“I will tell my mother you said that, it will make her happy.”

“Tell me about your family,” she knew she could have someone look it up for her but she didn’t want to find anything out about him like that. She was going to find things out about him the old fashion way by talking.

“My mother and father have been married for forty-five years and still going strong.” Her eyes widen because that was a long time to stay happy. But then she started doing math in her head and wondered how old Angelo was.

“How old are you?” she asked and he chuckled.

“Legal,” he said with humor coating his accented voice, and she narrowed her eyes. “I’m thirty-eight.” Nodding she started to eat her dinner.

When they were done neither of them got up, she turned around on the seat with her wine glass in her hand and folded her legs under her butt.

“I want to know more about you since you said you desired more with me.” She said and stole a sip of wine.

He nodded. “Angel you can ask me anything. I want you to trust me and to feel safe with me. Whatever you want to know I will tell you.” He stood up and grabbed the wine bottle and took her hand. He led her to a living room with a very large flat screen on the wall. A black leather couch sat directly in front of the TV with a glass coffee table in front of the couch. He sat the wine and his glass on the table, then he took hers from her and placed her glass next to his.

“Ask away,” he said as he sat down and she sat next to him. “Put your legs on my lap.” she didn’t question him she just did what he asked. He started to massage her calves and she groaned.

“What do you like to do for fun?” she asked.

“I love to read and watch TV when I have time.” He gazed at her and she saw how much passion was behind those chocolate eyes.

“I have a really personal question I need to ask. If you don’t want to answer it then you don’t have to.” He nodded and arched an eyebrow giving her the go ahead. “How are you so wealthy?” she asked the question that had been on her mind since she saw where he lived.

He lifted an eyebrow and reached for his glass. He took a sip and kept his knowing eyes on her. “Since I know it matters to you I will answer your question. I am from a wealthy family but that doesn’t mean I don’t work hard. I have always valued hard work.” His voice didn’t hold the same warmth and playfulness as it did when she asked what he did for fun.

“Ask me anything,” she said hoping for something easy but knowing it wouldn’t be.

“Why don’t you do Relationships?” He asked the question she feared he would, she didn’t like to tell the story how her sister stole her high school boyfriend. It made her feel weak, and she hated to feel weak.

But she knew she needed to answer him or she would take two steps back. “I was fifteen when I started dating Brad the star quarterback for our football team. He was what every teenage girl wanted, handsome long blonde hair he kept back in a ponytail. He was so caring to everyone even if you weren’t part of his group he treated you like a human being. I fell hard for him fast and…” she grabbed her glass and chugged the rest of the wine. She needed to drink if she wanted to tell him the rest. “We were going to the same collage and he gave me a promise ring because I told him I didn’t want to be engaged that long.” And she knew something was wrong between them, she felt the change in them.

“I went to his house to talk about what we were going to do when we moved. I wanted to know why he didn’t want to get an apartment instead of living in the dorms. I walked into his bedroom to find my older sister being fucked by him. I had read books and watched movies when the woman said she felt her heart shatter. I thought it was all played up. But I was wrong because at that moment I felt my heart shatter along with all of my dreams. I gave my heart fully to one person and he crushed it in the palm of his hand.” Angelo didn’t say anything and it felt like hours but only seconds passed.

He took her hands in his and brought them to his lips he gently laid sweet kisses on each of her palms. “Nothing in life is perfect. Life is extremely disordered. Relationships are enormously complex. Outcomes are uncertain and people are foolish. But I believe if two people are connected at the heart, then it doesn’t matter what you do, or who you are; love knows no boundaries or barriers if two people who are destined to be together.”

She didn’t know what to say after that, he stole her words and she wasn’t easily speechless. Sitting her glass on the table, she crawled on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. Relationships used to scare the crap out of her but now with him she wasn’t frightened of what would happen she just didn’t want to be left broken again. Her mind told her to run fast and not to look back, but her heart wouldn’t let her feet move. He enfolded his arms around her back and he leaned his head back on the couch. He gazed up at her with so much affection her heart sped up.

Pushing herself on her knees so gradually, she lowered herself to capture his hypnotic lips. She didn’t think she would ever grow tired of kissing him. He gave her the butterflies she had been missing and she needed more of him.

He lifted her placing her on her back with him hovering above her, but he never broke their kiss. She wondered if he needed this kiss like she did, they both just expressed themselves to the point that left them feeling bared. She had a feeling he needed this just as much as she did.

His lips lightly brushed hers and she moaned. This man was aiming to drive her crazy, he took her hands in his and lifted them above her head and pinned them there.

“Kiss me!” she ordered and was rewarded with his lips crashing hard down on hers, tingles erupted throughout her body. She had never wanted anyone as much as she wanted him, he released one of her hands and she arched her back up as he ran his hand down her side.

