A loud beeping noise from outside took my attention away from the conversation. "What's that noise?" I asked.
"Sounds like another moving truck," said Connor.
The four of us went to the window and looked through the blinds. A moving truck was backing into the driveway across the street. In the yard, a couple about our age was taking a selfie in front of a sold sign. The guy was tall and muscular and looked kind of ethnic. It wouldn't surprise me if he had some sort of exotic accent.
