Wench With Wings Page 6

by Cassidy, Rose D.

Impressed, disappointed it lasted only a few minutes, turned on, motivating. He went down a list, stuck in the same spot physically and emotionally; he had to have her. Dane was spitting words to him that he didn’t really hear and then they went walking around to find out more about what went on with the fights and about the list. He tried looking for Trey but couldn’t find her until she was back on her ‘throne,’ he though, giving her closing argument. Fight night was over. He followed her with his line of sight not noticing he took every step after her.

She walked out with joy for the fight she just won and the next ‘go on’ in her night. She motioned her head to the front door of her shop to Brian, the guy she just fought. They went upstairs and she grabbed the bottle out of the freezer, the joints off the table and headed back to the hot tub without a word. She set the stuff down on the edge, took the top off and stripped down. Brian stood there for a minuet a bit thrown off by her naked body. “You gonna get in?” Trey asked sarcastically. Really the guy just fought her but was scared to get naked with her, ‘unbelievable,’ she thought as he finally started to undress.

She motioned for him to sit in front of her with his back to her and handed him the bottle as he settled in. She lit up the joint and traded with him. After a few hits and a couple shots she began to work her hands all over him. When she felt him relax she stood up and got out dragging him with her to her bed, laying him down and crawling on top of him. She kissed him softly and touched him seductively before gliding onto him. She rode him slow and whispered in his ear, “feel it,” as she got off, knowing the feel of her muscles pulsing on him would send him into a frenzy. She looked to his eyes to see them change from lust to love as he gripped her hips to go deeper, closing his eyes with the relief inside. She kissed along his collar bones and up his neck as she moved from him onto the bed to lay on her back. He turned to his side and propped himself up on an elbow to touch and look at her. Then she spoke before he could. She gave him the same talk she had with them all than sent him away.

Ayden walked behind her all the way to her shop then saw her go in with the guy she just fought and thought, ‘what does she do, brand them after she wins a fight with them?’ He laughed to himself shaking his head and turned to walk away then he caught a glimpse of her on the upstairs balcony pulling her shirt over her head. He saw red; red rage. His vision; blurred. He was pissed, he wanted to kick that guy's ass. He wanted to head up there. What would Trey think? He wanted to wait until he came out so he could beat the guy senseless. What would she do if she knew? What would he do? He had no clue.

  Chapter Five:

  His Anger Ridden Epiphany

He woke in his bed just as pissed as he was last night; thinking, ‘oh, she was interested in men just not until she beat them.’ He didn’t think anyone knew what she did to them when she was done fighting them and he wouldn’t say anything, not yet anyway. He would have to figure out a way to either stop her or join her, he wasn’t sure yet but he had to find out her reasoning of doing it to decide what to do next.

She was revived. She won a fight with complete control even with Ayden’s presents trying to steal it with his wink. She then got to satisfy a guy and throw him out before the look in his eyes changed. She laid in bed with the thought, ‘this Ayden guy has nothing on me! I’m still in control of it all. It’s the weekend, I’ll relax today and celebrate tonight.’ She threw some texts to the pack to get them in on it and sat back and relaxed with a good book until the evening when she would open her shop.

He couldn’t sit still, he had to do something to occupy his mind, so he headed out for a run than hit up the gym. He tried to control his anger but it kept getting the best of him every time a picture of her arms lifting her shirt off her head, flashed red in his head. He kept running scenarios through his mind that could help him but he couldn’t get anything solid other than his anger. By the time he was done at the gym he started to calm down. He ran back to his house and took the hottest shower he could till the water ran cold. Then sat back on his couch to think while Dane was not home.

