Dianthe Rising Page 11

“That’s it, sweetness. Show me how much this wonderful body loves my touch.”

I moaned and writhed for him.

“Tell me, Dianthe. I want to hear the words. Do you love the way I strum your clit like a fine instrument?”

  “Mmmm," I moaned.

Pinching said clit between his thumb and forefinger, he rolled it savagely. “Not good enough, once more, do you love the way I touch you?”

“Oh God,” I cried out. He shook his head, looked at me with false pity in his eyes, and scolded me.

“Dianthe, Dianthe, Dianthe…it seems you must be taught to answer properly.”

“Wha…” I managed to get out before he leaned down to my breast. A strangled scream tore from my throat as he bit down on my left nipple. Burning pain shot though it and bloomed where his teeth worried at the puckered tip. He released it to suckle the pain away.

There was so much going on I could not concentrate on one part of my body. He raised his hand from my hip and began twisting and pinching the right nipple as he laved the left. At the same time, he would pinch my nubbin before sliding his fingers up deep inside me. He scooped up the overflowing cream and rubbed it into my clit before repeating the process. My body tightened on the cusp of exploding when he abruptly pulled away from me.

“Sorry, my love, you haven’t earned that yet,” he smirked.

“Arghhh...” I tried to arch up and push him off me, but he only laughed and held me down with one palm pressed against my chest.

“Now…now…what a hot temper for such a sweet little girl,” he chided.

“Damn it, Robin, let me up.”

“Hmmm…not yet, let's see how you react to a little oral loving.”

He had me spread wide and his head wedged between my thighs before I could blink. I was able to take a breath before his mouth covered me but it sputtered out in shock as his lips and tongue went to work. Heat flashed through my body, quickly followed by cold and every nerve sizzled in pleasure so intense it was almost painful. A roaring like an oncoming train filled my ears and before I gave in to the derailment about to happen, he once again pulled away.

In frustration, I curled my fist and swung at him. I had never been so desperate or horny in my life. So fucking close. A moment more and I would have had the biggest orgasm of my life.

One of his wicked eyebrows raised and he imperiously looked down at me. “I see,” he intoned. “You need more tutoring than I thought. You are never to lash out at me when I discipline you. Do you understand?”

“No,” I screamed at him. “I don’t understand. Why won’t you fuck me already?”

“Because you are not ready, you will tell me when you’re truly ready.”

  “I did,” I cried.

“No, you didn’t. You threw a tantrum like a little girl. Do you know what happens to little girls who throw tantrums?”

He grabbed me and flipped me before I could open my mouth to respond. Putting me onto all fours, he knelt behind me.

“Little girls who misbehave get spanked, Dianthe.”

A stinging slap followed his remark and my bum began to burn.

“You have misbehaved greatly,” he said darkly.

Another smack landed across my other cheek.

“I asked you to answer me and you did not,” another smack landed. “When trying to correct you, instead of rectifying your mistake, you struck out at me.”

Once more, he smacked me, this time slightly harder.

“Now, you shall take your punishment and I will ask you again.”

I panted as I glared over my shoulder. He raised a hand and let it fall to my already stinging ass. Crying out at the pain, I leaned away from him.

“Not so fast, love, we have only begun.”

Pulling me back, he quickly landed several blows onto both cheeks as tears burned at my eyes. He then rubbed the burn from his slaps away with one hand while the other slipped between my legs.

“Ahhhh…what do we have here? Doth the lady protest too much? You are soaking wet, sweet. This little dick mitten is begging to be filled. Should we oblige it?”

I felt his erection at my entrance and could only moan as he filled the aching emptiness I hadn’t realized was screaming for consumption. With one hard thrust, he buried himself inside me to the hilt. I could feel the tip of him crushing against my womb and it hurt so good.

“There now, dearling, is that better?” he gasped out. At least Robin's play affected him as well. Nodding with tears falling down my face, I could not make a coherent word if my life depended on it. Robin took my hips in his hands and started slowly rocking back and forth.

