Mick Sinatra: Breaking My Heart Page 9

by Mallory Monroe

Mick glanced down at her shapely legs, and then up the length of her to her face. She was stunning to him. “I want you to come onboard for a few,” he said.

She continued with her Google search. “Okay,” she said.

He inwardly smiled. Roz was no needy woman. She never played games with him where he had to explain his meaning. She knew exactly what he meant. He looked at her cellphone. “What are you doing?” he asked her.

“I was wondering if what happened would be in any of the Paris newspapers.”

“It might,” Mick said. “It happened last night.”

Roz Googled Le Parisien, a French newspaper she was familiar with, and searched the local scene. Using the English converter, she found that there were three murders in Paris last night: two involving men, and one, in Saint Germain, involving a woman. A picture of a beautiful young woman was shown, with the heading: Mobster’s Wife Slashed to Death.

“Goodness,” Roz said when she read that heading. “They said the woman was slashed to death.”

“Damn.” Mick didn’t know the details of the killing. “They have her picture?”

Roz held her phone over to Mick. Mick, when he was able, removed his eyes from the road and took a look at her. His look lingered, probably, Roz figured, because she was a very beautiful girl, and then he returned his attention to the road ahead.

  “You know her?” Roz asked.

“No,” Mick responded. “Do they mention Teddy’s name?” he asked.

Roz looked at her phone again. “Only that an American is wanted for questioning. But that’s all they say.” She looked at him again.

Mick exhaled. “That murder was so vicious, this trip might be a little tougher than I thought. It might provoke outrage around Paris, and the cops will want an arrest. But I’ll bring him home.”

Roz grabbed his hand and squeezed it again. “I know you will, babe,” she said.

And when they arrived at the airstrip, and made their way onto Mick’s private jet, Carmine and a contingent of Mick’s men were already onboard. This was the crew that was going to Paris to help Mick bring Teddy safely in. But Mick had something to do before takeoff. “How long before liftoff?” he asked Carmine.

“About thirty minutes now,” Carmine said.

“Let me know when it’s time,” Mick said, and holding Roz’s hand, he and she made their way to the back of the plane, and into Mick’s private bedroom. He closed and locked the door.

Fob Hunter, one of Mick’s men, walked over to Carmine and smiled. “I wonder what they’re up to back there,” he said jokingly.

“Fuck that,” Carmine said. “Boss was holding her hand. Did you see that?”

Fob laughed. “Yeah, I saw it. So what?”

“What do you mean so what? He was holding her hand! Mick the Tick was being affectionate. That’s some scary shit right there.”

Fob laughed again. And then, realizing what Carmine was saying, his look turned serious too. “Now that you mention it, yeah.” He looked at the closed bedroom door. “That is some scary shit.”

  CHAPTER FOURTEEN

It was his hands that Roz felt the most. It was the way he moved his big hands all over her small body. His head was between her legs, licking her with those long, long licks that she adored, but his hands were rubbing her nipples, and her stomach, and reaching behind and cupping her ass. And she was overcome with the feelings as he rubbed and licked and sucked her.

And when he moved up, and placed his mouth on her breasts, and his hands around her body, lifting her into his arms, the feelings were so strong that she felt as if she was living a dream. She placed her hands in his hair and massaged his scalp as he sucked her. Not because she meant to, but because the feelings were so overwhelming that she had to do something!

Mick loved Roz in a way that made him desperate for her. He could never explain it, but every time she was in his presence he felt this overwhelming need to look out for her; to possess her; to show her how much he cared for her. And as he sucked her breasts, and as his fully aroused penis continued to press against her flesh, he had the urge, the heightened urge, to make his mark. He was going out of town, for what shouldn’t be more than a couple days’ tops, but he always felt this need to brand her. To remind her who she belonged to. He knew he had many good qualities. He was a great provider to her, and he considered himself a great protector. But he had many more faults. His way of life, and the risk she was constantly under, and his explosiveness, chief among them.

