The Fall of Lilith Page 31

by Vashti Quiroz-Vega

Gadreel grabbed his hand while he spoke, her attention fixed on him. Samael engrossed in his own darkly teeming emotions scowled at her and Dagon, and kicked a stone that lay at his feet. Dagon narrowed his eyes at him, but continued his account.

“The sea giant lowered its head to get a better look at me. I stood my ground, trembling all the while. The creature’s eyes met mine. I wondered why the eyes appeared so familiar.

“I heard a well-known voice in my mind. ‘Dagon, it is I, Fornues, your friend.’

“Did the monster swallow my friend, I wondered.”

Lilith laughed and slapped her thigh.

“‘No, Dagon! I am Fornues, and I am also the monster you see before you.’

I looked at the sea monster and after observing its sleepy, hazel-green eyes, I knew it was my friend returning my stare.

“‘Look upon me. Behold the grotesque creature I have become,’ Fornues said without breaking words.

“I complained that I, too, had been transformed, since I held no wings, but instead possessed a fish tail, fins, gills, and scales.

“‘Nonetheless,’ he said, ‘you are still a semblance of what you once were. I recognized you. I have turned into a hideous monster of the sea. There is nothing left of who I was. I have been cursed worse of all.’ Fornues dropped the last three words to a grumble.

“I consoled him, telling him he could count on me, as well as the others, to always be his friends despite his appearance. I urged him to continue emitting the high-pitched sound, for its familiarity led me to him. I thought perhaps the others had heard it as well, and would follow it to us. I was right. I did request he emit it not quite as loudly, for I feared he would render me deaf.”

  Dagon chuckled.

“You are a good friend and ally.” Gadreel’s lips parted and she arched her back. “Fornues is right—you do look as handsome as you did in Floraison.” Gadreel glanced at Samael. He glared at both of them. Dagon, in turn, clenched his jaw and glowered at him.

  Chapter 19

  Sorrow and Desire

Lilith caught sight of the rising tension between Dagon and Samael, and she rose to her feet. “I think we have heard enough accounts of our fall from God’s favor for the time being.”

“I have not yet told my story.” Samael frowned.

“There shall be plenty of time for that later,” Lilith said. “Let us partake of the abundant fruit available to us.”

Samael crossed his arms over his chest and nodded.

“Despite all we have endured, at least we are now free to enjoy what was forbidden in Floraison.” Lilith ogled at Satan. He smiled.

Dagon and Gadreel exchanged grins. Samael forced a lackluster smile.

The angels satiated their bellies with coconut. Desiring time alone with Satan, Lilith guided him away from the others. She invited him to sit with her under another coconut tree.

Beneath the tree she caressed his body, kissed his chest and neck, and touched him in places designed to bring him great pleasure. She whispered in his ear, “It is wonderful to be free, is it not? Foolish laws no longer bind us. You think you know pleasure? I shall show you pleasures beyond your wildest dreams.”

Satan drew quick, shallow breaths, and it was not long before he was fully aroused.

From a nearby tree Samael observed Lilith seduce Satan as she had seduced him in the ice cave. He narrowed his eyes and tightened his lips, but he could do nothing. She belonged to him.

Gadreel watched Samael and proceeded to him. She placed her hand on his shoulder. He jolted at her touch. She gazed into his eyes and smiled the kind of smile only expressed by true desire.

Samael chuckled and fidgeted then turned to watch Lilith with Satan again. Gadreel gently turned his face toward her. He squinted and when she leaned forward to kiss him he stepped back, turned his face away once more to watch the lovers.

Gadreel’s lips quivered. She pressed her hand on her bosom as if in severe pain. She walked away dragging her feet, wilted. She wrapped her arms around herself. “You have inflicted a deep wound in my heart, Samael. Even after Lilith clearly chose Satan over you, you still choose her over me.” She covered her face with her hands. What more could she do to show him how much she loved him? She glanced over her shoulder. He was still mesmerized and unaware she had left his side. If Satan discovered what Lilith and Samael had done in his absence––she slammed her eyes shut.

