Piper paused and Aiden saw her look worriedly at him all of a sudden as if she realized she’d spoken in complete science talk and was worried he was offended. “So, you think my genes are sexy?” Aiden’s lips quirked. “I think it’s sexy when you talk science to me.”
“Really? You’re not just saying that to get laid?”
Aiden laughed as he wrapped his arms around her waist, letting his hands cup her ass. “Really, Piper. I love you as you are, and that includes your brain, heart, and sexy bits,” he said, squeezing her ass.
Piper took a step back and Aiden dropped his hands from around her. Had he pushed it too far? He knew it was early, but his job required him to know his mind and make split-second decisions. Falling in love with Piper Davies was the easiest decision he’d ever made.
Piper reached up slowly and with a single tug, the towel wrapped around her fell to the floor. “Wow, Piper. You’re perfect,” Aiden said, his voice low and graveled as his throat had suddenly gone dry. That’s when he saw it, the hidden sexiness he’d only caught glimpses of underneath her scrubs. When Piper felt comfortable to be herself, she was a confident vixen.
Piper sauntered toward him, her hips swaying, her breasts bouncing, and Aiden’s mouth went dry. He wanted to take her hard and fast, but he knew this wasn’t the time. Instead, he kicked off his shoes as Piper began to slowly unbutton his shirt. When she’d stripped him bare, he scooted against the pillows and reached for a condom as he let Piper take control. There was something about them together that was explosive. Every touch, every kiss, and the way her legs slid against his. Aiden bit back a groan as Piper explored him with her fingers and lips. She was going to kill him, and he’d die a happy man.
With their lips fused together, Aiden flipped Piper onto the bed. She’d had her fun. Now it was his turn. Every hitch of her breath, every time she tried to stay quiet but couldn’t, he’d only push her further to a delicious point of tension. Her body trembled as his ached, and when he finally slid on the condom and they began moving together, it was a lot more than oxytocin binding them together. They were bound fully— heart, mind, and soul.

Piper lay curled against his side. Her head was on his chest, her arm was on his stomach, and his leg was thrown over hers. She smelled as if she’d just cooked an Italian meal and looked like she’d had mind-blowing sex. Aiden smiled with pride as she nuzzled her head against his chest, her eyes closed, and her face soft with sexual contentment.
The windows on each side of the bed were open, but the drapes were pulled and Aiden watched the shadows playing off the far side of the wall. The sun and shadows danced. While he stroked Piper’s hair, he saw the flicker of a shadow that didn’t belong. Aiden silently grabbed the nearest weapon, which happened to be the gigantic solid silicone dildo of “The Royal Member” as Piper continued her nap. He held it tightly in his hands as the shadow slipped from the drapes.
Aiden made his move. He shoved Piper off the bed and leapt to his feet. Piper screamed, Aiden swung, and the dildo slammed into the side of the intruder’s head. The man, covered in desert camouflage fatigues and face paint, grunted and pulled a knife as Aiden grabbed the cock and balls of the dildo as if it were a staff.
“Come on, mate,” Aiden taunted. The man made a swipe with the knife and Aiden smacked the detailed dildo’s head against the man’s knuckles. He grunted at the pain of the solid sex toy smashing against bone. The two men continued to circle in a deadly game of knife versus dildo.
The man slashed and Aiden tried to spin out of the way but felt the blade slice through his upper arm. He knew from past experience the cut wasn’t deep, and as he spun around he jabbed the dildo into the man’s face. He’d been trying to blind him, but it ended up being more of a smack across the cheek.
“What the hell? Who hits a man in the face with a dildo?” the intruder shouted before lunging forward with his knife. Aiden moved to block the attack and the knife lodged itself in his weapon. The man cursed as he tried to pull the knife from where it was lodged, quite literally, in the king’s shaft.
Piper’s head popped up from the floor. “Dylan?”
“Why are you naked?” her brother Dylan growled as he yanked on the knife harder, but it wasn’t coming out. “I’ll kill you,” he threatened Aiden. “You kidnap my sister, force yourself on her, and then hit me in the face with a dildo. You’re a dead man.”
