  1. Starting out: Danny’s early work saw him take on a variety of roles, and sport a range of looks, notably as a long-haired youth in Cadfael, 1995.

  14. Crush: Danny was absolutely thrilled to work with Gillian Anderson in Straightheads in 2007. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the movie was his last to see a wide release in UK cinemas.

  15. Low point: Danny made a succession of unsuccessful low-budget independent movies, which started with City Rats in 2009 (at the London premiere with director Steve Kelly and Tamer Hassan.
