Flirting with Deception Page 13

by Ava Catori

“My father was always afraid one day somebody would try to kidnap me, so from a very early age, he had me take self-defense classes,” I declared proudly. “I can take care of myself. I also learned a few tricks that I consider useful as preventive measures.”

“Well, it’s a good thing to know,” he said as he picked me up in his arms wrapping the bedsheet around my arms rendering me defenseless until he dropped me delicately on the bed. “From now on, I’ll have to remember to stay on your good side.”

Removing his pants, Hunter showed me that my acting like a wild Amazon hadn’t turned him off. Quite the contrary. Kneeling on the bed, he pulled on the edge off the sheet and made me roll on the bed until I was naked again.

Jumping in next to me, he chuckled. “Now let’s see, which one is your good side again?”

  FLIRTING WITH DANGER

Isabella's body shook, and for an instant she forgot how to breathe.

She jerked her head back against the wall and looked into my eyes, her mouth forming a perfect circle, "Oh!"

Forced to choose between her dreams and saving her father’s life, Isabella was thrust into the arms of a stranger, the future boss of a rival family.

Gino craved money and power. Consumed with ambition, Gino would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Climbing the ladder to become a Mafia boss, he never imagined that his lust for Isabella could be his downfall.

  About the Authors

Ava Catori is a Jersey girl with padded hips, a touch of gray, and a house full of furry friends. Her two dogs keep her company while she writes. With a positive outlook and a good sense of humor, Ava maneuvers life in the slow lane. A doting husband tells her she's funny, while her grown sons tell her she's not. Obviously, her sons are mistaken!

Olivia Rigal is a plus-size American who has been living in Paris for thirty years. She enjoys playful storytelling at night, a pleasant change from her day job writing a different type of literature. She loves to read, sing, cook and swim. She has a passion for leopard prints and is always wearing at least one piece of it … whether you can see or not.

Ava and Olivia met in July 2014 in San Antonio during the yearly Romance Writers Association meeting and enjoyed working together so much they are presently plotting something wicked for Gino because he’s a bad, bad boy.