“Dyl!” Piper yelled as she grabbed the sheet from the bed. “Aiden didn’t kidnap me. He’s my bodyguard.”
“You slept with your client?” Dylan accused. Neither man was letting go of his weapons. Aiden was trying to pull the dildo toward him as Dylan was trying to pull the knife out as well.
“I’m not her bodyguard anymore. I called in backup when I knew I was emotionally compromised. But Piper was kidnapped before he arrived,” Aiden grunted as they circled each other with the knifed dildo between them.
“Piper?” Dylan asked. Her name conveyed all the questions he had.
“It’s true. Eddie should be here in an hour. He’s flying in from Rahmi, and in the meantime, Draven said if we left the palace we could take his guards with us.”
“But he’s been with you, what three days, and you’re falling into bed with him?”
“Don’t you dare question your sister! Who she makes love with is none of your business,” Aiden said, dropping the dildo and taking a swing at Dylan. Dylan grabbed the royal dildo and swung it. Aiden ducked, ramming his shoulder into Dylan’s stomach, shoving him to the floor.
“Stop it!” Piper yelled, but the two men were already at it.
“I know who you are, but I obviously missed something in your history,” Aiden said and he tried to get a handle on his opponent. “What are you?” He was well trained as they went hit for hit. Well, it was more hit, block, hit, block. It was like they had the same playbook.
Dylan smirked at him, and not kindly either. “Wouldn’t you like to know? You better not touch my sister again or I’ll shove my knife into the real thing instead of a plastic mold.”
“Dylan! If you don’t stop right this instant I’m going to tell Mom all about that night I caught you and Jackson—”
“Okay!” Dylan said, leaping off Aiden and staring accusatorily at him. “But you’re not only a bodyguard either.”
“SAS. You?” Aiden replied.
“Something like that.”
“Ugh,” Piper said with a roll of her eyes. “Why are you here? Why are you sneaking into my room through the window?”
Aiden grabbed his pants and stepped into them while Dylan put one foot on the head of the royal member and his other foot on the balls and tried to yank his knife free. “Royal Member?” Dylan muttered with disgust as he read the inscription. “I never thought I’d need to get my knife tested for STDs.”
“Dylan,” Piper said with impatience.
“Uncle Miles told me you were in mortal danger and sent me the last GPS coordinates before your GPS tracker was destroyed, which was this room.”
“You mean Draven doesn’t know you’re here?” Aiden asked with amusement.
“I thought he was aiding—” Dylan stopped talking with a smile and a shake of his head. “I think the uncles were having some fun with us.”
“My uncles placed GPS trackers on me and then sent you in thinking Aiden had kidnapped me with Draven’s help. I’m going to kill them,” Piper said with a stomp of her foot.
“Hey, it’s what we do,” Dylan said with a shrug.
“I’m really starting to like your family more and more,” Aiden said as he pulled his shirt on. “To be fair to your uncles, they might have given me the GPS trackers. I’m the one who put them in your bras and various other bags, shoes, and clothing.”
“You’re not half bad yourself,” Dylan said, trying to wiggle his knife free from the large replica of Draven’s dick. “But you touch my sister again . . .”
Aiden rolled his eyes as the door opened and Aiden reached for his gun
as Dylan brandished the knife-dildo weapon.
“Hey, as you can tell I’m already circumcised,” Draven said at the horror of seeing his shaft dangling off the knife.
Piper was about to blow. She was furious. “Get out! Everyone get out!”
“If you want the real thing, I’m happy to comply,” Draven winked. Piper growled. Not cute either. She looked like she was about to rip his prick right off.
“Fine, fine,” Draven said, holding up his hands. “Hey, when did you get here?”
“Just a couple minutes ago,” Dylan said as he casually tried to work the knife from the dildo again.
“You’ve got to cup the balls if you’re yanking on it like that,” Draven told Dylan as he stared at the man trying to work the knife free.
