“Jordan. I’m fine.” She began walking away from him and turning to the glass door. “I’ve been eating all my meals and I’m not as tired anymore.”
She sighed. “I miss you Jordan. I need you.”
Ah, hell, Jordan thought. Who could say no to that?
Sage waited looking out at the patio area. Soon she felt Jordan walk up behind her. After a few seconds she felt his hands go to her hair and begin to unravel it. She smiled.
Oh yeah, it was about to go down, she thought in anticipation.
Jordan whispered in her ear. “Tell me what you want pretty girl and tell me how you want it.”
Sage squeezed her legs together and took a deep breath.
“I want it out there,” she said pointing towards the patio. “In the hot tub.”
“Is that safe?” he asked while his hands started a journey from her behind around to her belly.
Sage leaned back into him and nodded. “I lowered the temperature.”
His hands moved to her now fuller breasts and gently cupped them. She placed her hands over his holding them in place against the aching twin mounds. “If you stop now, I swear I will kill you,” she whispered. He continued to massage her before reaching down for the hem of her dress. Slowly his hand slipped underneath.
“No panties tonight?” he asked sliding his fingers to her hot core. She opened her stance wider.
“No time for panties...Ahhh...” she said slowly as his hand worked its magic on her. Jordan moved her hair from her neck and replaced it with his mouth. His other hand continued to give attention to her breast. His lower hand increased its pressure and Sage heard herself moan.
“Let's give you this one right here,” Jordan whispered against her neck. Sage nodded while riding the wave that his hand was producing. Higher and higher she soared until she felt the first explosion of the night. Calling his name she toppled over the edge. He held her against him until she came back to reality.
“Mmmm...” Sage murmured resting back against him.
Jordan turned her to face him. “You okay?” he asked searching her face.
She smiled sexily up at him while running her hand down his chest and lower cupping his erection in her hand. “Not yet,” she answered. Sage took his hand and led him out to the patio area. Watching him she pulled her dress over her head leaving her completely naked. She entered the hot tub and took a seat in the bubbling water watching him.
Jordan locked dark eyes with hers and began to remove his jacket. Sage watched as he folded it over the patio chair. Next was his tie, followed by his shirt. He neatly placed both over his jacket. Sage licked her lips as she took in his beautiful dark brown skin and the muscles that rippled as he folded his clothing.
His hand went to his belt unfastening it and opening his slacks. She held her breath as he lowered them leaving him in black designer underwear. She waited while he folded them and placed them along with the other items he'd removed. Her eyes widened as she waited for the revealing of the masterpiece. Watching her reaction Jordan lowered his last piece of clothing. After laying them over his clothing he came to join her and settled into the water across from her.
“Did you enjoy the show?” he asked and she shook her head in the affirmative. They sat watching each other and Sage felt her anticipation increasing.
Jordan lifted a brow at her. “Are you coming over here or do I have to come and get you?”
“Come and get me,” Sage answered then watched as he stood and parted the water like an ancient ebony god coming to conquer her. He took her hand and helped her to stand. Sitting on the higher seat he turned her back to him and sat her on his lap holding her close. Sage wiggled and settled herself on his risen desire.
“Do you feel that?” he asked against her ear. She nodded biting her lip.
He kissed her neck. “Tell me how you want it.” Sage turned to glance at him.
“Slow,” she whispered touching her lips to his. Jordan took this opportunity to treat himself to the lips that he loved so much. He tasted, nibbled and suckled them until she moaned deeply in her throat. Sage took a small breath as he touched her to determine if she was ready. Finding that she was, he entered her waiting womanly folds and she breathlessly called his name. “Jordan...”
“It's yours pretty girl. Take what you want,” he commanded softly as his hands came to caress her hardened nipples. Sage arched back into his body accepting more of what he offered. Her body began a natural rhythm beneath the waters and Jordan accommodated her every move. His hands traveled along her rounded body encouraging her pleasure.
He whispered to her how beautiful he thought she was and what she did to him. Sage threw her head back and Jordan softly nipped at her neck. When she'd finally had her fill of ecstasy her body gave its release in tandem with his. Jordan laid his head against her back holding her gently. Finally, he lifted her from his body and turned her to face him.
“Okay?” he asked stroking her cheek.
She smiled. “Perfect.”
“I love you Sage,” he told her.
“I love you Jordan,” she responded before he captured her mouth and started over again.
Sage awakened in bed with Jordan next to her. She turned and looked into his sleeping face. She still thought he was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. Now she knew that in addition to his handsomeness he was kind, loving and caring. He gave her the love she'd missed in her life and she vowed that she would not let any harm come to him. She knew that Jordan was more than capable of taking care of himself, but she also had his back.
She thought of what she was about to do and hoped that Jordan would understand why she'd had to do it. She never wanted him to look at her with anything but love. Sage reached over and touched his bearded face. It was soft to her touch. Her fingers went to his lips. Lips that gave her pleasure to the point of passing out. He stirred slightly and then she was trapped in that dark gaze.
“Hi Jordan.”
“Hi Sage,” he said against her fingers. “What's wrong?”
“Nothing.”
He studied her taking her hand “Why are you awake Do you need something?” he asked.
