The Place Where

“I would kill,” the Wolf whispered.

“It's calm,” the girl answered just as quietly, “will it still be.”

  - What? ..

  - Oh ... This is Anastas! - She jumped up and, blindingly smiling, waved to the fighter who had come out, who gracefully bowed to her and blew a kiss.

“God ...” the Wolf only managed to exhale, watching this scene. “I hope he loses.”

“He will win, he will definitely win, this is his last fight under the contract,” the girl smiled sadly. - It's good that the “surprise” is the next battle.

  - Do not forget about the small intermission and the entertaining part of the evening.

“Damn,” her sweetly smiling lips whispered.

The second battle was very bright and intense. Opponents were almost equal in everything: in power, and in speed, and in skill. But one still wanted this victory more. And it was he, bleeding, who remained standing in the arena over the defeated enemy. Anastas took a breath, not yet fully realizing that his contract was over and he was free. Almost free, he reminded himself. Another evening in the role that his boss had prepared for him - and that's it, no contract holds him anymore. He raised his head and smiled triumphantly through force. To the cheers, he went upstairs and went to the table, where his last task sat.

“Anastas, I'm so glad,” Alexey extended both hands to him, and he had to sit in a chair next to her. “Is this a great victory for me?”

“Of course for you, catatori,” he answered wearily and tried to smile at her, but suddenly he felt as though he had been scanned and, with a start, looked carefully at the girl.

“It's so sweet,” she continued to twitter and smile dazzlingly, but something was wrong, a shadow flickered in her eyes. - Oh, look, they continue to entertain us.

At this time, the light in the hall was again extinguished, and the enchanting dance and vocal action continued in the arena. Anastas felt that his wounds were not as harmless as he thought in the heat of battle. And now, when the adrenaline began to burn, he felt more pain. Suddenly, he felt a light touch of soft tissue that wrapped around him and suddenly drastically pulled his wounds on his chest and ribs. He barely managed to stifle a groan. But a quiet exclamation of surprise still erupted from him when he realized that he was somehow somehow tied up with his belt by a girl sitting next to him.

“Quiet, Anastas,” her voice was barely audible, “do not make sudden movements.” You urgently need to go to the hospital. What did you only think when you went up here? She sighed and put six capsules into his hand. - Drink it now, it is an analgesic, regenerant and stimulant. It will be better if just bite through the capsules. They and the bandage will help. When the doctor decides to treat the wounds, simply allow the dressing to be removed.

  - Who are you? - Anastas chewed the capsules.

“Alexey,” the girl answered. “Now sit quietly and do not interfere in anything,” she turned her attention to her companion. “Wolf, getting out of the arena can only be teleportation.”

“It won't work out for you,” Anastas whispered barely audibly, the capsules had already begun to act. - A creature in a black hood on the opposite side of the arena drowns out any psi activity.

“Thank you, Anastas,” the girl said in a quiet voice thanks and warmth. - Try not to get involved in anything soon.

“So you need to remove the silencer,” Wolf said thoughtfully. “But we have no weapons.”

“The weapon will be in the arena ... So, I have an idea ...” she turned to the Wolf and, with a dazzling smile, laid a hand on his shoulder. “This is the plan,” Alexei continued with the Morse Code: “We will have to jump into the arena. Tall, but what can you do. Next, you have to protect Ennio and be ready to teleport with him at my signal to the guys. I'll take care of the creature in black. ”

“It's him,” Alexey nodded to Wolf when the participants of the third fight entered the arena. - Ready? - Wolf nodded shortly and stole up. “Then let's go,” her eyes flashed: the pampered young lady disappeared without a trace, and two warriors-dey jumped into the arena at once. And then it spun.

The appearance in the arena of the girl caused a slight stupor, which played into the hands of dei. In those few seconds that they managed to win, the Wolf threw Ennio behind him, being able to shout to him that they had been sent by his brother, and Alexei transformed the dress into a combat model and captured one of the swords. And then guards rushed at them, forcing them to survive several unpleasant moments. Feeling that time was running out for seconds, the girl swung and threw her sword into the figure in the black hood. The creature recoiled and lost concentration for a moment.

  - Now! Alex shouted, using her psi abilities to throw creatures with glasses while repelling the attacks of the remaining guards.

  - Something is not letting! - The wolf quickly looked around. - The two of them, Alex, the second sat clearly behind us.

  - Heck! - the girl turned and launched her hairpins like throwing needles into the second figure. - Come on, Wolf! Now! - and then she felt something cold and completely alien to her mind. “My God ...” instinctively she unfolded the psi shield, and in time one by one two psi strikes hit him. She moaned, but stood it.

  - Now, Wolf!

