“But Mum, she’s just not like that. You’ve seen how she is with me, with you. She’s just a beautiful, kind and caring girl. She’s not after my money like Vanessa was. And Kari has nothing to do with this.”

Mum scoffed hearing her name, “Oh, Vanessa. I wonder what that strumpet is up to now? I’m so happy your father never talked you into marrying that girl. She may come from a very well-to-do family, but her bloodline is somewhat questionable.” She swirled her wine and took a sip.

  “Among other things,” I muttered.

“Tristan, if Ginny loves you, she’ll understand.”

  “That’s not fair—”

She glared at me straight in the eye. “Let me finish. I must take care of my financial security as I get older, and I’d hate for something to happen and lose the business your father and I have worked so hard to build. Think of him, too. Make him proud, even though he’s no longer with us.”

Wow, that was some heavy guilt trip my mum just pulled on me. Fuck! She put me between a rock and a hard place and I really didn’t like that at all. I didn’t want to flat out refuse my mum and end up in a big argument, but by the same token, she wasn’t going to railroad me into making a decision that could ruin my relationship with my wife.

“Okay, Mum. I’ve listened to you, now you listen to me. I understand why you’re worried. There are plenty of gold-diggers out there who’ve fleeced their rich husbands for everything they’ve owned, and you naturally think that it might happen with Gin. I get that. But you also have to realize that even the suggestion of a prenup to a sweet and unassuming girl like her would be devastating.”

  “Yes, but—”

“No, you’ve had your say Mum, and I’m not being disrespectful, but now it’s my turn. Because what you’re proposing would be like me saying to Ginny that I don’t trust her, that I don’t expect our marriage to last, or worse…that maybe I might find someone else and just dump her, taking all my money with me, safe and sound. I don’t even want to bring the subject up with her.”

I could feel myself getting angry and I didn’t want to feel like that with my mum. It was my job to protect her now that Dad had gone and besides, this was supposed to be a happy time. I’m getting married in the morning, for fuck’s sake!

Her reply was abrupt, “Don’t be foolish, Tristan. You know as well as I do that things can, and do go wrong between married people. That’s when bitterness and resentment can change everything and although everything’s sweetness and light now, I hope both you and I don’t end up regretting you not heeding my advice.”

“Mum, if you care about my happiness, you won’t push me on this, okay? I won’t let you down and I’ll personally make sure you have more than enough money for your old age, but I love Ginny and I don’t want anything coming between us now, or in the future. I’ll look at the agreement, but I’m not saying I’ll ask her to sign it. I’m old enough to make my own decisions now, but I’ll think about everything you said and I’ll do whatever I think is right for you, me, Ginny and the company.”

“I know you will, darling. Just remember what I’ve said.”

“I will, Mum. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d better go find Ginny, make sure those girls haven’t got lost and I’m sorry about Kari’s behavior tonight.”

“It’s not your fault, dear. She just needs to learn some manners and a bit of etiquette,” she said indignantly. “She’s probably like all the other American hussies we see on TV.”

I had to laugh. “Mum, she’s not a hussy on TV. But she’s also not the aristocratic type you’re used to entertaining, either. She’s actually got a heart of gold and she’s a real friend to Ginny. I like her.”

“Yes, but did you see the way she was knocking back that wine? And her colorful language? Well, I’ve never heard anything like it—”

“Mum, stop! What do you mean you’ve never heard anything like it? You’ve heard it from your own husband when he used to drink and —”

  “Tristan Lee Armstrong!”

“Oh, come on Mum. Let’s not argue about this. I heard it all. I used to lie in my bed and cry at night, hoping he’d stop. It’s why I stayed away when I got old enough. Why do you think I never wanted to work in the office with him? I heard it, Mum! All those times he told you how he wished I were smarter, or stronger, or more this or that. Why do you think I took up kickboxing? Or agreed to study at Eton? I spent my whole life trying to please that man, so please don’t pretend it didn’t happen. I’m a big boy now.”

“Tristan, I’m shocked at you speaking to me like this.”