She gave him a sexy look.
“Not that,” he told her and she pouted. Jordan laughed rubbing his thumb across her protruding lips.
“Okay,” she sighed. “I guess I've had enough Black Magic for tonight.”
“Yeah. I know it's good.”
Sage gave him a look. “It's alright.”
It was Jordan's turn to give her a look. “Yeah, that's why you were begging for it tonight.”
Sage folded her arms. “Nobody was begging for it.”
Jordan laughed. “Yeah. You were,” he said smiling. “I recall, 'I miss you Jordan. I need you,'” he said imitating her voice.
Sage narrowed her eyes and swung her legs to get out of the bed. “I bet I won't be 'begging' for it anymore!” she snapped dropping her feet to the floor.
“It's okay baby. I know it's just that good,” he said lying back against the pillows. Sage grabbed one of the pillows and threw it at his face. He caught it laughing and she headed to the bathroom. “I'm just teasing you Sage,” he said watching her stomp away.
“Go to hell Jordan!”
“I love you Sage,” he called. She slammed the door.
Ah...hell, Jordan thought.
Jordan was out of bed immediately heading to the bathroom. He opened the door and found Sage on the toilet with her chin resting on her hands.
She gave him a look. “Uhh...Excuse me?”
“I'm sorry,” he said dropping to crouch in front of her. “I was just teasing you. I didn't know you would really get upset.” He watched her for a few seconds before kissing her lightly.
“Are we good?” he asked.
She grudgingly nodded. “You do know I'm on the toilet right?”
“I don't care,” he said. He studied her for a moment. “Which one are you doing?” he asked cautiously.
“Jordan!”
“It doesn't matter,” he said smiling. Sage couldn't help but laugh at him. He could make her so mad and then say the craziest things to make her love him even more.
“Are we good?” he asked again putting a hand on her tummy.
She smiled at him. “We're perfect Jordan.”
He kissed her again “Why were you mad?” he asked confused.
She pouted. “Because...it really is that good,” she said sadly.
Jordan shouted laughing and then went back to kissing her while she sat on the toilet. He wondered how he got so lucky to have this woman in his life.
Chapter 25
Two days later Sage put her plan in action. The first order of business was to get in touch with Joanna. She called the hotel and asked for her room.
“Hello,” Joanna answered.
“Hi Joanna! This is Sage. Sage Parker.”
Joanna lifted a brow. “Well hello Sage. What can I do for you?”
“Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to meet for lunch today,” Sage began, “I've been thinking about things and I really want to try to help you and Jordan work things out. I can see how much you care about him.”
Joanna wondered how she'd gotten this lucky. She had been trying to figure out how to get to Sage and now she'd landed right in her lap. She even thought that she actually cared about Jordan. Joanna smiled to herself.
“Sure Sage, I'd love to. Jordan is important to me.”
Stupid little hussy, Joanna thought. She won't even know what's she's done until it was too late for her precious Jordan. The bastard.
“Great,” Sage told her. “I'll pick you up in one of Jordan's cars around one?”
“I'm looking forward to it,” Joanna replied.
“So am I Joanna,” Sage said cryptically. “So am I.”
Sage disconnected the call and sat staring at her phone. “I tried to warn you Joanna,” she said out loud while shaking her head. Her phone rang while still in her hand.
“Hi Jordan,” she answered.
“Hi Sage. I just wanted to let you know that I have some things to work on at the office tonight so I might be home a little late,” he explained.
“No worries. I'm actually hanging out with Ray tonight,” she told him.
“Good,” he said. “Please make sure that you-”
“Eat. I know Jordan. I promise you that I will eat dinner,” she cut him off smiling.
“Okay. I love you Sage.”
Sage took a breath. “I love you too Jordan. So much,” she sighed.
Jordan heard her sigh. “Everything okay baby?” he asked concerned.
“Yes. Its fine,” Sage composed herself. “I'll see you later tonight.”
Pause. She thought he would question her some more, but he said, “Okay. Tell Ray I'll check in with him later.”
“Sure. Bye Jordan.”
“Bye baby.”
They disconnected the call and Sage grabbed her bag and headed outside to the waiting car.
The car containing Sage pulled up in front of the hotel at one on the dot. Joanna was exiting the building when the driver got out opening the door. Joanna couldn't help but notice the startling brown eyes of the driver. They were an exact match to Sage's. He smiled and gestured for her to climb inside. She found Sage sitting on the seat dressed in a simple maternity top that showed her full belly, jeans and tennis shoes. Joanna lifted a brow? Surely she knew to dress better than this for lunch! Hussy...
Sage watched Joanna's expressions run across her face. She apparently found Sage's attire unacceptable. For what she was about to do, Sage knew she needed to be comfortable since it might take a while. She looked over Joanna's designer outfit including shoes and matching bag. Her hair and makeup were perfect. She was the epitome of a kept woman. Joanna also thought she was smart. Soon, I'll find out exactly how smart you are, Sage thought.
“Hello Joanna,” Sage said with a smile.
“Sage,” Joanna greeted. “You look...comfortable.”
Sage rubbed her belly. “Yeah. The baby doesn't like high heels too much.”