This man knew how to drive a woman mad with just his lips and hands. He stole his lips from hers and kissed along her jaw and to her neck. He let go of her other hand and she didn’t waste any time. Her hands greedily reached for his shirt and she lifted it off with one quick motion. She was rewarded with his brilliant smile and his dimple. He took her by surprise by getting off of her. He placed his hand out in front of her, and her eyes roamed his bared beautiful mesmerizing sculpted chest. His long fingers unbutton his pants and he dropped them to the floor along with his boxers.

“I want to make love to you in my bed not on the couch.” She grinned because she wanted him to think of her when he sat on this couch. She placed her hand in his and instead of allowing him to pull her up she yanked him down on the couch. She threw her leg over his and straddled him.

She kissed his neck and slowly made her way to his ear. He groaned when she sucked his earlobe in her mouth. “I want you here,” she whispered and moved her face so she could look at him. “I want you right here so when you sit on this couch you think about what I did to you.”

He narrowed his darkening eyes and possessively claimed her with his sweet tasting mouth. She didn’t waste any time drawing his talented tongue into her mouth and she devoured him. This was what she could get used to… his kisses, his touch.

She felt his hands lifting her shirt off and she untangled her hands from around his neck to allow him to take it off. When his hands returned he unclasped her pants and when she tried to stand up he held her down. Taking her mouth from his she glanced down at his hands that were holding hers. He jerked and she heard fabric tearing.

“You should invest in only skirts from now on.” She wanted to yell at him for ripping her nine-hundred dollar pair of pants but she forgot why when his impatient fingers made their way under her panties and rubbed her clit. “Your legs are too sexy to keep covered.” He ran his hand down and back up her bared smooth leg.

“What are you doing to me?” she spoke the words that were floating in her head. He stared up at her and she framed his face with her little hands that looked so pale against his tanned skin.

“I am doing what you need,” he replied. She arched her eyebrow
s at him and he smiled at her unasked question. “You need to be loved, not fucked. You need to be shown that more can happen between a man and a woman. What your sister and ex did really messed you up and I want to be the one to erase those memories. You deserve everything in life and that includes love.” She kissed him, she wasn’t sure if she was able to love again but if she was she would fall for this man.

She sat on his lap in only her black lace bra and matching panties, his arms were wrapped around her back holding her to his naked chest. She kissed the side of his lips and smirked. “I want you now, you have sweet talked me enough for one night.”

He laughed and hugged her to him. “Can you reach my pants?” he asked and she crooked her head to the side and saw them; she nodded and grasped his light blue jeans in her hand. “There is a condom in the back pocket, I want you to put it on me.” She grinned as she found the red wrapped condom.

In the bedroom she was used to being the one in control but with him she had let him take over. Tonight she wanted to be back in control. Knowing it was a great deal that he was handing her it made her smile. Carefully she tore open the wrapper and she licked her lips as she placed the condom on him. Slowly she rolled it on to him and he moaned when she cupped his balls in her hand.

She lifted herself above him and gradually lowered herself down on him. She placed her hands on the back of the couch to support her as she raised up and down on his large staff. His hands held onto her hips but he didn’t urge her to speed up or slow down, he let her be in control and she treasured that. Every time she would lower herself completely down he would moan and squeeze gently on her hips.

She repeated that and quickened her pace; he had his eyes closed and she wanted to see them change to a dark brown. “Open…your eyes.” She ordered him and he reciprocated her demand. His eyes were on hers and she moved on him; he lifted his hips and she was the one groaning now.

“Angel you need to come before I do, I can’t…hold back too much longer.” He said sounding breathless and he moved a hand down to her clit. Rubbing her roughly she gasped because she was losing herself to this man. She shattered around him screaming his name, and he quickly followed her.

Dropping her head to his shoulder she tried to catch her breath and strength before she moved off of him, but right now she just wanted to be held by the man that was opening her up to so many new emotions.

  Chapter Eight

Angelo rested his head on top of hers, as she lay her head on his sweaty shoulder. He couldn’t believe how perfect she was for him, when she opened up and told him about her past he was stunned. She had been through heartbreak in her life and she wasn’t still over it, but he would get her passed it. She was already getting under his skin but he wasn’t complaining, because he would take her anyway he could get her.

His past was riddled in secrets and he wondered if he confessed them to her, would she leave him and never look back. She was coming to mean so much to him it scared him, because she needed to know the real him. He didn’t lie to her when he said his money came from his family but he didn’t tell her the full truth.

She lifted her head off of him and watermelon scent filled his nose. “What are you thinking about?” she asked in a sweet voice, and he smiled up at her.

He tucked a piece of her dark hair behind her ear. “That your hair smells like watermelon.” She narrowed her striking light blue eyes not believing his partial lie. “I like when you give me your serious face when my cock is still inside you.” He watched her face redden with her embarrassment and he enfolded in his arms.

He liked that she got embarrassed because he knew it didn’t happen easily. He stood up still inside of her and he was thankful when she wrapped her legs around his waist. He walked with her in his arms to his bedroom, and gently laid her on the bed. When he looked down at her she was gazing at him.

“What?” he asked because he couldn’t figure out why she was looking at him like that.

