4th Epoch
Few historical moments happen in the early part of the fourth epoch, except to mention that the lengthy reigns of Hagan I, Valient II and Valient III are three of the longest in Rogun history spanning well into the second millennia.
I have highlighted some dates of interest in this early part of this epoch.
1717 YOA: The Cloud Orrinn is discovered in a disused well in Triel, the Eternal Forest. It is eventually handed to the Havant Order for safekeeping, date unknown.
1973 YOA: King Criab III if the Vallkytes creates the Rite of Ancarryn, and builds the Criab Arena.
The 5th Epoch
2215 YOA: The Keveni-Marinet Debacle.
2228 YOA: Baron Kellerane of Tressel secures his lands under the Guarding Law and moves his family to Tuen House in Dorit Lorne.
2363 YOA: Valient De Proteous Cromme courts the Rawn Mistress Eutriss, but the king, due to her tribal background, frowns upon his sons and heir’s relationship with her. The De Proteous begins the construction of the Secret Passage in secret so he can sneak out of the city to meet Eutriss.
2386 YOA: King Valient discovers the tunnel and destroys it. Valient De Proteous Cromme is sent to command the garrison at the Pass as punishment.
2470 YOA: Efron of Tressel is born.
2489 YOA: King Valient II dies mysteriously. It is thought that he is poisoned from the roots of the rare Larack Orchid, the only known substance that, in high concentrations, brings on early onset Phage in Rawns.
2490 YOA: Valient III ascends to the Rogun Throne. He and Lady Eutriss are married the same year.
The 6th Epoch
The First Civil War
(War of the Pyromancer)
2944 YOA: Telmar, Baron of Tressel and Lord of Dorit Lorne is born.
2957 YOA: Telmar discovers the Mastirton Maelstrom.
2958 YOA: Telmar and Vanduke De Proteous Cromme meet in the Academy of Rawn Arts. They both become close friends.
2961 YOA: Telmar has his first Pyromantic attack.
2962 YOA: Joaquin Ri asks Telmar to join the Brethac Ziggurat.
2967 YOA: Prince Vanduke the younger is born.
2968 YOA: Prince Kasan is born.
2969 YOA: Prince Hagan is born
2972 YOA: Both Telmar and Vanduke join the Insular Tabernacle in Sonora, a front for the secretive Brethac Order. Telmar remains in Sonora for the next ten years.
2981 YOA: The Merchant War begins. Telmar Meets Aelfric Cokato of the Hinterland Berserkers.
2983 YOA: Telmar leaves Sonora and returns home, only to discover a conspiracy against him by the Duke of Keveni.
10th FERAN: Telmar, Namwi, Vanduke and Vanduke
the younger travel to Dulan-Tiss to help him unravel the conspiracy.
24th FERAN: Namwi is kidnapped by Cormack, the Master of Keveni.
29th FERAN: Telmar is implicated in the murder of Cormack. He is imprisoned inside a Glammarstone Cell. The Long Month begins.
30th FERAN: Joaquin Ri steps down as the Vallkyte kings Consul and throws in his lot with Telmar.
07th MARACH: The Ri Order forbids Ness Ri’s offer to help Telmar control his Pyromantic Surges. He leaves the continent in disgust. It is thought he goes to Nidral.
12th MARACH: Joaquin Ri escapes from Dulan-Tiss. Count Talien of the Withers raises a host in support of Baron Telmar. The Vallkyte Klingspur raises his host in retaliation.
29th MARACH: The Rite of Ancarryn begins. Telmar escapes, unveils to the world the true potency of his Pyromantic powers by killing the entire Vallkyte royal family and destroying half of the Criab Arena in the process.
13th APRAILA: Telmar executes the Vallkyte parliamentary members associated with the Brethac Ziggurat.
23rd APRAILA: Coronation of Telmar as King of the Vallkyte Throne.
12th MALYA: Lord Mauldorne addresses the populous of Keveni with the “Arcun and No Quarter” oath
22nd JITHI: Battle of Kerness.
29th AUGRANIER: King Telmar outflanks Klingspur by marching his host over the Tarridun Ridge.
24th SIN: The Battle of Glyn Brae. Klingspur is slain in the battle.
25th OPLACUS: Jarl Olav, the father of Cokato, lands in Keveni Bay with over three thousand Berserkers, and burns the town.
03rd NECTAN: First defeat of Lord Mouldorne’s host, at the battle of Temple Wood.
09th NECTAN: Second defeat of Lord Mouldorne’s Host, at No Quarter Gully. Telmar and Count Talien take Duncattrine Fort
WINTER of 2983 to 2984: Sonora is besieged from the sea by Admiral Gulius of the Vallkyte navy and an uprising is orchestrated by Sir Mytan inside the citadel in support of King Telmar. Telmar moves his host in late winter and takes Aquen. King Valient III of the Roguns sends more soldiers to strengthen his borders. Prince Vanduke and Vanduke the younger winter inside the Eternal Forest.
17th FERAN: The battle of the River Platte (Battle of the Single Survivor) Vanduke De Proteous Cromme is slain in battle. Telmar transfers the “Dark Seed” to Vanduke the Younger. Upon the death of the Rogun heir, the Roguns are pulled into the war.
20th MARACH: Telmar, at the Vale of Troche, destroys The Rogun host under Marshal Praxis. Cinnibar defeats Sir Mytan’s Uprising.
16th JITHI: Telmar moves his host into the safety of the Wyani foothills. Captain Elkin takes back Duncattrine Fort.
27th JITHI: Elkin wins the Battle of Little Dorit.
23rd OPLACUS: The Battle of the Firelands. Telmar is defeated and is found by Cinnibar and Kasan who fake his death.
2985 YOA: King Valient III gives Kasan and Hagan the responsibility of looking after Dulan-Tiss and Sonora respectively as principalities.
2986 YOA: Death of King Valient III. Vanduke I ascends to the Rogun Throne. Both Kasan and Hagan proclaim themselves kings of their principalities. Cinnibar and Lord Ness oversee the creation of the Royal Tables. Cromme Secondur and Trecondur are created to establish royal authority in those areas.
3011 YOA: Birth of Havoc De Proteous Cromme. It is to be noted that Assassi-al scholars’ mark the day of Havoc’s birth as the end of the Rawn Sagas age and the beginning of the Rawn Chronicles.

