Climax for Six [Wolves of Climax 7] (Siren Publishing LoveXtreme Forever - Serialized) Page 5

by Stacey Espino

“More,” she murmured, her arms wrapped securely around his shoulders.

His eyes lolled back in his head once he stopped fighting the shift. Of all the women he’d bedded over the years, none brought his beast to the surface like Cassidy. He only allowed his fangs to emerge, but he knew his eyes would be slightly inhuman. Travis secured her hips as he pistoned in and out of her. His cock was swollen and ready to release, but he had to hold back long enough.

“Do it,” said Patrick, urgency coloring his tone. “Bite her.”

Her body tensed slightly after his pack mate spoke the last two words, so he acted before she became too skittish. She knew what she was getting into after finding out about their wolfen heritage. There was no way any of them were letting her walk out of their lives now.

Travis pulled back enough to get a good look at the smooth, pale plane of her neck. Then he struck his target, sinking his fangs into her skin. He felt every minute detail, the barely audible crack of her skin and the surge of blood that followed. He suckled her wound, her blood the most decadent thing he’d ever tasted. It flowed over his tongue like silken threads, consuming him like a virus. Only Travis wanted to be taken, to be used by this specific human female. And human was all he could taste.

She mewled as he spilled inside her cunt, one final thrust sealing their personal bond. Mine. He’d barely removed his teeth before Patrick grabbed a handful of her hair, tugging her head back.

“Tell me you want my cock, little one.” Patrick had watched and waited. Now he was more animal than man, ready to claim Cassidy for himself, too.

  “Y–Yes…”

  “You don’t sound too convincing.”

She still appeared boneless from her last orgasm, weak, her eyes at half-mast. Patrick showed no mercy, not under the urgent circumstances. He shoved Travis to the side and then flipped Cassidy around until she was down on her knees.

  * * * *

Patrick admired Cassidy’s lush ass. Her curves challenged his control on a good day, and today was complete chaos. After demanding the pack keep their fangs in check for months, Garret had finally given the go-ahead to mark Cassidy. In fact, he wanted in done in haste.

Before Cassidy showed up in Climax, Patrick never expected to fall in love. Certainly not with a human. His hatred of humankind ran deep, and shutting out emotion had become a part of who he was. Now everything had changed—thanks to one slip of a woman. When Patrick had been alone with her in the cave, something beautiful had happened. He finally gave up the past and accepted love into his life. There was no turning back after that. Now Patrick had been given permission to complete the bond he’d started with his mate. She’d be his forever, and any wolf or man to dispute his claim would pay with his life.

“Tell me, Travis, is our little mate as human as she appears?”

  “Taste for yourself.”

He couldn’t wait. The soft curve of her backbone was accentuated by her sloping position on the forest floor. Her hair cascaded into the leaves, the natural browns and oranges blending into one. He gripped her hips as he admired every inch of her feminine beauty. Knowing she was his made his cock hard as steel.

She wiggled her ass, signaling she was getting impatient. He’d heard stories about the love bite, although he’d never experienced anything firsthand. It was supposed to act as an aphrodisiac, enabling the female of a pack to easily and eagerly accept all the shifters in one night. Their world was complex, but also simple. One female per pack was the way of their kind for as long as he could remember.

“I don’t want you begging just yet, little human. Let me play a while first.” Patrick let the hard length of his cock rub against her clit as he leaned over her back. With one hand, he fondled her pert breasts. He absorbed her scent, her essence, fully aware he was about to bond with Cassidy for the rest of his life. There was no inkling of fear, no dread of commitment. This was what he wanted, and his wolf agreed. She had to be marked, a permanent symbol of his loyalty.

  “Please,” she whined.

“Don’t torture her, Red. Give her what she wants before the fire swallows us whole.”

He ignored Travis, and he ignored his woman. When she begged for his cock, it only made him harder. The longer he forced her to wait, the more receptive she’d be when he finally filled her with his dick. It wasn’t easy stalling when he was primed to go, but taking the time to sample her body was a still a treat. He licked the back of her neck and then gently nipped her shoulder blades. Her little moans and sighs were erotic music to his ears.

