“Sally, I told you to take as much time as you needed. Did you talk things over with your mother?”
“Yes we talk for hours today.
“Last night after I went to bed, I realized that you might want to go with me to Coco Beach Sally. I was going to ask you if you wanted to go with me this morning but when I woke up this morning you were gone.”
“Were you really going to ask me to go with you Chris? I wish I would have known that before I ran off without saying goodbye.”
“Yea about that, at least you could have turned on the coffee pot before you left.”
“Ha, Ha, Ha, that is very funny Chris. Do you want to hear something even funnier?”
“What is that pretty lady?”
“My mother wants to know when you are leaving town.”
“I don’t understand Sally, why would she want to know when I am leaving.”
“Because she thinks that you are a nice young man and I should consider going with you to Coco Beach.”
“How could she possible conclude that I am a nice young man? She has never met me.”
“We talk about you all day Chris, and besides, she remembered meeting you at church. I don’t know if you remember, but she met you and your parents at a pick-nick and thought you were quite handsome. So she wants to know when you are leaving.”
“Tomorrow morning around six o’clock. I have the car already packed and ready to go. Sally has your mom been sitting there listening to our whole conversation?”
“Well, yes Chris, she has been listening to most of our conversation. I told you I respected my mom’s opinion of you. Are you upset with me for not telling you?” Sounds a little freaky I thought to myself.
“No Sally, But if you wanted me to meet your parents it would of save us both a lot of confusion by just asking me to meet them.” Is this girl serous or just plum crazy?
“Chris, I don’t want you to meet both of my parents, no that would cause more trouble than it was worth. But I did want my mother’s opinion of you, so I let her listen in on our phone call.”
“Since she is listening then I think that she should hear it from me.”
“What should she hear from you Chris?”
“What my reasons were for asking you to be my roommate Sally.” Damn, what does she think I am talking about?
“I really do not think that it is necessary Chris; I have told her almost every detail of our conversation.” That is what worries me, no telling what you told your mother I thought to myself.
“Well Sally she might not know that I value our friendship too much to ruin it by asking you to make a decision that you do not feel comfortable making yet.” This girl is making me look real bad, what kind of girl lets her mother listen to her phone conversations.
“And for that reason I believe that you should take some time to think about what you want to do.” What the hell is wrong with this girl After all I didn’t ask her to marry me.
“If you decide that you want to share my apartment with me as roommates the offer stills stands. I will leave you a key under the flower pot on my front door step in case you want to show your mom the apartment.” I hope her mom hasn’t got it in her head to move in with her daughter.
“Does that mean you don’t want me to go with you to Coco Beach this weekend?” I didn’t want to hurt her feelings but I think I’m better off with Megan and her sister.
“Sally, I have a lot of things that I need to do concerning school and it may have been premature asking you to come with me. Besides if everything works out well, we will have plenty of time to spend the weekend in Coco Beach after I register for school.” The phone went quite for a moment as if she was thinking about everything I had said to her. Then she broke the silence and said with a slight quiver in her voice.
“I guess what you are saying makes sense, and my mother agrees with you. But are you sure you don’t mind me showing her the apartment while you are gone?”
“No, Sally I don’t mind you showing your mom the apartment. To be honest with you, I expected her to want to see where I lived, that is why I said I would leave a key for you. Besides I wanted your mom to feel comfortable about coming over to the apartment to visit you after you move in.” Hopefully I won’t regret it.
“Chris, what if I decide that I want to accept your offer and I want to move in this weekend.”
“Like I said Sally, It is your decision and whatever you decide to do is fine with me. If I am not able to return by Monday I will call you.”
“Chris may I spend the weekend at the apartment? It might help me make up my mind.”
“Sally, I do not know how to make it any clearer to you. I am looking forward to you being my roommate, which is why I am encouraging you to spend as much time in the apartment as you wanted to. But I want you to know that I would like you to keep your guest list to members of your family, while you’re there this weekend.”
“Don’t worry Chris, the only one I plan on taking to your apartment is my mother.” Oh my god, I hope mama doesn’t become a permanent fixture.
“Sally it is getting late and I still have a few things to wrap up before I leave, so if you don’t mind I am going to say goodbye for now and I will see you when I get back.”
“Chris can I come over this evening?”
“Sally, I don’t think that would be a good idea however if you want to call me later, and if I am finished with everything we can decide then.”
“Ok Chris I will call you later, Goodbye Chris!” I did not intend to invite Sally over tonight, but I didn’t know how to let her down easy. I almost wanted to call Amber and see if she could sneak out of the house. After all I knew Amber would be a sure bet if I wanted to get laid. I thought about it for a moment and convinced myself that it would be a good idea. Before I knew what was happening I was calling dialing her number.
“Hello, who is this?”
“Hi Amber this is Chris; I was wondering if you could sneak out for a few hours tonight?”
“Hell yeah I can sneak out, but you would have to pick me up.”