Part One: The War of the Exiles

The War of the Wildlands begins in late summer.

07th NECTAN: The Battle of Dragorsloth.
10th NECTAN: Aln-Tiss falls to General Plysov. The citadel’s refugees, commanded by the fifteen-year-old Havoc De Proteous Cromme, flee to the Sky Mountains. Around this time, Lord Soneros flees the Tower of Sooth and exiles himself inside the Eternal Forest; he takes the Royal tables with him.

24th MARACH: Queen Molna is taken from Aln-Tiss and transported to Dulan-Tiss by sea.
30th APRILA: King Kasan and Countess Cinnibar sign the Treaty of Sonora.
01st MALYA: King Vanduke’s host finds Havoc’s camp.
03rd MALYA: Havoc discovers he is a Pyromancer.

22th JENLYN: Lord Ness arrives in the Exiles camp with General Balaan and Vara, the former Queen of Sonora.
02nd JITHI: Havoc begins his training with Lord Ness.
17th DEX: Havoc discovers that Eleana is carrying his child as they prepare to march to the Rouge.
30th DEX: The Red Roasting.

14st JARROD: Havoc discovers his sisters and cousins bodies on the Rattan Plateau. He assembles his people to witness the mutilated bodies and vows to revenge his family. Prince Creed of the Vallkytes is born.
09th FERAN: Havoc falls out with his father and dreams of his sister Verna who instructs him to seek out his destiny. That night, he leaves the camp and travels east towards the Tattoium Ridge. The Year of Solitude begins.
04th AUGRANIER: Havoc Valient is born.
19th AUGRANIER: Havoc finds Mirryn through Tragenn’s Muse Orrinn and heals her broken wing.
21st AUGRANIER: Havoc rescues Mulvend from bandits.