“Oh God. Please, Patrick. I’ll die if you don’t fuck me.”

He chuckled. “You’ll die? My, that sounds serious. But do I believe you?”

Patrick pulled back, and he could see the clear fluid escaping down her inner thigh. He fought the urge to lap at her folds, determined to show he had more self-control than he did.

“Garret did something to me. You have to ease my pain.”

Patrick impaled two fingers into her pussy and pressed the tip of his thumb against her asshole. “What he did was natural, little one. A wolf’s mark is made to arouse a female, to make her wanton and agreeable for any kind of sexual play.”

  “It’s getting worse.”

“That’s because I’ve added my bite, darlin’,” said Travis. “Each new addition will only make it stronger. There’re five of us.”

If she was this anxious now, how would she be after another three markings? They’d have to fuck her all night, hard and long, just to calm her a degree.

He couldn’t hold off any longer. Besides, Travis was right. The sound of the approaching fire line was closing in around them. Patrick grabbed the base of his erection and forced his way into Cassidy’s tight little pussy, still moist from Travis’s release. She cried out as if he’d both killed and saved her. He continued when she pushed back to meet him stroke for stroke. As he held her hips, pulling her in with each thrust, his claws broke free. He fought to keep his feral nature in check, but it was winning over.

Patrick needed his alpha’s guidance or some divine help from above. He swore he’d sprout fur any second.

Cassidy cried out, arousing him further. Her delicate, pale skin was a stark contrast to the rustic browns and greens decorating the landscape. He had her naked and under his control. Control he was about to lose.

“I won’t bite hard,” he lied. Patrick rammed into her, spurred on by her demanding cries for more cock. She was insatiable. They wouldn’t double team her now. She’d have to wait until the forest was safe and they could all enjoy her at their leisure. His mind and loyalties were torn in several directions.

When his release built up to intolerable levels, he hoisted her upper body up off the forest floor, his cock still hard in her cunt. He used one hand to tease her clit, and he used his other arm to secure her to his chest. Patrick’s cock throbbed inside her, ready to fill her with his cum. That’s when he made his move, sinking his lengthened incisors into the thick muscle at the base of her neck. He growled as he bit down, savoring every sensation.

Cassidy screamed, the sound tapering off into a satisfied moan. He couldn’t seem to let go. Her taste and sweet scent were addicting. Just one bite would never be enough. Her blood acted as a cohesive agent, blending the man and wolf until the lines were blurry. Part of him had hoped she was a wolf, allowing him to continue his hatred of humans. But she was not. His little human was delicate, nothing savage about her genetics. He’d love her nonetheless.

“I can feel you milking my cock, Cassidy.” He continued to massage her clit as she rode out her orgasm. “Let it all go.” Patrick lapped at his bite mark, the mark of his claiming. Everything felt right, as if this was the path meant for him since before he was born. The world may have hardened him, teaching his harsh lessons about trust and humanity. But his little mate managed to soften him with her innocence and unconditional love. Besides joining the Gregor Pack, this was the first decision he was proud of.

  Although h
e wanted to hold her for as long as possible, to savor the moment of their bonding until the new sun rose in the morning, he could scent danger.

“Patrick!” Travis’s harsh whisper was the last thing spoken before his pack mate shifted into his fur. The pale wolf bared its fangs, its head low and menacing. It was looking off into the dense forest, likely sensing the same foreboding presence.

Patrick eased from Cassidy’s body, moving slow and stealthily. She collapsed downward, only turning her head slightly to look up at him. Her pupils were still dilated, and would likely remain so until the mating ceremony was complete. It would be difficult for her to focus on logical tasks when her body was being bombarded with potent wolfen hormones. Only two more bites to go.

He still worried for Evan. Was his friend crazy enough to seek out the loggers on his own, to face the heart of the fire because the past still haunted him? If Patrick could learn to let go, so could Evan.

