  Carole Moore is a writer whose work has appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines. She has also served as a bureau chief for an ABC news affiliate, a radio news director, and a radio talk show host. She worked as a police officer for twelve years, serving both as a patrol officer and criminal investigator, including a stint on a joint federal task force.