“I must demonstrate to Samael that I am not without my wiles,” she said under her breath. She had learned much from watching Lilith. She would do as she does, since it has worked so well for her. She would see Samael seethe with jealousy when he saw the pleasures she could provide.

Gadreel sashayed toward Dagon, who lay sprawled under a coconut tree. He watched her practiced sensual stroll and sat upright. He ogled her. She sat by his side and edged closer to him gazing into his intense gray-blue eyes.

She kissed his neck and passed her hands across his chest. His eyes were half closed. “I have never experienced such sensations.”

She continued to kiss his face as her hands traveled down his body. His breaths quickened. When she touched him there, his eyes snapped opened. Panting, he glanced below. His male organ was stiff and stood upright, pointing to the sky. Gadreel gasped.

She pressed her lips against his and wrapped her hand around his erection. He jolted. “Heat rushes through my body to culminate there.”

Gadreel pressed a finger to his lips. “Quiet.” His body quivered deep inside. He panted and grinned. He touched her hair and caressed her face.

Gadreel lay on the ground, legs apart, and drew him upon her. She guided him into her. Dagon followed his natural instincts and pushed. He threw his head back and groaned as he entered her.

She arched her neck and moaned with pleasure and pain as he penetrated her. He leaned in and kissed her lips and neck. She frowned and crinkled her nose. “What is that pungent odor that assaults my nose?” She pushed him away. He withdrew from her.

“What is the matter?” Dagon appeared confused. Red-faced she looked to the side and shook her head. He plunged deep into her once more. He panted and groaned as he continued to do this again and again.

Along with pleasure, he began to feel excruciating pain in his head. However, he could not stop. He continued to drive himself in and out of her. As his pleasure and excitement grew, so did a pointy projection, which surged between his brows and jutted from his forehead. It expanded until it developed into a great tusk, as it had in the deep sea. The tusk was large and menacing. In his eagerness, he did not realize that the tusk came dangerously close to Gadreel, threatening to gouge her. He closed his eyes and continued to thrust as she screamed and flinched.

She shoved him but it was like trying to stop a raging bull.

Samael heard her cries and followed them to find Dagon on top of her. Heat bloomed in his face. His nostrils flared and he closed his hands into tight fists.

Gadreel spotted him approaching. She judged the expression on his face and interpreted his intent. “No, Samael! Do not come any closer. Go away and leave us be!”

He stopped, flabbergasted. “Is this what you desire?”

Dagon roared and pointed his tusk at him in a menacing way, but at no moment did he cede his actions with regard to Gadreel.

Samael stepped back at the sight of the projection on his forehead.

“Yes, I desire this,” Gadreel said with shallow breath. She stared at him with partly closed, shimmering eyes.

Samael shuffled away, staring at the ground. What was happening to him? The sight of Dagon and Gadreel intertwined perturbed him. He did not know why, but seeing them together and knowing she desired to be with him upset him. He huffed and kicked a coconut lying in his way.

Dagon carried on with his sexual activity until he reached climax. Thunderous sounds escaped his mouth, whilst tides of pleasure coursed through his entire body. When he was done, he pulled out from within her and lay depleted on the sand. He w
inced as the horn retracted into his head once more and fell asleep with a contented expression on his face.

Gadreel lay motionless on the ground next to him, staring at the night sky with tears meandering over flushed cheeks. She longed for him to be gone. His fishy smell was upon her. She suffered due to his brutish ways. Her actions had originated in spite, and a sense of loss overwhelmed her. She wiped away her tears and lay sulking––wishing every decision she had made thus far had been different.

Satan made love to Lilith, and they were both enjoying the sex act when his form began to change. She squinted when she saw a red spot appear on his forehead. The color spread quickly in every direction, turning his pale skin a bloody red. Her eyes widened when his lush dark hair blew off his head like dandelion seeds in the wind and disappeared into thin air. Horns sprang from his skull. She shrieked and beat on his chest. “Stop! Get off me at once!”

Satan furrowed his brow. “What is wrong?”