When his need to enter her became too great, he guided his dick into her pussy and pushed. He could see Roz sigh and lift her body closer against his when he pushed in. It was that initial feeling that got them both. That feeling that relaxed every muscle in their bodies while, at the same time, tensing every muscle in their bodies. It was push and pull. Ying and yang. And as he began to stroke her, and to feel even more bound to her, he closed his eyes and groaned himself.

They made love for every minute of those thirty they had left. He was sucking her breasts, and then kissing her lips as he shoved deeper and deeper into her. Their time together was limited by the takeoff manifest of his pilot, but they were in no rush at all. Because Mick knew, and Roz knew too, that that plane wasn’t going anywhere until Mick said it could leave. And he wasn’t saying it could leave until he had finished making long, passionate love to his wife.

He was grinding on her as they laid naked on that bed and he did her. He loved this woman with every ounce of his being. From the first time they met, when she was on that Broadway stage attempting to win a role in a play, he wanted her. She failed, miserably, to win that role, but she won his heart. She had fire in her bones. She was passionate about life and living. And that was the woman he wanted to hitch his wagon to. She was beautiful, but wasn’t trying to be a beauty queen. Gloria’s mother would win that prize any day of the week. Teddy’s too. But she was everything he wanted in a wife. And that was why, for the first time in his life, he asked a woman to marry him. He made her Mrs. Michello Sinatra. Everybody, especially all of the women he had before her, believed that she had won the prize when he made her his wife. But Mick knew better. He was the winner. Hands down.

And when they came, they came together. Mick’s grind became powerful gyrations for a restless cock that penetrated her and hit her every spot. And her every spot hit him. They were in unison when they came. Mick dropped down, and then arched his back as he poured into Roz. Roz lifted up, arching her back as her entire body contracted into a clench of emotions. She loved the feeling, and was happily overwhelmed by the feeling, as she came.

Mick was overwhelmed by the love he felt for her. He looked into her eyes as they came. This woman with the dimples and the big brown eyes, made him feel like the strongest man alive. He stroked her and stroked her. He stroked her with everything he had as he poured into her. She made him feel that there was nothing he couldn’t do. And because of his name, and his reputation, and his profession alone, he needed the feeling. He needed it every day of his life. Roz gave that to him.

He kept pouring into her. He sometimes wondered where it all came from. When he used to make love to other women, it was never this massive. But it was this and more whenever Roz was beneath him.

He stayed inside of her even after the last drop had poured, and held her in his arms until he knew their time was up.

They showered together. A quick shower. And then dressed in the same clothes they arrived in. Carmine and Fob and the rest of his crew took sly peeps at them as they exited the bedroom and made their way off the plane. Mick had his hand in the small of Roz’s back, holding onto her as if she was some precious commodity, and his crew still couldn’t get over it. Especially his new chief, Carmine. He’d heard about Mick the Tick most of his adult life. And he saw that sonafabitch in action himself. But this other side, this caring side, was new to Carmine. And for her? He didn’t see it. He declares he just didn’t see it.

But Mick didn’t care what he saw
. He opened the door of the brand-new Bentley he had purchased for Roz, and she sat behind the wheel. He would not normally be this affectionate in public, not even toward Roz, but for some reason he was affectionate. He even knelt down inside her open car door, and looked his big, green eyes into her eyes. She always had what Mick viewed as a combination look. A combination of soft and hard. Cheerful and sad. Beautiful and too serious to be thought beautiful. He kissed her on her lips. “I want you to take care of yourself while I’m gone,” he said. “Don’t work too hard. Don’t stay at that studio too late.”

“How long do you think you’ll be away?” she asked him. It was a painful departure for her too.

Mick looked away from her, thinking about it. “A couple days probably. If all goes well.”

“You can’t just show up, put him on your plane, and take off?”

