Chapter 7: Diary of A Mad Ronnie
It had been a week since Ronnie came back home and let out all the sexual an physical abuse that was going on with Lucky! And Lucky was blowing up the phone too, Ronnie knew he was angry but he didn't care, the abuse took such as toll on him emotionally that sometimes he couldn't even eat. Family encouraged Ronnie to go to a therapist and deal with emotional pain he had. When Ronnie went to a therapist he told him all the stuff and how guilty he felt that it was all his fault and that he was so sad because his life wasn't meant to be this way....
"It's okay Ronnie, you thought you did what was right for your mom and many times we feel it's our own fault that things go south thinking you could've said no, could've thought of a different way, but what happened happened and we can't get back yesterday, you just need to avoid him at all cost and don't focus all your anger on what he did to you that's more draining!" Said the therapist
"(Crying) I just hate the way he made me feel, like I wish it never happened and he hit me and touched me I just...I can't!!!" Ronnie broke down
"Just give it some time, perhaps write down some notes of how exactly you're feeling at the moment to get it out of your system, and in the mean time I prescribed some anti-depressants to help you cope with any pain you feeling," said the therapist
Then once the session was over, Ronnie went back home and decided to jot down the things that were going on into this notebook, he would just be glued to the notebook most of day as if he was writing a book! Soon Marlo decided to come over to Ronnie's house and be with him, also give him some much needed advice to move on with his life.
"Knock knock bitch!" Marlo said
"Hey you guys!" Ronnie said
"Just came by to check on you boo, yo mom said you been handling it but you know you Ronnie, you can always talk to me or Lauree Kaleem cause we yo Day ones!"
"I know, and I'm glad I have friends like y'all, but girl, it's been so rough, I'm going to therapy even taking these happy pills but I still feel like it just happened yesterday I don't why, I don't know where to start over cuz he hurt me so fuckin bad
"Ronnie I'm gonna tell you something that I've never told anybody before.....when I was 15 I was abused by this nigga I was seein, he hurt me so bad that I cried for weeks, while he went and did his own thang like nothin happened!"
"What you do gurl?"
"I got me a Louisville slugger and went over to his place, he was all up on his new hoe, and I came unexpected and swung as hard as I could knocked the nigga right out, broke almost all his shit and I got my power back!"
"Damn gurl you went Waiting To Exhale on his ass!"
"I know and it felt good, you see boo you don't need fuckin pills, you need to go back and fuck him up for what he did to you, cause I can't stand to see you like this!"
Then Ronnie gave the words that Marlo said to thought, he didn't want to feel like this forever and he knew one of these days he was gonna have to move on. As Ronnie slept that night he couldn't sleep, all the flashbacks of Lucky abusing him were constantly replaying, and it made him feel mad like he never felt before, he wanted to give Lucky the beating he deserved....and at that moment Ronnie stopped crying and started to get enraged!!
The next day Ronnie got himself together and didn't pack his clothes or anything, he just put on some jeans and a hoodie and some nice boots, and took Aunt Bessie taser.....for he was dressed ready to fight! Delilah saw him getting ready to walk out the door,
"Ronnie where you goin, you goin to the therapist?"
"No mom, I'm going back to New Orleans and take care of business, that man did so much damage to me and now he's gon know what it feel like!!"
"Ronnie are you sure about this, he might hurt you again I think you should stay here!"
"No mom, what he did to me was terrible, and it's only a matter of time before he does it to someone else!"
Ronnie then walked out the door and took the cab to the airport, the whole time he lookin out the window and just thinking about all the shit that went down, and he was very VERY pissed! When Ronnie finally got to New Orleans later on that night he went to Lucky big house and although he was kinda nervous he felt strong and banged on the door till Lucky opened....
"Where you been faggot! Do you know how much money we lost, HUH!
"I'm not thinkin bout that shit right now....!"
"What you say!"
"YOU HEARD ME NIGGA I SAID I AINT THINKIN BOUT SHIT!" Ronnie shouted
"You not gon talk to me like that! ESPECIALLY WHEN YO ASS BEEN GONE YOU KNOW I GAVE YO ASS SO MUCH MONEY!!"
"Look Lucky I ain't playin games, I just want to be released with my contract and never see you again...."
"Whoa whoa the fuck you mean you done with me, don't you know I MADE YO CAREER, without me you still be a sissy prancing around for 20 bucks!"