“Dylan, get out.” Piper was about to lose it.
“What? I just got here,” he said, crossing his arms over his wide chest and grinning. He knew Aiden was about to get it for the GPS trackers.
“I’m not going to apologize for putting trackers on you. It’s how I found you.”
“Dylan, out!” Dylan didn’t budge and Piper turned red. “Or I’ll tell Mom about that time you and Jackson—”
“You already threatened me with that.”
“No, the other time,” Piper said smugly.
Her brother was up and out of the room in a split second, pulling Draven with him.
Piper turned to Aiden. “How dare you put trackers on me without telling me?”
“I dare because it’s my job to keep you safe. It wasn’t like I was tracking your movements because I thought you were out on a date with someone else.”
Piper was fuming. Miles had warned him she wasn’t used to being tracked like the other Davies cousins. “Babe,” Aiden started but then a pillow smacked him in the face.
“Don’t babe me. You could have told me!” Aiden crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a yeah-right look. “Okay, so maybe I wouldn’t have allowed it.”
“Have I ever done anything to put you in danger?”
Piper deflated. “No. You haven’t. But don’t ever do that again!” she said, hurling another pillow at him.
“About that . . . I’ll be needing to put some more trackers on you until Phobos is caught.”
“Aiden!”
The door opened and Dylan stuck his head in. “Did you say Phobos?”
Piper flung up her hands. “I’ve lost this discussion, haven’t I?”
Aiden grinned at her. “Babe, it’s not about winning or losing. It’s about being together. And make-up sex.”
A knife went flying past Aiden’s nose and landed in the headboard. “There will be no make-up sex with my sister.”
“I don’t stay around long enough for make-up sex. It is worth it? I guess I could have sex, get in a fight, and then have make-up sex all before morning,” Draven called from the hall.
“Do you give them all a copy of the Royal Member as a parting gift?” Aiden asked.
Dylan covered up a laugh with a cough and turned to his sister. “He’s in. I won’t even give him shit at the family dinner.”
“I do. How did you know that?” Draven asked.
“Just a guess,” Aiden said, trying to keep a straight face as he and Dylan looked at each other. He could tell they were both imagining a closet in Draven’s room lined with Royal Members jutting up from where they rested on their balls, ready to be handed out like party favors.
“Was there something you needed?” Piper asked, sounding remarkably similar to her mother about to lose her temper. Dylan took a step back and gestured with his head for Aiden to do the same.
“Zain is set to call in five minutes. And now that you don’t smell, I thought you might want to reward me.” Draven wiggled his eyebrows as he peered around the door.
“Dylan, do you have another knife?” Aiden asked, staring down the sovereign.
“Fine,” Draven said with a roll of his eyes. “Come on. We need to take this call.” Draven turned and began walking away with Dylan. Aiden grabbed the clothes for Piper and helped her dress.
“We still need to talk,” Piper said as sternly as she could.
“Yes, dear,” Aiden said before placing a kiss on her lips. He loved how she melted under him before playfully swatting him. It was time to get back to work.

Piper sat down in the office and let Dylan and Aiden take the lead as they talked with all the uncles and Rahmi security at her parents’ house. She was still a little peeved about having GPS trackers all over her. But at the same time, she understood. Piper didn’t want to remember Dylan seeing her naked. First Jace saw her in her bra, and then Dylan saw her naked. At least he wasn’t wearing a helmet cam and broadcasting his invasion of Draven’s palace to Keeneston.
“How are you doing, sweetie?”
Piper looked up and saw her parents. At some point, Nash and the rest of the security experts had left, and it was just her parents on the video. Her mom was as big as a house and there was no way Piper was going to upset her. She sat in her favorite chair rubbing her belly. And her dad, while not always the overprotective one, was looking between her and Aiden with suspicion.
“I’m fine. Looking forward to getting a good night’s sleep.”
“You hear that, Aiden. Sleeeep,” Dylan said, dragging the word out.
