Welcome to Hell (Ops Warriors Book 7) Page 12

“Yeah but he is an idiot,” Blade said, and Shark turned and looked at him.

  “True,” he said.

Then Fork said loudly, “Okay, tonight is a go!”

The four women sat in the Hummer two blocks from where the guys were getting ready to grab that fucker. Rebel could almost not contain herself as she thought about finally doing what needed to be done to get her family’s vengeance. Her father had called ten minutes ago, they wouldn’t be in San Diego for another two days, which was perfect. It could be done and handled, and her father could deal with it.

Blade and Shark were waiting outside the hotel for Pete while the other guys were on either end of the street. In a minute, Pete would receive a text from Mr. Reid, telling him to meet him at a warehouse close to where his offices were. It would say it was urgent; of course, it would be from Boony.

Tank, Ox, and Ridge were currently at the warehouse waiting for them. They had gotten the specific things Shady asked for, and even though it scared the crap out of them that she had known the specific names for some of these things, they had promised to be the lookout. At least they promised that Georgie and Bob were the last they would take on as Lady Riders. With the new additions they added, they felt their club was big enough. That was one thing the men would happy about.

Shady flashed her lights when Boony texted he sent the text to Pete. They had waited for ten minutes before the asshole came running out of his room, and Shark flashed his back, so they knew they were going to be on the run. Rebel tensed as they watched the prick pull out on his bike. Shady fell behind him while the guys rode in front of him and behind the Hummer, just in case he spotted one of them.

It was hard, knowing what was waiting for her. Rebel felt like she had been holding her breath for an hour by the time they were within blocks of the warehouse. The traffic was light, which was good, but as they moved to the entrance, suddenly Pete shot forward, accelerating quickly and running through a red light.

“Fuck,” Shady said as she pushed down on the floor. “Call the guys, something tipped him off.”

Harmony grabbed her phone and made the call. Rebel saw Blade and Shark pass the Hummer, they were weaving in and out of traffic following Pete who was making a run for it. How the fuck had he caught on?

“Bastard,” Harmony snapped into the phone, and she threw it against the dash. “Boony said he got a text from Reid right before the last light we stopped at. He told him to go to another location.”

“Where?” Shady ground out and looked in her rearview mirror.

“Two miles ahead on your left. It’s a bar,” Harmony snapped.

“Great,” Freedom said. “There will be too many people.”

Rebel sat back, she wasn’t going to get her revenge, the fucker had like a goddammed angel on his shoulder. How in the fuck did he catch all the breaks? Thoughts were flying through her head, she just didn’t know anymore.

Harmony’s phone rang. “Yeah?” She listened and said, “Hang on.”

She hung up the phone, and she turned and looked at Rebel. “Your choice, we bag it, go back to the hotel, check back in, or the Furies bring their emergency pack, and we figure out how to do it here.”

“In front of witnesses?” Freedom asked in a shocked voice.

“Maybe, maybe not,” Harmony said, and Rebel thought about it, could she do it, could she kill in cold blood? Up until now, she thought she could. But then, she also knew for the last few days she had backup. If they went through with this, either she did it or they bagged it. She looked up when she felt the Hummer turning into a parking lot. Shady pulled into the back where Blade was standing waiting, Shark’s cut was on his bike, he must be inside.

“Tell them to bring it,” she whispered.

Harmony relayed the message and Blade opened her door and looked up at her. “Shark is inside.”

She nodded and then slid down out of the Hummer, and Blade’s arms surrounded her. “I am sorry, sweetheart.”

She shook her head and then said, “The Furies are bringing their emergency bag.”

Blade frowned as he leaned back and stared at her, he knew what the Furies usually had in the emergency kit. She was either going to need to get close to Pete or one of them would. He would gladly take care of the problem, but he already knew from the look in her eyes, Rebel was going to be the one to do this. He nodded, and they stood there for a few minutes, and then they heard the roar of the pipes and the Furies pulled into the lot.

