  “Yeah,” said Paul, glancing back at the dark waters of Loch Ness. “Let's get you some First Aid, princess.”

  As he dabbed at his daughter's arm, Paul looked closely at the two small pinpricks in the girl's tanned flesh.

  “Julie,” he said, “go and make sure Will keeps well clear of the water, will you?”
