Raider, Chelsea and Scarlet enter the bedroom. The twins do not plan on doing anything sexual with Raider. They just want to get to know him better. Scarlet especially wants to get to know Raider better. They sit down on Scarlet’s bed and talk to each other. Scarlet asks him, “So, were you scared on the battlefield? I know war is always scary, but I’m not sure if it is for you.” Raider replies, “Not really, demons don’t really get scared at all. In fact, we don’t really have that many emotions. The emotions we mostly have are negative emotions. Blood, gore or anything like it is what we feed on. Negativity is what gives us strength.” Chelsea replies, “Are you tired at all? We all know war can be very exhausting and take up a lot of energy. Sarah has returned home several times and has passed out on the living room couch. Raider replies, “I am a little bit tired, but I can stay awake for the rest of the night. How about you two, it is getting pretty late?” Chelsea replies, “We tend to stay up pretty late, but it is getting close to our bedtimes.” Chelsea says to Scarlet, “I don’t know about you, but I am going to get into my pajamas.” Scarlet asks Raider, “Do you mind if we get dressed in front of you, we are going to be naked?” Raider replies, “Not at all.” Scarlet and Chelsea both strip down naked and change into their pajamas in front of Raider. They are both very comfortable in their own skin and are not afraid to be naked in front of people. If Sarah were to walk-in, the twins would be in big trouble. She does not like it when they get naked in front of other men unless they’re going to have sex. Even then Sarah doesn’t want to see them naked.
Raider, Scarlett and Chelsea get to know each other very well before they all go to bed. Raider leaves the room and heads into his bedroom. Sarah is getting dressed, but he is unaware she is in there. He ends up walking in on her as she is getting dressed. She is completely naked when he walks in. Sarah does not kick him out of the room, because he has already seen her naked. But Sarah does ask Raider, “What do you think you are doing, you should have knocked?!” Raider replies, “I am sorry, I didn’t know you were in here. I don’t know why you are ashamed about being naked in front of a man. You’re a very beautiful young lady. You have nothing to be a shame of.” Sarah replies, “Thank you, but I am not ashamed of my body. I take great pride in my body. The reason I am upset is because I do not like men looking at me naked. It is because most men just want to fuck me and not get to know me. I know you are different from all the others, because you are not human at all. You do not have feelings towards human women, I don’t think.” Raider replies, “Exactly, so you have nothing to worry about. Have a good night.” Raider crawls into his bed and immediately goes to sleep. Sarah is happy Raider does not have any feelings towards human women, so she thinks. She truly does believe someday this fear will go away forever. Until she meets the right guy, she will continue to be this way. Sarah crawls into bed after getting into her pajamas and goes to sleep.
Meanwhile, Synx returns back to his fortress with the rest of his army. He is outraged, but he is going to be even more outraged in just a moment. He enters the fortress and gathers with his wives. He quickly notices one of them is missing. Synx shouts, “Where is she?!” A leader replies, “Your son killed her on the battlefield. We were not able to retrieve her body.” Synx screams and grabs the leader by his throat. He looks into the leader’s eyes and says, “First, we lose the battle and fail to retrieve my son. Now, I am just figuring out one of my wives was killed on the battlefield. Someone has to pay the price.” Synx squeezes the leader’s throat as hard as he can and digs his claws into it. Blood gushes out of the throat and drips down the leader’s chest. Synx eventually releases the leader from his grip, but he is not done with him just yet. Synx immediately stabs him in the chest and digs his claws into his chest. He grabs the leader’s beating heart and rips it out of his chest. The leader falls to the ground, but he is not dead just yet. Synx places the heart back where it belongs. The leader will be able to heal from this, but it will take some time. Synx says to the leader, “You are lucky I do not kill you or didn’t kill you. Now you know the pain of my heart. My women mean everything to me. Get out of here before I changed my mind and kill you right here.” The leader runs away from Synx.
Tomorrow, Raider will be receiving his reward from the General. The World Army will be celebrating another victory over Synx’s army. Raider will be receiving a Purple Heart and joining the higher ranks. Raider will be a new leader for the World Army. His job will be very similar to Sarah’s job. He will be leading a raid of elite soldiers into enemy territory. But instead of snipers, he will be in charge of getting information on his father’s own army. The people he will be working with will be highly skilled with semi-automatic rifles. Of course, he will be a co-leader for his next mission since he is not familiar about how they do things. Once he is aware about how he should be doing this job, he will receive full command of missions.
Chapter 7
Welcoming the Newcomer
The World Army is celebrating another victory over Synx’s army. Synx tried to take over their main military base and take back Synx’s son, but they were not successful. The World Army has Raider to thank for their success, because he was the one who warned them about this attack. Without him, who knows what would’ve happened. Raider has already received his Purple Heart for his brave actions during this battle from the General. After he has received his Purple Heart, the party begins. However, Synx’s spy is at the party to assassinate Raider. Synx orders the spy, “Because we were not successful at capturing my son alive, I am going to leave it up to you to decide if he is going to die from your hands or you are going to bring him back to me so I can kill him myself.” The spy replies, “Bringing him back to you by myself is not an option, it would be my honor to eliminate him for you. It will be a slow and painful death for him, because I know this is how you want it to go down.” Synx replies, “Excellent, let me know how it goes down. Make sure he is actually dead this time.” Synx disconnects from his spy.
