let him know Scar Man’s here in his library, but Katsu isn’t answering his phone. I can only assume he will be out a while longer. Tyler hasn’t come back to me, either; he must be baby-sitting Takumi.
This is the perfect opportunity for me to leave without Tyler or anyone else following me. I dress in a long-sleeved Calvin Klein t-shirt, leave my CK jeans on and grab my thick CK hooded jacket. I slip on my Vans and head for the elevator before anyone has a chance of stopping me. I press the button to the basement where my car’s waiting for me and I hear Tyler behind me.
“Miss Moore, where are you off to?” The elevator arrives just as he finishes the sentence and is making his way down the stairs from the library to stop me; I quickly step inside and pretend I didn’t hear him.
“Miss Moore,” he shouts after me.
“I need some…” I start saying but the doors close before I get the chance to finish.
I get to my car before he can stop me or send any other security after me to bring me back.
I make it to my car and I know I need to ditch it. I’m sure Katsu’s put a tracking device on it, and I can’t take the precious minutes I need to find it.
I’m in my Audi at the boom gates and wave to the guy in the booth as I approach. The gates go up and I pass through, but I see him answer his phone just as I make it out of the parking garage.
I head to the main street and find a parking spot easily. I leave my phone in the car glove box. I take the emergency cash out of the little hidey hole I had made for my beautiful babies. My guns are locked up back at home, but I do have enough cash to get me back there. When Katsu finds my car he’ll simply think I came out to do a spot of window shopping and to have time to myself.
As I hail down a bright yellow cab, I also keep an eye out for anyone following me or anything suspicious. But it appears I’ve nothing to worry about. The cab takes me close to my cabin and I immediately start running the short distance to get inside.
The air inside my cabin is dense and stale. There’s a thin film of dust on the table top and my other furniture. I haven’t seen or been inside my safe room fo
r weeks. That’s the first place I go. As I enter the code, my stomach’s fluttering with excitement that I’ll get to hold my beautiful golden babies again. I walk over to the shelf that houses a small, wall-mounted safe and enter the combination.
I inhale deeply and a smile stretches my lips. My eyes narrow and I take out my first baby, with its mother-of-pearl grip, and gorgeous, shiny, gold body. I lift her to my nose and smell the steel. I bring her down so I can caress her and pay the proper attention to her with both hands. I’ve missed her so much. Her twin sister lays inside the safe, waiting for me to touch her and pay equal homage to her, too. My hand grazes over her identical form and I let out a deep breath.
“Soon,” I say out loud, not for anyone’s benefit, but for my own.
Once my babies are safely back in their special resting area, I grab my phone that’s been sitting on the charger for the last few weeks. I see there’re numerous calls from Agent. I dial his number and he picks it up on the second ring.
“Where the hell have you been, 15?” He sounds concerned.
“Undercover. Have you missed me?” I never talk to Agent like this. Ever. It’s always pure business.
“What’s happened to you?” It’s back to normal.
“I’ve infiltrated Katsu Vang’s inner circle. I need information on one of his security team. First name Tyler. That’s all I have. And I need information on one of the inner circle too. Takumi. I’ve no last name for him either. And I need information for EAC Ophelia Woods – St. Cloud PD. Have you managed to find anything on Katsu?”
I listen intently as Agent tells me what he’s found on Katsu, nothing new.
“There’s a building I need you to get blue prints for, Agent. Address Heathcote Road – Maple Grove. ETA?”
“ETA’s four hours.”
“Send the prints to my phone once you get them.”
“15, you need to check in with me more often. Or I need to have GPS on you at all times.”
Is Agent concerned? Agent isn’t wrong in this though, I really do need to be able to keep in contact with him.
“I’ll call you from random numbers and let it ring once every seventy two hours.”
“I’d prefer a GPS signal on you, 15, at least until this job’s over.”
“Impossible, Agent. Not with this target.”
“We also have another problem. I’ve managed to squash any further developments, but this concerns you as well.”
“As well? This sounds difficult.”
“There’s been chatter coming out of Washington. More specifically the J. Edgar Hoover Building.” Agent stops.
The FBI.
I try to gather my thoughts. This isn’t good.
“Oh shit,” I say. A few seconds pass. “What sort of chatter?”
“Well the talk I’ve heard, is there’s a problem in St. Cloud. A few assassinations, more specifically, there’s noise about a dirty cop. No specific name’s been mentioned. But the assassinations are being attributed to you.”
I’ve been on the radar of all government agencies for a long time, ever since I made a name for myself.
Ben and Ethan called me the Girl with the Golden Aim and I’m certain government agencies have their own alias for me. Of course, Agent’s always kept on top of the traffic flow through these agencies and keeps me informed of what’s being communicated. Thanks to Agent, they’ve never come close enough to knowing my real identity.
“Let them think that then. I need you to do something else for me, Agent.”
I go on to ask for as much information on the men at the meeting table, providing Agent with the descriptions I had gathered. Agent will get me the information I need.
“One last thing, Agent, when you have that information I need you to…” I trail off and describe in detail what I want him to do with his findings.
“Understood.” Agent has his job cut out for him now, but that’s what I pay him for.
