  “You like that, baby?”

  “Yes, please, make me come.”

“I love when you beg.” I smile down at her as I begin rolling my hips, slowly and gently. She begins meeting my thrusts, wanting it harder and deeper.

“Stop being a tease.” She slaps my arm playfully.

“You want it rough? No problem. Roll over,” I command, knowing she loves it. She rewards me with her beautiful smile before rolling over and sticking her ass in the air for me. Squeezing her cheeks, I pull them apart and lick her ass. She’s panting and whimpering. I pull away, slap her ass, and then give her what she wants. I slam my cock balls deep inside her warm, wet pussy, pausing only to gain the control I need to make her come first. Holding her hips tight, I start thrusting my full length deep inside of her. I reach around, strumming her clit as I fuck her hard, and in minutes her muscles are tightening around me, squeezing me. It sends me over the edge. I bury myself balls deep, planting my seed inside her once again.

She’s panting as she falls forward, laying on her side. Her belly’s too big for her to lay on her stomach any longer. I collapse behind her, wrap my arms around her, and rub her belly while we relax together. “Merry Christmas, baby.”

“Merry Christmas,” she groans, half asleep.

We have a very big Christmas party today at Logan and Sky’s house. There will be staff from the club attending. Now that my girl is getting some rest, I’m going to make her something to eat and surprise her with it in bed before I have to get her up to shower and get ready.

I cut us up some fruit and toss it into a bowl, and then toast us up a bagel while I wait for the coffee. She’s been trying to watch what she eats, and I know there will be a ton of food at the party, so I’m trying to keep it somewhat light. When I finish loading up a tray with two bagels, a big bowl of fruit, and two cups of coffee, I make my way slowly down the hall, careful not to spill. When I get there she’s still asleep with a small smile on her face. I place the tray on my night table and slip back into bed. She groans in her sleep and it causes me to laugh. “Do I smell coffee?”

“You do. I also have brought us breakfast in bed.” Those must have been some magic words, because she jumps up rather quickly, adjusting her pillows so she can sit with her back against the headboard. I chuckle as I pull the tray off the table and onto our lap. We both get comfortable and eat our breakfast.

“What time do we need to leave here?”

“In a couple of hours. Slade and Cole were invited to the party, so they’re going to drive us, and then stay to hang out until we’re ready to go.”

“I hope they enjoy the gift cards we got them. I feel like it’s not enough for all they have done for us.” She plops a strawberry into her mouth.

“I’m sure they appreciate it. Trust me, they get paid well for taking care of us while we deal with this situation.” I finish the last of my bagel and sip my coffee, which mind you, I hardly ever drank until Miranda came along.

  Miranda

We pull up to Logan and Sky’s house, and of course they have gone all out. The lawn is decorated with blow up Christmas characters. The trees have lights strung on them, and the house is lit up as well. It looks beautiful. This right here is one of the things I love about Christmas. Next year when Charlotte is with us, I’ll be decorating our place a ton. I want our daughter to have all the amazing memories that I got to have as a child. Stone gives my hand a gentle squeeze before he opens the door and helps me out of the back of the SUV. We agreed not to exchange gifts with our friends since the party was going to be way bigger than our usual clique, but we have something for Shane and Katie, since we’re asking them to be Charlotte’s god parents. We wanted to wait until we knew the sex of the baby to ask.

When we get inside the house, it smells of Christmas, and it is just as beautifully decorated as the outside of the house. There aren’t a ton of people here yet, and we’re happy because we wanted to share the news with our close friends before everyone else got there. Right now Shane, Katie, Jonah, Sadie, and Kara are here, but I make a mental note she’s alone. Once we’ve said hi to everyone, Katie crosses her arms and narrows her eyes. “Spill it.”

I look at Stone with confusion on my face. “Babe, do you have any idea what she’s talking about?”

“You’re such an ass.” Katie smacks my arm. “What are you having?”

Stone and I burst into laughter, and at the same time we say, “It’s a girl.” Everyone starts clapping and cheering for us.

Sky hugs and congratulates us. “Will you share her name, or do you want to wait?”

“Her name is Charlotte Jane Alexander.”

Katie gasps and her eyes well. “You named her after your mom.”

“Both our moms. Stone’s mom is Jane.” Now my eyes are welling with tears of joy.

“That is so precious.” Sadie hugs us both.

“Will you and Shane be Charlotte’s god parents?” I have a baby gift bag in my hand.

They both happily agree. Stone and Shane shake hands and man hug while I hand Katie the gift. She opens it to reveal a silver frame that says I love my godparents across the top.

“I cannot wait to have my first picture of Charlotte in this frame.”

Out of the corner of my eye I see Kara sitting by herself in the other room. I nod in her direction and whisper, “What’s up?”