“Feel me, Dianthe. Feel how the two of us strive to join our life forces. This is the very dance of life. Every living creature on every world does this,” Robin groaned as he rotated his hips on the last word, tearing a gasp from my throat.

“When the world is growing dark and my existence is becoming bleak, it’s this that will give me succour. I will look at this act between us and know that life is worth living because of you.”

Poignantly, Robin began to love me. He leaned forward draping his body over mine. One arm going around my waist as the other wrapped over my breast and grasped a shoulder from beneath me. Pulling me closer to him so he could whisper in my ear, he spoke softly.

“Tell me Dianthe, how do I make you feel? Do you crave what my body does to yours? Does each thrust drive you wild? Should I tell you what it does to me? How each clenching spasm of your tight little cunt just makes me want to sink deeper? How I want to lose myself in your heat and never leave? Tell me, Dianthe, tell me…”

“Yes, God yes, I love it,” I cried. “You feel so good in me. It is like an addiction and you’re my drug of choice. You feel like coming home and you make me feel whole,” I sobbed.

Robin roared. He reared back and started desperately pounding into me. I thought for a moment my body might shatter from the intensity of his gait.

Out of the rolling pleasure came an incredible wave of sensation. It began where our bodies joined and spread out to the rest of me. I felt as if I was in seizure as my whole body froze in place and then began to shake uncontrollably.

A keening cry left my lips and the shaking rose to its crescendo before crashing back down in a tidal wave of unspeakable pleasure. Behind me, Robin drove home one last time before stilling himself and shuddering as he spilled deep inside of me. I felt the flood of him pour into me, washing against my womb, and slowly leaking downwards.

Both of us collapsed gasping for air but Robin still had the presence to catch our fall and turn us sideways. Spooning into me from behind, he nuzzled at my neck.

“See how easy it was to learn the lesson?”

Laughing tiredly, I sighed, “If that’s how you teach, I may need to enroll for full-time courses.”

My Puck definitely liked his snuggles. Who would have thought a Fae that professed to be feared by every one of his own people would take such pleasure in cuddling? We lay there wrapped in each other’s arms sharing pillow talk just as millions of other couples did every day.

“You're joking,” I laughed. “You can’t honestly tell me you did that.”

“I swear it’s true. Did you not know a Fae could not lie? Stretch and bend the truth every way there is, but not an outright lie.”

I sat up pulling out of his embrace so I could look at him more clearly.

“So let me get this straight, one, you can’t lie.” Holding up my fingers in demonstration, I continued, “And two, which is more interesting right now, the whole Guy Fawkes plot didn’t fall apart due to a guilty conscience but because you had a lover you didn’t want blown up?”

Shrugging, he replied, “What can I say? For a Lordling, he gave the best head I’ve ever had.”

Appalled, I looked at him in horror. “So you stopped a terrorist attack because some guy gave a great blowjob?”

“Well, I haven’t had one from you yet, sweet, so I can’t compare the two
on whose is better. But I’m sure with some tutelage you will surpass his skill.”

Grabbing my pillow, I smacked it against his head.

“You male whore you,” I laughed.

He just sat there and looked at me in shock. It must have been the first time anyone had ever slapped him with a pillow before from the expression on his face.

So I asked him, “What’s wrong, Pucky, never been in a pillow fight?”

Mouth agape, he just stared, slightly bug-eyed.

“Pillow fight, Pucky? Why you wench. When I’m done with you, your arse will be so red you won’t be able to sit down for a week.”

Jumping out of the bed to run, I felt the cold sticky after effects of our sex-aerobics running down my thighs, then realization hit me and I sat down heavily.

  “Oh my God,” I whispered.

Concern crossed Robin’s face as he scooted to sit beside me. “Are you alright, Dianthe? You have gone very pale.”