The glowing eyes of a wolf became visible as their challenger closed in. Patrick couldn’t yet decipher who they were dealing with. Cassidy’s fatal attraction was still roaming the forest, and Corbin was determined to take what was theirs, as he always had. Rather than speculating, he shifted into the red wolf, shaking out his thick coat once on all fours. His muscles radiated energy, his wolf looking forward to a good fight. It had been too long in his opinion.

When the eyes retreated, consumed by darkness, he lunged forward, not willing to let the wolf get away so easily. He gave chase, leaping over downed logs and darting around gnarled roots. Travis was at his side, his fur occasionally brushing against him.

“I’ll go right and we’ll cut him off,” said Travis.

They split up. Patrick ran so fast that his muscles burned from exertion, but he wouldn’t let some lone wolf escape without questioning. There were too many threats in Climax. Every outsider had to be taken as a potential threat.

The dark wolf stopped after being pinned in the corner of a rocky outcropping. Patrick moved in, step for step with Travis. They’d run long and hard, his heartbeat loud in his ears. Patrick wouldn’t put up intruders on Gregor land, just as Garret wouldn’t.

The stranger began to shift, changing into a human form, no regard for his safety in the face of two wolves.

  “Ryder?”

“I don’t trust him. Rockford blood runs through his veins as deep as his brother’s,” said Travis.

“You shouldn’t be worried about me.”

Patrick growled, baring his fangs, his ears back. He wasn’t in the mood for games. Ryder appeared too confident, even cocky. Cassidy said Corbin had attacked Matthew. Were the Rockford wolves finally taking extreme steps to take over Climax? How much would they risk to get what they wanted?

“If I were you, I’d be worried about your female.” He winked. “Apparently, she’s hard to ignore.”

His blood flash froze. They’d run so far from their original location. He hadn’t even thought twice about Cassidy’s safety. He’d scared off the threat, but it had only been a diversion.

  Chapter Six

Cassidy finally picked herself up off the ground, her body weak and pliant. She felt like a cat in heat. The only thing on her mind was sex. It became difficult to focus, and even harder to decide on her next move. The love bites acted like illicit drugs, distorting fantasy and reality. Patrick and Travis had marked her, their connection with her instantly strengthened. It felt good to finally belong, to have a sense of family and completion. She couldn’t explain the phenomenon, but it was as if they’d branded her with their own personal seals, binding them as one.

  And she wanted more sex.

Cassidy danced into her pants, using a tree trunk for balance. Where had Patrick and Travis rushed off to? She was used to her men’s territorial nature. Hopefully they’d be back soon because the air was getting thick and difficult to breathe. She decided to start walking away from the heat of the fire. The sound of small planes overhead was a comfort. They’d have the forest fire under control soon…at least she hoped they would.

This land was Garret’s life. She couldn’t imagine him not doing his daily perimeter checks. The forest was his lifeblood, and without it part of him would surely die.

She tugged on her shirt as she trudged through the heavy underbrush. This area of the forest was dense, no paths carved out to help her find her way. The sound of heavy breathing behind her initially excited her. Cassidy’s body throbbed with need, the numerous bite marks on her body making it difficult to think of anything but her men. Then she worried if the wolf behind her wasn’t Patrick or Travis.

She stopped in her tracks and slowly turned around. The wolf was dark with grey flecks. It wasn’t one of her pack. But was it a natural wolf, a Rockford shifter, or Peter? Why couldn’t everyone just leave her alone? She’d finally found her place and everyone was trying to take it away from her.

The wolf didn’t appear threatening. Its teeth weren’t bared and its hackles were down. It must be a shifter, but who?

“Is that you, Corbin? I thought I made myself clear. You can’t force someone to love you.”

Where were Patrick and Travis? She backed away from the wolf, too afraid to turn and run in the open. Did Corbin believe she was a wolf, too? Why did everyone continue to believe such nonsense? Even Patrick and Travis could tell she was human after sampling her blood. Garret had just made a mistake. She had to believe that.