He could wait till he got a fight with her than let her beat him, but that wouldn’t work, he would have to beat her to gain her want for him, maybe. He could wait till the fight with her than beat her fairly which would gain her respect then ask her to his bed, but would she come? He could wait till the fight with her and see how it ends and if she beat him than he would go to her place with her but not touch her or give her what she wanted; (sex, it had to be that, right?) ‘That couldn’t really be it there has to be something more,’ he thought. That plan would not work either. If he was in a room with her, he couldn't guarantee he could keep his hands off of her. None of these that went through his head seemed like it would work. He was thinking simple because with women simple was always it! “Ha,” he said. Not with women and especially not with Trey. She was the farthest from simple.’

It would have to be more of an elaborate plan. Then it hit him. She asked for him to stay away for a reason and that reason had to be because he made her hot with want. At her shop the last time he saw her he knew that she only said the words to piss him off and get him to leave so it must be that reason she couldn’t handle being around him because the time before she wanted him, he saw it. He would make her so crazy with want that she would not want to touch anyone but him. ‘Or it could have the complete opposite effect.’ Either way it was a fifty-fifty chance he was willing to take. It was action now instead of a wait till he got a chance to fight her. It was his best plan yet and it would have to work. He had to have her, no one else could and he would have to have her before the next fight. He was good, plan was set, it might not be the best but he would make the best out of it.

She was enjoying her relaxing, it was something she didn’t get very often but she still managed to peal herself from the couch and head down to open the shop. She was puttering around when Jocelyn and Gwen came flying in. “We got an issue, Trey.” Jocelyn tensely said.

  “Great. What’s up?”

  “I am out of brains!”

“Seriously? You really had me concerned.”

“Oh my goddess you should be, did you hear me. I AM OUT OF BRAINS,” she yelled.

“Okay, why are you out of brains, Jos?”

“I fell trying to flip off a wall on the way here!”

  “Okay.”

“Okay! Okay? That’s all you have to say. I have lost control here and that’s all I get from you?” Trey only laughed and shook her head looking toward Gwen and pointing her thumb at Jos. “Has she been like this ever since she did it?”

“Yea, we might have to bring her to the hospital I think she’s cracking.” Gwen played.

“Oh, oh no you don’t! I am just fine there is absolutely no reason for them creepy ass Dr.’s to be sticking me with crap.”

“It’s so funny that you can get tats, give tats, get piercings but can’t handle needles that will help you.”

“I’ve told you it ain’t the needles, it’s them creepy ass Dr.’s doing it.”

“Anyway, are you over your drama dilemma?” Gwen asked.

“Yea, yea! Now let’s get to more pressing matters. How’s it going controlling the issue you got with Ayden?” Jocelyn voice changed to amusement, irritating Trey more.

“Oh my, are you freaking serious? No issue and no need to control it if it aint there.”

“Really? Than why did you set another fight yesterday and put yourself back on, mind you, going off the list once again and fighting the same guy twice.”

“The ass I beat wanted a rematch and I figured since he was bumped up the list I through him off and to be fair I would give him another shot at me and plus the new bloods needed a taste of what they train for. Now if we could please move on to actual pressing matters.”

“What’s more pressing, Hon?” Gwen drawled sarcastically and out of character. Trey only shot her a look and stored that out of character moment for another time, “The
bar tonight to celebrate! Who’s coming?”

“What are we celebrating?” Jos said wiggling her brows.

“We are celebrating the making of new bloods of course, they caught on well last night.”

“We have about fifteen so far that has text with a definite yes and a few maybes.” Gwen elaborated.

“Sweet, now let’s get the signs on, I see a couple guys waiting on us standing outside.” Jocelyn skipped to the door and flung it open yelling out, “We are back in business, come on in and enjoy some pain given by women!” Gwen shook her head as she turned the lights on. To work they all went.

He had another issue needing fixing. He didn’t have to be at work tonight and wondered how he would occupy the rest of his time trying to keep Trey off his mind. Dane came in an antagonizing-pacing hour later and fell to the couch. “Boy, I got some talk for you.”

  “What’s that?”

“That chic that runs the fights, ya know the one who spoke last night.”