03rd SIN: The Head Harvest. Garth, the Governor of Sloe, along with his guard, are executed by Prince Havoc. Havoc heads to the refuge of Old Woods.
14th SIN: Cinnibar sends Jinn Ri to apprehend the “Ghost of the Mountains” secretly convinced that his identity is that of Havoc De Proteous Cromme, and that the Blacksword Prophecy is unfolding.
16th SIN: Havoc meets Powyss of the Hoath in the old woods. Tragenn shatters.
23rd SIN: Havoc and Powyss reach Little Dorit and manage to avoid Jynn Ri.
01 NECTAN: Havoc and Powyss reach the Vale and meet the Master Smith, Gunach.
Winter of 3029 to 3030.
The Blacksword of Prophecy is jointly forged by Gunach and Prince Havoc’s Pyromantic powers. It is thought at this time that the separate persona of the Blacksword is born, although the rules of the Twin Aspect states that he already existed in a dormant sleep when Havoc was born.
3030 YOA:
16th MARACH: Havoc/Blacksword and Powyss rescue the old Sonoran Guard and the remnants of Captain Jericho’s Tattoium Militia form the mines of Haplann. They escape through underground tunnels to Lake Falryhana.
17th MARACH: The Battle of Othell’s Cairn. Havoc/Blacksword defeats Jynn Ri. The refugees flee to the Old Woods in order to escape the Vallkyte patrols.
30th MARACH: Cinnibar officially becomes Queen of Sonora. Queen Molna befriends the prisoner known as Shanks only to later discover that he is in fact Baron Telmar.
02nd APRAILA: Havoc heals Verkin’s would, but unknowingly passes Pyromantic Energy into his friend’s body. The Atyd Morden of Triel saves the Refugees from capture by the Vallkytes. The Eastern Tribe Pact is ratified.
09th MALYA: Prince Havoc meets Queen Nieve of Ten Mountain and Lord Soneros confirms his identity.
29th MALYA: The wedding of Barnum and Princess Bronwyn. Battle of Ten Mountain
01st JITHI: Capture of Fort Chunla and the Pander Pass. Mad-gellan of the Multan Nithi joins Havoc.
14th JITHI: Havoc’s host defeats the Vallkyte army at the Battle of the Pass.
Part Two: The Raider Campaign.
16th JITHI: King Vanduke receives word of his son’s victory at the Pass and he is inspired to march against the Vallkytes holding Banferry in the east. Havoc marches to Caphun.
23rd JITHI: The fall of Caphun. Prince Magnus and Lord Rett take Banferry.
27th JITHI: The Atyd Morden is made the Regent of Caphun.
17th AUGRANAIR: Queen Bronwyn informs Prince Havoc that she is pregnant with his child.
07th SIN: March to the Vale. Captain Jericho and his Tattoium Militia meet Havoc on the way and joins his host.
Winter of 3030 to 3031.
Havoc trains his army in the Vale. They are nicknamed the Raiders by the Eastern Tribes. Marshal Zolar marches his Vallkyte host towards the Pass in early winter.
10th FERAN: Lord Ness travels to Ten Mountain via the Drift.
29th FERAN: Havoc ambushes Marshal Zolar’s Host in the Long Valley.
06th APRAILA: The Battle of Stenford.
15th APRAILA: Havoc is reunited with Bronwyn, Magnus, Sir Colby and Lord Ness as the Raiders hide inside the Great Marsh.
19th APRAILA: Havoc defeats Marshal Zolar at the Battle of the Fess.
27th APRAILA: The Raiders take the Hamlet of Ifor.
06th MALYA: Havoc defeats General Elkin at the Battle of Cosshead. Dolment, the Master of Ifor joins Havoc’s cause.

01st JENLYN: The Raiders march to the Sky Mountains. The Drakken is created inside the Rings of Dulan.

16th MALYA: Prince Havoc travels to the Eternal Forest and Queen Bronwyn shows him the Quest Ship, Cybeleion.
21st MALYA: Havoc enters Dulan-Tiss. The Rite of Ancarryn begins.
22rd MALYA:The Blacksword slays Mad-daimen and his kin. Havoc discovers that Telmar is alive, incarcerated inside a Dulan-Tiss prison. Lord Ness and Telmar escape the citadel.
24th MALYA: The Blacksword defeats Lord Udren to win the Ancarryn, Havoc escapes the capital along with his mother on Ciriana’s back.
16th JENLYN: King Vanduke of the Roguns meats his godfather, Telmar, for the first time in over forty years. He gives him asylum within the walls of the citadel.
18th AUGRANAIR: The launch of the Cybeleion. Death of Lord Ketrigan.
22nd AUGRANAIR: The Brethac Ziggurat gathers at the Rings of Dulan to send the Storm. Lord Sernac Driftwalks to the Unmounted to summon the Earth Daemon. The Cybeleion reaches Tenk of Mubea.
24th AUGRANAIR: After crashing to survive the Storm, Havoc, Tia and several of the Wyvern are kidnapped by the Kaleeth Eba and taken to the ruins of the Assassi citadel.
26th AUGRANAIR: The Blacksword, Ness Ri, Powyss and Tia mount a daring rescue of the missing Wyvern and discover that the Vol’you and Korzac are twin aspects of the Firstborn.
16th SIN: The Cybeleion reaches Oasis Virach.
02nd NECTAN: The Cybeleion reaches Wadi Jazsh. Havoc and Lord Ness discover the Brethac Borehole and close it.
3035 YOA
04th APRAILA: Mad-borath strengthens the walls of Tyrandur. Starwyn of the Falesti is born.
Autumn of 3035 to spring 3036 YOA. Marshal Magnus and the Raiders march to the Wildlands. At around this time, Mad-gellen’s host of Multan Warbands occupy the Duluth Row. Dispute over the Vallkyte Landowners Bill; disillusioned Barons under, Langstroum De Barrette, Baron of Mutresi, split from the Brethac and form a pact.
21st NECTAN: The Raiders take the first Wildlands border towers or Mastiffs. The Dark Company infiltrate the woodlands of the West Mountains. Baron Jericho and his Tattoium Militia base themselves in the North Mountains to see out the winter.

