Cassandra smiled, hugging the two of them. Even though there was a bit of a prejudice there, mainly due to the fact that they were worried that he was only there to sexualize her, for Cassandra, she felt like there was more to this man than what met the eye. She wanted to be his, and Owen seemed willing to take the risks as well.
When she got back, Owen was already there. He stood up, embracing her gently.
“Everything go okay today?” he asked.
“Yeah. I just had a good talk with my two best friends. I told them about you, and although they are worried, I think it’ll be all right. I don’t mind taking risks, especially if it’s with you,” she admitted.
That was the truth in all of this. She wanted to take the risks that were associated with this, because it seemed so right in her mind. But in truth, she didn’t know what to think, because it could spell disaster when she met his family.
“Well good. I’m glad that they don’t mind. You want to still teach music, right? If you want, I actually have a small group of employees that are interested in music training. If you want, maybe you can work with them. Or you can even play music in the dining hall at my work. It would be really nice to hear you when I’m at lunch,” he offered.
She was shocked that he was even giving her a chance at this job.
“Thank you so much Owen. I would love that,” she admitted.
“Good. We’ll iron out the details later on. For now, let’s just enjoy the company of each other,” he told her.
They spent the night curled up on the couch in the penthouse suite, both of them sitting and talking about life. For Casandra, this was the first time she had ever felt so strongly about this man, and it made sense in a way.
She knew for a fact that it was definitely going to get better, and she knew that if it was going to turn out okay, then it would make her feel better. She had a great feeling about this relationship, and in truth, she was ready for whatever might come next, and whatever trials they may face, because she knew that they would do so together.
Chapter Five
The next couple of days were spent with both of them sitting and talking when he wasn’t at work. They also went out to dinner in a concealed manner so that people didn’t stop him, and even when they did he would tell them that he wasn’t Owen chancellor.
Some people did look at Owen funny, mainly because of his date, especially since Cassandra was a bit bigger and the fact that she was black. But soon, people started to ignore them, and it made her feel better about things. She was happy that they could have some semblance of privacy in a sense.
That’s when she realized she was falling in love with him.
Owen was such a charmer, and everything he said oozed sexuality, making her feel excited about every single word that came out of his mouth. Their conversations were deep and poignant, and when she played for him the first time, he admitted that she was a goddess when she did strike the chords. It was amazing to be appreciated like this, and for Cassandra, she felt like it was only going to get better.
However, there was one final hurdle they had to face, and that was his parents. They arranged to go back to Britain together, and she would get to see what his home was like. She felt nervous though, mainly because of how his parents would act around him and her.
She wasn’t the conventional girl that he was supposed to bring home, but rather, a girl that wasn’t what he was expecting either. When they got there, they immediately made a beeline for where his parents were, and when they got there, his mom and dad looked at the two of them with a questioning glance.
“Hello there Owen,” his mother said.
“Hey mum. Dad. I have something to tell you,” he offered.
“Is it about your answer regarding Regina’s message?” his father asked.
That was awkward. Was he already engaged to some girl? This would only turn disastrous if that was the case.
“Yes, I do have an answer. It’s a resounding no. I don’t want to take her up on that offer. I’ve told you time and time again that I’m not into that sort of thing, and I don’t really like her,” he told them.
“Why not? She’s a duchess, and you’re a duke. The two of you would be perfect together, and her family owns a lot of stock in your company,” his father asked.
This was where things got very awkward for both of them. He sighed, turning to Cassandra, who was trying her best to hide and be a plant in the room.
“This is Cassandra. I met her in New York. S he’s a music teacher, and she’s amazing. To be honest, I want to be with her. I don’t know about marriage or any of that yet, we’re taking things slow. But I don’t want to just run off and marry some girl that I don’t really like. I’ve never felt any connection with that woman, and in truth, I don’t really like her. I know that you’re probably disappointed, but it’s my life, my company, and my rules,” he told his parents.
The sudden gut-wrenching feeling he got when standing up for Cassandra resonated over him. He couldn’t believe that he said that, and immediately, his parents looked at him with a judging glance.
“But she’s not white, no is she rich,” his mother stated.
“I know that. In truth, I don’t want just ay snooty rich girl, I want someone else who will make me happy. I don’t want to be just another rich dude who marries someone that he doesn’t love. I know that you two were arranged, but you were a rare circumstance. I want to be with her, because in truth, I’ve fallen for her. I know that t’s hard for you to understand that, but I’m ready for you to accept me and what I want, rather than what society wants. I have the company grounded, so I don’t need to be threatened with public humiliation or that shit. I know what I’m doing, so just let me live,” he told his parents.