Katie shakes her head. “Noah called her and said he has to work tonight. He didn’t see her yesterday either. She’s really upset.”

I sigh and shake my head. “She needs to move on.”

“I know, but she has to make the decision, not us.”

Stone slips his arm around me, pressing a kiss to the top of my head as he always does. This is going to be a great night. Slade and Cole are talking with Logan, while Sky lets some more guests in. Staff from the club have started to arrive, and Logan’s friend Mikey is here as well. Mikey is one of his good friends. He owns Club Temptation. Sky does some singing for him once in a while. My understanding is Mikey almost caused Logan and Sky to break up, but Logan realized he made a huge mistake and begged Sky for forgiveness. Lucky for him she gave him another chance and they’ve been happy ever since. The house is filling up with people and there’s food out everywhere, but I still feel for Kara. She’s joined the party now, but she’s still not herself.

Slade is telling us about his family when Kara comes over. I give her a hug and she joins in on the conversation. I notice that Slade’s smile grows slightly when he sees her, even though he continues to tell his story of how he tied his brother to his bed one morning so he could beat him down to the tree on Christmas Day. Kara bursts into laughter. “I should have done that to Katie. She used to beat me downstairs and she would throw all my presents to the side, trying to dig for hers. One year she broke one of my gifts before I ever got to open it.” Kara gives her sister a dirty look.

“Not my fault you were a heavy sleeper.” Katie sticks her tongue out and we all laugh. That’s the moment I decide that Stone and I need to have at least two children. I am an only child, as is he, and we missed out on all that fun craziness, but not only that, when we lost our parents it left us alone. We were both lucky enough to find a family with our friends, but if it weren’t for that I’d have no one, and I don’t want that for Charlotte.

“Let’s get something to eat.” Katie takes my arm, pulling me from my thoughts. I’m starving, so I happily wrap my arm through hers. Kara, Katie, and I all make a plate filled with goodies. Sky has all kinds of foods out. Wings, stuffed mushroom caps, cheese, crackers, meatballs, scallops in bacon…I mean, if it’s an appetizer, she has it. I swear to you there is no reason for anyone to be hungry. She even has my favorite: buffalo chicken dip. Love this stuff.

We all sit around the living room eating our snacks and we can see that Kara is slipping into her funk again. “Do you want to talk about it?” I gently place my hand on her arm.

  “Not really. It’s Christmas
and it’s bad enough I’m alone. Well, can he really help it if he had to work?” Katie sits on the other side of her sister.

“If I thought he was really working, then I wouldn’t be mad. He’s been keeping something from me. He fumbles his words when he lies, and when he called me over facetime to tell me he had to work, he couldn’t even look at me.” She closes her eyes and bites her lip. “I feel like I’m just a piece of ass to him and I think it’s time I let him know he can’t do this to me.”

“That’s my girl,” Katie encourages her sister.

I have a feeling we’re being watched. While Katie comforts Kara, I find Slade in the doorway. I give him a small side smile and he winks before leaving the room. He must have heard what Kara said.

Sky calls everyone’s attentions. “Can I have everyone’s attention, please?” she shouts, quieting everyone down. “Logan and I just want to thank you all for being here with us tonight. It’s Christmas and there’s no better way to spend it than with family. As most of you know, Logan and I have both lost our family, and are working on building one of our own, and it includes each and every one of you. Here’s to our ever growing family, may we be healthy, strong, and together for many years to come.”

“Hear! Hear!” we all shout at different times.

This has been one of the best Christmases of my life. I have the man I love by my side and a group of friends who love and support us. The only thing that could have made this better would be for Higgins to be in jail, but at least he’s leaving us and the club alone. Maybe I need to count my blessings.

  Epilogue

  Wedding Day

  Miranda

I’m pacing in Shane’s office at the club. I’m all dressed in my white and red gown, my hair is done, and I’m ready to say I do. The problem is the justice of the peace has not arrived to perform the ceremony. Sky has called her and discovered that she got a flat tire on the way here, so she’s going to be a little bit. The door opens and in walks Katie with a plate of food for me. The caterer is here and set up. I’m glad we told them to have cheese and crackers out before the ceremony.

Giving that I’m pregnant and we want to be married before the baby arrives in May, we’re getting married right in the club. There’s limited seating, but because we have awesome friends and family, they don’t seem to care. The ceremony will be short and sweet, and then we’ll dance the night away. It’s not your typical wedding, but that’s okay, because we don’t have your typical family.

“Here, eat something. The JP is on her way, but I’m not sure how much longer it’ll be.” Katie puts a plate down on Shane’s desk. He’s a great guy. He cleared his desk off completely so we could use it to get ready because I didn’t want Stone to see me. We spent the night together and then drove over this morning with Slade and Cole, who were already in their tuxedos, ready to take their place at the door of the club to ensure that only our guests get in. We’ve lightened up on having security around since we haven’t heard from Higgins in months, and both Benny and Tobey are in jail for quite a long time, but today is an important day, and we aren’t taking any chances.

