“Want me to rub it a little?”

  “Would you mind?”

  Chaz just grinned.

Who would have thought knee massages would become their new favorite hobby?

“After, can I make your kitten purr?” Chaz waggled his eyebrows at her, a completely silly, un-like him reaction.

She sputtered, laughing as her skin heated. Not only had Chaz loosened up, he was a very quick student when it came to learning just how she liked to be touched.

“Only if you’re a very good boy.” Payton lay back, staring at this big, beautiful man. Her other half. Her heart. And knew—this time, this one time, everything was going to be okay.

Chaz stared at the ceiling, listening to Payton’s steady, even breathing. He could still taste her on his tongue. He smoothed her hair down and kissed her brow.

Okay, so maybe he wasn’t being careful enough if she’d picked up on his attempts to gather intel. He’d have to make sure to only talk to Abby when they were at work. Except, she’d begun spending time playing cards with Spencer, which was new. Still, he was going to need her help narrowing it down from the three rings he’d decided on to The One.

No, Payton wasn’t ready, but he could be.

When the time was right, he’d pounce, just like those damn cats—but not at three in the freaking morning.

  He could be patient.

  He could wait.

Because he intended to spend the rest of their very long lives together.

  He wants her . . .

Fireman Hunter Shaw is a world-class screwup. He’s got a lifetime of experience tanking every good thing that’s come his way. But when a shy, curvy brunette wins him at a charity auction to benefit a local rescue shelter, he realizes she’s got as much a way with him as with the dogs. Can he convince her he’s on her side when she’s framed for arson?

  She wants control . . .

Demolition specialist Jessie Durcell is in deep trouble when someone steals her explosives. Her brothers blame her, the cops suspect her, and the only person she can turn to is her sinfully sexy one-night stand. Can she trust the tattooed fireman? He’s wooed her pack of canine miscreants and her brothers hate him. He might just be the man she needs in her corner.

A deadly arsonist wants to send Dallas UP IN FLAMES.

  Her attraction is undeniable...

Firefighter Drake Hammerfell knew from the first moment he saw Everly Pitts stuck in a tree rescuing a kitten that there was something about her that called to him. This girl-next-door-beauty has him snared in her web, and for the first time in years...he doesn’t want to escape. He’s willing to be patient and bide his time to win over his reluctant lover. But his new start in Dallas isn’t without complications from his past, and his profession carries with it risks that Everly isn’t prepared for. How can he promise to be everything she needs?

  His magnetism is overpowering...

Everly Pitts runs an animal shelter that’s in desperate need of funds. Despite her misgivings, she can’t say no to the hunky firefighters lining up to help her cause by oiling up and taking it off for a bachelor auction. Especially him. When the ripped, four-alarm sex god Drake Hammerfell goes up for bids, she’s determined to buy back her honor after their embarrassing meeting—even if it means emptying her savings account. But what’s a girl like her supposed to do with a guy like him? She’s much better with animals than people, and yet Drake keeps coming back, wearing down her resolve until she can’t help but wonder...what if?

Together they’ll LIGHT UP THE NIGHT.

  He’s a country boy...

Firefighter Nate York isn’t the kind of guy she needs, but that hasn’t stopped him from wanting Allison from the moment he clapped eyes on her junior year. Years later, he’s still thinking about her. Even though his life is great, he can’t help but wish he was the polished, urbane kind of man who would catch her eye. He’s made himself satisfied with her friendship, but that’s not all he wants. Not by a long shot. And when an unexpected kiss makes him realize life isn’t lived standing still, he makes a move for the only thing he wants for Christmas. Her.

  She’s an uptown girl...

Allison Kurtz keeps her time as filled as she possibly can. That way she can’t dwell on her string of failed relationships that stretches all the way across Texas. When an old friend cashes in on a favor, she happily agrees. Helping her buddy Nate pick out a Christmas puppy at Hopeful Paws will be a welcome distraction from her most recent failure in the romance department. But their simple friendship isn’t so simple anymore, and Allison’s worried that she’ll lose the one guy she’s always been able to trust if she falls for him. Can a Christmas together convince her that the one she’s been searching for has been right beside her all along?

The glow of their love will LIGHT UP THE TREE.