“Dylan!” Piper smacked her brother who just laughed. “Mom! I forgot to tell you this funny story about Jack—” Piper started to say sweetly before Dylan took her to the ground, covering her mouth with his hand, and pinning her there. She wrestled with her brother as they rolled along the floor.
“That’s kind of turning me on. It would be better if it were me down there rather than your brother and we were naked, but whatever,” Draven interrupted.
Piper shoved off Dylan and rolled her eyes at Draven, but Aiden was already leaping across the desk toward his laughing face. “Mom, what are you doing?”
Her mother’s face was buried in her phone. “Nothing, dear.”
“Are you placing a bet on me?”
“No,” her mother said scandalously. “I’m placing it on Aiden.”
Aiden looked thrilled as he sat back down. Piper just shook her head. “So, what did y’all decide is the plan?”
“Spend the night here and then we’ll head back to Kentucky,” Dylan told her.
“But I wanted to stay away from Keeneston,” Piper told him.
“We will. Dylan, Eddie, and I are taking you back to the Burnstines’ farm,” Aiden told her.
“Jackson and his gang will help Aiden and Eddie keep you safe while a small group goes out looking for Phobos,” Dylan said.
“Small group as in you,” Piper said with concern.
“It’ll be taken care of, and you’ll be away from Keeneston but still close at hand. Wheels up tomorrow at ten in the morning. We’ll be home for dinner. Well, I will. You’ll be somewhere without the Blossom Café nearby.”
Piper rolled her eyes at her brother again as her dad finally spoke. “Did you have any ideas for FAVOR? Or have you been too preoccupied?” He stared daggers at Aiden as he asked.
“Pierce Davies!” Tammy smacked her husband’s arm and then smiled and batted her eyelashes at Aiden. “Piper is doing just fine.”
“Actually, I am. Aiden helped me talk it out, and I have a few ideas.”
“Eddie is bringing everything from Rahmi, so you should be able to work on it when we get to Kentucky. That is, if you can find some lab space.”
“That shouldn’t be a problem,” Pierce said, “but Piper needs to be focused.”
“Pierce Davies, I swear if you don’t close your mouth right this second I will get pregnant again the second after I have this child.”
Her parents began a whispered argument and Piper must have looked ready to lose it because Dylan stepped in. “Dad, Aiden’s been great. I won’t let the uncles give him any crap. You’ll be able to compete for biggest badass son-in-law with this one.”
>
“Badass son-in-law?” Aiden whispered to her.
“The uncles are in competition over who has the biggest badass for a son-in-law. I think Walker and Nash are in a dead heat. But Layne did beat up Nash, so who knows?”
“Oh, that is a good point,” her father said. “Well, um, carry on.”
“We’ll see you tomorrow. We love you,” her mother said before they ended the call.

Piper wanted to die of embarrassment. She hated being the center of attention and right now everyone was looking at her.
“Yeah, I’m out. I have one badass penis, but I’m not getting married to you,” Draven finally said as he stood from behind his desk. “But all this talk of my penis has me in a certain mood. Excuse me. I’ll see you at dinner at seven.” Draven walked out the door and was already setting up an assignation with one of the many women on speed dial.
“I’m sorry,” Piper said to Aiden. “No one is expecting a marriage. I know I’m not.”
“Actually, I’d say forty percent of Keeneston is expecting one in the next three months,” Dylan said as he put away his phone.
“Did you just bet on me?” Piper asked with horror.
“Hell yes, I did.”
“Dylan!”
“You’re the one sleeping with him.”
Aiden chuckled as he put his hands in his slack’s pockets. “When do you think this blessed event will happen?”
“I said within the week. I know that life-and-death situations accelerate the, um, passions,” Dylan said with a wide grin.
“I’m seriously going to die now,” Piper muttered as she fell back onto a couch in the office.
“Come on, babe,” Aiden said with a knowing smirk on his face. “Let’s go take a walk around the gardens and plan our wedding.”
Piper took his offered hand. “That’s not funny.”
“Who said I was joking?”