There was a resounding pause, and both his mom and dad were in shock.
“The nerve of you!” his mother said.
“Mom, quiet down! I’ve been running the company for five years. I know what I’m doing, and frankly, I haven’t needed a woman in the five years I’ve been working, so I shouldn’t have a woman determine the future of my company. Besides, Cassandra is a gorgeous woman, a real charmer, and someone that I love,” he told them.
They paused, both of them in shock. Then, his father spoke.
“There is nothing we can do to change your mind, is there?” he asked Owen.
“No father. I want to be with her, and I want to make her happy,” he told them.
His mother grew annoyed, but when his father looked at his mother once again, she sighed.
“Fine. I guess we’re okay with this. But you’ll be taking care of her. We’re not going to help either of you unless you desperately need it,” she demanded.
“I never said that. You gave me the company and told me to work on it on my own, which I did. Now I’m expanding my life, and I want to cultivate a relationship with this woman,” he told them.
They nodded. “Fine. Just please leave,” his father said.
Cassandra looked at him with worried eyes, but then, Owen grasped her hand, leading her out of there and over to the private room. They got in there and he looked at her.
“Well, I guess they said yes. It’s hard, because they always assumed I would marry Regina, but I fucking hate her. She’s an uncouth brat who’s only in it for the money, not the type of woman that I want to be with,” he explained.
“That’s understandable,” she told him.
“Yeah. I’m sorry you had to see that, but for now, let’s head somewhere more private. I want to show you my place,” he said.
They went over to where his home was, and when they got there he closed the door. It was like a castle, but a bit smaller, of course larger than anything she could ever afford. They went over to the bedroom, and in truth, it was more like a mini home in there, with a lounge space, a bed, and even the kitchen and bathroom attached.
“This place is gorgeous,” she told him.
“Thank you. I try to keep it at least somewhat orderl
y. But I’m happy to have brought you here. It does mean a lot to me that you’re with me,” he told Cassandra.
Casandra blushed but then, he pulled her close, letting his arms cover her backside and hold her there for a bit. He breathed in her scent, sighing in contentment.
“I did mean what I said back there,” he told her.
She pulled away, looking at him with wide eyes.
“You mean, about the fact that you love me?” she replied with a blush.
“Yes. I meant that like no other. I do think I’ve fallen for you Cassandra. I’ve dated girls in the past that I thought I loved, but most of them were just fake feelings and the truth was hidden away for a while until I realized it. But with you, I feel a fluttery sensation, a need to make you happy, and a want to be something more. I love you so much, and I know that it is moving fast, but I feel like it will be okay. I feel like no matter what the odds, no matter what happens next, everything will be all right,” he told her.
She listened to this, feeling the same way.
“I guess that makes two of us,” she told him.
“Good, because I want you right now, and I want to make you mine once again,” he said to her.
He pulled her onto the bed, pushing her down so that she was splayed out under him, and he loomed over her. The tension was strong once again, but once he kissed her, everything changed and the feelings that they had for one another only grew stronger with time, and the desire to have one another filling them yet again.
Chapter Six
For Cassandra, she never thought that she would get to be like this with him, in such an intimidating way. But then, as he kissed her hard, she started to kiss him back, reciprocating the gesture.
She then started to feel his tongue lightly push against the edge of her mouth. She started to open p, and that’s when he pushed it in, and soon, she let it mingle with his. It was hot, that’s for sure, and she definitely was ready for more action.
He then started to move his tongue even deeper, massaging against her own wet muscle as his hands draped over her curves. The touches were so intoxicating, the feeling so strong that she didn’t know what to think, but in truth, she wanted more. She wanted more from this man that she had never felt for another.
This was the first time she had ever felt the feeling of love, but when he pulled away and grinned at her, she felt her heart flutter.
His lisp trailed down to her neck, lightly licking and touching the edges of it before he started to move further down, loving the way that she gasped in pleasure at the sudden feeling of his lips sinking into the part of her neck that was super sensitive. She loved this, and he definitely felt the excitement as well.
He started to move his tongue down her body, lightly scraping it against her chest and flicking it over her collarbone before changing it to little love bites. He got to the edge of her shirt, practically throwing it off of her and examining her lovely, curvy body.
