The king pulled the sword he wore and charged forward. The sword came down in an overhand slice at Bray’s head. It was deflected by one of Bray’s knives. The other was buried in the king’s throat.
“For my father,” Bray said as his uncle’s eyes closed. He pushed the dead man off his blade.
“The King is dead,” Aramas announced. “Long live the King.”
