Looking down at Mason, whose patience was commendable, she said, "Yes."
An applause broke out. Excited voices erupted. The cheers grew louder as Pastor John emerged from the throng.
Utah covered her mouth with her hands, thrilled and happier than she'd been in her life. Mason stood beside her.
The pastor stood before them.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..."
The traditional ceremony wasn't what she'd have picked, but she wasn't complaining. She had everything she needed for this. Friends. Family. And Mason.
"I now pronounce you man and wife," Pastor John said.
It was over in ten minutes.
"You can exchange rings later." He grinned. "You may kiss the bride."
Mason faced her, took her into his arms and kissed her for the third time in front of the tree. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back.
This time things were going to be different. Starting with the groundbreaking celebration at Holly's. It had just turned into a wedding reception.