Tank and Ox got off their bikes while Ridge pulled around the front, making it look like they weren’t together, then he entered the bar. Ox motioned them over, the Lady Riders got out of the Hummer and followed, showing their support of Rebel by not taking over.

Tank stared at Rebel, and he nodded. “You have two choices, we have a pressure injector that will take him out quickly, or the more messy way and use this,” he said and held out a pen, and clicked the button and a small spear appeared. “The spear is tipped with a fast acting poison, but there will be a lot of blood and a lot of yelling while with the pressure injector he will not feel anything. If you hit him, we can sit back and watch.”

“Which is more painful?” Rebel said flatly without showing emotion.

“Pressure injector,” Ox said quickly, “it will make him feel like his insides are on fire.”

She nodded and took the small little container and looked at it. “How does it work?”

While Tank explained to her how to use it, the rest of them waited, forming a small circle around them so no one would see what was going on. Five minutes later, the four women were walking into the club alone. The three men waited for a beat or two and then followed.

Rebel looked around the club, then allowed Freedom to pull her arm and lead her around the room until they found a table. Rebel’s eyes swept the room as they walked looking for her target. She saw Shark, and he motioned to her, in the back corner, Pete was sitting there by himself with a drink in front of him, staring at his phone. She nodded and then Freedom pulled her down into her chair.

“Okay,” Shady said slowly and then she stood. She pulled out the rubber band that was holding Rebel’s long hair. Then she ran her fingers through it a few times, lifting and shaking it. When she was done, she grabbed a knife out of her belt and then slashed her Harley shirt at the collar, and then once again at the bottom. Tearing it until it was a crop top, showing her cleavage. Shady stepped back and then snapped her fingers at Freedom who dug through her purse and handed Shady some lipstick. Rebel frowned when she saw the color was a dark red. Shrugging, she allowed Shady to use that, as well as cover-up. By the time she was done, she snapped her fingers again, and Harmony pushed a mirror to her. Picking it up, Shady turned it toward Rebel, and she said, “This right here, is a Lady Rider, look at her good. We have all been there, right where you’re sitting. You need to make a choice, you can turn around and walk out of here and not one of use are going to think differently of you. This is about you, not us, we are here to support you in this. But you need to decide, is this something you can live with, or is it something you can’t. I know you have asked yourself this, we all have, but when we are facing shit and it is about to get real, sometimes the cost is too high for us. So, I am asking you, is this woman right here, the woman you want to be, or is it too much. Like I said, we are going to support you either way, but it is your choice to make.”

Rebel looked into the tiny little pocket mirror, and she stared into her own eyes. She saw her mother’s looking back at her and she knew there was no question she was doing this. But before she did, she needed an answer from her men. Rebel looked at Shady and nodded and then she turned and made her way around the room, slowly, so she wasn’t drawing attention yet. Blade was closest to her. She walked until she was behind him, but didn’t face him, she only brushed up against him, and she felt him turn a little.

“Hey, sweetheart, you okay?” he asked, and Rebel nodded.

“Just needed to ask you a question.

  “What’s that?”

“You know that movie, Deadpool, where he makes the decision to leave his woman because he is sick?”

“Yeah,” he said slowly, and she turned so she could look into his eyes.

“Do you remember what you said?” she asked, and he thought for a second and nodded.

“I said, it was the only time in the whole movie you would say he was not a superhero, ‘cause that was pussy.”

“Do you really believe that?” she asked, and Blade nodded his head.

“Life is a gamble, but I swear to you, we will win every time we roll the dice as long as we are together.”

She nodded and then turned, raised herself on her tiptoes, and whispered into his ear quickly, “Tonight we are gonna get creative, so get your thinking cap on, men’s choice.”

Blade leaned back, and she smiled and walked away, leaving him dazed until Fork hit him on the shoulder. His head snapped as he watched her walk away and then he started to grin.