The next blow was such a force that she fell to her knee, the creatures joined forces, and she knew that she could not stand it for another ... Another blow ... Blood circles darkened and swam in her eyes. The girl gathered all her strength, all her pain and rage, all the energy of the psi shield and sent two impulses - one to the Wolf, and the second to two embraced figures in black. She heard how the Wolf teleported with a loud bang, felt the inhuman screech of creatures in black with all skin, and then their last psi kick covered her - a flash of pain blew up, it seemed, the whole body, and then darkness came ...

  Chapter 20

A tall, broad-shouldered man in an impeccable tuxedo that did not fit into the cold detachment of the medical ward, carefully examined the girl's figure lying limp on the table. He ran a little absentmindedly through his blue-black hair and shook his head. What she was able to do with the teens ... He simply could not understand this: such a force, enclosed in such a fragile and harmless-looking shell. The man easily touched her hand: under warm skin, his pulse was barely perceptible, proving the impossible - she was alive. After multiple teens psi attacks, after their Last General Attack, she was alive, unconscious, but still alive, unlike them.He looked at the other table, where the remains of the teens lay, formerly his strongest weapon, his strongest team, his last argument. Nothing could help them, even the fact that they were considered immortal ... And the creature that killed them was alive and clearly did not intend to die in the near future. Dark blue, almost black, the man's eyes glided over the girl's figure, noting and remembering every detail. He clearly liked what he saw. “Very good,” he grinned to himself, “I wonder what she is like in bed.”

“We got the test results, Simeon,” the young woman who came in was so much like a man that there was not the slightest doubt about their relationship.

“Something interesting, Sai?” - He flexibly turned on her voice.

“Very much,” the woman pulled a miniature computer out of her white coat pocket and designed the results of the studies on the air, “look.”

“You know,” Simeon sighed wearily, “I understand little of this.”

  - Everything is simple here. Look, she enlarged the data part and the DNA model. - Nothing special was found in her blood, neither stimulants, nor drugs, nor unknown substances. Even alcohol, although all the cameras filmed that she drank wine, and more than once. Next, her DNA.

  - Very similar to ours.

“Sounds like it, but not really.” Her view is close to us, closer than the rest. And yet, her DNA is even closer to THEIR DNA than ours.

“And what does that mean?” - the man frowned.

“Perhaps nothing,” the woman shrugged, “and perhaps our ancestors were still common.” And then she stands
closer to them.

“Can you tell me where she came from?” - Simeon tried to digest what he heard.

  - Yes. And this is the most interesting - a slight mockery appeared in the eyes of Sai, a little brighter than his. “It is you who are responsible for her appearing here.” You and your stupid games.

  - What? - surprise directly flooded him.

“See for yourself,” the woman ran her fingers along the keys, and the girl's reflection, now looking more alive than the original, and a line of information flickered in the air. - Her name is Alexei, she is the commander of the team Day, recruited for you by Alexander recently. Aren't you tired of playing these stupid games yet, Simeon?

“Sis, this helps me fight boredom, you know that very well,” he smiled slightly at her.

“So where did you dig her up?” - Sai tiredly rubbed her whiskey.

“She's not from our world.” Her planet is called Earth, and she is not like anything that I saw before. Earthlings are very backward, but the warriors from them are excellent, ”he grinned slyly. “Moreover, they believe that they are just playing, and the world where they fall is simply the world of the Game.”

“If they are as retarded as you say, then why is she so strong?” - the woman frowned.

“I don't know, it's you dock in terms of conjecture and theories,” he thought. “Although ... perhaps the experimental program by which I selected this team caused the rapid development of certain abilities in her at the subconscious level, and maybe not only on the subconscious. It will be necessary to test this program again.

“N-da-ah, Simeon,” she rolled her eyes, “you always said you hated science, but I turned out to correctly think that you were just pretending.”

“There is little,” the man agreed and went to the table on which the girl was lying. “Can you bring her back to consciousness?”

“I can, she's just sleeping right now.” I gave her a psi-blocker just in case, - Sai took out some thin transparent ampoule from her pocket, broke it and brought it to the nose of the girl, who inhaled once, twice, and then slowly opened her eyes ...

  * * *

Alexey slowly opened her eyes, feeling pain and heaviness in literally every cell of her body, and the first thing she saw was a thin female hand and a sleeve of a white coat, then she heard a pleasant female voice:

  - Well, she's recovering.

“Thank you, Sai,” the deep male voice sounded too even, “now I can handle it.”

“Well, yes, of course,” the owner of the white coat snorted, but nevertheless the girl heard quiet, receding steps, and then a slight hiss of the door that opened and closed.

  - Where I am? - Alexei with difficulty raised herself and tried to sit up, but the pain and dizziness did not allow her to do this.

“Here I ask questions,” the cold male voice sounded very close, and she turned her head slightly to see the speaker: but she still couldn't examine him - her vision kept failing, his figure simply blurred before her eyes.

  - What? - the girl closed her eyes, struggling with another bout of pain.