  “Peter?”

Part of her hoped it was Corbin. At least she knew who she’d be dealing with. Peter was a loose cannon with some serious issues. She wasn’t sure how far he’d go to get what he wanted. Then again, it was supposedly Corbin who’d set the forest fire.

“Look, the fire’s closing in. We can’t stay here.” Cassidy backed away until she reached some thick briars. She fought her way through and began to run once she reached the other side. When the wolf growled close behind her, she picked up the speed, weaving around trees as she ran.

Laughter echoed within the forest. She stopped dead and listened. It was Peter. She’d recognize that sadistic laugh anywhere. “Where will you go, Cassidy? I’ll always find you.”

  “Go away!”

She started running faster. Fear trickled into her system, overpowering the effects of her love bites.

“You’re already mine. You just don’t realize it yet. My wolf knew there was something different about you from the first time I met you at the office.”

At least if he was talking, it meant he was in his human form. It would give her a better chance to escape, to give her men time to catch up with them. She had to stall because she’d be helpless against a wolf.

“You’ve got me all wrong, Peter. I’m just a normal human being. You’ve made a huge mistake.”

“You had no reservations when the other two marked you. I’m sure you’ll feel the same about me when I’m through.”

Cassidy felt nauseated. Peter wanted to take something sacred and turn it into something meaningless. She’d never willingly share her body or blood with anyone outside of the Gregor Pack.

  “Fuck off!”

The trees began to thin, the large open areas making her an easy target. When she glanced over her shoulder to gauge his distance, she saw a wolf lunging at her. It knocked her to the ground, her hands taking the brunt of the fall before she landed on her stomach. Her air was temporarily forced from her lungs, making it hard to catch her breath. The animal clawed at her clothes, its nails scraping her skin hard enough to make her cry out in pain.

The wolf’s heavy breathing was close to her neck, its nose prodding her as it pinned her to the forest floor. She was terrified he’d try to mark her, to claim her as his. How bad could it be? If he bit her, it would mean nothing. Her heart was taken. Even if a dozen other men forced their mark on her, it would never change how she felt about Garret, Patrick, Evan, Travis, and Matthew. But would they feel the same way?

She struggled with the animal. If Garret found another man’s love bite on h
er, surely his desire would dwindle. The Gregor men were dominant and possessive. They’d never tolerate another bite on their woman. She’d be an outcast, forced to leave Climax with a broken heart. The least she could do was put up the fight of her life.

Cassidy struggled to her knees and began to crawl. The wolf continued to shred strips of her clothes, its razor-sharp teeth grazing her delicate flesh. She knew she was bleeding by now, either from its claws or teeth. And if Peter was anything like a real wolf, the scent of blood would only spur him on, enticing his beast to take greater steps.

“Stop!” she cried. “Leave me alone!”

A flash of red fur was her saving grace. Tears of lost hope had started to cloud her vision, but she quickly wiped them away to witness the action play out. Patrick viciously bit down on Peter’s neck, shaking violently. He looked like a ragdoll. Patrick was nearly twice the size of the other wolf, his intentions unwholesome. Where was Travis?

She decided she should use Patrick’s diversion to get the hell out of there. He was an excellent tracker and could find her once he dealt with Peter. She had no doubt he’d come out on top.

It seemed there were sounds and eyes coming from every dark corner of the woodlands as she journeyed alone through the rough terrain. She wasn’t sure if she should be terrified or intrigued. Even under the circumstances, it was easy to revert to her childhood when everything was magical and her imagination was most vivid. The trees were picturesque, the old-growth forest a fossil from times long past. It was a sin the fire could take so much with it.

The woods began to slope downward, and she could have sworn she saw a roadway in the distance. But between her and the promise of safety was a ragged-looking wolf. It was menacing with penetrating eyes. One moment the path was clear, the next the animal was blocking her path. She’d never seen it before.