Rebel made her way to Shark and asked the same thing. He looked into her eyes and said, “I told you, he was an idiot for running when the best was yet to come.”

She smiled and told him the same thing, and then walked away and went and stood next to the wall, by Pete’s table. The man didn’t take long, he scrambled out of the booth and walked to her side and said, “Hey, baby, wanna dance?”

Rebel turned and stared at him for a second, and then shook her head. “No thanks,” she said and dismissed him. She moved when a tall, handsome biker walked by and grabbed his arm.

She didn’t say a word, just took the handsome biker on the dance floor and started to dance. She could feel the anger coming off Pete, she had passed him over, and for a man who liked to make women hurt, it would draw his attention. She knew what she was doing. Man after man she danced with until she finally smiled and walked off the floor and went to stand where she was before. Once again it didn’t take long and Pete was there, but this time he grabbed her arm painfully and jerked her onto the floor. The men all stood straighter as they watched Pete growl something into Rebel’s ear, she smiled and found Shark’s eye and winked, but that didn’t make him relax.

“Fucking dis me like that, you think you are so special,” Pete snarled into her ear, and she pulled back sharply and stared at him without speaking. He was a lowlife, and truthfully, she was doing the world a favor by killing the fucker.

“Yeah, I do,” she whispered, and she saw Pete’s eyes flare, and she felt on her back, the edge of a knife, and he grinned.

“Bet none of those men will look twice at you if I use my knife on that pretty face.”

Rebel stared at him coldly and said, “Bet they will kill you before you get the chance.”

Pete grinned and shook his head. “Don’t think so, baby, this whole bar, is owned by someone close to me. Everyone in here knows who the fuck I am, they will not touch me. I could kill you right now, and all they would do is move your body to make room for them to dance.”

Rebel’s looked around, and she saw the men she had danced with while staring at them, they were also looking like Pete was some sort of god. Well good, they could all learn what the fuck happened when you messed with the Lady Riders.

She moved her hand with the syringe in it and brought it up until it was behind his neck and she pulled him close and pushed the button and then released him and pulled back. Pete’s eyes widened, and she felt his grip loosen. Rebel leaned in and whispered into his ear, “I hope you rot in hell, from the Blood Eagles.”

She stepped back, walked to the table with the other Lady Riders, and sat down and raised her hand. “I need a shot of tequila!” she yelled, and Shady grinned. The bartender nodded and then the four women sat back and watched the show.

The men moved so they surrounded the Lady Riders and they glared at anyone who looked at them. It took only a few minutes, and then Pete was no more, which was good with the Ops and the Lady Riders, but the rest of the people in the bar? Well, they were a little upset by it. So when Pete fell to the floor, and Rebel stood up and walked to where he was laying with the rest of the people were standing.

“Oh my goodness,” Rebel said, she turned and yelled at someone to call an ambulance and then, she bent over and stared at Pete who was still alive. She could see it in his eyes, and she smiled and said, “I will see you later sweet thang!” Then she turned and yelled, “Ladies, WE ARE OUTTA HERE!”

Easy, Fork and Cajun looked at Shark and Blade and Fork shook his head. “I gotta know.”

Blade frowned and said. “Yeah, we are gonna sleep with one eye open.”

Fork shook his head and said, “Hell, we all do that. No, Maxi asked me to make sure I got the answer to the question he asked you before you left San Diego.”

Blade and Shark looked at each other and shrugged. “I don’t remember any questions.”

Fork grinned, “What is her real hair color, ‘cause sass like that, I am betting on a red head.”

  Easy said, “Me too.”

Cajun shook his head. “I am thinking black, like jet black.”

Shark shook his head. “Sorry, brothers, I prefer to have my nuts right where they are. You will need to keep wondering about that.”

Blade nodded and said, “Me too, although I would agree that blondes do have more fun!”

The men laughed and shook their heads and followed their women out of the bar. Everyone was too busy trying to help Pete who took his last breath after hearing Rebel’s voice.