“Oh my God,” I repeated. “We forgot, Robin.”

  “What did we forget, dearling?”

“Protection!” I screeched. “Oh God, we forgot to use protection.” I put my face in my hands and moaned.

Confused but obviously concerned Robin took me in his arms. “What kind of protection, Dianthe? The flat is warded. I would know if someone attempted to get in. Few would be stupid enough to come after you with me here.”

“No, you numpty,” I pushed at him. “Protection, as in safe sex. We never used a condom. Oh God, I could be pregnant.”

Relief and comprehension filled his face. “Ahhh…you had me worried for a moment. I thought it was something serious.”

“What?! It is serious you Faery freak.”

Taken aback, Robin looked at me in admonishment. “Honestly, Dianthe, there is no need for name calling.”

Putting one hand across my belly, he let it linger for a moment before sighing. “You’re not in season at the moment so you are not pregnant.”

Snorting through my misery, I stared at him gimlety. “Humans do not go into season, Robin.”

“Of course they do,” he replied. “They tend to do it with much more frequency than any other species.” He looked me up and down before continuing, “However, Dianthe dearling, who ever said you were human?”

Completely forgetting all my other problems, I stared at Robin bewildered. “What exactly do you mean by who said I was human? Of course I’m human, what else would I be?”

“Well now,” Robin said. “That is the question of the day. I’ve been trying to figure it out since I met you. Davies swears he had no idea and had no thought otherwise until a few days ago. You, yourself, seem unaware as does those around you. All we have is the testimony of a handful of Carmelite nuns and a tear stained letter.”

Flabbergasted, I just stared at him while he told me all this. “I don’t understand. What are you talking about?”

“Dianthe, you are not human, well, not all human, at any rate. I can feel the potential rising in you fast. Soon it will be evident to everyone that you are something—more. I’m not a hundred per cent certain yet but I do have my theories.”

“Theories? You have theories on what I am!” I could feel my voice rising. “You tell me I’m not human, but you don’t know exactly what I am. However, you have freaking theories, are you for fucking real? Well you can just tell me, Robin Goodfellow, what those theories are if you want to keep your fucking ballocks attached to your body.”

Breathing hard, I glared at him. If my mother had heard that come out of my mouth, I would be on my knees for a month with Hail Marys.

Eyes widening slightly, Robin looked at me and whistled lowly. “You have quite a temper there, dearling. It’s going to be amazingly exciting over the next several centuries trying to keep up with you.”

“Centuries…what?” I sputtered. Waving my hand in the air, I went back to the theories. I could only handle one crisis at a time. “Never mind, back to you and your theories. I suggest very strongly you tell me right now.”

Sighing dramatically, Robin walked around the bed. “If you insist, Dianthe, I will tell you my suspicions. At this moment in time I have no proof, so anything I say is just conjuncture.”

Watching him lecture me and fold his hands behind his back just as the professors at the university, almost did me in. He was going to see what a woman who lost the plot looked like. We were close to finding out exactly what it took to cause grievous bodily harm to the bogeyman of the Fae. I think he got the point from the look on my face when he took a deep breath and carried on.

“From what I have discovered and by the taste of blood I got last night,”

At the confused look on my face, he sighed again and waved a hand at my neck.

“I nipped and had a taste.” Smiling, he revealed a set of vampire like fangs.

“Okay," I said, "that’s just creepy and ewwww, blood, really?”

“Yes, really. I needed a taste to see if I could get a trace on you and to cement the bond. Ideally, you would have taken my blood into yourself as well. But any bodily fluids would have done and we succeeded wonderfully on that score.”

Growling, I glared at him. “Don’t remind me. Okay, Faery boy, back to me. What did the bloodletting tell you?”

“Not much, but you do taste of godling.”

  “Okay, what now?” I boggled

“As far as I can tell, one of your parents is a god”.

