Epilogue
It was almost a year before the trials began and although I wouldn’t normally attend, this time, I made an exception. I wasn’t there alone though, the victims of the trafficking ring showed up every day, along with parents and friends. They were determined to represent those victims who hadn’t been lucky enough to survive, like Eva, who’d been beaten and tossed in a ditch like trash.
Michael and Melody had started a foundation in her name, and many of the others had volunteered to make trafficking of any kind, a thing of the past. Although it couldn’t bring back those who hadn’t survived, it was satisfying to hear the judge sentence Chanel Pinkay, aka Kennedy Sinclair and Frank Monty, aka Montgomery, to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Wally, Stacy, and Cesar were given the same sentences. Although it was heartbreaking to see the monster Michael’s mother had become, I was glad to see him excel in his new role at the foundation.
Alana and I have become quite a team, and although I still worry about her, she’s become a good PI and is thinking about law school down the road. Of course, I haven’t told her how much I hate lawyers, but she’ll find that out soon enough.

Enjoy This Book? You Can Make a Big Difference!
Reviews are the most powerful tool I have when it comes to getting attention for my books. As much as I’d like to have the ability to take out full page ads and run a media blitz, I just don’t have the resources.
The one thing I do have are readers who love Sam Parker as much as I do and want to support my efforts as an author. And that’s something that money can’t buy!
Honest reviews are very powerful and can help to get the word out about my books. If you’ve enjoyed this book, would you mind taking just 5 minutes and adding a review on this books page at Amazon? Thank you so much! It means so much to me!
