Her phone rang and she hoped it was Steven, but the phone read Deshawn.

"Hello?" Jade answered, trying not sound disappointed.

"Baby, I'm sorry about avoiding you. I just been really afraid of getting married. But listen, are you home? I really need to tell you something," Deshawn said.

  "Yeah, I am," Jade said.

"Good. I'm at the door now," he said hanging up.

Jade opened the door and Deshawn stood there with flowers. He looked so good to her. She hugged him as if nothing bothered her. She hadn't seen him in a week but she knew he probably stayed with her mother.

"Baby... I've missed you," Deshawn said looking into her brown eyes. He kissed her forehead and held her tight.

"I love you..." she said. Her phone started playing Steven's ringtone. She thought he would be at work at this time, since he worked late nights. Sometimes it would be hard to talk to him because of the time zone difference. She ran into the kitchen and answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, sweetheart. Are you busy? I got off earlier and you were the first person on my mind," Steven said.

Steven always seemed to be thinking of her. He always found simple ways to make her day even if it was a text, ‘Just thinking of you’.

"Oh.." she said cutting the small talk. She didn't want Deshawn to know another guy kept her company. Jade glanced to see if Deshawn was coming into the kitchen.

"What's the matter, Jay? Is something wrong? Did he finally come home?" Steven asked.

"Yeah," she said, trying to be quiet.

Deshawn came up behind her and kissed her on the neck. He lifted his head and gave her a funny look. "Who is that?"

Jade ignored him. "Listen, I'll call you back.” Before she could say another word Steven hung up. She could tell he was mad about her still being with Deshawn, even though he liked the idea of being her mister. Maybe he wanted to be with her, but how could that be possible if he lived in the UK? Jade stared deeply into space thinking about Steven.

"Jaybear, are you seeing someone else?" Deshawn asked looking into her brown eyes.

  "No..."

"So why aren't you wearing your ring?"

Jade took a deep breath and looked down at her ring less finger. "I took it off when I was washing dishes," she insisted.

"I thought you love the fact I gave you a place to stay, a flawless ring, and a wedding to die for," he asked.

"You can't buy my love, Deshawn.”

“I don't think you really love me," Deshawn said.

"I do love you…but lately you have been acting weird. Deshawn, you don't even come home anymore. You haven't been here in a week. We haven't had sex in months."

"Baby I've been busy with work and didn't want to keep coming in so late. I just crashed at my friend's house.”

"You know you're cheating on me," Jade said, backing away.

"Fine. Then the wedding is off. You can keep the house. The lease is paid up until the wedding. Then find yourself somewhere to stay.” He threw his hands up in the air.

"If you're not cheating on me why are you calling off the wedding?" Jade asked.

Deshawn couldn't look at her. "I'm not cheating.”

Before Jade could respond, Deshawn had already left the house.

“Leave like you always do!” she yelled, but no one was there to hear it. Jade knew in her heart that those words were lies. She couldn't pretend that she didn't care about Steven.

She had planned her whole life around Deshawn. Deshawn supported her financially and since she graduate from college things had changed. A day after she graduated she moved in with him. He proposed to her a year ago, but things were different now.

Jade sat on the couch and thought about everything that was going on. She called Steven back.

  “Hello,” Steven said lowly.

Instantly Jade knew he didn't want to talk to her. “What's the matter baby?”

“Jay…How long will we play these little games?”

Jade could tell by his tone that he's frustrated with the situation. “What games are we talking about? You wanted to be my mister! You knew what you were getting yourself into.”

“But I didn't think I would feel this way about you. I haven't been this happy in years. You really make me happy, Jay.”

At that moment, Jade became completely lost for words. Could it be possible that the grass was greener on the other side? Steven always remembered everything she said. He could recall things they talked about a month ago. Deshawn could barely remember a conversation from dinner. “I really care about you too. Just give me more time to break it off with Deshawn. I promise I'll do it,” Jade said, trying to reassure him.

“I don't believe you.” Steven replied.

  “Trust me, Steven.”

“I'm trying, Jay, but you give me no reasons to.”

“You're being a drama queen today!” she argued.

“You know what? Be with him,” Steven said, hanging up.

  Chapter Four

I hope I run into him. She spent hours planning the perfect outfit. She prayed she wouldn't be wearing her sundress for long. Jade sat in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel. Steven was coming into town for a business deal. Would he think she was stalking him? Her dark brown hair was loose, hanging down on her shoulders. She checked her makeup again to see if it looked okay. Jade hadn't spoken to Steven in two days. She wondered why he didn't tell her he was coming to the states. But she wanted one thing and one thing only: An orgasm. She didn't care what happened after; she just wanted to have mind blowing sex. She checked his Twitter to see what his next move was. She felt crazy lusting after another man.

His last tweet, fifteen minutes ago said "On the way back to the hotel. American women are beautiful." His tweet made her jealous, but did she have the right to be jealous? He didn't belong to her.

Jade looked up and there stood a man she assumed was Steven at the customer service counter. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. He looked absolutely gorgeous in his black suit. A picture couldn't do him justice. He looked like he worked out a lot. When the man turned around it wasn't Steven. Damn. I should go home. This is stupid.