“Well, I’m shocked, too. I don’t like you judging her when you hardly even know her. Not everyone grew up in the social circles we did. She probably felt like a fish out of water with the dog and pony show and got carried away with the wine to calm her nerves. I mean, you haven’t been the most pleasant to her. She’s a really nice girl if you’ll just give her a chance.” I looked at my mother and saw her eyes were glassy with tears. I didn’t want to make her cry and I honestly had no idea where my outburst came from, but my heart was in my throat. I took a deep breath and reached over to put my arms around her.

After a moment of long exhales, I apologized. “I’m sorry, Mum. I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that.” I could feel her breathing get shallow and I just held on to her. Tonight was not the night to let all the emotions of my father’s death get to me. I kissed her on the forehead and loosened my grip. “I love you and I’ll take care of you and Armstrong. I promise. I’ll see you in the morning, don’t worry about anything, I’ll take care of it.”

“I’m sorry too, son.” I kissed her on the cheek, and let go. My heart pounded in my chest and I had absolutely no idea where the anger came from, but I felt a thousand pounds lighter. I made my way upstairs with the prenup in my hand. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with it, but I’d already upset my mum, so I thought it best if I took it with me.

As I climbed the huge staircase in the entrance hall, memories came flooding back of the many social gatherings that mum and dad had held in this house. My hand slid smoothly up the sleek wooden handrail and my thoughts turned to my father. I pictured him, all dressed up in his tuxedo, arm in arm with my mother as they walked down these stairs to greet their guests at one of their many ballroom dinners.

After dad died, I wondered if I’d feel his spirit or see some kind of sign from him, but I’d felt nothing. I missed him, despite our stormy relationship and I wanted nothing more than to have him back in my life again. Being in charge of the company and being the man of the house was a lot of responsibility. I fought back the tears as I thought about him and my mother. I straightened up and wiped my eyes with my sleeve, drying the tears that had formed there. I was getting married tomorrow and I didn’t want my bride to see me like this.

When I reached the top of the stairs and crossed the landing towards my room, I noticed the light was still on. I found Ginny sitting at the dressing table in her robe, brushing her beautifully long hair, as she got ready for bed.

“Hello, gorgeous.” I walked over to where she was and without thinking, I tossed the papers on the bed, put my arms around her shoulders and gave her a kiss right on the sweet spot of her neck. She looked a bit sheepish as she nuzzled her head against mine and I wanted to put her at ease before asking her about the videos.

“You seem on edge,” she whispered. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, baby girl, I’m okay,” I lied as I thought about the conversation I’d just had with my mum.

“I’m sorry you had to hear about it like this.”

“I just don’t understand why you didn’t tell me about Brad and these videos he’s harassing you with sooner? I was shocked to hear it. It actually made me sick to my stomach.”

“I’m sorry... it’s really nothing and I didn’t want to worry you.”

  “But Ginny, this is something.”

“Tris, you had so much going on. You father passed away, you had to take over
the business, look after your mom. There’s just so much you had to do and I didn’t want to add to your stress.”

“Okay, honey. But it’s my job to protect you and how can I do that if I don’t know what’s happening?”

She cupped her hands to my cheeks and replied, “I’m sorry you had to find out this way. I promise I’ll tell you everything from now on, no matter what Kari says.”

“Thank you, angel. I love you more than anything in the world and I’ll take care of you, but I have to know. After the wedding, we’ll get a hold of the police officer that you girls talked to and get Brad taken care of, okay?”

“Yes, hunny bunny. And no more hiding things from each other. I don’t like the way it feels.” Her lips curled into a pretty little pout and I couldn’t stay angry or upset. Not looking at those lips.

  “I don’t either.”

She stood up and twirled around, and then she walked towards the bed and picked up the papers I’d left lying there. “So, what’s this?”

  “It’s a—”

“Prenup? Not again, you’re kidding me, right? Fuck! Did you really bring this up here for me to sign, Tristan?” If looks could kill, I’d be a dead man.