“I could,” Mick responded, “if I wanted the authorities to meet us at that airport and take him in. No. The first alert they put out if they’re looking for an American is an airport. They will be looking for his ass all over that place. And unfortunately, because I do a lot of business in Paris, they know my plane. If they know Teddy is my son, and I’m sure they do, then there’s no way it’ll be that easy. We’ll have to land in Belgium. I’ll have to get him there by automobile if I can. Bringing somebody in is never as simple as bringing them in. Especially if Ang’s men are looking for him, on top of the cops. It’s tricky.”

Roz placed her hand on the side of Mick’s strong face. She knew what pressures he was under, and how Teddy’s actions weren’t making it any easier for him. But she also knew he could handle it. “You’re going to be busy on the ride over,” Roz said.

Mick nodded. “I’ve got to put all the plans in place, that’s right.”

“Don’t kick his ass, Mick,” Roz said. “You might have to hospitalize him. Wait until you have him back on our soil.”

Mick smiled. She knew how close Roz was to Teddy. She was joking, but only just. “I don’t plan to touch him,” he said. “It’s his nature. It’s what he does. I just need to get him to understand the wisdom of what he’s doing. Smart mobsters can survive a lot. A dumbass can’t survive shit. I’ve got to get that through his thick skull.”

“Joey knows what’s going on?” Roz asked.

“No,” Mick responded. “And I don’t want him to. I’ve got him on assignment already, making sure my shipments come in without problems. He has his hands full.”

“I still think about his mother,” she said, “and how she died. I sometimes wonder if he still holds it against me.”

“Fuck him if he does,” Mick said harshly. “That shit wasn’t your fault. His mother came there to poison you. You did what you had to do. Fuck that.”

Roz understood the truth of the matter. She was just thinking about Joey’s truth of the matter. It could be different than reality.

But Mick understood her concern. “That’s why I don’t want him alone with you or the twins. At least not yet. We’ve got to give it more time.”

“I agree,” Roz said, and then she rubbed his face again, and smiled. But then their look turned serious, as both of them knew he was about to embark on a dangerous mission, no matter how much he planned.

But he knew he had to get on with it. He kissed her on the lips. Hard. And then opened his eyes. He wanted to say he loved her. It was on the tip of his tongue. But it would have taken all he had.

He kissed her again, stood up and closed her car door, and she drove away.

He also watched as his men, in an unmarked vehicle, drive behind her. She was under heavy security, whether she liked it or not.

When he got back onto the plane, Carmine and Fob and the rest of his crew were staring at him. But as he began barking out orders like the Mick they all knew and respected, they settled back down. All was right with the world once again.

  CHAPTER FIFTEEN

As soon as the door to Gloria’s apartment closed, Will Flannigan slammed her body against that same door and flung off her panties. She wrapped her legs around his body and began kissing him impatiently. His dick was already erect, and her vagina was already wet from their fondling each other in the car, and he didn’t hesitate. He unzipped, pulled it out, and thrust it into her with a hard shove. And began fucking her even harder.

Gloria wrapped her arms around him as he kept slamming her body against the door with every shove in. She was enjoying this ride. Anybody walking along the corridors of her condominium building could hear the banging, and nearly a dozen different tenants did. Some of the older women shook their heads. Young people, they thought, although Will Flannigan was Mick’s age. One of the men stopped and listened as long as he could without looking too much like a pervert. But the rest, mostly millenniums, just smiled and kept going.

And Will kept going too. He was fucking Gloria so hard that she thought she was on fire. And she knew he was the man for her. She was falling hard for this virile man. She ran her hands through his silky hair. And revisited what he had said to her. “How?” she asked.

Will’s big, blue eyes looked at her. He knew exactly what she was talking about. “That’s not the question,” he said as he continued to fuck her.

“What’s the question?” she asked, as she continued to beat the door with her body.

“Do you want to take over? Do you want to one day run SI all by your beautiful self? Answer that.”