Anna
My next phone call is to Ben. It feels like it’s been such a long time since we’ve spoken, but it’s only been three weeks.
“Hello.” He answers on the third ring and I smile just hearing his voice.
“Hello to you.”
“Baby girl. I’ve missed you so much.”
“Not long now. I can’t wait to see you.”
“Where have you been? Are you still with him?” I can tell he’s talking through a clenched jaw.
“Really, Ben? You really want to do this? I get a few minutes and you want to spend it asking me about him?” My tone’s pleading with him to just leave this alone.
“I’m sorry, beautiful. I just miss you like crazy. So much shit’s happening here and I just can’t get my mind off him.”
“Listen, I’ve heard a few things I think you should know about. First, there’s a dirty cop at your station, so you need to keep a close eye on everyone. That dirty cop may or may not be the same person who’s been approached by my current target. If it is, my current target’s indicated it’s a woman. I’m thinking Ophelia. I haven’t managed to secure any information on her yet.”
“Where have you heard these rumors from, Anna?” Ben’s voice has turned ice cold and I can almost feel the tension radiating through my phone.
“It doesn’t matter, just be vigilant with everything that happens around you. And I think the assassinations will stop now, too. It appears the message has been received loud and clear by all intended targets.”
“What have you done?” he asks.
“Me? Nothing. I just think the problem that precipitated the assassinations by the people involved has now been resolved. Look, Ben, I need to leave, they’ll be looking for me soon if they haven’t already started.” I sigh because our few minutes we got to speak was only used to communicate the warnings.
“Baby girl, let me help you if you’re in trouble. I have my own resources; you don’t have to go through this alone.” His pleading voice brings a tear to my eye. How can such a loving and caring man be in love with me, a cold-blooded and heartless assassin?
“It’s not anything I haven’t done before, babe. I don’t want you involved. I’m doing this to protect you. I have to go. I’ll see you very soon. I love you.” I hang up before Ben can argue with me or tell me he loves me.
It’s difficult enough listening to his sexy voice and not being able to touch him. I immediately take the sim out of the phone and destroy both the phone and the sim.
Untraceable.
Unidentifiable.
The last two hours spent away from Katsu and Tyler has been a godsend. But I know I need to get back before Katsu sends an army to find me.
I call a cab, destroy yet another disposable phone, and start walking toward the main road. It arrives quickly and takes me back near where my car’s parked in the town center. I grab a caramel latte and start strolling back toward my Audi, making it look like I was out for a stroll and some window shopping.
I get half-way down the street and am looking in the window of a jewelry store when my arm’s grabbed so tightly I drop my latte. I don’t even get a chance to say anything when I hear the familiar sound of a very irritated voice.
“Where the fuck have you been?” A growl leaves his chest. “I’ve been looking for you.” He’s pulling me along so quickly I need to do a small jog to keep up with Katsu.
“I needed some air, Katsu. I was just looking around down here.”
“Don’t you understand you’re a target now?” I see the limousine up ahead, just in front of my Audi. “Where are the keys to your car?” I hand them over to him, but he’s still angry with me.
“Katsu, you were busy, that man was in your house and I just couldn’t be there with him.” Sounds like an authentic excuse. I’d believe me.
Maybe not.
But I don’t trust anyone except Ben.
Katsu gets to the limousine, opens the door and roughly pushes me inside. He turns to one of the Security Guys who’s holding the door open for us and he mutter
s something low and gives him my keys.
Katsu joins me in the back of the car and barks to the driver to put the privacy shield up.
The shield hasn’t even finished its climb when Katsu’s right palm makes contact with my left cheek. Not once. Not twice. But three times. All in the same spot. My cheek bursts out into a throbbing inferno and there’s ringing in my left ear. I cower away from him, giving Katsu the illusion of control and dominance over me.
“Where the fuck’s your phone, Anna? I tried tracking you which is how I found your car. What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
“I needed to get out of your house away from him. I needed time to think.” I say in the smallest of whispers.
His palm finds my face as aggressively as it did before.
“You belong to me, Anna. There’s nowhere you can go and think you can get away from me.” His voice is still angry as he delivers his speech, but at least he doesn’t hit me again.
He doesn’t speak for a while and I let his wave of anger subside just like a wild fire that sweeps through a dry brush. Stay out of its way and let it settle down on its own.
That’s what I’m doing with Katsu…until the time comes that I douse him with gasoline and watch him burn.
We approach the penthouse and get into the parking garage without another word exchanged, without any further slaps from Katsu, or me killing him.
I see my Audi has been returned and there are three men pulling my dashboard out. Looks like they’re installing a tracker I won’t be able to disable to in a hurry.
Katsu’s out of the car and has opened my door, extending his hand to assist me. Tyler steps behind me, but I notice he has a fat lip and a black eye.
As we walk to the elevator, that’s where all hell breaks loose.
Anna
Tyler’s on his ear piece and throws himself on me, catapulting me two feet to the left, his body covering mine on the cold, dirty concrete floor. There’s yelling coming from everywhere around me. I’m focusing on the sounds that aren’t voices. The building shakes and big pieces of plaster fall all around us.