“Look at me when I'm talking to you!” - the voice barked, and someone's steel fingers, glaring at the shoulders, jerkily put her on her feet. From surprise and pain, she moaned softly and opened her eyes. And the fingers moved to the chin and lifted it, forcing to meet the cold gaze of beautiful eyes.

“How did you manage to destroy the teens?” - sharply asked the owner of the eyes, into which Alex stared without blinking, and which simply fascinated her with their depth. Without waiting for an answer, he shook it again, causing pain.

“It hurts me,” she whispered, barely audible, still not fully recovering and not realizing what was happening to her. For a few moments, he let her go, and she had to lean on the table in order to stay on her feet. So he came back and made her crack some kind of capsule. Anesthetizing, she thought as the pain receded a bit, allowing her to look around. Looking around, the girl slowly turned her head, and her eyes settled on an incomprehensible mass, frozen on the next table, under which she noticed the familiar black hoodies ... With each second, her head cleared more and more.

“So how did you do that?”

  - What? - she turned to her voice and froze - she had never seen such a handsome man: an ideal strong figure, a bright expressive face, incredible eyes. Seeing her reaction, he curled his lips in a grin.

  “How did you kill them?”

“I don't know for sure,” Alexey squeezed her temples, trying to calm her headache. - It turned out instinctively.

“It means, all the same, the subconscious,” he said contentedly, glancing along her figure, each line of which was wrapped like a second skin, a transformer jumpsuit.

Aleksey had already regained consciousness enough to notice his openly undressing gaze, and to be wary. She did not like this look at all. There was something strange and alien in him, something terrible. The man stepped towards her, pulled him to him and kissed. Kissed as if he had every right to do so. The girl elbowed him in the solar plexus. The blow turned out to be quite sensitive, and Alex managed to break out and bounce a couple of steps, while she almost stretched out on a huge bed that could not come from. She looked around - it was already a completely different room. The man laughed and looked at her with interest:

  - It will be interesting. You can resist a little, but the result will still be the same, - a confident smile wandered over his lips. “I would prefer a bed.” Although, sooner or later, we still get there.

“I don't want this,” Alexey warily watched as he casually threw off his jacket, took off his bow tie and unfastened the top buttons of a snow-white shirt.

  - Come on, you'll still beg me to repeat ...

“No,” she straightened up and prepared to defend herself. “Thank you for helping me, and now I want to return to my friends.”

“You won't go anywhere, little Day,” he clearly amused, “you were captured by my people, and you are in my full power.” Perhaps I would let you go if I were still on my team, but your team no longer belongs to me. Yesterday, your team moved to another, and you became my enemy, and today you are my captive.

  - And what will happen tomorrow? - the girl tried to concentrate for teleportation, but something bothered her all the time.

“We'll find out tomorrow,” the man threw the shirt down on the floor and stepped toward it, “and today we'll just have a good time.” I have never had a dugout.

Realizing that the conversations were useless, Alexei began to act ... By the way he easily got away from her first blow, the girl realized that she couldn't cope with him now, all she could do was to win enough time to teleport . Soon, she already thought that he was somehow blocking her. The plan immediately ripened in her head, and she began to dance with him in a dance. He was a very strong opponent, but she still managed to get him and stun him once. This couple of seconds that he came to, she should have been enough to have time to teleport, but nothing happened. She staggered, the battle exhausted her, attempts to teleport caused a wild headache ... The man grabbed her roughly, she hit him, then he just picked it up and threw it into the wall. She fell, rolled, and rose to her feet again , determined to fight to the last, in spite of the pain and weakness that was rolling over her in waves. She defended herself and attacked, fell, rose, fell again ...

  - Damn you! - the man cursed, watching as Alex struggled to rise after another fall. She was a very strong opponent, he had to admit it, for a long time he had not seen his own blood, and this girl spilled it. Having barely survived the strongest psi hit, weakened and exhausted, but not broken, she was not going to give up.

  - Damn you! Let's see how long you live in the ring. ”He turned and left the room, and only then she allowed herself to slip into the darkness ...

  Chapter 21

Time after time, evening after evening, she went out into the arena and won. She had long lost track of time. Sometimes she could not even remember who she was. But she did not give up and did not bre
ak. He came several times, but she met him with laughter and mockery and did not concede. In the end, he left her alone, or maybe just decided that she was crazy. Sometimes it seemed to her like that ... she felt something only when she fought and won ... She won because she wanted to live ... because she wanted to return home ... although she didn't remember where he was already ...

Kayden came to this club in search of Simeon, he was eager to start a new game with his long-time opponent, and he witnessed completely unusual fights. One to five fighters were put up against the exhausted fragile girl. She moved gracefully and deadly, but he could see how she was saving her strength. Not wanting to, he felt that he was drawn to this girl, he wanted her to win. And she won, covered in her own and someone else's blood, she proudly stood in the arena, completely ignoring the cries of the audience.