“Ok Amber; where do you want me to pick you up?”
“Do you remember Jimmy’s Hot Dog Stand right there by the High School?”
“Of course I do it is still my favorite place to grab a chili dog.”
“Well meet me there at eight o’clock and order me a foot-long with chili and cheese.”
“Boy a girl after my own heart“. She hung up before I could say anything else and I hadn’t even put the phone down and it rang again, it was Louie.
“Hi Chris, remember what you asked me about at lunch the other day.”
“Yeah what about it?”
“Well I think I found someone that can help you out if you willing to front him.”
“Are you home? I can pick him up and come by.”
“Yes I am home but I would prefer to let you deal with him and we can split whatever you make between us.”
“Chris are you saying that as long as I leave you out of it, that I get half of whatever we make?”
“Yes that is exactly what I am saying now, if you want to do this, why don’t you come over and pick it up?”
“I’ll be there in fifteen minutes Chris.”
“That is perfect Louie, because I have a date in a few minutes”
Louie pulled up next to my car behind my apartment and opened his trunk. As he loaded the bale into his car, he asked me how much I wanted per pound.
“Louie I have no idea what kind of deal you have worked out with your friend, therefore I can only trust that you will be fair with me. Now if you don’t mind I need to go pick up my date.”
“Chris should I call you and tell you how we are doing?”
“No Louie when you have gotten rid of everything, wait at least a month an invite me out for a beer and we will settle our affairs at that time. Until then I don’t want to hear nothing about our business arrangement. Ok Louie I’ve got to go now. I will see you later and be safe.
”
“I will Chris you can count on me.”
I got in my car and drove to pick up Amber and as I was pulling up to Jimmy’s Hot Dog Stand, I could see that she was walking up to where I parked the car.
“Hi Chris; did you order yet?”
“No I just got here, get in and I will go to the window and order some food.”
“May I take you order sir,” she spoke with a sexy voice.
“Would you like coffee, tea or me?”
“Why you of course young lady.”
“But if you don’t mind, I am a little hungry so could I have two chili dogs with cheese. And for desert I guess I will take two large serving of whatever you’re offering.”
She smiled, “Yes sir I will be right back with you order.”
I couldn’t help watching her as she walked away from the order window. Damn she has a nice ass. It wasn’t long before she was back at the car with our food.
“Thanks Chris; I was going crazy sitting in that house listening to Megan whine about not being able to go with to Coco Beach.’
“Yea, I feel really bad about her getting in trouble.”
“What about me Chris, I don’t have a car for the next two weeks.”
I didn’t make a comment about her whining over being grounded. But as we sat there enjoying the last few bites of our hot dogs I thought of Amber being with me for the weekend. So I finely decided to find out how strict her grandfather was with his little girls.
“Amber; Are you only grounded from driving your car? Or, has your grandfather grounded you from leaving the house?”
“I am not allowed to use my car to go anywhere. Why are you asking me if I am allowed to leave the house?”
“I was just wondering to what extent you were grounded. Amber, have you ever left home for the weekend with friends?”
“Yes, I went to Orlando last month with Shelly for the weekend.”
“Do you have to get permission from your grandfather to go away for the weekend?”
“No Chris, but I usually let him know where I am going and who I am going to be traveling with.” Well that is not so bad as long as she doesn’t mention my name.
“Are you asking me to go with you to Coco Beach?” I thought you were afraid of getting in trouble with my grandfather.”
“Amber; there would be nothing to be afraid of if you had permission from your grandfather.”
“Chris how about if I call Shelly and see if she can cover for me this weekend and then I will call my grandfather.” She left the car to make her phone calls and came back smiling as if she had won the lotto.
“Well you look happy, what did you grandfather say about you going to Coco Beach.”
“Chris I have some good news and some bad news depending how you look at it.”
“What are you talking about Amber? Did your grandfather give you permission to go?”
“Yes he said I could go with Shelly to Coco Beach for the weekend.”
“So what is the problem? Will Shelly cover for you?”
“Yes Shelly is willing to say that we are going to away for the weekend.”
“I still don’t see the problem Amber. What are you not telling me?”
“Well, Shelly is only willing to say that she is going out of town with me if she is allowed to go with us.”
“Amber I barely know Shelly, didn’t you tell her that you were trying to have a weekend alone with me.”
“Yes Chris and she agreed to go along with the plan until my grandfather called her and told her the conditions of me being allowed to go away for the weekend.”
“Wait a moment Amber, you mean there is more to this nightmare that you have not told me.”
“Yes, Chris; my grandfather will not let us go, unless all three of us are traveling together.”
‘You do mean Shelly, you and me, right Amber?”
“No Chris; he said that we had to take Megan with us if we wanted to go on a road trip.”
“Damn Amber I don’t know if I can bring all three of you even if I wanted too. I better call my friend and ask him if it will be alright.” After a short phone call. I looked at Amber and gave her the good news.