“No, it’s not how you think, let me explain—” I didn’t know how I was going to explain this to her without pissing her off more, but I had to try. “Baby, I know you love me and wouldn’t do anything to hurt me, I love you too and it’s just a precaution, it means nothing. It was my Mu—”

“It might mean nothing to you, but it tells me you don’t trust me, even though we’re already married. I don’t want your stinking money, I’ve told you that! Do I need to tell your mother as well?”

  “No Gin, it’s just—”

“Well fuck you and your money, Tristan Armstrong. I’m leaving!”

“No, Ginny! Wait! You can’t leave, we’re getting married tomorrow.” My heart broke into a million pieces as I realized how bad this whole prenup shit hurt her feelings. I’d never meant to hurt her, but right now, I was stuck between two very strong women who I loved dearly, and I didn’t want to have to choose.

She just kept glaring at me and I just wanted it all to go away.

“See, Tristan? That’s what you don’t understand.” She slid her feet into her slippers and turned around to me, fire in her eyes, “We’re already married and that prenup means absolutely nothing, but you keep bringing it up. Why don’t you just tell your mom the truth and get it over with?”

She wrapped her robe tighter around her and grabbed her toiletries, “I’m sleeping with Kari tonight, you can do whatever the hell you want. I really don’t need this right now.”

She threw the papers down onto the dressing table and walked towards the door. I grabbed her arm as she tried to push past me and turned her around to face me. I wrapped my arms around her and I could feel her heart pounding so hard in her chest. “No, Gin. You’re not sleeping with Kari. You’re sleeping with me. We’ll work this out. You’re my wife and I love you. You will always sleep with me, no matter what. Even if you snore or kick or try to push me off the bed. We’ll never go to sleep angry with each other…never.” I released my grip on her and grabbed the papers off the dressing table. “If this paper is what’s causing us to fight, then it has to go.” I tore it in half.

  “Tristan!”

“I won’t let some stupid paper become more important than you are, babe.” I continued tearing it into little pieces, dropping them on the floor. She looked into my eyes and her mouth dropped open as the shreds fell around her feet.

“Tristan? Do you really mean that?” She turned to look at the pieces of paper strewn across the floor. “What’s your mom going to say when she finds out you’ve torn it up?”

“No worries, angel. I’ll deal with my mum, she’s old-fashioned but she’ll come around, you’ll see. We can’t let stupid shit like this come between us. I love you more than that.”

  “I don’t think she wi—”

“Sshh, baby. I love you, you love me and that’s all that matters. It’s the reason we got married in the first place, right?” She tried to answer but I kissed her sweet lips long and passionately before she could say another word. Our mouths were so hungry for each other and then I whispered in her ear, “Now come on, dirty girl… it’s time for bed.”

  “T?” she quipped.

  “Yeah, G?”

“I’ll never snore.” She waggled her eyebrows and jumped on the bed, giggling. A brilliant ending to a long, fucked up day.

  Chapter 10 — Ginny

Tristan had made me so mad. I couldn’t believe he’d brought that prenup to our bedroom, our bedroom! Of all the places in the world I never wanted to argue, this was the number one place. To be honest, I couldn’t stay angry with him for long, especially since he tore up that damn contract and because his kisses always turned me into a puddle of mush.

He slid onto the bed next to me, smacking my bottom on his way in. “Ow!” I yelled and slapped his bottom as well. He wrestled me down onto the bed in a playful way and when I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me, his smell was intoxicating. He smelled so good, manly. “You have too many clothes on,” I whispered against his chest.

“Mmm-hmm,” he agreed. His hands stroked my hair and held my face before sliding their way down from my shoulders to the tie on my robe. “What’s in here?” he teased, untying the belt and slipping his hand inside, caressing my bare bottom. Goosebumps covered my whole body as his fingertips blindly traced the angel tattoo on my hip. It reminded me of the day we got married in Vegas. Happiest day of my life and tomorrow, I’d get to do it all over again.

His hand moved up to my shoulder and I moved so he could slide the silky robe away to expose it. He slowly peeled away the fabric covering my boob. I shivered. I felt like I was his own personal stripper, only he was doing the stripping.