“Okay," I repeated dumbly. I need to sit down now.” The room began to spin and my vision went black around the edges. My ability to take in oxygen was suddenly very limited and I could feel my knees giving way. The next thing I knew I was back in the bed with a frantic Robin leaning over me.

“Dianthe, are you alright? Can you hear me, love?” He almost sounded panicked in his frenzy to revive me.

Waving a hand weakly in the air, I groaned, “I’m alright. Can you give me a little space?”

“Of course, would you like some water? Is this normal for you? Shall I call a doctor?”

“No to all of the above, Robin. Sorry that just gave me a bit of shock. You just told me I was the daughter of God. Is Jesus like my brother or something?”

“What? No,” Robin replied with disgust. “Where would you get a hair brained idea like that?”

“You said I was the daughter of God, that’s why.”

“I said,” he retorted, “I thought you were the daughter of a god, not The God. For crying out loud,” he flung his arms in the air. “There are a multitude of deities out there. Do you think the Christian God is the only one?”

“Well yeah,” I retort. “I am Catholic, you know.”

“If you’re looking for honesty while I have met several gods, I’ve never met the one you people worship. He is very reclusive from what I hear. Angels they are a dime a dozen. The lot of them are bloody pests at times. They are always fighting. They’re as bad as the light and dark Sidhe.”

I swear I was starting to feel faint again. “Robin, stop please. You’re babbling and I just…I don’t think I can handle any more information right now.”

  Chapter Thirteen

It wasn’t easy but I convinced Robin to leave. Whether he left or not, I did not know or care. My body and mind was past exhaustion. I didn’t see him, that was good enough for me. I called Daniel for a while and explained everything to him. It sounded even more strange and impossible talking about it over the phone. He took it amazingly, considering that our lives were playing out like a modern day Faery tale with a twist.

I was just waiting for the wicked witch to jump out and cackle ‘I’ve got you now my pretty and your little Faery too.’

I chatted to Daniel for over an hour and was able to fit in some normal stuff. He told me the communion went off without a hitch and his mum forgave him for running late. He convinced Annie to keep our relationship a secret until we were ready to tell people.

“Gahh, you would believe we were announcing our upcoming marriage.”

“It being Annie,” he laughed, “She’s probably in the process of planning it.”

After I hung up, I made my way to my bathroom and took the longest shower of my life. I’d had one earlier but I just needed to stand under steaming hot water and refrain from processing anything for a while. When the water finally soothed the tension from my shoulders and I had said a small prayer of “Thank God or gods or whoever at this stage for electric showers.”

I made my way back to my bed. Wearily, I tore the sheets off and put new ones on. The dirty ones went as far as the floor. I climbed into my bed and tried to forget everything until Monday.

  *****

The alarm woke me and with reluctance, I rolled out of bed. Today was the first day since I began to work for Mr. Davies that I dreaded it. Not only would I be seeing Robin but also I’m sure he said something about Mr. Davies yesterday in his ramblings that I just was not able to remember. If my mentor and boss were part of all this, I might pack it in and go home. Everything I have ever assumed about my life ended up turned inside out.

By this time, I knew what Alice went through down the rabbit hole. I took my time getting dressed and fixing my hair solely because I was dragging my feet. In the end the clock was ticking away the minutes. I had never been late for work and I was not going to start.

Reluctantly pulling up my big girl pants, I mentally shored up my courage and made my way out the door and to the tube station. At least I would be too busy avoiding death via trampling during rush hour to worry about recent events.

When I made it to the university, all I bothered about was getting to my office. None of the work I had taken home over the weekend had been done and I was ready to start. The stairs took me all the way up and past Mr. Davies’s office. I presumed I was home free, I really did. My office door opened soundlessly and I had stepped inside, then the sound of an animal growling resonated behind me. I did not have a chance to turn around before a hand propelled me into the room and the door shoved shut behind me. My back slammed against the door and I found myself held frozen in the glare of Kale Jameson’s burning amber eyes.