The spy plans on killing Raider by using a highly poisoned dagger, but he must be very careful himself. The dagger he is using contains holy water alongside this lethal poison. A single cut can kill him and ruin everything. It is not going to be an easy task when it comes to killing Raider, because he is constantly being approached by other members of the military. However, he sees this as a perfect opportunity as well. He is going to congratulate Raider and stab him with the dagger. Of course, he has to make sure he doesn’t get caught by Raider or anyone else. He is going to stab him in the back and get out of there as quickly as possible.
The spy approaches Raider with the dagger hiding underneath his jacket. The spy is wearing armor underneath his jacket so the dagger does not accidentally cut him. The spy successfully congratulates Raider about receiving a Purple Heart. As the next person congratulates him, the spy stabs him in the back with the dagger and quickly escapes. The spy does not leave the party right away, because he wants to make sure Raider is dead. Shortly after Raider is stabbed in the back by a dagger, he falls to the ground and is pronounced dead. The spy leaves the party and tells Synx about him successfully killing Raider. However, Raider miraculously comes back to life. Unfortunately, he still has a humongous chance of dying again. He is quickly rushed to the hospital and examined. The doctors quickly find where he was stabbed and know exactly what happened. However, they do not know what kind of poison he was injected with. The doctors drain his system and get the poison out of him. Once the poison is out of him, they stitch up his wound and search for any more stab wounds. Fortunately, Raider is able to survive this attack and will be able to go on his next mission. However, he will not be going back to the party. The doctors will be keeping a close watch on him until he is free to leave tomorrow morning.
Sarah receives the message about Raider’s attack and immediately rushes to the hospital. The doctors explain everything to Sarah once she arrives at the hospital. She is not able to see him at the moment, but can see him through the examining room windows
. Raider looks very ill, but she knows he is going to be just fine by tomorrow morning. Sarah will be joining Raider on his next mission, but will not be with them the whole entire time. Raider will be sharing a small squadron with Jacoby. Jacoby is a master when it comes to analyzing and coming up with strategies in battle. Raider and Jacoby will be approaching Synx’s castle inside of his fortress and get information on the castle itself. Sarah and her squadron will be making sure everything is going well outside of the walls. She will warn them if anything is going wrong while they are in there. Raider does not agree with this plan at all. He believes they are making a big mistake. They ignore his warning and this invasion will still take place.
Sarah will not be returning back to the party. Instead, she will remain inside of the hospital until she is asked to leave. When she leaves the hospital, she will be returning back to her home and tell everyone what happened to Raider. Out of everyone in the household, Scarlet will be the saddest. Sarah watches Raider as he sleeps inside of the hospital. So far, everything is okay. But moments later, Raider ends up puking blood into a bucket. Sarah is very worried about his condition, but she knows this is normal and a very good thing. Puking blood allows him to clean out his bloodline and get rid of anything that doesn’t belong in his system. Demon blood is very different from human blood, obviously. Demon blood looks more like gasoline. It is black and purple with very shiny elements to it. The shiny elements inside of demon blood allows them to live through fatal injuries. It is almost like having extremely durable armor inside of your bloodline. After he is done puking blood, he falls back asleep and wakes up in the morning.
Sarah leaves the hospital when visitors are no longer allowed. She returns back to her home and delivers the news to everyone in her household. She is not happy about delivering this kind of news to them, but will let them all know he is going to be just fine and will return back home in the morning. Everyone has received the sad news about Raider. Scarlet is the saddest out of everyone in the household. Scarlet does not show how truly sad she truly is, because she doesn’t want everyone to know about her secret crush on him. She will tell everyone, including Raider, about her true feelings towards him when the time is right.
Moments later, everyone gets ready for bed and falls asleep. Everyone is able to get a good night sleep, because they all know Raider is going to be perfectly okay in the morning. They all cannot wait for him to arrive home and give him a big hug. However, not everyone is able to sleep with ease. Scarlet is having a very hard time following asleep. She does not tell her sister about what is going on, because she doesn’t want to wake her up. Scarlet is worried Raider will not make it through the night and she will not be able to tell him about her true feelings towards him. However, she knows she has nothing to worry about and she is just paranoid. Eventually, she is able to overcome this and is able to fall asleep.
The next morning. Sarah wakes up in the morning and gets ready for today’s mission. She is curious to know Raider’s medical condition. She truly does believe he is doing well and can go on this mission. After Sarah is done getting ready, she heads downstairs into the kitchen for breakfast. For the most part, everyone is in the kitchen eating breakfast. Scarlet is the only one missing. She is still sleeping in her bed, but not for much longer. She wakes up in about an hour from now. After Sarah is done eating breakfast with the rest of the household, she leaves the house and heads over to the hospital to see how Raider is doing.