Jade finally decided to give up and go home. As she was walking out, she dropped her purse. Damn, why am I so clumsy today? She reached down to grab her purse but someone had already beat her to the punch. When her eyes met the gaze of the stranger she realized it was Steven. They both stood at the same time. Steven's medium frame stood about 5'7. She’d always assumed he was a lot taller, but that didn't take away from his good looks. Steven was very pale but his gray eyes stood out the most.

"Jade... What are you doing here?" When he touched her hand she instantly felt heat rising from her caramel thighs up to her lovenest.

"Um…I just needed to get away from my house," Jade croaked.

"What a coincidence. I wanted to surprise you after my business deal.” He frowned.

Finally she stood in front of the man who could make her have an orgasm without even being there. Jade felt butterflies in her stomach as she stared into his gray eyes. She stared at his body, from his dark brown hair and down to his package. She often wondered what kind of present he had waiting for her. Jade couldn't control herself. She had to touch him because she couldn't take being this close without doing so. His body looked amazing in his business suit. He did look a little bit older in person but he was still gorgeous.

"You never let me do anything nice for you..." he said, joking. He couldn't take his eyes off his brown-skinned lover.

"You make me come every night. That's nice enough." Jade smiled and bit her bottom lip.

Before she could say another word he grabbed her hand and they walked to his hotel room. Steven didn't waste any time getting to the third floor. He took the stairs instead of the elevator.

As soon as they got through the door, clothes were thrown everywhere. Steven kissed her deeply, taking her breath away. His kiss made her lovenest hotter than before
. Jade never had another man before and she knew things would be different.

"Jade your body is amazing. I can't wait to please every inch. You don't know how bad I've wanted you." Steven kissed every inch of smooth caramel body. He wanted the pleasure to be about her. He wanted her to remember this night for the rest of her life.

"Steven…I've never cheated before," Jade whispered.

"I mean, you wanted me to be your mister, right?" Steven said sucking on her breast.

Jade couldn't help but moan but she couldn't answer the question. "Yes…I do."

"So what's wrong now? You wanted me more than your fiancé. I'm just doing your body a favor," he said moving down between her thighs.

"What are you doing?" she said, looking down at him.

"What do you think, princess?" Steven said with lust in his eyes.

Jade couldn't believe that he was about to please her orally.

Steven continued kissing her thighs. "What's wrong baby?" Steven said looking her eyes.

"Nothing..." Jade said. She was having second thoughts about cheating on Deshawn.

"You want me to stop?" Steven asked as he kissed her lovenest.

  "No," she moaned.

Steven licked her once and Jade backed away. She couldn't handle him and she knew it.

"Your boyfriend must be young, huh?" Steven said as he devoured on her lovenest. It wasn't long before her first orgasm started. Jade had her work cut out for her. This guy definitely had experience and was teaching her new things about her body. "Wow... I never had that before."

  "What, oral sex?" Steven laughed.

  "Yeah."

"I can't believe this guy doesn't please you in that way. You really want to marry him?" Steven asked as he opened the condom.

Jade eyes widened when she looked down at his manhood. This guy was too good to be true.

"You think you can handle this?" he said looking down at his manhood.

  "Yes," Jade said.

"Alright, miss," he said in the cutest way. Jade loved his accent more than anything.

When he was able to fill her up she was shocked. She’d never had anything that huge inside of her before. Jade went along for the ride and it wasn't long before the lustful lovers came together. Steven lay next to her and kissed her ear, making her moan.

"Come back to the UK with me and leave your fiancé."

"What? Are you serious?" Jade said, sitting up.

"Yes, I'm really serious. I want you to come back with me and I'll take care of you."

  "I don't want to be a housewife."

"I didn't say marriage..." Steven said looking at her.

Jade thought about things and it sounded like a good idea, but then again it didn't. What would she tell everyone and the wedding was still on.

"Jade, come on. I would love to show you off to all my friends.”

"Because I'm young and black? You want to prove to everyone you still have it?" She didn't want to be anyone's trophy. Bare, Jade climbed out of bed and went into the living room. She sat on the couch and thought about his offer.

Steven sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her. "Jay, come on. You would have a wonderful life in Manchester with me. You would love it," he reassured her.

"I probably would, but I can't up and leave my fiancé."

"But it’s okay to have an affair with me?" Steven asked.

"No, it's not okay, but I love him."

"If you love him so much why are you always talking to me?"

"I don't know," she said climbing into his lap. Jade couldn't deny she had feelings for Steven.

  ***

The next morning Jade woke up in Steven's warm arms. Things just felt so right. They made love several times before going to bed a few hours ago. Steven had to return to the UK and for some reason Jade didn't want him to go. Jade watched him sleep. She loved his shoulder length brown hair. Jade kissed his face and then kissed his soft lips. Wow. I think I’m in love with him.

Jade didn't want the clock to hit twelve pm. That’s when he would check out to leave for his two pm flight back to Manchester.