His hand moved to my other shoulder, slowly sliding the robe down my other arm. “Oh, Tristan…” He kissed my shoulder, and then planted soft kisses all down my arm. When his lips reached my fingers, he sucked each one before kissing the tip. It was so sexy, so loving and if that was the only thing he did all night, I would’ve been more than satisfied. But I knew better. There was no way he was going to stop there, not my Tristan. Sometimes, I wasn’t sure what it was he saw in a big girl like me, but whatever it was, I was grateful he found it.

His kisses moved over to my tummy and he stopped there, sucking and licking the soft squishy part right below my belly button. He let out a low growl that told me he was enjoying this as much as I was. As I lay there, my heart blasting away in my chest, I thought about just how lucky I was to have met this god of a man. Out club hopping with Kari. Whooda thunk?

“Ahhh…God…Tristan.” He’d moved down further on my belly, his hands spread my thick thighs apart and his lips were leaving small kisses from my belly button to my pussy. With every kiss, he peeked up at me and smiled.

  “I,” kiss.

  “Love,” kiss.

  “You,” kiss.

What happened next almost had me screaming his name loud enough for Kari to come running down the hall. Thank God she was used to it.

  “I want you, angel…all of you…now.”

“Oh, I want it too, honey,” I sighed, as he snuggled his head between my legs and kissed the insides of my thighs.

He peeked up between my legs. “Have I told you how fucking incredibly gorgeous you’re are, wifey?” he mused.

“Yes…” I wrapped my fingers in his hair and pulled him harder against me, but he teased me by pulling back, avoiding my pussy completely. God, I ached for his touch. His lips, his fingers, anything. I wiggled my hips forward, hoping he’d respond but he just traced his lips further down my legs to my knees, first the left, then the right, over my shins to my feet.

I curled my toes trying to calm the sensations, but he kept going. “Unggh, Tristan. Don’t tease. I want to feel you inside me.”

He rose up on his kn
ees and stroked the bulge in his pants, a wicked smile crossed his face, “Yeah? You want to feel this hard cock inside your lovely cunny?”

I tried to reach him, but he moved back, playfully. “Yes….fuck me. Oh God…”

He shook his head slowly, “Uh-uh, first, I want to taste you.” He took my left foot in both of his hands and brought it up to his mouth. His eyes were glued to mine as my big toe was slowly sucked into his mouth.

“Ahhh…Tristan, you tease!” He continued to suck each one of my toes into his mouth, one by one. They wiggled in delight as his tongue tickled and licked between them. My pussy ached inside, an ache that only he could heal. His fingertips danced up my leg to my thigh and when they touched my pussy, I grabbed his wrist hard, stopping it just in time. I wasn’t quite ready to explode.

“Ahh…baby girl, you’re a wet little lady tonight. Are you sure you’re ready for this?” He pulled his Henley over his head and I gasped at his sheer hotness. The matching angel tattoo he got in Vegas stood out on his hard chest. Right above his heart. I still couldn’t believe he was mine. All mine. He unzipped his slacks and when his fat cock tried to escape his boxer briefs, he chuckled and tried to tuck it back in. I giggled, his dick was too big and too hard and the head peeked out above his briers. He then slid his pants off and I lay there, looking at him. Wanting him. “Come, fuck me, Tristan…” I begged.

“Oh, I’m going to fuck you babe. I’m going to fuck you deep…” he slid his boxers off, “I’m going to fuck your hard…” he rose above me, kissing my tummy again. His hands reached over and grasped mine and then he raised them above my head. My heart was on over drive and when he slid in between my thighs, he continued, “…and I’m going to fuck you proper…”

I whimpered. “Oh fuck, oh fuck.” The anticipation of him filling me up with his incredible dick had me practically shaking. The head of his cock was right there, teasing my pussy. The head slid up and down between my wet lips. He slid it in my wetness and for a second when I saw the pained look on his face, I thought his teasing may have backfired.