Joanna noticed that the partition to the driver was down. She glanced up into the mirror to see those brown eyes watching her.
She turned back to Sage looking into the same eyes and said, “I'm so glad that you called. You know Jordan can be such an ass...”
“Excuse me?” Sage said narrowing her eyes.
Joanna recovered quickly. “What I was saying was that Jordan can be such an assuming person. He and his father were suspicious of everything.”
Rightly so when it comes to you, Sage thought.
“Jordan likes to stay on top of things,” Sage responded.
“Right,” Joanna said glancing out of the window. She noticed they were no longer in downtown LA. “Uh Sage, just exactly where are we going for lunch?”
Sage shrugged. “Just a little out of the way place that my brother found.”
“Okay. I'm sure I'll enjoy it,” Joanna commented.
Wrong on that one, Sage thought. When they'd driven a little further out of town Joanna turned to Sage. “I hope this place is worth this drive,” she commented.
“It is.”
Sage sat back watching Joanna for a while. She looked to the front and connected gazes with her brother. He nodded slowly and she turned back to Joanna. Time to get it started.
“So Joanna,” she started. “Why are you trying to hurt Jordan and who's helping you?”
Joanna tried to play it cool. “What are you talking about Sage I thought you knew how much I cared about Jordan?”
“You mean how you don't give a damn about him and never have?” Sage calmly questioned watching her.
Joanna lost some of her cool then. “How dare you question me? You don't know anything about me and Jordan. You're just a little hussy who he happened to knock up.”
Sage smiled. “So you can be honest.”
Joanna huffed. “Let me out of this car!” she demanded.
“Soon,” Sage answered leaning back against the seat.
The car eventually came to a stop and Sage waited until the door was opened. Joanna looked at the open door.
“After you Mrs. Black-Harrison,” Sage said watching her.
Joanna stepped out of the car and saw nothing but an industrial looking building in a deserted field. She turned to Sage who was now getting out of the car with the help of the driver.
“Where am I?” she screamed.
Sage walked past her towards the building. “You're about to enter your worst nightmare Joanna.” Ray grabbed hold of Joanna and escorted her into the building behind Sage.
Once inside Ray led Joanna to a chair in the middle of the room. The chair had wrist and ankle restraints in addition to two straps across the chest and abdomen. Joanna looked up at Ray.
“Have a seat,” he instructed.
“You must be out of your damn mind!” Joanna screamed. “Do you know who I am?”
“You won't even know after today,” Sage commented.
That drew Joanna's attention back to Sage. “What the hell are you doing Sage? Did Jordan put you up to this?”
“Sit down Joanna,” Sage instructed. “Or my brother will help you.”
Ray glared down at Joanna lifting a brow.
“You won't get away with this!” Joanna threatened as Ray nudged her into the chair.
“Don't touch me!” she screamed falling into the seat.
Ray quickly began attaching the restraints and before long Joanna was securely held in the chair. She had cursed and screamed the entire time Ray had been adding the restraints.
Sage tired of the noise. “Gag her until I'm ready for her to talk. Please!” she told her brother.
Quickly Ray grabbed a cloth and put it over Joanna's mouth tying it behind her head. When he was done he looked over to Sage.
At the silence, Sage said, “Thank you. Can you bring my bag from the car?”
He nodded and went outside.
Sage walked over to Joanna and shook her head. “I told you not to try to hurt my Jordan.”
“But you didn't listen.”
“Now you don't need to listen anymore, because you're going to do all the talking.”
Ray came back inside with a leather bag in his hand. He sat in on a nearby table and Sage walked over and opened it pulling out different items. She unfolded a long piece of cloth before placing other items on the table.
She looked up at her brother. “Can you move this table a little closer to her?” she asked.
Ray came and slid the table until it was directly in front of Joanna and then stepped to the side.
“Thank you.”
Sage looked over her table checking for all her items, then nodded to herself. She looked up and connected eyes with her brother. “I'm ready to start.”
“I'll be outside guarding the door,” he told her before heading outside.
Sage brought her attention back to Joanna who was now watching her with wide eyes.
“Joanna. Joanna. Now we could do this the easy way and you can just tell me what I want to know or we could do it my way; but either way I'm going to find out why you're here, what your plan is, and who is helping you. Understand?” Sage told her.
Joanna gave Sage a defiant look. “I see you've chosen option two.”
Sage took a seat on the edge of the table “Let me tell you a little story Joanna. I can tell you because you're not going to remember anything after today,” Sage said with a flick of her hand.
“See, ever since I was a little girl, I've always had an inquisitive mind. I wanted to know everything about everything. So it was only natural that later in my life I became an intelligence agent for the government. The funny thing about that though, is that people don't just willingly give you information. Sometimes you have to force the issue...take matters into your own hands. I became an expert on how to extrapolate vital information from unwilling subjects,” Sage explained.
“Now I usually start out with a version of Sodium Pentothal or you might know it as a truth serum.” She watched Joanna's eyes widen even more.
“Don't worry. I'm an expert at administering it. I won't kill you,” Sage said with a smile. “I haven't lost one yet.” She paused.