She stared at him with wide eyes and raised eyebrows. “How is it possible you do not detect your own transformation? Look at yourself! You have become the appalling red creature.” She grimaced in repulsion.

Satan gaped at his arms and chest, hardly believing his eyes. “This occurred against my will.” He stared at his clawed hands with a shocked expression. “I changed into the horned fiend in the midst of making love to you. How is this possible?”

He squeezed his eyelids together. “I wish to switch to my original state.” He opened his eyes but there was no change. He made additional efforts to power the transformation, but nothing occurred.

“Why are you still this monstrosity? Are you chastising me?” Lilith peered at him from between her fingers.

“Like Fornues, I am trapped in this hideous body.” His body drooped and he gazed at her downcast. “I believe I understand what is happening.”

“What do you mean?” Lilith clenched her hands until her knuckles turned white. “Get away from me! You discuss me!” She kicked her legs and pounded on his chest.

Satan lowered his eyebrow, slammed his fist on the ground by her head and growled. “I grow weary of your rejections and demands!” He jutted his chin and puffed his chest then grabbed her by the neck and rammed her head against the ground. The black pits he had for eyes stared at her with unblinking focus.

Lilith clutched at the enormous, clawed hand squeezing her windpipe. She watched the throbbing veins in his neck as she writhed and winced underneath him while he resumed his brutal sexual assault. She opened her mouth, but his grip on her throat was too tight, and she was not able to produce audible sounds. When she turned purple and her eyes began to roll to the back of her head, he released her. She wheezed, gasping for air.

The others heard her cries and whimpering. They ran to where she was and were horrified to witness the red beast ravage her time after time.

Lilith tried to transform into the snake creature to defend herself, but as long as Satan was inside her, her efforts were in vain. She shrieked and fought, but he persisted until his act reached its conclusion. When it was done, he rolled off of her and at once turned into his angel form.

Lilith gasped. “He could not change while he was engaged in sex with me, but the moment he stopped, he transformed to his angel form almost instantly. What did this mean?” She murmured under her breath. She covered her mouth with her hand and raised her eyebrows high. The sex act with Satan shall only be possible under the condition he be transformed into the red monstrosity––yet another punishment from above. She turned away from him, curled into a fetal position, and shook with sobs.

Satan lay on the ground immobile, listening to her cries. He slammed his eyes shut and clutched his chest. He, too, grasped the meaning behind what happened. Whenever he attempted to mate with her he would transform into the red fiend against his will. He would never again make love to her in the form of an angel.

Satan rose to his knees, tightened his hands into fists and spread out his arms. He leaned back and cocked his head skyward, and a deafening roar escaped his mouth. Expanding his massive wings he growled his rage to the Heavens. His maniacal groans made the others flinch.

He yanked his hair in clumps from his scalp as his large horns projected from his head once more, and his skin became the color of fury. Sharp, curved claws grew from his thick, large fingers. His tail slithered from him, its pointy arrowhead aimed at Heaven. He foamed at the mouth, and saliva ran down his chin as he exposed his fangs. He was a gruesome sight, and the others paled and shook in fear.

Lilith wrapped her arms around herself, rocked side to side and screamed on the ground beside him.

Terrified, Gadreel leapt into Dagon’s arms. Lilith crept away from Satan, clambered to her feet and scurried to Samael. He held her.

In a fit of rage, Satan rammed the palm tree under which he had copulated with Lilith. He struck it many times with his massive horns until he knocked it to the ground. He inflicted large gashes in the trunk by thrashing it with his massive tail.

Satan pivoted toward the others. He glowered at Samael who held Lilith. Seething, his chest rose and fell with might. Samael let go and pulled away from Lilith. He lifted his hands and shrank from Satan’s black eye sockets. Lilith frowned at Samael.

Lilith crossed her arms and dragged her feet toward Satan. Samael held her arm and shook his head. She jerked her arm away and approached the beast. She stood before him as fear nibbled at her making her knees shudder. With a trembling hand she caressed his face. She had to calm him and convince him that everything was still good between them, before all was lost. She needed him in order to accomplish her goals.