Steven woke up and kissed Jade softly. "I really don't want to leave you. The thought of it is killing me. Is that normal for a mister to feel?" Steven laughed nervously.

"I don't know. This is new to me as well.”

The lovers hadn't worn clothes since they’d walked into his hotel suite. Jade really thought about leaving with Steven to Manchester, but would it work out? Their affair was supposed to just be an affair, not a relationship.

"Please Jay, it's not the sex. Over the last couple of months I've been really happy. You being a part of my life has made me happy."

Jade knew that he meant every word but she would have to leave everything for him.

  "What will I tell Deshawn?"

"Nothing. You can grab your things and we can leave. Our flight isn't until two pm."

Jade looked confused. "Wait, what do you mean our flight?"

  "Look in my briefcase."

Jade climbed out of bed and located his briefcase. She opened it and saw the two plane tickets. Jade was astonished that he really wanted to be with her. He’d already purchased her ticket. "So it wasn't the sex? You planned this all along?" She returned to the bed.

"Yes, I did. When we first messaged each other, I didn't think anything of it. Hell, I've talked to a lot of girls in the chat room. But never had it gotten this far. It has to mean something, Jay.” Steven's fingers caressed her spine.

Jade ran her fingers through her long brown hair. She had a lot on her mind. "I love you," she said, straddling him. Those words she rarely used, but this time she meant it.

"Jay, come back with me please," he said, staring at her beautiful brown skin. He couldn't keep his hands off of her.

She reached for a condom and she put it on him. "You don't love me back?" she whined.

Steven kissed her. "Yes I do, Jade." It wasn't long before she was screaming his name. They made love again.

"Will that make you come back with me?" he asked.

Jade's body was still having aftershocks from the back to back orgasms. "I can't," she said avoiding eye contact. She didn't want to leave Deshawn. She just wanted to do the same things Deshawn was doing to her. Jade could tell that wasn't something Steven wanted to hear.

He rolled out of bed and started pacing the room. "Jade, I can't believe you would rather be with a man that cares nothing about you. You love me... You even said it first. I knew that you loved me months ago. You haven't even met with your wedding planner because you're always talking with me. But I won't beg you. If you’d rather be with him, that's fine. I'm getting ready for my flight. I suggest you see your way out, miss." He turned away and went into the bathroom.

She never thought in a million years that Steven could hurt her. With his words still fresh in her mind as she put her on her clothes, she wiped a tear away and walked out of the hotel room. She felt so many emotions all in one. She really loved him, but she didn't want to make that move yet.

  Chapter Five

Several weeks passed with Jade spending most of her time at the bar. She wanted Steven but was so scared to leave Deshawn. Being financially stable mattered the most to her at this moment. After her affair with Steven, she couldn't take her mind off of him. Marrying Deshawn was something she’d wanted for a long time. Though things seemed complicated, maybe she could fix the problems she was having with Deshawn.

“One more Sex on the Beach, please,” Jade slurred. The bartender made the fourth drink. Jade was drunk out of her mind.

“I'm sorry Jade but I'm cutting you off after this,” he said.

Jade finished her drink and called a cab. On the way out to the cab, she called Steven. He didn't answer and she left a message. “Steven, baby I'm so, so sorry. I really love you and miss you. I've been drinking my life away because of you. I haven't been the same since you left.” She ended the call.

When she arrived home she was surprise
d that the door was open. She heard sounds coming from upstairs in her bedroom. I can't believe this. She walked carefully up the stairs and threw open the bedroom door to find Deshawn having sex with the wedding planner.

“Deshawn?! Really I can't believe you would do this me!”

Deshawn quickly jumped out of bed to reach out to Jade. She moved out of the way. Spiteful words were caught in her throat.

  “Jade, I'm sorry,” he said.

Jade had heard enough. She ran over to Sara and punched her in the face. Deshawn tried to pull Jade away but the damage was already done.

“I was doing you a favor, you never loved him,” Sara spat.

Jade couldn't believe her wedding planner was sleeping with her fiancé and defending him. “I've been with him since I was sixteen years old. You don't know anything!” Jade had one too many drinks. She was screaming and her eyes were watering.

“Baby, we can fix this,” Deshawn said.

“We can't,” she said, grabbing a few things and running out of the house. That night, Jade slept in her car because she was too drunk to drive.

  ***

The next morning, Jade drove to a hotel and checked into it. She didn't have any family or friends she could depend on. Her first thought was to call Steven. He still didn't answer the phone, so she decided to leave another message. “Steven, I know I made a mistake when I decided not to go to the UK with you. I finally caught Deshawn cheating and decided it was the last straw. Right now I'm staying in a hotel until all my money is gone and then I guess I'll stay in my car. I don't want you to rescue me or anything but I just thought I would tell you. Maybe one day you'll call me back. I just hope it’s not too late,” she said, ending the voice mail. She had poured her heart out to him and wanted to see if he cared. She couldn't deny how she felt about Steven. Every day that passed, Jade wondered if he was thinking about her. Jade's phone rang in her hand. Her heart leapt. It was Steven calling her back.
