He shot a quick glance at Cole and Nate who stood to his left, then to Aric and Braden who stood to his right, and then to Luke who had edged between him and Aric. "No, we'd like to ask you a question."
Dylan reached toward her and gripped her hand. The warmth of his skin seeped into her, sending currents of electricity shooting through her veins. Every cell in her body danced in delight.
Without releasing her hand, he took a knee. Her heart hammered in her chest. Was this really happening?
His gaze intensified, boring straight into the innermost depth of her soul. He searched there for only a moment before he held a ring up to her. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Luke taking a knee beside his brother, and though she wanted to sneak a peek at the sweet boy next to Dylan, she couldn't pull her gaze from Dylan's.
Dylan sucked in a breath and let it out. "Marissa Geyer, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
Thrill snapped through her like a whip knocking her breathless and wordless. Her brain was screaming yes but her sheer excitement prevented her from speaking.
Luke elbowed Dylan. "Us, Dylan. Remember, it's supposed to be marry us." He sounded so serious.
The older boys chuckled.
Dylan flung his arm around Luke and pulled him tight to his side. "You got it, buddy."
He returned his gaze to her. "Marissa Geyer, will you marry into this family?"
"Oh yes, yes." She pulled Dylan's hand, yanking him to his feet. In one fluid movement, his arms were around her and his lips were on hers, pressing delicately. He lingered for just a moment before inching back. Oh, how she wanted his lips on her tingling mouth again, but she imagined the audience caused the intermission. But she didn't mind, she'd have a lifetime of his kisses.
