Witching Ways Page 17

by T K Eldridge

Life should be good, right? You’d think so. But I’m still struggling with the loss of Stumpy. He left his cabin to Dad, and Dad said we could all use it as a getaway, so that’s what I’m going to do. I’ve taken a leave of absence from the SPD, packed up a bunch of books and my laptop, and I’m headed out to the cabin for a couple of weeks. I’ve managed to dump all of my boy toys over the past month, except Timon, who won’t leave, but is willing to give me some space. I appreciate that more than I care to admit, and no, I’m not telling him.

Some things, a girl has to figure out for herself.

Belle Cove needs the Mythics in order for the magic to balance.

Not everyone is willing to play nice.

The last time all four races openly lived with humans, there had been less than a hundred people in the region. Now there were hundreds of thousands.

The Supernatural Police need to to step up their game if they’re going to keep a semblance of peace in the region and not have every single non-human suddenly exposed to the whole world.

This is Sid & Sin’s legacy. It’s what the prophecy spoke about.

Are they ready - and able - to answer the call?