“Call Megan and Shelly and tell them to pack their bags and I will pick up you guys at six o’clock in the morning.”
“Chris, you do mean you will pick them up in the morning.”
“Amber don’t you need to pack for the trip, after all we are going to be there for at least four days.”
“Well I just thought I could spend the night at your apartment.”
“Amber I don’t care where you spend the night. But I don’t want to be at your house waiting for hours while you girls pack for the trip. When I could be catching up on some much needed sleep, so I will not have to pull over at a rest stop for a catnap when I should be driving. Do I make myself clear?”
“Well would you mind if we come over when we are finished packing? That way we can sleep at your house and save you the trouble of picking us up in the morning.” I knew that I was not going to win this debate with Amber and besides it might save some time if they did spend the night. So I agreed to her plan as long as Shelly would drive the three of them to my house when they were done packing.
“There is one more condition Amber.”
“What is the condition Chris?”
“As soon as I drop you off at your house I am coming home and going straight to bed and I don’t want you girls waking me up with your nonsense. Do you agree Amber?”
“Yes I agree Chris but are you going to hold me responsible for Megan and Shelly?”
“Yes Amber; I am tired and I need my sleep, besides I cannot think of anything that you girls can come up with that is more important than this trip is to me. So even if the house is on fire please just put it out and leave me alone to my dreams.” It didn’t take me long to fall asleep after I got home from dropping off Amber. And as I expected it was hours before the girls showed up at my house with their luggage. I heard them debating over who should sleep on the couch. I heard Megan come to my door and peek in to see if I was asleep.
“Megan close that door right now, you are going to wake up Chris.”
“Don’t tell me what to do Amber, it is none of your business if I want to wake him up.”
“Megan, I already told you that he didn’t want to be woke up for nothing before tomorrow morning. And I don’t need him to be pissed off at me again for something that you do.”
“Don’t worry Amber, if I wake him up it won’t be to have a conversation.”
“Ha, Ha Megan, That is real funny, but for your information he made it very clear that unless two of us were up to having a threesome with him, then don’t even think of bothering him until morning.”
“And in case two of us were willing to go that route he would prefer if we could wait until morning and let him sleep.”
“Damn girls from what I have heard from the two of you about Chris, I am willing try anything once if one of you are feeling frisky. How about you Megan? Are you willing to share Chris with Amber and me?”
“No Shelly I am not interested in sharing him with anybody.”
Shelly looked at Amber and said, “I bet you are willing to share him with me if that is what he wants.”
“Wait a damn minute Shelly, I am sure he was joking when he said that to Amber, besides I have plans for this weekend and they don’t include the two of you.”
“Ah, come on Megan, you both have told me how good looking he is. Hell you even complained about the way his sister-in-law was flirting with him at the restaurant. Personally I think you are right about her, I am almost certain that he had sex with her. I know I would hop in the sack with him in a heartbeat, hell all he would have to do was whistle and my panties would drop to the floor. And you Amber, I know that you have had a crush on him since high school and after watching him bang your sister in the shower. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t already had his way with you. Hell you are probably
hoping that we fall asleep so you can sneak in there and get laid tonight.”
Shelly really laid into the two sisters and didn’t hold anything back, but of course she was like that. If you wanted an opinion on something and sometimes even when you didn’t, you could count on Shelly to put her two cents in. That is just the way she was, but today she had managed to hit a nerve with Meagan. This time Megan really like the guy that the three of them were fighting over and she didn’t trust either one of them.
“Amber is it true, are you just waiting for a chance to sleep with Chris?”
“Megan stop listening to Shelly, she is only trying to cause trouble between us again, like she always does. Damn Megan you fall for her bullshit every time,”
Shelly spat back at Amber. “That’s right, try to put all the limelight on me, I’m not the one trying to put the moves on Megan’s man. There is one thing we all know for certain and that is I am the only one is this room that hasn’t had the pleasure of sleeping with Chris. But trust me if I get the chance you both can go to hell because the more you fight over him, the more I wonder what all the fuss is about. As a matter of fact I have half the mind to take off my clothes and go in there and see what happens, personally I think I will come out with a smile on my face.”
“Shelly, from what I have been told, there will be plenty of good looking guys at the party this weekend. So rather than screw everything up for all of us, just to prove a point, why don’t we agree to let Chris sleep till morning like he asked us to do? Unless one of you think that he will not tell all of us to go to hell and send us home if we piss him off by waking him up. Personally I would rather be the one who gets to wake him in the morning. Hell I am not going to lie to you Megan even if you are my sister. I would hookup with Shelly in a minute and have a threesome with Chris for breakfast.”
“Hell Megan I’m willing to do it with you or Amber, just wake me up when one of you are ready.” Megan yelled at her sister as she walked towards the guest bedroom.
“As far as I am concerned you are both are a couple of bitches and if I find either one of you in his bedroom when I wake up there will be hell to pay.” With that, she slammed the bedroom door behind her.