She grinned causing his chest to ache. “You are kind of amazing, do you know that?” she yawned and covered her mouth.

“I am aware of that,” he winked at her. “Angel I will be right back, I need to jump in the shower before I come to bed.” He knew she would be fast asleep when he came back.

“Okay, I will see you soon then.” She smiled and yawned again, he had to force himself to leave her and to walk into the bathroom. At the door he glanced at her over his shoulder and she had rolled around giving him a perfect view of her nicely plump ass.

A few hours later she woke up with her heart racing, having heard something. Glancing to her left she saw Angelo, and as she touched his bared shoulder his eyes flew open.

“I think someone is in here.” She whispered and he jumped out of bed. She quickly followed. “Wait, what if they have a gun?” he turned to face her and grinned.

“Angel, if someone is up here then they will be the one leaving in a bag.” He moved to her and took her face in his large strong and gentle hands. “I won’t let anyone harm you, you are mine. Stay here I will be right back.” He kissed her lips quickly and then turned around leaving her alone in his bedroom. A part of her told herself to stay but she was becoming attached to Angelo and didn’t want anything to happen to him.

She hated feeling like this which was why she didn’t let herself feel for anyone. She saw a robe on back of the door, grabbed it and put it on. It swallowed her but she didn’t care as long as she wasn’t naked. She said a curse and slowly walked out of the dark bedroom and towards the living room. A few hours ago she rode Angelo on the couch and now her heart was racing because her stalker may be in the house.

She heard something crashing and a loud thump; she ran towards the sounds. She felt on the wall for a light switch and flipped on the light. Finally she was going to see who her stalker was, but as an alternative she saw Angelo and Axel fighting.

Axel punched Angelo in the face and she ran towards them and placing herself between them. She wondered if they knew who they were fighting, the looks on their faces said they did. “Stop it, now.” She demanded.

She turned her attention to Angelo and his face that was already starting to bruise. “Angel, I told you to stay in the bedroom. What if he was your stalker you would have walked out in the middle of something and you could have gotten hurt.” She knew he was concerned about her, and it warmed her but she didn’t like to be told what to do.

“If you want a relationship with me then know this, I don’t like to be told what to do. I don’t care if it’s what you think is what’s best for me. I am a high profile woman and I will always have someone that wants something from me.” She turned her head to the side to look at her driver and friend. “Care to explain why in the hell you’re here?”

Axel narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms against his chest. “I was worried so I had a friend that’s a cop run his name to find out where he lived. I had to bride the man at the door to let me up here. I needed to know you were safe.” His eyes said more to her than she wanted, she saw love in his aquamarine eyes.

She took a deep breath and moved away from her two men. “Axel, I already told you I trusted him. Now I need you to trust me. I know without a doubt that he isn’t the one that is stalking me.” She twisted around to face them. “If you want to help then find the person behind this before they become violent.” Her last stalker didn’t get the chance to become violent, he was caught with everything he needed to kidnap her.

Angelo took a step towards her and Axel growled. “You don’t know him,” he said.

  “I know enough.” She answered.

“Just because the sex is good doesn’t mean you know him. You are usually smarter than this. You typically do a full background check on the man first including blood work.” Her face grew hot with her humiliation.

“That’s enough, Axel get out of my home before I call the police.” Angelo cut in before she could say anything back to him. “And if you ever disrespect Evangeline I will make sure yo
u will be the one hurting.” Axel didn’t move for a minute he just kept his eyes on hers.

Slowly he nodded his head in understanding that she was choosing Angelo over him and he walked past her to the front door. Neither of them moved until the door was closed, then she threw herself into his arms. She was scared that her stalker had turned out to be crazy and broke into his condo. She buried her face into his bared chest and inhaled. He smelled of woodsy vanilla, and that was becoming her new favorite smell. He could have been hurt if it was someone dangerous.

She pushed him back and placed her hands on her hips. “Don’t you ever do that to me again!” she didn’t mean to yell at him but she was terrified that she could have lost him. So many thoughts ran around in her head, and she hated that she was feeling like this. “I can’t lose you, not when…I just found you.” He didn’t say anything he just moved towards her, he seized her face in his hands and kissed her.

“And I can’t lose you. You should have stayed in the bedroom. What if it was your stalker that was here?” She needed to move away from him…she couldn’t think with him this close and touching her. She turned away from him. “I can’t let you fight my battles for me, I understand why you wanted me to stay in your bedroom.” She twisted around and saw more on his face than she wanted.

“Sometimes you have to allow people to help you, and Evangeline whatever places fear in your eyes, know I would never do anything to harm you.” She didn’t think he would hurt her physically but she hadn’t ruled him out emotionally.

“I know you wouldn’t hurt me,” she said and had to look away from his knowing eyes. She wasn’t sure if it was a good thing that he seemed to be able to see everything she was hiding and it had only been a few days.

“Come back to bed with me…please?” he asked and lifted his hand for her. She didn’t want to say no to him; she wanted to fall asleep in his arms.