09st JARROD: The Raiders carry out continual raids deep into Mad-borath’s territory. Jericho’s Ubhdomnall Hillmen infiltrates the Kelang occupied lands and sends back intelligence reports from the enemy held Storing Gully Fort.
08th FERRAN: Mad-borath, at the urging of his advisors, leaves Tyrandur to face the Raider threat. He strips soldiers from Storing Gully Fort to swell his numbers. Prince Creed crushes the rebellion of Landowner Barons.
18th FERRAN: Mad-gellen hears of Mad-borath’s move to engage the Raiders, he finally marches his Warbands out of the Duluth Row. Jericho sieges Storing Gully Fort
13th MARACH: The Battle of the Ash Fields. The Paladin-knights Mactan and Felcon capture Mad-borath.
23rd MARACH: Baron Jericho accepts the surrender of Storing Gully Fort. Mad-gellen and Prince Magnus take Tyrandur. Mad-gellen is honoured as the new Overlord of the Wildlands.
14th JITHI: A Storm-vortex created by
an active Phemoral kidnaps Prince Havoc and Tia from the deck of the Cybeleion.
15th JITHI: With the help of the Paladins, Havoc/Blacksword save Tia, destroy the Phemoral and the Oculus Tower.
Winter of 3036 to 3037 YOA.
Alarmed at the loss of his ally, Mad-borath, and the growing strength of his brothers Temperance League Army, King Kasan focuses of enhancing the Brethac Army.

26th SIN: Prince Havoc meets the famous Marauder Doom, Elric Stormstrider. Stormstrider takes Havoc, Gunach and Sir Furran to Sjardhiem via Cürious to find the second marker that points the way to Mortkraxnoss. Together they confront the Necromancer and Felwraith, Cornelius Pagan.
23rd OPLACUS: Havoc and his friends visit the Tomb of the Blacksword in the Field of Marrows.
PART FOUR: THE DRAGON WARS
3038 YOA
29th MALYA: After receiving advice from Shanks, King Vanduke decides to write down the dreams he has in his head, dreams that are actually Baron Telmar’s memories. The Life of Baron Telmar is written in a leather bound library ledger, and will forever become known as the Black Ledger.
07th JITHI: The crew of the Cybeleion spends several months in the company of the peaceful Jehu Chi Monks where they learn of the whereabouts of the Ternquin of Assassi.
03rd DEX: Lord Elkin rescues Baron Langstroum from Princes Creeds forces.
3039 YOA
25th JARROD: The Cybeleion enters the Epicentre and rescues Captain Carbaum’s crew from the Sylphgiest. The Captain guides them to Ternquin.
27th JARROD: The Cybeleion reaches Ternquin of Assassi. Fowyn Ri’s fleet of Vallkyte Sky Ships finds the Jehu Chi Monks.
01st FERRAN: Captain Carbaum shows Havoc the Gateway of Life. The Ice Drake, Glajziur, attacks Ternquin. Havoc defeats Glajziur and mounts a quest to take the Ice Path to the Ice Palace of the Nicbetha to retrieve the Talisman of Mortkraxnoss.
06th FERRAN: Havoc and his followers find the Ice Palace of the Nicbetha. Ness Ri confronts Gonliss Ri, but is unable to discover the identity of Lord Sernac. The Blacksword confronts the Nicbetha and comes into the possession of the Talisman of Mortkraxnoss. Fowyn Ri’s soldiers attack the town of Ternquin.