  Chapter Thirteen

They made it down to San Diego in two hours, though they could have cut off thirty minutes if the girls hadn’t had to stop twice to pee. By the time they pulled into the compound, Shark and Blade were hard as fuck. Just thinking about Rebel, and her promises, made them impatient. Plus, her doctor’s appointment was in three days, then they would go from there, but Boo had already told them that the doctor wanted surgery done sooner rather than later.

When they pulled into the main clubhouse parking lot, Blade had gotten off his bike, grabbed Rebel, and put her on the back of Shark’s bike, and they had left. The others were laughing and whistling as they drove off. Blade flipped them off.

“Let me down,” Rebel laughed as Shark ran up the stairs with her cradled in his arms and not over his shoulder. She couldn’t decide which one was hotter, the fact he was impatient or the fact he was making sure she didn’t hurt her stomach. He didn’t stop until they were in her room. He tossed her on the bed and looked around desperately.

  “Where are they?” Shark growled.

Blade shut and locked the door and looked at her with a grin. “I think he’s talking about the scarves.”

“Uh, should we talk about this?” she laughed.

“Sweetheart, you said you were ready to take this to the next level,” Shark said in a frustrated tone.

“Of course I am. I was just talking about the whole relationship thing. I mean, we have spent a lot of time talking about the future,” Rebel said hesitantly. “But.”

“But what, honey?” Blade said gently and walked toward her.

“I have some questions,” she said.

“And we will answer them, tomorrow after we seal this shit. You know that we are going to be together, baby. You are ours,” Shark said, and she smiled.

  “What about…” she said.

“I love you, dammit. Blade loves you. Woman, we have shown you six ways from Sunday that we do. Now, do you love us?” Shark yelled, running a hand through his hair as he searched the drawers.

“Of course I do.” Rebel laughed as she watched Shark open and close drawers.

“No problem then and no discussion. WHERE ARE THE DAMN SCARVES?” Shark yelled.

“Right here, Shark,” Blade laughed and threw them through the air with a tube of lube.

“Thank you!” Shark said and pulled off his shirt.

  “Wait!” Rebel laughed.

“Now what?” Blade said, pulling off his shirt
as well.

“Go slow, this time I want to see everything,” she said seductively.

  “Seriously?” Shark snarled.

“Can’t we do the seductive thing the next time?” Blade said with what sounded like hope in his voice.

Rebel pouted her lips. “No, I want the whole thing, right now.”

Shark took a deep breath, looked at the ceiling, and counted to himself. “Fine,” he said whining. “But just so you know, I have a new case of blue balls, and it’s becoming severe, and it may need some special attention.”

  She grinned, “No problem there.”

Shark growled and then looked at Blade. “You heard her, let's give her a show.”

Blade winked as she settled back on the bed to watch them undress. Rebel wanted to savor this moment. With both men in front of me, she didn’t know where to look first. Shark unsnapped his pants and pushed them down. Her tongue slipped out of her mouth when she saw he went commando. When her gaze swung to Blade, she noticed he did as well. Hell, she wouldn’t be able to function during the day knowing this.

They walked toward her with a definite look of uncontrolled passion in their eyes. Rebel knew this time would be wild, they had crossed a bridge, so much for going slow, she didn’t want to either she realized as they closed in.

Blade stepped to her, lifted her arms up, and swept her shirt over her head while Shark pulled at her shorts. Rebel was naked except for the scraps of material she called a bra and underwear.

“Sexy,” Blade whispered and worked his hands under her to unhook her bra, freeing her breasts. Shark kissed his way down her stomach, using his teeth to pull her lacy panties down. Damn, these boys seriously liked to do that, not that she was complaining because it was hot as shit.

“I agree, fucking sexy,” Shark growled.

Blade stared at her dark red cherry nipples and licked his lips. She moaned at the sensation and arched her back a little. Shark growled again and put a hand on her hip.