“Yea, I got that. What about her?” He was all attention a bit too eagerly and Dane took notice. “Well people are whispering, ya know ‘cause they can’t or aren’t supposed to talk about it. Whatever. Anyway they are saying something is up with her. Apparently she follows the list strictly but went off it and that she added two more fights the past week more than usual.”

“What do you mean? I don't get it explain further.”

“I guess she only fights like once a month and she only holds them about once every other week but six days ago she called one and fought a guy that had to win two more fights before he would fight her. She bumped him up the list, something she never does. Than last night she fought him again which apparently she never does that either.”

“Huh, I wonder if it’s because it’s a new year and she did it for the freshman that joined.”

“Yeah, that’s the story but a few people said that she was acting different, like something was bothering her and she just needed a fight.”

“Huh, well anyway what are we doing tonight?” He had to say it, to get her off his mind and out of the conversation before Dane noticed. There was so many questions racing threw his head that he wished they were on a bike and could get off the damn highway of thoughts already.

“Why don’t we go to the bar, it would be nice to have my wing man instead of a bartender.”

“I could go for a few more shots than normal. Go get ready so we can go.” Dane hopped up and went to the shower. While Ayden slumped back on the couch. It was about six days ago when he saw her, could he have made her need a fight? The guy she brought home last night; was it just him or was it all of them? She never fought someone twice and apparently she fought him twice so maybe it was only him she brought home. He had to know. He had to see her.

As they were walking to the bar he got an idea. He could stop at her shop and get her to touch up one of his other tats. He would see her and he had a good reason. He would just tell her how he got a piece of a tat almost every night back home and he found no others yet and was feening for the pain. He would seem a bit weak but he didn’t care, he had to see her. “How about we swing by the lead girls shop first so I can get some work done?”

“Yeah, sure. I didn’t know you knew where it was?”

“Yeah, I found it last week. Trey did one of my tats two days in a row before she kicked me out for sticking up for her with some jerk. I’m sure she got over it by now.” He shrugged hoping the gesture would make Dane not think more into it.

“Trey? She’s the leader and she gave you a tat and kicked you out of her shop and you still got put on the list? Oh yea and you didn’t tell me about any of it.”

“We’ve been busy and yea I got on the list because I’m sure she knows she can make money on me.”

“Yea but, oh wait that’s why you’ve been all fucked up lately, it started that night you couldn’t find your way home. You were coming from her place.”

“Yeah so, but no not why I’ve been fucked up, I told you, I just need a fight.”

“Yeah okay, whatever man, you got the hots for Trey. You don’t do that shit what’s so special about her? I mean, I know, but really you?”

“Ya know what? We’re done talking about it. You do know me, end of bitch conversation.” They went a ways in quiet before it hit Dane, “Wholly fuck it was the same night she apparently got fucked up and conjured up a fight. What did you do to her?”

“Me? Come on man! What would I do to her? You saw the girl.”

“I don’t know you’re different, you aint like all the rest of us schmucks. She would take notice to you, I heard she normally don’t date, maybe she was just waiting out for someone different and you'd defiantly fit.” He shrugged like that was it; it made all the sense in the world, but Ayden knew different, she was fucking a guy last night.

“Really? Are we really having some kind of bitch talk? You know me man.”

“Yea, that’s my point.” When they rounded the corner his bit of excitement along with his irritation from Dane disappeared and what appeared just annoyed him; utter disappointment. He wanted to see her and the place was closed and he couldn’t. “Well it’s closed, let’s go to the bar.”

After closing up shop the ladies walked down to the bar. It was packed but that's what Trey wanted. She wanted to get drunk, dance, hang out with the girls and have a grand ‘ol time. She bought the first round of shots for the ones that showed and doubled her own Jack before downing half a beer. Then she pulled the girls to the dance floor. She would have fun tonight, she would let loose and enjoy college life. She’s worked harder this week than she has in a while and she needed to let loose some of that amped up nerves. She was back in control fully and that Ayden boy would not change it. After a couple songs she headed back to the bar for another beer when she spotted him and went to flee back where she came from. She stopped dead, demanding her control, she doesn’t flee, ‘what the hell is wrong with me?’ She thought as Gwen came up beside her. “You good, Chic?”