“I shall learn to love you as you are now,” she said. “Together, we shall exact vengeance on God for what he has done to us. These things I vow to you.” Her eyes flashed with promise and seduction. “Am I still your treasure? I desire to be.”

From this moment forward she would say the things he wished to hear, but they would all be lies. She would do whatever she had to do to get what she needed. Her lips curved to a slow, sensual smile.

Satan’s breathing slowed. The muscles in his face eased. He gazed at her for a long moment.

“You shall always be my treasure.” He took her hand and kissed it. The color of his face became golden ivory, thick black hair sprouted from his scalp, and the looped horns retracted into his skull. Once again, Satan became his former self. Lilith inhaled a deep breath and blew it out slowly: beauty had tamed the savage beast.

“Let us get some rest before sundown,” Satan said. “The plan is to fly past the mountains and proceed east until the heat of the sun compels us to take refuge in the shade.”

Lilith guided Satan to another tree, since he had destroyed the previous one. They lay in the shade together and slept. There was a pleasant, cool breeze coming off the ocean. Samael waited until the lovers fell asleep, and then lay down next to Lilith.

Dagon grabbed Gadreel’s hand, she wrested it away and hurried toward the beach. Dagon furrowed his brow as he watched her run away from him. He lowered his sight to the ground, and dragged his feet to his tree where he slept alone.

Gadreel jolted and froze when she detected an unusual stirring inside of her. “What is this strange physical sensation? I have never experienced anything like it before.” She tilted her head and pressed her lips. When she didn’t feel it again she gave a half shrug strolled to the edge of the beach, dug a small trench in the wet sand, and slept by the water.

“Sleep well,” she heard Fornues say softly in her mind.

“You get some rest also, Fornues.”

  Chapter 20

  Beelzebub’s Cursed Love

Lilith awakened in the night. Realizing Samael lay next to her, she pulled his arm around her waist. She hoped to make the best of things by continuing her affair with Samael as compensation for Satan’s monstrous form. She closed her eyes, her mind began to drift, and her thoughts about Dagon’s story of Beelzebub bound in chains
became a dream, and then a vision. Soon she was witnessing the story unfold through Beelzebub’s eyes.

In Heaven I watched Raquel plead for Dagon’s release, and then I saw Gabriel and Raphael let loose the chains that bound him.

I was painfully perplexed. Why was Dagon set free, while I remained in the clutches of Cam?

I began to tussle again, only to have Cam tighten his hold on me. I realized all my resisting was to no avail, so I thought of another strategy.

“We were once friends, were we not?” I asked Cam, using my most submissive tone.

“Yes, prior to your betrayal. We no longer stand as such,” Cam replied in his usual stern voice. He was determined not to exhibit any sentiments, but I knew there was a fire burning painfully in his chest. I saw it in his eyes he grieved for me.

“Please have mercy on me now, brother.”

“We stopped being brothers the moment you decided to turn against God.” Cam tightened his grip once more. “The sins you have committed are unforgivable.”

I implored him with my gaze. “Unforgivable? No, I would not deem it so.”

He looked away. “You must suffer the consequences of your actions.”

“Why am I the only one to suffer in chains? Are my sins uniquely vile?”

“Look to your left, Beelzebub. Three other rebels share your fate. You shall not be alone—be grateful for that.”

I froze and stared wide-eyed at him. “Grateful? I should give thanks to be bound in chains until the end of days?” I shook my head in disbelief and tittered. “Where is Lilith, the mastermind of this conflict, and her accomplice Satan? Running free on Earth?” At the sight of the three unholy angels, bound in chains, gagged and blindfolded, I began to wail.

Cam’s lip quivered, he moved to gag me but then stopped and signaled Jetrel to gag me instead.

I watched him slump and his face contort with grief. “What is the matter, my friend? You cannot stand to hear my arguments any longer?” Jetrel rushed forward and stuffed cloth into my mouth, wrapping material across it and around my head to keep me from breaking words.