He stared into her gorgeous eyes as she felt the power of his dick and the power of what it would mean to no longer have to answer to her father’s legions of VPs. To be her own boss. “Yes,” she said. “Yes.”

And Will smiled. “Right answer,” he replied, and then, with an even harder thrust, took her on over.

The fog cast a hard shadow over the docks, as the final ship came in. But when Eddie Lewinsky looked at the log book and saw the final tally, he couldn’t believe it. “Joey!” he yelled. “Joey!”

Joey Sinatra hurried out of the shed where the trucks were loading up the cargo. Along with his second-in-command Frankie Carpa, and his man Chase, they ran onto the dock to see what the commotion was about.

“What’s your problem, Eddie?” Joey asked as they walked toward Lewinsky. His young, narrow face was frowned with concern. “What is it?”

  “It’s short,” Eddie said.

  “What’s short?”

“Our cargo. It’s short again, Joey.”

Joey went over to Eddie as if he knew that had to be a lie. He grabbed the log book out of Eddie’s hands and looked at the tally. Frankie, surprised too, looked over his shoulder. “What the fuck? It’s short again?”

“Those motherfuckers toying with us,” Joey said.

“After what Boss did to their asses, they can’t be serious,” Frankie said. “Are they out of their fucking minds?”

“So what happened, Joey?” Eddie asked. “I thought your old man was supposed to take care of this. This don’t look like no taking care of to me.”

Frankie couldn’t believe the guy. Joey either. He looked at Eddie. “What did you say?” he asked him.

Eddie, who was much older than Joey and was always bumping heads with him, wasn’t backing down. “I said your old man should have taken care of this. He’s losing a step, or what?”

Frankie and the other men were stunned Eddie would go there. Joey was stunned too. And angry. And, like always when it came to Joey, his anger caused him to lose it.

He grabbed Eddie by the catch of his collar, leaned back and decked him with a roundhouse right, and then lifted him off of the platform with a violent lift, and tossed him into the dark, cold waters.

“Joey, no!” Frankie yelled, his feet running forward to the edge of the platform. “He can’t swim, Joey. Eddie can’t swim!”

“I know that motherfucker can’t swim,” Joey said. “So what?”

But it was a big deal to one of the men: to Chase. He and Eddie were tight. But he knew how ruthless Joey could be. “Can I jump in and get him?
” he decided to ask.

Joey looked at Chase. “Jump in,” he said. Then he looked Chase squarely in the eye. “I’ll slit your throat before you jump in, but go ahead. Knock yourself out.”

Chase literally, as Joey inwardly thought, backed the fuck up. Then Joey looked angrily at Frankie. “Finish loading up the trucks and get this shit on the road. Any boss that complains about a shortfall, you make it clear it ain’t on our end. If they keep complaining, you tell them to contact my father.”

“Will do, Joey,” Frankie said, eager to avoid Joey’s wrath. And Joey left, totally oblivious to Eddie. His father, and what he was going to do when he heard the news, was on his mind.

But Frankie and the other men were left to stand there and watch their colleague continue to go under and back up, under and back up, flailing his arms and crying for help. But it was either save him, or get on Joey Sinatra’s bad side.

  It was no contest.

They went back into the shed, to continue to get the trucks ready for transport. But it couldn’t be helped. They still heard Eddie’s cries. They still heard his wails and screams of horror, until silence came.

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Mick’s plane arrived in Brussels, Belgium, a three-hour drive from Paris, around ten that night. With his Philly crew remaining at the Brussels airport to prepare for Mick’s return with Teddy, Mick took the car they had waiting for him, and left alone. He could not be anywhere near front street when he arrived in Paris. He could not go in with an entourage.

But it would still take over five solid hours after Mick got off of his plane, before he arrived at the safe house. He changed cars three times on his journey; cars that were prepositioned there for his use, to ensure he was not being followed by cops nor mobsters. It was after three a.m. when he finally drove up to the safe house.