Sarah arrives at the hospital. She quickly rushes over to Raider’s room to see how he is doing. Sarah is stopped by a doctor. He has very good news. The doctor says to Sarah, “Your friend, Raider, has fully recovered. There is going to be an investigation going on while you two are away. We need to figure out who attacked him and how they did it. He is waiting for you at the equipment room.” Sarah replies, “What a relief, thank you.” Sarah leaves the hospital and rushes over to the equipment room.
Sarah arrives at the equipment room. She immediately spots Raider as she arrives. She runs towards him and gives him a really big hug. She lifts him off of the ground as she hugs him. Sarah says to Raider, “I’m so happy you are doing okay.” Raider replies as he is gasping for air, “Thank you, can you please put me down. I am having a very hard time breathing.” Sarah puts Raider down and loosens up her grip, but she doesn’t stop hugging him. She hugs him for a couple more minutes before she puts on her equipment and they all head out on the mission.
Raider still believes this is a huge mistake. They can’t just show up inside of the fortress and expect them not to get caught. The fortress is heavily guarded with very powerful creatures. The creatures inside of the fortress are much more powerful than the humans believe. What they all do not know is Synx is working on a special weapon that is designed to be a killing machine. It is going to be a huge threat to the World Army.
Raider and Sarah’s groups are making their way to Synx’s fortress. Again, they must cross the desert that almost wiped them out the last time. This desert is very dangerous and it is about to be even more dangerous than they ever expected. However, they still have a long and dangerous trip ahead of them before they even make it to the desert. They must first make it through a forest. They usually don’t have any problems walking through this forest, because there aren’t any really huge threats in this forest. But, they are going to run into a very dangerous creature that they have never seen before.
Raider and Sarah’s groups are strolling through the forest. They all have their guards up, but nothing can prepare them for what is about to happen. They are all walking through the forest and have no idea they are being watched by a very dangerous predator. This predator has the ability to turn itself invisible and tear its prey into shreds. It especially loves to turn their prey inside out. This creature has always lived in this forest, but has never had the taste of human blood. Now it will know what it is like to have human flesh. The creature is a very large bird. The creature is called a terosuni. It is keeping a very close eye on everyone from the treetops. It carefully and quietly flies closer to them as they are marching through the woods.
It takes a couple of moments for Sarah and her comrades to realize they’re being followed by a very dangerous predator. One of the comrades gets everyone’s attention. She says to everyone, “Everybody be quiet and listen. I think we are being followed.” Everybody stops to listen, but they do not hear anything. Another comrade replies, “There is nothing we need to worry about inside of this woods. Everything that lives here is afraid of us. Let’s keep moving forward.” They continue to walk through the woods, but they do not make it very far. The creature attacks a young man whom is part of Sarah’s squadron. His name is Willis. The creature strikes Willis at high velocity and stabs him directly in the back with its large beak. The creature flies away with Willis and is never seen again. The creature attacked so quickly nobody knows where it took him. However, they do hear him scream and get eaten. Sarah orders everyone, “Everybody, run as fast as you can and stick together.” Everybody runs together in formation and they all look out for the creature. However, they never do find it.
As everyone is running through the woods, the creature strikes again. This time, it kills somebody in Raider’s squadron. It kills a young woman whom is an excellent swordsman. She is the best swordsman in the whole entire group. Her name is Amber. The creature swoops down at high velocity, again. This time, it strikes the back of her head with its razor-sharp claws. Her head splits in half from this attack and drops dead. The creature doesn’t bother eating her. It wants to remain hidden. Fortunately, this is the last time they see the creature, for now anyway. Everyone else makes it out of the forests alive. They are just moments away from reaching the desert. However, they must make it up a waterfall and into the swamp. The swamp is notorious for having giant and deadly snakes.
Raider and Sarah’s squadrons arrive at the waterfall that leads into the swamp. It is very dirty and toxic water. They all have to be careful not to get any wate
r inside of their mouths. If anyone gets water in their mouth, they will start hallucinating and fall into a panic attack. The panic attack will cause their heart rate to go up and eventually have a heart attack. There is no cure for this, so it is very important nobody gets water in their mouth. Fortunately for Raider, he does not need to worry about getting water inside his mouth and dying. This water is not toxic to him. Fortunately for everyone else, they all brought water masks with them. Before they climb up the waterfall, they all put on their masks and get ready to climb up it. Once everyone has their masks on, besides Raider, they all climb up the waterfall together.
The water from the waterfall is not the only issue about climbing. They have to be very careful of the rocks. All of the rocks are highly slippery and sharp. If anyone falls, they will be falling to their death. Unfortunately, one person from Raider’s squadron ends up falling off of the waterfall and smacks their head on a rock. Her head explodes as it hits a razor-sharp rock. Nobody stops climbing the waterfall to see who it was, they all just keep moving forward and they all eventually make it to the top.