"Whatever I don't give a fuck, I'm callin the cops and telling them EVERY FUCKIN THING YOU DID TO ME!!"
THEN RONNIE TRIED TO PULL OUT HIS CELL PHONE BUT SUDDENLY LUCKY KNOCKED IT OUT HIS HAND AND BEGAN TO HIT RONNIE, THEN LUCKY TRUED TO DRAG RONNIE ON THE FLOOR AND THREW HIM ON THE COUCH TRYING TO RIP OFF HIS CLOTHES!! But Ronnie wasn't about to be violated again... JUST AS LUCKY WAS ABOUT TO FORCE HIMSELF AGAIN, RONNIE KICKED HIM IN THE BALLS AND GOT LUCKY OFF OF HIM!! THEN RONNIE POUNCED ON LUCKY AND BEAT HIM DOWN AS HARD AS HE COULD, LEAVING LUCKY BADLY BRUISED.....but Ronnie wasn't thru just yet, HE PULLED OUT THE TASER AND SHOCKED THE FUCK OUT OF LUCKY!!
"THE FUCK WRONG WITH YOU!" Lucky shouted
"SOMETHING I SHOULD'VE DONE EARLIER, YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST VIOLATE ME AND TAKE ME ON THIS WILD RIDE, YOU TRIED TO BREAK ME.....SO NOW IMMA BREAK YOU!!" Ronnie shouted
Then Ronnie brought his destruction! He got a bat he found and TORE SHIT UP!! HE SMASHED THE EXPENSIVE PAINTINGS, ALL THE VASES, SHATTERED THE BIG FLATSCREEN TO PIECES, SMASHED LUCKY BRONZE STATUES, BROKE EVERY DISH IN THE HOUSE AND THEN THE AWARDS.....THROWN ONTO THE HARD FLOORS AND RONNIE BASHED TO A MILLION PIECES! Then Ronnie came over to Lucky while he was still squirming on the floor, IT WAS TIME FOR PAYBACK!
"You tried to abuse me, you tried to keep my money away take advantage of me knowing I need it...so for every time you touched me, imma beat you!"
"(Swings bat) THIS FOR FUCKIN ME!!" Ronnie shouted
"AHHHHHHH" shouted Lucky in pain
"(Swings bat) THIS FOR TAKING MY MONEY!"
"AH SHIT STOP!"
"(Swings bat) AN THIS FOR RUINING MY FUCKIN LIFE!! shouted Ronnie as he beat up Lucky
Then Ronnie got it all out his system, all the hurt and suffering, AND HE FELT PRETTY DAMN GOOD! Ronnie was sitting in the big house all by himself getting a kick out of Lucky suffering when there was a knock at the door, it was the cops!
"Sir, we got complaints of screaming coming from this house.....why's that man laying on the floor, did something happen?" The officer asked
"Come in.....officer, this man violated me, he physically abused me and we just had a huge fight that's why the house is such a mess!" Ronnie said
"Sir is this taser yours!"
"Yes it was for self-defense! He was beating me," Ronnie said
Then the officers knew Ronnie was telling the truth, so they took a knocked out Lucky and put him into the patrol car, taking him to the jail, meanwhile Ronnie called his mom and told her what happened.
"Hey mom, something happened!"
"Ronnie did he touch you again, I told you not to.....!"
"No mom the cops took him away, I'm finally getting my life back, I hurt him pretty bad but it dont compare to half what he did to me,"
"I figured you beat his ass, cause Bessie taser is gone, but I'm glad you feeling better, are you okay you need anything?" Delilah asked
"No mom I'll be fine, but I think Renee Harvey been gone for too long...."
Then Ronnie decided to put on a green dress and make a surprise visit to a gay club in The French Quarter, and everybody was glad for his
return, because even 2 weeks was too long! And Renee sang a karaoke rendition of "I Will Survive" and the crowd loved it, then did a lip sync to Janet Jackson and danced his ass off! But after the show was over Renee told the crowd that it would be her last show for a while, to focus on dealing with her life behind the glamour, and reveals to the crowd of the abuse Lucky and how it emotionally damaged her, and the crowd instantly gave support! When Ronnie got off the stage he went back to Lucky big house and the feeling of having the big house all to himself, laying in one of the guest rooms he discovers a chest under one of the beds...it had cash in it, TOO MUCH TO COUNT!! Ronnie was laying on one of the plush beds thinking about how he wanted out of the entertainment world.......and wondering what he was gonna do next.