The feeling of his hands against her body made her moan, and she definitely was excited about what might happen next. Soon, he let his hands roam over to the edge of her bust, gripping her breasts and massaging them. He smiled as she moaned in wanton pleurae at the feeling that she got from this, and for Owen, this was a dream come true. He loved her squishy breasts, the feeling of her curves as he draped them down his body, and soon, he started to pull her bra off with ease.
She felt exposed when the garment tumbled down, and he looked at her with a look of lustful desire. He started to let his fingers drape over her nipples, the palms caressing the sensitive skin there.
For Cassandra, this was something else, and she let out a small moan of desire as he continued to touch and tease the area. She felt like she was in heaven, and with every other touch, every little caress that he did, she felt happy in a sense, like it was the pleurae that she wanted and craved.
He then replaced one of his hands with his tongue, lapping at the nipple while one of his other hands went down to the apex of her legs, touching and pushing the fabric of her panties away to reveal her aching pussy. He let his fingers drift in and out of her wet cunt, and her body was already starting to feel hot with pleasure. It felt so good, the pleasure so intense, that she didn’t know what else to do other than to give into it and to feel even more
He then pulled his fingers out, licking them before he undid the button on his pants and fully removed her panties and skirt. In front of her was his aching cock, and after he slid a condom on top of it, he spread her legs apart, slithering into her.
It felt different from before. Sure the alcohol and the raw pleasure of doing it against the wall did make a difference but this was something else. As he pushed in and out of her, she started to moan with every single thrust, enjoying the way that this felt. He continued to move in and out of her in a fast manner, loving the way that it felt as she ached and cried out against his body.
She loved the friction created between them, the sounds that he made as she started to move her hips a tiny bit against his own body. All of this felt like heaven to her, and she didn’t want to leave.
After a couple of thrusts, she felt him tense up, and that’s when he angled his hips a little bit. When that happened, for Cassandra, she felt like time had stopped as her back arched up and her body shook with wanton, raw pleasure. Within moments she let out a moan of pleasure, coming hard against him, and she could feel the warm liquid as he spilled out as well, feeling content with the way everything was.
After a moment or so, he pulled out, looking at her with a smile.
“Did you like that, princess?” he asked her.
“I did. Thank you so much for choosing me. I don’t know, it feels almost magical in a sense to be with you, like this is a dream,” she admitted. She never thought that the right man would come into her life, right in front of her and ready to be wither. He thought that she was destined to a life of only having shitty men, but in truth, this was the breath of fresh air that she wanted and the one that she needed.
“Well remember, that your knight in shining armor is always out there, so don’t worry about it. You’re okay, and I’m ready to make you happy,” he told her.
She smiled, pulling him into her arms, and planting a kiss that was unlike anything she had ever felt before against his lips. After a moment or so, she pulled away, smiling at him.
“Well don’t worry, because I’m happy to be with you, and I’m ready for whatever the future may bring me,” she told him with a smile.
For the first time ever, she felt like she was in love. This was what love was, and she knew that there wasn’t any doubt about it. She knew that this was the right man for her, even though it might be rough for a bit.
Sure, she might not be on the best terms with his family, but she was sure that after a bit, it would be okay, and she would be able to figure out what to do regarding it. Besides, they didn’t know her for sure yet, but she was ready to make his life better.
After a bit, she got set up at the music school, teaching people there. The relationship was easy for her, and after a long day, she would come home to see him. In truth, it was the best feeling in the world, and after a bit, she got along with his parents as well, bonding over music.
For Casandra, this felt so right, and she knew that Owen was the perfect man for her. Sure, the relationship wasn’t what she was expecting, but at the end of the day, the only thing that mattered was happiness.
For the first time ever, she felt happy, satisfied, and ready to take on life, and she knew that the night out changed her for the better and set her on the path to happiness.

A Knight in Paris
Part 1 - Coffee and Confusion
What could be more beautiful than the rain kissing the lonely streets? What could be more pleasant than the sense of complete tiredness when it was reso
lved in the cup of hot espresso?
Those simple pleasures were found by her in Paris. She could smell the rain behind the closed window and see how the raindrops were caressing the huge wet and clean window glasses of the small humble cafe in the center of Paris.
What she loved about that cafe and chose it to enjoy the black hot bitter liquid was that the place and atmosphere gave her relaxation and complete rest after three hectic days of conference. She was sitting there alone without her colleagues.
The need not to rush but stop and breathe drove her to this lest noisy place. Oh yes, there were actually quiet places even in the greatest and craziest cities in the world. Her gaze was wandering over passer-byes who seemed to be Russian, Italian, African, American based on their appearance and number of features.