Sky comes running through the door. “She’s here…are you ready?” She’s panting like she just ran a marathon.

“Sky, why are you all out of breath?”

She laughs. “I’ve been running around. I want your wedding to be perfect.”

I give her a smile and then hug her tight. “Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. This day is perfect.” I place my hands on her shoulders. “Now I want you to relax, you’re carrying Charlotte’s boyfriend, and we need to keep the two of you safe.” She bursts into laughter. She and Logan are having another boy, and the big joke is that he and Charlotte will hook up when they’re adults. Stone says over his dead body, but really I think he’d say that right now about any boy. She isn’t even born yet and he’s already nailed the role of protective father. It really is cute though, because he tells her goodnight every evening when we go to bed while he lays beside me with his hand on my belly, waiting to feel her move.

Sky sticks her head out the door. She says something and in comes Lila in her pretty red dress. Sky takes a quick picture of the three of us and then we take one selfie before the girls walk out to the dance floor where I’ll be married. Sky ushers me to my spot, where I’ll walk down a small ramp to the dance floor where Stone is already waiting.

The music changes as the DJ switches to the “Wedding March” and I begin my descent down the ramp. When I see Stone, my eyes instantly well with tears of joy as our eyes connect. He’s standing tall and proud, wearing a black tuxedo with a white shirt, red tie, and a red rose on his jacket. My girls are standing to the side in their red dresses carrying white roses. I have a bouquet of red roses in my hand.

When I finally reach Stone, he clears his throat as he tries to speak. “You look stunning, baby.”

  “You look pretty dapper yourself.”

We turn to our JP and she begins the ceremony by apologizing to us for being late. We tell her not to worry that things happen and she carries on. When it comes time to exchange rings, we turn to see Stephan walking toward us holding a teddy bear in his hand. He has been practicing handing this off to me for weeks now. He stops in the middle of the floor and looks around to see everyone staring at him. He looks over his shoulder to Sky, who encourages him. “Go give the bear to Auntie Miranda.”

He smiles and runs over to me. I scoop him up and hug him tight. “Thank you, big boy.” He giggles and I place him back down. We all watch as he runs off to Sky. He looks so cute in his mini black tuxedo. Stone used the bear he proposed with in place of a pillow. We got some red ribbon and tied the rings around the bear. Stone hands the rings off to the JP and the bear off to Jonah, who by the way looks really cute holding a teddy bear dressed in a tuxedo. I think it’s even funnier given the size of him. I giggle and turn my attention back to Stone. We exchange rings and listen as the JP finishes her last few words. Then finally the words I’ve longed to hear: “You may kiss the bride.” The JP has a huge grin on her face, she’s genuinely happy for us.

Stone plants a soft, sweet kiss on my lips, and everyone begins to hoot and holler. When we finally break apart, the JP announces, “Ladies and gentlemen, it is my privilege and honor to introduce to you for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. William Alexander.” The room gasps, because we never speak of his real name. Then the JP laughs and adds, “AKA Mr. and Mrs. Stone Alexander.”

Stone and I thought it would be funny to have us announced that way since half the people in this room probably didn’t even know that Stone was his nickname and not his real name. He hasn’t used his real name in years, and when he did everyone called him Will.

“You look beautiful.” Mrs. Cooper comes over and gives me a hug.

“Thank you both so much for being here.” I hug Mr. Cooper as well.

“No need to thank us. You’re family. We would never miss out on this.” Stone shakes his hand.

The rest of the night is a blast. As soon as the ceremony was done we walked around and thanked everyone for being here. Sky and Logan had a wonderful buffet of food set up for us through their caterer, and told us that the food was their wedding gift to us, even though I already saw something on our gift table from them. They truly are great people and I couldn’t be happier to have them as my family.

Since the baby is due in three months, we decided to skip the honeymoon for now. Stone took a week off, as did I, so we could register for everything we need for the baby, but we’re going to staycation, and maybe just take a day trip or two. Stone felt bad, but I told him as long as I had him by my side, I couldn’t care less about going away right now. I’d rather be here getting ready for Charlotte’s arrival.

The photographer comes over to us. “It’s time to get the group photo you want.”

Stone and I smile at each other
and then he nods up to the DJ, who calls Shane, Katie, Logan, Sky, Sadie, Jonah, Lila, and Kara all onto the dance floor. Everyone is looking around very confused as everyone else clears off the dance floor.

The photographer smiles at everyone and announces, “The bride and groom have requested a family photo.” She lines us up and takes a few shots that she later shows me through her camera screen. They come out great and I can’t wait to finally have a family photo on the wall in our living room. It’ll look great next to the maternity pictures we’re having done next week.