“Ah, yea I just spun a little coming off the dance floor, I’m good! Ya need another beer?”

“Yeah!” Gwen walked ahead. Trey kept her eyes on Ayden he was facing to his right talking to some girl. Trey felt a pang of jealousy she so badly wanted to shake; to get rid of it. Why should she be, he was not hers in any way and she did not want him to be. Than Gwen cut right in front of him. ‘Oh my goddess, seriously Gwen.’ She was hoping that he would be too busy to even see her but Gwen completely squashed that. She walked up behind her and Ayden glanced her way and opened his eyes a bit wider than turned back to Gwen pulling out his wallet. ‘Oh hell no! He would not buy their drinks.’ She leaned over Gwen’s shoulder, shot the bartender a look, “Hey chic put it on my tab, please.” Then grabbed her beer and Gwen’s arm to pull her away. “What was that?”

“I just wanna dance, come on!” She masked her annoyance, maybe a bit of jealousy pretty darn good.

“Than dance with me,” Ayden said grabbing Trey's hand and lacing his fingers with hers.

“Ha, I don’t dance with boys,” she said with confidence as she went to remove her hand from his. He felt her pull and he gripped harder then ran his thumb along the inside of her wrist hoping to seduce her with his touch. He could any female. All he had to do to the tough ones was show pleading in his eyes so he flashed them to her and she laughed. “Oh, honny that sorry pleading look aint gonna work on me,” she leaned into him to whisper in his ear, “and it is not a look that looks good on you.” He gripped her hip and pulled her closer to him and whispered in her ear, “Than what look does look good on me, you must have noticed one that caught your eye or you wouldn’t have said that.”

“Your right I have seen one look that excited me,” she pulled back to see his eyes and said, “Your defeated look excited me enough to make you leave. Bye.” There was a flash of his defeat in his eyes but to her surprise he smiled a devious smile and she huffed before moving him out of her way so she could join the ladies.<

She had a five second pep talk with her-self-control before Jocelyn grabbed her and pulled her to the floor but not without asking, “You good?” She only shot her a glare and started to dance when Jocelyn’s eyes went a bit wider with a hesitant smile. Trey figured it was a guy she was interested in but to her surprise again, hands latched onto her hips and started to rock with her. She knew she couldn’t have a quick motion or it would show that his touch, his closeness got to her. So after a few moves she turned acting like she was gonna face him to make him let go and she danced her way away from him and to the other side of Jos. Hoping that she would barricade her from him. But go figure it was a no go. Jocelyn turned to face her, “I’m going to grab a drink,” with a wink and Trey could have killed her.

He wouldn’t grab her again; he didn’t want to be out with a third strike of her getting away from him tonight, but if he danced close enough to her, it might just do what he wanted. He wanted her to have him on her mind. She turned her back to him but he knew she would be thinking about if he was still behind her. ‘Perfect,’ he thought as a girl crossed in front of him to dance. He let her wrap her arms around his neck and grabbed a hip with one hand and laid the other on the small of her back close to her ass. ‘When Trey turns around she won’t be able to handle it.’ Than she did and she laughed.

She shot her hand up to cover her unexpected response. ‘Of course he would give up and go to the easy type.’ Another unexpected happened he dropped his hands and stalked off with defeat screaming from his eyes. She lost the laugh with an idea and danced while watching him walk away to the bar to take a seat. She just had to rub it in, just a little. She walked over to the bar up behind him and motioned for a beer then leaned in. “She was more your type; easy that is.” She leaned over him to grab her beer off the bar and pushed against him so he couldn’t turn to face her, while she did. The timing was perfect. By the time he turned around her back was to him walking away. She was the victor again. ‘Win,’ she thought as she clinked her beer up against Gwen’s and started to dance just a bit wilder than before.
